"I think we should be okay. We don't have to go very far and we can just follow the road back, unlike the awkward path through the wilds we took to find this place.", Leena says before pausing a moment a swinging her hips from side to side a touch to make sure the brahmin behind her had its eyes on the prize so to speak after getting distracted by something or other. "We should be able to make it in less then an hour as long as walk a little faster then we normally would.", she adds, before taking a big bite of the roasted lizard you gave her. Tessa and Edy agree, and so without further delays you all head out back to the town and eat some well earned food. You hope nothing happens along that short way, and the odds are small, but you do your best to be vigilant regardless.

Luckily however you manage to get back to town without issue or delay, the brahmin happily plodding along behind as they follow the nice female butts in front of them. By the time you get there though its starting to get rather dark, the last vestiges of light beginning to fade. To your delight it feels like your natural night vision is better in general, so thats awesome, though its definitely not exactly night vision goggle quality eyesight. Entering town you near the initial sight were the ambush happened and the bulk of the caravan had woken up and find Sebastian leaning against a building as a lookout. She's still topless and has her cosmic knife, but otherwise has nothing else. "Oh thank goodness your back! And with the goods to boot!", she says when you come around a corner with the brahmin in tow. "Devin will be thrilled. Come on follow me. We've set up in the old fire hall not far from here. Figured we could keep the brahmin in the garage if you managed to get them.", she explains. A moment later she notices that you now have an additional member. Interestingly her eyes seem to widen in apparant recognition for a moment, but then the black and white furred canine girl blushes. "Oh! Uh... who's this?", she says, trying to play it off. "I'm... name's Edy.", Your regular human looking companion says, clearly a little confused by Sebastian's behaviour.

Inventory update took a bit with the pile of stuff you got. Also got really caught up in setting value to things and was thinking waaay to hard about it for some reason. Also just to be sure, I imagine your not a big fan of lactation stuff right?

"Then let's keep up the pace then; could really use some rest after all of this." Joy said before noticing how Leena shakes her hips to keep the brahmin's attention on her. Deciding that is probably something she needed to keep up as well every once in a while whenever she felt her brahmin was not paying attention she would sway her round rear and short tail at the beast to keep it interested in following her. These creatures really are simple, she thought.

The walk back was uneventful, the best kind of outcome really as Joy didn't really have the time or energy to deal with distractions. While it was starting to get rather dark Joy's nee canine eyes gave her some sort of night vision; not as good as night vision goggles but she isn't complaining at all. Soon they find Sebastian who is waiting for them and she notices how they act when they notice Edy but decides not to say anything about it for now. "Yeah, we found them in a Viper Ganger hideout. Took them out and looted what we could including their clothes; should be able to make something out of them till we get to a town." She said as she helps herd the brahmin into the garage Sebastian mentioned. "Did you guys manage to find anything in this town?" Joy asked as they lead the pack brahmin.

Oh well then! Well we'll do something with that at some point then. And no worries on the Inventory. I have a decent way of measuring worth of stuff thats pretty easy, most of the time anyway. When its not stuff might be valued with arbitrary numbers though. It might not always be consistent but either way Joy will make money so all is well.

"Really? Well damn, good work!", Sebastian says, clearly thrilled by the prospect of some extra goods. "Guess we don't have to worry about getting jumped by the bastards tomorrow then either if you already took care of them."", she adds in. When you ask her if they've managed to find stuff in town Sebastian just sighs and shrugs before raising her hand and shaking it in a sort of 'meh' gesture. "I mean some stuff. None of it really exactly good though. Best things we've found are probably a few aluminum baseball bats, one old .38 revolver with a box of bullets hidden in some secret compartment of an old nightstand, a few decent kitchen knives, a pipe wrench, some pans... Clothing wise not very much better then what Tessa managed to make. One person actually found a sealed package with some nice lingerie in it, but she refuses to open it. Apparently its worth a lot. So... mostly rag loin clothes and nudity still. There are a few places we've just passed over checking though. It seems a lot of basements are occupied by other clusters of bugs. Apparently someone also discovered a decent sized group of feral ghouls in all old townhouse, but managed to slip away on unnoticed thankfully. Its further into the east side of town though so it shouldn't be a problem as long as we don't go over there.", Sebastian explains as she begins to lead you back to the old fire hall.

It only takes another five minutes to get there thankfully, the three story building standing taller then most others in the town. Still its a bit of tense five minutes as with the disappearing sun comes shapes flitting about in the shadows and emerging from dark holes. They appear to be more roaches and bloat flies, and a couple even follow you, but don't attack. Soon you get to the fire hall, one of the garage doors already open with two anthro canine men standing guard with metal bats in their hands. They quickly wave you in, quite happy to see you, then close the garage door behind you. It screeches loudly on unoiled rails, making a bit of a racket, but better the door be closed then open. You find yourself standing in a empty bay with ample room for the brahmin to walk around, though the bay next you is occupied with a rusted out hulk of a fire truck.

"You're back!", You suddenly hear. You look up to see Devin trimmer standing on a gangway attached the walls of the office side of the building. We quickly comes down some stairs to the garage floor and approaches. "And you've found the brahmin and good to boot! And then some!", and he says, clearly ecstatic. You notice he's now wearing a crude scrap cloth loin cloth much like Tessa is still wearing, though his hefty shaft still clearly pushes against it. "We'll start unloading and passing out whatever is useful. In the meantime we've managed to yank some tired old mattresses from nearby houses. We've set some aside for you three in a room. Oh. Edy is a little bemused by being recognized twice now by people she doesn't recognize at all, and just crosses her arms. Before she can say anything though Devin introduces himself. "Devin!?", she starts, clearly shocked with the revaluation.

