Leave Out All The Rest: Chapter 1: Gone Away

Lilithania Loliata/Kitty
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Lilithania found herself standing in the midst of a powerful blizzard in nothing but her underwear, her skin so cold that it had become numb. All around her was nothing but snow as far as the eyes could see, which wasn't very far due to the intense blizzard. Suddenly a crack of thunder so loud that the ground beneath her shook violently erupted from the sky overhead. The thunder boomed twice more, then a massive, shadowy figure appeared before her in a flash of light, its size so immense that she couldn't even see its full form, however through the blizzard, she could make out its razor sharp fangs of ice and a vaguely canine shape. The creature bent its head towards her and roared even louder than the thunder, the creature's powerful voice kicking up snow and knocking Lilithania off her feet, and tumbling backwards, bouncing multiple times against the hard snow-covered ground.

The moment she had come to a stop in the snow, she was suddenly awake, sitting up in her own bed, in her own bedroom. Lilithania, after going about her usual morning routine of eating her breakfast, and getting showered and dressed, realizes that something is missing. She had seen her family's servants, and no objects seemed to be missing from her household, however it was not a thing, but a person that had not been present that morning.

Searching all across her home, she eventually discovers where her sister has been. Merely opening the door reveals the problem, as the room is completely filled with the strange fog that has been plaguing Lolistan. The thick black fog almost completely obscures vision, but Lilithania can hear her sister coughing heavily inside the room.

The swirling fog flashes as if lightning was flashing across them, from cloud to cloud, each flash a different color, from brilliant blue, to bright neon green, to deep dark red. The bright flashes make it hard for Lilithania to see, but luckily most people within Lolistan understand that the Fog can break out in any area, at any time, creating the necessity for individuals to always carry sunglasses with them at all times. After Lilithania puts on her sunglasses, she can more easily see into the room, which reveals the silhouette of her sister, on her knees, coughing violently.

In a matter of moments, her sister curls up in pain, her body twisting and reforming, her spine growing larger as her bones force themselves out of her skin and then coats her body, creating an exoskeleton. Her mouth extends across each of her cheeks as her hair falls out, a bone fragment creating a strange antenna-like appendage on the side of her head, flat and white. One eye is sealed closed by the bone exoskeleton, while the other turns completely red. Excess bone forms a long white sword with red lines and swirls across it, while other sections of her exoskeleton turn black, such as sections on her legs, her abdomen, her chest, and her face and left arm. When the transformation is finished, the creature that was once Lilithania's sister growls, and points its sword at Lilithania, before dashing towards her at incredible speed, screeching like a bat.

Galatea Lowell/Misc
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Galatea had spent the entire day with her wife Lily, and somehow everything had turned out perfectly. All three restaurants that they had eaten at that day had forgotten to charge them, which saved them Lolicoin, and the third restaurant had accidentally given them a free desert that they never ordered. After they had finished with all of their other plans for the day, they had ended up at the "Gaztor" Amusement Park. The Gaztor Amusement Park was built inside a massive building with walls that had rainbow-colored electric graphics playing across them. Inside, the park had a sturdy transparent floor with colorful water beneath, which had many exotic fish swimming beneath it, their gills reflecting the lights on the ceiling which were shaped like jellyfish and switched colors in a constant gradient. The women that worked the amusement park were dressed in leather shorts and crop tops that reflected the colors on the ceiling, making them seem as though they changed colors with the lighting.

All over the amusement park were booths with different park games to play, each of which changed weekly so that they never grew stale. Likewise, all of the amusement park's rides, aside from the Farris Wheel, were switched out weekly so that each person who visited the park would have a new and exciting experience. The women running the booth were cheerfully calling out to the passing people to try their luck and skill at the various games.

The park also had its own Theaters, which played movies developed by the park, for the park itself, which made the park theaters unique experiences from other theaters. Aside from movies, the theaters also put on plays and hosted game shows. The women outside of the theaters were calling out the movies and plays being shown to the various park patrons, in hopes of getting more people into the upcoming showings.

The park itself used so much power than along the transparent paths, the park had black Energy Spires set up, launching green streams of electricity to large black spires ontop of each building inside the massive park structure, which transferred the energy throughout the rest of the building.

