Hey Jondude, I think that in a previous post I had Scarlet unlock everyone's chains if they still had them unless I missed something where Taria said she didn't or if Nova refused.

Hmm, well Taria definitely didn't mention it. I can find when you gave Crake the key but I can't find anything about chains being unlocked. Nova definitely wouldn't have refused though. Can you maybe point it out? I might just be blind but I can't seem to find it.

It's in my 3rd to last post in the second half of the first paragraph, Scarlet mentions she had remembered she had the key and then "unlock her cuffs and does the same for any that were still on Vale or Nova." After that she hands it to Crake, though I wrote Mitch but Taria had her give it to Crake. I didn't bother mentioning it because I didn't think it really mattered which of the two was given the key.

I'm back, I hope everyone had a good weekend. I did lots of driving but it was still a fun time.

Sorry about the lack of posts on my part. Been unexpectedly swamped with work. I'll try to get in a post here and there as I can!

No worries. Can always wind up if it lines up being the one to come down and save us. Or chide us for letting ourselves wind up playing with some warp creature lol

I like to wait for at least three separate posts before I reply, and if someone’s character isn’t part of that then Narratively they are just doing stuff in the background away from where the main story is currently happening. So feel free to jump in at any time.

It's all good. Vale is making pancakes with Crake. Gotta get past that awkward shotgun kicking somehow.

Jokes aside, I was wondering how we actually get dice back or earn more dice? I know we can recover our dice by resting from earlier, but I managed to earn a 4th physical die at the beginning, which was cool and very lucky for me. Now though it seems like most bids will just break even at best? Not sure if I'm missing something again.

You recover by resting, yes. The key with bidding is that no matter how many dice you throw, one success means things will go in your favor to some extent, so if you have a lot to use you can ensure you get what you want out of a situation if you take the risk. However, if you choose to make a bid and all the dice fail, you’re probably going to face some kind of consequence, extra unlucky for nat 1s. You only “use up” the dice that fail the roll so you never lose anything if you only succeed, but you’re going to have a smaller and smaller pool to draw from eventually and you might even lose so many you can’t effectively try to stop threats.

Tl;dr: if you’ve got a big pool (like your physical 4 + bloodlust when applicable) you can risk it all to really throw your weight around and probably get what you want. But, if you just try and play safe (or you just no longer have an advantage) trying and failing might end up wearing you down worse than saving your energy or accepting fate.

Also also, getting cursed dice can make you more powerful (more dice that you can apply more flexibly) but they also threaten your character’s survival. Too many and you turn to something else.

Now, as far as actual changes to your total pool, obviously suffering bad stuff will get you curses and threaten to weaken you. But alternatively, heroic feats and overcoming significant challenges can just straight up make you stronger. That’s why when you made the insane decision to wrestle a car destroying shark and won! You got some buffness. But it came with a little drawback because it felt more like luck than something you earned narratively (it was still cool though)

There may be some way to cure yourself of some curses if you guys are willing to work hard enough and invest in undoing the warp that’s been done to you, but maybe you might like the power from some of these changes

Just curious, I know the main fetish theme here is supposed to be transformation but is there anything you'd us to avoid in particular? I'm pretty open to most things that don't involve male x male typically, and am a big fan belly bulges, penetrations that don't make realistic sense(Like what we just did really), and fast acting pregnancy stuff while hilariously hate the concept of loose/gaping holes. But Soru I know isn't a fan of preg so I'll try to avoid that for here.

Anything that bothers me personally? Not really. In generally assume if someone’s not into something they’ll just try to avoid it kinda like how Scarlett was. There’s not a lot that bothers me but if we somehow come across it I’ll probably just not engage with it too,
