I have An Idea too long to explain in subject

Many times projects that go through this forum start out very well but then due to either RL circumstances, loss of interest, or just tired of doing things like this. I have a proposal that could make any project here that someone wishes to have help working on that requires drawing, designs, storyboard and even coding be available to be worked on in real time through connection to this forum.

Some projects here are being worked on solo when it comes to the coding, drawing, designs etc. But others have people who wish collaborate with many others. Doing something like this is difficult because it mainly depends on who's willing to organize deadlines and things that wished to be done for the coder to fully implement into the game itself.
Bear with me while yes my point takes a little to get to. If we were able to make it so that along with this forum we could somehow setup a way for collaborative projects to be able to work on through this site, like any changes or new editions you would have to first connect to the site and then access a login panel separate to that for logging into the forum, that would then allow you to access the entire project and then work on it from within whatever program we/ the website owner would setup. All files would be only changeable through that system for projects like it. and Possibly only one or two people could work with it at the same time at most.
Say a project has already been started you got the intro and everything but then peoples times and schedules changes and you cant necessarily get things done on time in turn or whatever. or just cant send the files to the main person. With this you could set an order for each thing that would need to be done before the next person could make more progress. Like first one person who was the level designer would first have to design that level. Then the Coder could encode the level and prep it for any characters that needed to be in it. Then the character designer would design and make the character and setup the different parts that could be moveable etc. Then the animator could then work on animating those characters to having their needed animations for the game.

At the moment I realize I don't have the best idea how to code and I know I haven't done anything that is flash. The only thing I have really ever made animated was when I made a spoof of madness combat that was about a Cannon wishing to kill everyone and I made everything animated by using microsoft powerpoint in like 5th grade to make slide after slide and the slight position changes etc.

I am however working towards an degree in computer science and programming. Started classes this semester etc. Anyways back to what I was talking about earlier.

So through this system it would make things work really well but I know its probably too complicated to implement something like this to allow for what I stated above.. Anyways its just an idea Say what you want about it, Mull it over or talk about it I just wanted to post it. I felt it should be here at the creative corner section of the forum because its not really a request thread its just an idea that someone might actually want to try and use and I know usually the creative people behind these things so far probably only check this part of the forum.

Lastly just realized. You know the games that have been partially made, yeah a lot of them are going to adult game sites. Which do make money off advertisements. I highly suggest someone or the website owner put in a statement regarding this and that if, these sites keep doing this without the permission of the creators, and or without paying them a portion of the money made from advertisements that they have every right to sue.
Hope everyone has a better year and hope to hear some good responses to this. Thanks for reading.

Actually that's not difficult, you can share a dropbox account to make collaborative project

WTH is dropbox?
Dropbox its a program that make a folder updated in realtime, so you can make a change or upload an archive to the folder, and automatically the rest of the dropbox's folders will update their info, and there's no need of a "main" folder that change the rest of them, any folder update any other

Is this sh*t http://www.dropbox.com/

It is really a waste of time on the administration side of things. For a collaborative project to truly excel open communication is the key. This can be accomplished through msn which conveniently has a group function, which also has an integrated sky drive. Many other methods that you, the organizer, should take initiative on as opposed to forcing the administration staff to follow up on this. Not to be rude or anything just the amount of effort put into versus the usage you get out of it is too high especially with other readily available methods.
