Bio: Growing up as a spacer, Madeline got used to moving around. Even though her father would have preferred that she not follow in her mother's footsteps and just find a nice planet and a husband (or wife) to have a nice stable life together with... the idea of staying one place for extended periods of time just didn't sit right with her. So after saving up a bunch of money she'd earned over the years doing various odd jobs on the planets and stations they visited, and taking a loan from her mother for just this occasion, Madeline set off into the depths of space with her own Starrunner, as her mother liked to call them. She was sure with her charm, reflexes, and intelligence that in no time at all she'd be making a name for herself~!

It was time, to start your life as a Frontier runner, there was plenty of things to do on the edge of civilized space. You just needed to figure out what you wanted to do, you could go and try and pick up crew from one of the local planets or Stations, you were in the "Edge" system after all, the major hyperlane system that went from the edges of known space to the galaxy core Some places like Edge 1 and Topia Station were on the high rise side, while Edge 7 and Stryx Station were places that you were sure could be considered cruel and unusual to live on. You could try and look for a Job. Or you could split off on your own, going around the Rim of known space to a less populated system, or even just follow hyperlanes blindly into unknown space to see what you found. Or maybe just go get drunk listening to rumors as you celebrated owning your own Starrunner?

So many options. So many possibilities! While the idea of trying to collect some crew sounded nice... She didn't have alot of funds with her at the moment. Enough to basically handle things for herself for a month unless she was jumping systems every other day. No, first she needed to find some jobs. So after accessing the local solar net for the area, she put up a posting that she was a new captain in the area up for just about any job. Sure, moments after she did that she was also trying to look for job requests out there already, but didn't hurt to put her name out there first if she didn't find anything immediately appealing.

While getting your name out there might have sounded good, and you'd gotten literally thousands of replies in minutes, you very quickly realized, over half of them were marriage requests, and about nine tenths of the remaining seemed to be requests to give you bastards, and the last ones while actual jobs, were trying to shortchange you. Browsing the local net nothing really stood out, but you did see some key words that you knew to mean less than legal Job listings in a few chat rooms and job forums, mostly they seemed to be minor smuggling jobs taking contraband to various places in unknown space, you knew a few names, "Adraz Prime" was supposed to be a tribal level world, so landing was illegal there, odd someone wanted you to take a package to that planet, "Ydrit" was from what you knew, a moon with an atmosphere and was a jungle, the native population was a slug race, that was highly sexual, and you were pretty sure that job was transporting illegal aphrodisiacs? You didn't know what "Dar-Mana" was but the words you picked up you were sure it was transporting illegal weapons.

"Never was a fan of slugs..." Madeline said after clearing all those messages. More than a few of which had dick pics. A few didn't actually look that bad... and there was one she briefly started drooling over before her ship's system disabled the hypnotic suggestion embedded in the pic. She was left blushing a fair bit and feeling a tad horny, damnit. But as she looked at those more... under the radar kind of jobs... She decided she'd look into the Dar-Mana and Adraz Prime ones. Curiosity for both of them getting the better of her.

Dar-Manda you could only get more info on if you accepted it apparently, while Adraz Prime, seemed, simple if odd, take the package, to certain coordinates on the planet, drop them off, leave. Don't question it, don't stay around, just, leave once you drop the package off as soon as you could. It was offering a bonus for speed.

Adraz Prime seemed rather shady, but so did the Dar-Manda one. But both had her feeling rather curious. In the end, she pulled out a good luck charm her mother gave her when she set off. An older style credit coin before things had fully finished switching over purely to virtual currencies. Humming, she flipped it, then caught it and slapped it on her palm. "Dar-Manda it is then~" She said as she sought to make contact for the job.
