On the plus side its likes are about 6 to 178 downvotes. The guys name was EvilYoshi, now how'd he come across this site if he wasn't looking for it?;]. P.s. sorry if this is old news lol.

It's pretty old news (though I didn't hear about it when it was made), but thanks anyway.

For those who know this site's history; this would be smoogy, yeah? I get the feeling the feeling he'd do this sort of thing, hearing about him. We're lucky that such trolling has passed.

Yeah that was him, and he has since tried apologizing many times, only to turn around and mock me personally. Either way, that's life.

Sometimes I wonder if we should keep a pet troll around, they can be entertaining in their sad attempts to rile people up, and instead make themselves look like fools.

PlayShape would've wanted have made the forums, but ren rap.... you know, that joke dull and kinda sick. We'll just ignore i made it and follow that up with something grosser once i get the time.

Nah. As far as I've heard, Playshapes made LOK v 0.1 with a statement to the order of "I'm not going to finish this game, but if anyone else wants to, that'd be sweet". Afterwards, Renara made the LOK forums, and that has resulted in LOK 0.2 and a nice place full of creative people who make games.

I see... I just asumed that playshapes made it since the link was IN his game, but I will trust you.

Not originally; you can still download LoK v0.1 from the front page. Basically PlayShapes released the game to pawsru.org (I think it had a different URL back then) saying that he wanted to release what he'd done but wouldn't be finishing it. After a while he also released the .fla file from which LoK was made; this was LoK v0.1, or what I took to calling it, I can't remember if PlayShapes even gave it a version number originally.

Anyway, I took the .fla file and decided to try and finish off the bits that were there to make the whole SharpClaw village area playable, and the result of that was v0.2 which is now pretty well distributed all over the place. Before I finished v0.2 though I mentioned what I was doing and interest in what was happening got way too high for the pawsru thread, so I set up this forum, originally just as a sub-domain of my own site, then I went and grabbed the legendofkrystal.com domain name to go with it. PlayShapes swung by the forums pretty quickly (he's member #6 if you take a look at the member list).

PlayShapes helped with finishing off one of the scenes (the anal one) and submitted a couple of bonus scenes. When he set up his page on Newgrounds, he made a build of LoK with just these extra/finished scenes added and called it LoK v0.1.1, and included a link back here.


As for smooogy, he was just some idiot that started out posting a discussion thread and then exploded into a fit of posting insults as fast as he possibly could; not fast enough to actually make much of an impact as we cleared it as fast as he could produce it (faster actually). He then later came back and tried again which is when he made his video. Thing is, his discussion thread actually had an interesting debate going on regardless of him lying or not (lying on the internet isn't much to be proud of after all), and his attempts to flood the forum were impotent at best as we were able to delete the messages faster than he could post them as he was only copy/pasting, which is a far cry from a genuine attack on the site.

I wouldn't recommend wasting the time watching his video, it's more fun to read the comments which pretty much universally slander Smoogy for being an idiot. Though if you feel strongly enough there's a report button, but I'm not sure how much attention YouTube really pay to it.
