The two blink at you as you sit down, both giving you confused looks as they don't seem to recognize you. Not that you would have expected them to, though it might have been nice if the magic had handled that part of things too. Would have at least made things less annoying. I had to hold back a sigh, of course I would actually have to explain it to them. Well, better get used to explaining it to everyone who knows me. "It's me, Samuel. I got turned into a girl last night. I'm looking into getting turned back, but it's apparently going to take a while." I turned to Michael. "That's the reason I texted you this morning. I wasn't going to walk into class with this body in my own clothes. I also had to have a chat with the Principal so our teachers don't kick me out of class for not being a student or something."

I watched as they seemed to contemplate what I said before something flashed across their eyes, and they just seemed to accept it without further pushing. I guess it was helpful that I didn't need to struggle with every person to make them accept what happened, but I seriously wished people didn't just think I did this on purpose when that was the exact opposite of what I said. Having that confusion with the Principal was one thing, but hearing it from my best friend was quite another, and I couldn't keep myself from protesting. "What are you talking about? I just said I'm going to turn back as soon as I can. Why would you think I wanted this?" I also had to wonder if his thinking I wasn't very masculine were his own thoughts or something the spell put in to help rationalize this.

I shivered as Hanna complimented my look. "Th-thanks?" With all of the attention I was getting, perhaps I should have picked something a little less figure hugging.

Michael just gave ya a confused look as he asked, "Why would ya transform yourself into a girl if you were planning on changing back? Seems a bit redundant to me." Hannah just giggled and said, "She's probably just feeling a bit embarrassed about it is all. I sighed as it became clear Michael completely forgot I had told him this wasn't intentional. With how things were going, it wasn't worth arguing lest the magic make him think something even stupider. I shivered at Hannah's interest. I had certainly had an interest in her before, but it was pretty uncomfortable knowing she'd never been interested in me until I turned into a woman. Hopefully, she'd keep such interest once I turned myself into my ideal male self.

With the food arriving, I decided to just eat quietly before I had to return to class and deal with more people assuming I did this on purpose.

Michael and Hannah engage in small talk a bit as the three of you eat, though every so often one or both of them send a playful, teasing, or even flirty comment your way. I try to ignore the comments, especially those from Michael. It was just so strange getting all of this attention now that I wasn't me anymore. Feeling a hand, I was feeling rather worried that it might be Michael's, but a quick look revealed it was Hannah. I jumped when Michael asked about my name. I figured I wanted to keep things as normal as possible, so I wasn't going with Samantha or making up a name. "Just Sam will do."

He didn't look as sure about that, but shrugged and accepted it all the same as the three of you worked your way through your food. Every so often, Hannah's hand would wander again and tease you.
