I use IE9, popup blocker set to always prompt, combined with AVG toolbar. It slows down page loading but your going to be safe from about 99% of malware so long as you dont ignore the scaner. it seems to miss certain things like a raptor download i got from a free download site. windows defender managed to take out that one and it doesnt conflict with avg so i keep it updated just as a safe guard and have it auto run each day. the only issue it that some sites send the download script first then fowards you so the little allow popup button comes and goes to fast so you have to disable the blocker for the page manually then re-enable it if you want to download it and any ads you actually click on will be blocked and promted before a page refesh (if you allow popups) which often chages the ad. basically im safe because my web browser has become really paranoid with the active virus scanners and popup hate. its like my computer has a vurtual bodyguard.
UPDATE: MY 11 POST! YAY!
What is a goal but an attempt to gain a purpose? We don't really want the goals and advancements for themselves, we want them because it gives us a reason to act.
