And Dusty's Castle is a solid adventure game so is a great model to copy.

Hope to hear from you!

Sure, go for it - all the assets should be in the .FLA on the first post

Indeed it's been a sad few months. I'd give up quite a few things to see Malicia's breeding finished or even just updated to take advantage of all the teased assets.

I couldn't agree less. He's kind of fallen from grace. All of his unfinished work is all but pieces of code left to rot. So we'd be unable to see the finished product like miniforce or like you said on your reply.

What I mean't to imply is. You've kind of went absent for long gaps of time. I know its covid but. You could maybe spare some time to work a tad to finish up anything before flash is gone by next year.

First off, the end of flash means jack shit since you can still use projectors to play everything just fine. Second off, Gore's always worked this way. Going off for a while and dropping whatever he feels like dropping is kinda his M.O. All someone bitching about finishing up prior projects does is cause him to shrug his shoulders and keep doing whatever the hell he likes. And this is pretty much the only thing you say around here, so shut the hell up already.

A whole lot of people have high requests for free content. Sad the amount of projects killed by viewer impatience and expectations

:) You know you I guess. Still have seen more than one dev making free find it easier to drop a game then put up with people's insane requests.

There ir a possibility that you can make in the time a Sakyubasu no Tatakai 3? SnT 2 must be one of the best Adult Strategy games ever made.

I don't thinks its possible. Since ruffle is like very new and still kind of imperfect as of now. But thankfully only older flash animations are still able to work. Its the newer flash animations that were made before the flash shutdown of last year that struggle being they were just very recent. But thankfully on certain browsers and applications could be used to replicate the processing of flash.

Quick update that I've finally released Part 1 of a point and click remake of Dusty's Castle
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/785070

It's got a few rooms and the first sex scene in the gallery. Assuming you're familiar with the original, I hope you'll appreciate that it's the same but different :)

I had wanted to do my own 3D renders for the remake, but a change in work means I can't do big NSFW renders anymore. So, I went with GoRepeat's suggestion to dive into the original SWF and extracted the original graphics from there. But, again, I'm unable to put in the amount of work it needs.

I'm using free Unity assets for the point-and-clickin engine and interaction and can keep on working on that side. But converting the original animations to Unity animations isn't really my thing, and I'm really limited in how much time I can spend doing adult animations and graphics.

So, if anyone out there wants to help see this project through to completion, let me know.

I'm happy to use brand new graphics if you're an artist interested in re-doing this in your own style. Or if you're a Unity whiz and can convert the originals into Unity 2D animations and package it all up for me, I can drop them into my project. Otherwise, I think this "Part 1" is as far as the remake is going to get working on my own. Sorry.

I've experienced dramatic flashbacks to the times I used to watch the development process of a game about the adventures of a certain red unwillingly wingless demon. So I decided to return here and see how things went on during the years I was doing anything else with my life. Glad to see that you are at the very least active and sometimes even make content. This might be sudden as shit, but you've been a great inspiration and I decided to work on my own project which is progressing extremely slow 'cause I am lazy as fuck. Anyway hope life is treating you well. Apologies for the sentimental bullshit.

My, man, you are absolutely correct. I remember checking back here every week just to see he'd updated Sakyubasu II had been updated. Even up to now, it remains one of my all-time favorite hentai games, if only because of the nostalgia. I actually still need to beat it, now that I think about it.....

All that said, even after he finished the game, I would occasionally check back here just to see what Gorepeat might have posted, even if it was just a few comments. No matter how little it was, I was generally happy enough just to see he was still around and engaging with his community. Which is unfortunate....given I checked today for the first time in months, and he hasn't been on since last October. I really hope he hasn't hit the road. It's selfish of me, but it just feels like this site will have lost something/someone irreplaceable if Gorepeat leaves.

I'll be honest. After returning here just to check up and what not. I feel like this place has in some manner gone completely defunct. Like people have rarely visited this thread and its silence is a strong indication of gorepreat's inactivity. Kind of like another artist whose work i liked. A guy named Doodlenooch who runs a blogger page. As of 2022. He hasn't been on the site for 5 years. And i feel like gorepeat might be in the same place as Doodlenooch. Both have been inactive for long periods of time with only rarely have people come online to simply check in on any progress, or out of concern for their artist suddenly disappearing from the web, never to be seen due to possibilities of a new alias to hide themselves or Stuff they are dealing with IRL. In any case. I'm here just to check in. And to MiscChaos while i am here. Hello and Goodbye.

Yeah, it's a bit sad, especially since Gorepeat's games were my first H-games so I've got quite a bit of nostalgia coming back here. I still check semi-regularly but mostly out of habit rather than hope. Still, I hope everything is going well for everyone o/

Quick update on my attempts at recreating Dusty's Castle. I've had to switch to a pure text-adventure style and have finally released version 0.1 of Dusty's Mansion on Newgrounds.