"Great, more bugs and now some ghouls... I'm glad you all managed to avoid them because I don't think I can handle another fight today. And at least you guys found some things; enough to at least keep the bug away and get some scraps of cloth." She said after Sebastian explained what happened while they were gone. As they walk through the town towards the three story building the sun creates shifting shadows and Joy is tense as she sees them, knowing some are probably mutant bugs and she can't help but keep a hand near her pistol as she notices some of them following but thankfully not attacking. Once inside the garage Joy is able to relax and leads her brahmin to a spot to stay while the noisy garage door closes.

She then looks up as she heard Devin's voice boom from above and she sees the large canine man standing on a gangway before he quickly comes down to meet them. Joy has to avert her eyes upward to not stare at the bulge in his loincloth as he praises at what they found. He then addresses Edy and it's clear to her now that he and Sebastian both knew her. "Oh, so you guys know each other..." She said as she connects the dots. "Yeah... I was traveling with his caravan when we were attacked and abducted to be turned into canines... Apparently it was about a week ago when we were ambushed and only today put back here for whatever reason." She said before going to one of the brahmin to start unpacking. "Oh, we found the brahmin at a Viper Ganger Hideout. Took them out and took what we could, including their clothes; hopefully enough cloth to make something for everyone." Joy told Devin. "And thanks for preparing a room for us... I could use a good rest..."

"Well, uh... yeah. As the, um... doberlady says.", Devin says when you explain the gist of the situation. "Was running some goods to Orlando for trading. Mainly some decent luxury items. Soaps and coffee this time around. A fair bit of leathers but uh... probably going to take a loss on those. And some small arms and explosives. We were coming from Alaqua when we got hit right in this town on the main stretch heading through. Weird gas attack, then strange anthro folk in custom power armour suits. Next thing we know we woke up where we were attacked, naked, and a week has apparently gone by. Its a miracle we got any goods back, let alone most of it.", Devin tells Edy. Looks like Vault 52 strikes again.", the regular looking woman replies.

Ah yes, Vault 52. The supposed source of your attackers that had transformed you. You recall the conversation you had long ago when you had first met that feline woman who told you about them and the salvage opportunities around Orlando. That was a long time ago now, and that woman had clearly not been entirely truthful given that so far every other anthro folk you've met had been transformed by force. What the heck was going on around here you wonder? You could always talk more with Edy about it since she likely had a better idea then you did, but that could wait till the morning.

Speaking of resting though Devin is happy to give you some directions. "Anytime Joy. So far your turning out to be best random gunslinger I've hired for security yet, so good investment on my part! If you want to sleep we've a room set aside for you all upstairs on the second floor. First door on the right past the old kitchen thats there. Um. Maybe not a lot, but free water was included in your deal you recall.

That said your free to do as you please for the next little bit as other begin off loading the brahmin, and everyone begins to find what extra gear they had packed away should they have a little more then they could comfortably carry, which wasn't always the case. You hear Devin ask Edy why she's wearing her 'emergency clothes' and hear her explain her unfortunate little situation that led to her being captured by Viper Gangers for a few days and used as a sex slave more or less. Tessa and Leena meanwhile head upstairs and leaving the unpacking to everyone else.

Heading up the stairs you pass by a few others now wearing makeshift rag clothing heading down to help with the unpacking, many of whom thank you as you pass by for helping get their stuff back. Getting upstairs you head into the fire hall proper and see that some one must've found a bunch of candles and some matches or something somewhere though since there a few scattered around to provide some amount of lighting. The place is still very dim, but easy enough to navigate. Before heading to the room though Leena instead immediately goes to the kitchen and placing her new bag on the table. "You two get some rest. I'm going to try and make something this massive body can wear.", She says, and starts pulling out the metal armour she took from the Viper Ganger Boss. She also seems to have gotten some extra leather stitches and some a threading kit, and then promptly begins separating metal plates and trying to make something of it. You wish her the best, then head to the room Devin set aside for you.

You and Tessa both enter with a tired sigh. Its a simple room. Perhaps an old office with a single smashed out window with a couple boards over it, and a few scattered dirty mattresses. You were tired enough that it might as well be a hotel though, and promptly ditch your gear in the corner and collapse into one. With how tired and sore you are it was just perfect. Tessa claims one next you closer to the window, placing her SMG and few scattered magazines nearby. "Eh worst comes to worst someone gets a cuddle partner. At least we're all extra soft now right? heh.", Tessa replies to you with a short laugh, then closes her eyes. Ten seconds later and the girl is asleep, and you are not far behind.

Asleep you find your dreams rather active, and mostly dirty. Most of them are short lived, but situations change rapidly. A flare of curiosity hits you, but you suppose you could just try to sleep for a little if you wanted. However as you give yourself a once over you find yourself feeling remarkably good! Your still a little tender in some spots, but your bruises have faded dramatically!

Looking about for clues as to where your friends have gone and while you're not an expert tracker or anything you can manage well enough. Looking downward you see some large and relatively fresh paw prints that look they would probably belong to Leena in the thick dust of the floor, heading down the wall to your right and toward the stairs. There is also another set of smaller prints that are likely Tessa's to the left that go toward the door that lead to the garage. It did look rather relaxing and wouldn't mind spending some time here if they had to stay longer. One is illuminating the door by the stairs where you are, another at the bottom of the stairs, and a third behind the fire truck hulk somewhere the cast light over the brahmin in the empty bay, the big animals casting large shadows up the wall as the mill about. They appear to be on guard around the brahmin, sitting on the bumper of the fire truck.