Just as Galatea and Lily were considering heading back home, due to how late it was getting, nearing 1AM in the morning, Lily started to cough violently, and the other park patrons throughout the area started to panic and flee. Galatea would soon realize that massive plumes of black fog were filling the area, blocking out the jellyfish-shaped lights, but flashing various shades of various colors, lighting up the area with an obnoxious cacophony that blinded Galatea until she put on her sunglasses so that she could see. What she was met with was the sight of Lily doubling over in pain as her body twisted and bent in strange angles as the fog did its work, transforming her gradually into a horrifying monster. When the transformation was complete, her eyes glowed red and she quickly climbed onto a nearby game booth that the owner had fled from, climbing the wall on all fours as if it were a normal floor, before staring at Galatea from the roof of the booth and screeching at her like a banshee. Lily's skin had become sickly pale, her hair had become disheveled, her limbs had become twisted like human spider-like limbs, she had grown a disgusting black thorax, mandibles grew from her face, and her eyes were glowing red, and seemed to pierce right through Galatea's very soul.

Gwendolyn Datchery/Blue
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Gwen had spent the day, from the early morning, to the late night, guarding an old man by the name of Grundelplith Moizoos. The old man had a clean-shaven face, long gray hair with pink streaks that reached down to his lower back, and dressed in a tight black crop top, a black leather jacket with flame designs up the sleeves and along the bottom edges of the jacket, tight leather pants with a silver-studded belt, and leather shoes with a red sole and red toe. The man was also very rude, referring to nobody as Brother or Sister, as was standard manners for those in Lolistan, instead referring to them as "Duder" and "Rax", not even using names in conjunction. If asked why he used those terms and what they're supposed to mean, the others who worked for the man merely shrugged. When asked what the man's job was, and what he needed so many people to work for him to accomplish, he merely told Gwen that he couldn't tell her. All Gwen had to do was follow Grundelplith, who was called "Big G" for short, around while he hung around in his house. Big G had hired Gwen at oddly specific times, a number of other times, but he still gave no hint of what he did for work. What made the man even stranger was that he lived in a mansion, a very expensive-looking one.

The exterior of the mansion was constructed to look like most other structures in Lolistan, with a mostly black exterior, bright green lights pouring from the crevasses of the structure, an obelisk attached to one of the higher points, though from the base Gwen couldn't see the top, and lots of of spikes about the structure.

The mansion was so many stories tall that Gwen had never actually been to every floor, and each floor that she had been to seemed to act as a completely separate mansion, with radically different designs. The bottom floor had an absurdly soft pink and black striped floor, walls with neon flashing cat designs across all of the walls, each flash switching the color of the cat designs back and forth from pink and sky blue. In the dead center of that floor was a massive fish tank, with exotic fish swimming around in it. The fish tank's interior was decorated with sea sponges and coral patterns in the shape of yet more cats, as well as an underwater statue of a sunken ship that gradually transitioned into a castle on the other side. Every corner of every room was decorated with lava lamp-like objects that connected to the floor and ceiling like pillars.

The floor above that had a hardwood floor with neon flashing blocks that shifted between a variety of colors randomly, while the walls were mirrors that reflected these colors, making them appear as if they, too, were designed the same way as the floor.

The floor that Gwen and Big G spent the most time on, however, was a floor that was made from soft material that was designed to look like cobblestone, as if the entire floor was designed to look like the interior of a gothic castle, while maintaining the modern comfort of Lolistan. To go along with the design of the floors, ceiling, and walls, the beds, of which there were many, were designed to resemble straw while actually being a modern mattress, and the electronics were designed to look like gothic objects, such as a stage for a play for the television, or a roll of parchment for the radio, or an old stone oven for the actual oven.

After having spent the day with Big G as he watched all of his "help" work about his home, and spoke with people over the communications system on his wrist, Gwen was free to return home with her pay from Big G, with him telling her that he'd call her again when he needed her.

