If you do a good job on it and others are satisfied we can probably put you on enemy design as I'm doing it currently. no promises though unfortunately. Be sure to use 300pixels when you scan it in since it give a much better quality. also i was in all likely hood going to put ridley in but i had doubt because i thought maybe we should do metroid prime final form but that would be to close to the karazo spirts.
dandan Wrote:Agreed Shedra, Ridley looks like Ridley, and like something you'd find in LoK.
Have you tried showing him in 4 legs? Just curious. He's usually pretty damn big unless they are going to reduce his size to make him fit in the game. Him moving on all four is canon, he actually moves pretty damn fast like that.

What games is he on all fours? He always looks crouched or hunched over, not crawling.
I don't really feel up to re-drawing all his poses to put him on all fours. But I'll keep it in mind if I must.
I don't know anything about vectors, do I just outline it and color it then save it as a PNG?

I take the image, sketch over what it looks like altogether, make some slightly needed adjustments, and be on my way with my methods in the dark shady lands of real to digitalization. All I really need is an image of where all of Ridley goes, so I can put him together in a final vectorization.
If we use this Ridley, we probably won't be putting him on all fours, as I imagine it'd be either quite difficult or annoying to do.
Compiling a central image with all the pieces of Ridley together would help a lot, although, I can't confirm that we will be using this Ridley as of yet, as I would need further provisions from the other team members in order to ensure it. Then again, a full compiled image of all the pieces you drew would help a hell of a lot in determining its future.

Should I just shove my pieces of drawing together? I can't imagine that would look very good, but if you think it'll help.

trunks2585 Wrote:not the first ridley, more like super metroid ridley, him or metroid prime's meta ridley, those are the images i think most think of when they picture him.
