"Ah, good morning , big si-" *SLAP*
"Awh, sis! Why did you do that?!" Mart pouted, holding his cheek and looking up at you with teary eyes.
"I-i just wanted to snuggle with you a little..."

"Get away!" Claire shouted. She pushed him off the bed and ran out. She turned down a few hall ways and lost him. (ABSOLUTELY LOST HIM!). The problem was Claire was now also lost. She looked back and then continued to run. Eventually she walked into an empty room.

luckily for her, Mart wasn't in that room for she had lost him. (wow, so cruel)
Unluckily for her, however, someone else WAS.
A machine, to be more exact, a huge monstrosity of brass and steam and gears and loud noises. As soon as Claire had walked into the empty room the machine had whirred alive and closed in from the hall; and now towered in the doorway.
It was fairly humanoid, but too square-ish and bulky to decieve anyone.
"HELLO there, STRANGER! can i HELP YOU?" It whirred, seeing as the female human seemed slightly lost.

"Huh? Uh... sure. Just don't let anyone else in the room. And, uh, protect me from harm." Claire said.

"YES ma'am" The machine whirs, and turns his body towards the hallway while what you assume is his head keeps looking at you, a little tilted to the right, before every exact ten seconds gives a loud *tick* and makes his head tilt the other way.

You are in a room, completely devoid of life safe some spiders and yourself. Old, dusty smelling bookcases cover one wall, and an old leather chair and a table next to it make up for the only furniture. There are enormous windows in the far end of the room, adorned with lead-glass in all sorts of beautiful colors as the light shines through and makes a double of the picture shown on the ground as well. A picture of a valiant knight can be seen, beating some sort of ugly beast with a spear.

Claire walks over to the picture and shudders. She then looks over at the bookcase. (Any books?)

Claire notices a whole lot of old, dusty books; tanned leather bindings and crackled with age. She figured this must be in the old section of the castle and rarely visited.
There are a lot of weird symbols on the books, and some of them even seem ominous enough to let Claire think twice about peeking inside. Still, the others should be okay...

Claire picks up one of the ominous books and peeks inside.

The ominous book Claire peeked inside of just so happens to hold one of Illian's more darker secrets, and it shows a full-cover drawing of a man leaning on a set of books, grinning mischieviously. He is wearing fancy clothes with a lot of lace, almost keeping you from seeing the two large horns on his forehead and the two demonic-looking wings on either side of him.
The man has long, wavy hair and pointy ears; and you see a flash of a fang in his smile. Two eyes stare at you tauntingly, seductively, captivating.
As you look down and take a closer look to the pile of books you notice multiple strange languages on the bookcovers, but the one that you can read sais 'mephistopheles' and 'the devil in the modern world' and.

Claire stares at the picture for a moment and then closes the book. "That, was very weird..." she said quietly.

Claire closes the book, and under the watchful eye of the machine mutters to herself. The eyes of that man keep going through her mind though, and she feels forced to open the book again :3

Claire ignores the feeling and walks over to the chair. She sits down and stares at the book. She sighs and opens it again.

As soon as claire opens the book again the picture pops up, looking at her.
This time though, the figure had a slight frown on his face, but his eyes were just as captivating as she remembered.
"Good day, young miss" The figure spoke, leaning heavily on his set of books. "You shouldn't just close the book on people you know, its rather rude. Its okay though, for you're the first one i can talk to in ten years"

Claire screamed and jumped off the chair.

"Whoa, whoa~ Easy there girl, don't be doing reckless stuff now~" The figure laughed, flapping his right wing absently. "Oh my, i didn't scare you there now did i?"

Claire ran to the corner in the opposite side of the room. She is shaking in fear.

"Miss? Miss? Miss, where are you? I cannot see..." the person in the book called out, sounding rather troubled.
The he sighed deeply, and muttered to himself softly. "Would you look at that. Finally i get to talk to someone again, hoping for a pleasant conversation... That reminds me, last time i scared someone was... when was it? Three hundred fourty years ago? yeah, approximately... The kid left me opened for thirty years, making all my pages into dirty, dusty pieces of... oh, how i hope it wont turn out like that this time..."

Claire slowly crawls over to the book. "Wh-what are you?"

"Ah, there you are miss, i was afraid you had run off!" He laughed softly. "Why, i'm a drawing; naturally! I'm a piece of art, the essence of an artist's imagination... i am, my dear sweat, the drawing that was magically given life to hold this world's most darkest secrets. And they aren't quite about how to make chocolate cookies neither"

"Huh? So you're kinda like a diary?" Claire asked.