When Gwen returns home, she is hit with a heavy feeling that something has gone horribly wrong. A deep sense of dread permeates her entire body so heavily that it feels like she's in a horror movie. At that same moment, she can see the dreaded fog expanding from the living room, quickly enveloping the room Gwen was in, before filling the entire house and pouring out the front door. The clouds of fog then begin flashing in various bright colors, forcing Gwen to put her sunglasses on, lest she be blinded. After being completely enveloped, she begins to hear Aila coughing and sputtering as she stumbles from the living room and into view, at which point she begins vomiting thick black liquid that twists and shifts, wrapping around her arms and mid-section like a rope, before forming a tarry black ghost-like creature, with a net-like body and skull-like face, as well as glowing purple eyes. As the creature formed itself, Aila's hair grew down past her shoulders, her skin became ghostly pail, and her eyes and mouth slowly stitched themselves shut. The tar-like creature then connected strands of its body to Aila's back, before turning to Gwen and releasing a ghostly wail that caused the various framed pictures throughout her house to shatter, covering the floor with glass.

Audina Falcone/Blah
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Audina had been spending the day doing her shift at the "Dessedge" clothing store. It was a large, black structure, with a green glow from the windows, and from the crevasses between the black blocks that formed its exterior. At each corner of the building was a tall black tower, with the usual spikes all around the top of each tower and the square-shaped roof of the main building. On the inside, the floor was checkered black and glowing green tiling, while the walls were black, covered with glowing art of individuals in tight leather clothing, wearing an excess of belts. The different sections of the store were separated by gender, and by article, with men's tops, women's tops, men's pants, women's pants, belts, and jackets. Impressively, Dressedge boasted the absolute largest collection of belts in Lolistan, and looking at their collection of belts, it was hard to argue against that claim. In fact, the belt section was also the best-maintained, having an employee specifically ordered to work in that section, while the other employees merely kept an eye on every other section, cycling through them.

The day had gone pretty normal for Audina, she had been stocking shelves that day, and just like usual, her boss had sought her out to let her know when it was her lunch break, and once again when her shift was over. Her boss was a tall man, with black hair down to his shoulders, bright green eyes, and fair skin. That day, he had been wearing a black leather jacket with a green stripe down each sleeve, over a black button-up, with black leather pants, and black leather shoes with a green line along each side. He usually treated Audina well, but tended to be fairly distant, only speaking with someone in a professional way, while maintaining good manners, never forgetting to refer to them as brother or sister before their name. As Audina was leaving, he reminded her to pick up her paycheck, and what the schedule was for the next week.

Stepping outside, Audina could get a good look at the town square. The sidewalk was slightly raised from the road, due to being maid from black cubes rather than the usual cement that America used. The light that illuminated the roads at night was green, radiating from the tall black spires, similar but much smaller than the spires which generated energy for all of the buildings around Lolistan. While the Illumination Spires were on the side of the Side-Cubes closest to the buildings, the Power Spires were set in the middle of the square, and were usually set up in the middle of neighborhoods. The amount of energy that was generated from each Power Spire was so great that regardless of the energy needs of a single structure or group of structures, only one Spire was needed for each area, within a certain radius.

The streets at this time were fairly busy, however because vehicles hovered rather than drove across the black-cubed streets, at several different levels which could be set automatically by the driver, there was usually no traffic. The passing vehicles were usually dark-colored, with spikes on the spoilers, green-tinted windshields, and dynamic designs, with a green glow emanating from the bottom section of the vehicle, generated by the anti-gravity system.

Just beyond the street was the Central Tank. A massive fish tank that sat in the middle of the square, filled with exotic fish, including various types of squid long thought extinct. It was cube-shaped, and the tank was constructed from semi-transparent green material, which allowed those passing by to peer into the tank and enjoy watching the fish swim around inside. Those in the various stores that surrounded the square could also look through the windows during break to observe the fish.

Audina's trip back home was fairly short, due to living only roughly 15 minutes drive from the square. When she enters her house, through the front door, and attempts to close it back, the door remains open despite her best attempts to shut it. Soon, the black fog begins pouring into the house from seemingly nowhere, and quickly fills the house completely, the bright, many-colored flashes of light from the fog forces Audina to put her sunglasses on, to shield her eyes from the bright light. It was then that she could hear the high-pitched whining from Bitch in the next room, followed by a horrible, sickening cracking sound as she watched his shadow display his body physically rearranging itself into a new form. His fur falls out in clumps, while razor sharp bone-like protrusions rip out of his back, and his tail begins to extend, even more protrusions and a scorpion-like stinger ripping out of the flesh. When Bitch wanders into view, his fur is a sickly gray as if he had aged decades in an instant, a green glow emanates from his exposed rib cage and mouth, his claws had grown longer and sharper, his bony protrusions that she had seen grow from his body were black with a red gradient, and his eyes had become red, with a furious glow. He began growling at Audina when he saw her, his growl echoing strangely as if he was in a cavern.

Avery Valentine/Mark
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Avery and Angelica were in their house in Lolistan, where most days with no fights were spent. Avery had been training off and on for most of the day, while Angelica had spent most of her time making phone calls, and tapping at her computer. Computers in Lolistan were more advanced, being a collapsible keyboard, with a collapsible mouse attachment. The keyboard would generate the semi-transparent green screen. Angelica had been working at setting up another fight for Avery for several hours, however the soonest fight that she could set up was a month away. Avery had already had several fights in Lolistan, however as she was, they had not considered her very impressive, as most fighters in Lolistan were far tougher than in America, which was keeping Avery very low on the card thus far.

Angelica seemed to be realizing how difficult it is to make it in the Loli-FAG(Lolistan Fighters Arena Guild), after having been fighting in a much lower tier League for so long, as she was starting to look very frustrated at this point. Suddenly the room seemed to grow very dark, and Angelica started to cough. At that moment, the darkness seemed to thicken and grow into dark black clouds, which then began flashing with bright colors, each one alternating and rumbling with all of the colors on the spectrum. The bright flashes soon forced Avery to don her sunglasses just to be able to see, but when she does, she would likely wish she hadn't.

Angelica's body was slowly squirming and shifting, as she writhed in agony. Soon, her skin started to turn brown, and her neck extended, while her body slowly and disgustingly morphed into a mass eyeballs and tentacles. Her head soon morphed into a strange black shell with a face on the bottom and black wings on the side, then the tentacles grew numerous snake-like tongues, which then extended from beneath the mass of eyeballs. Gone was the pair of boobs that was Angelica, and in her place, was a strange eyeball and tentacle abomination. The creature turned to face Avery and let out a horrifying scream as it began to approach her by way of hovering.

Re: Leave Out All The Rest(IC)

Postby MiscChaos » Mon May 11, 2020 9:00 pm

Galatea isn’t sure why Lily suddenly demanded a day out, but she sure isn’t complaining. It’s not like it was completely unlike her wife to suddenly gain an overwhelming amount of confidence and declare she wanted something and wanted it now. True, it mostly tended to happen in the bedroom, but it’s nice to see Lily branching out. So when she made the demand, she went along with it without hesitation to encourage it. She doesn’t have any requests today, nothing major seems to be going on with the company, and all the workers are so far accounted for and working hard. There really just wasn’t a reason to refuse without being an asshole. While she might be an asshole to a fair few number of people, her wife would never be one of them. So she went along with it.

Of course, it wouldn’t be Lily if she had these things figured out before she brought it up, so they spent a bit of time walking around, observing the city while Galatea pretended not to notice Lily frantically looking up things to do on her phone. They just so happened to pass by a café specializing in breakfast, so when she pointed it out, Lily jumped on it like a lifeline. She really isn’t sure how much her wife actually tasted the (admittedly delicious as fuck) food given she spent most of the time they were in the café plotting the day out. She really should’ve made sure Lily savored her cheese and egg crepe… Too late now! She’s not sure if the staff took pity on them or what, but it’s only after they walk out that she notices they never brought her the bill. And it’s not like she bolted, she waited after she was done for about 20 minutes while Lily figured things out. Oh well. The next place Lily drags her to is back to the house so they can hop in the car. She makes a huge production of only giving Galatea directions because “Gally, it ruins the surprise if I let you know where we’re going!” so she has to drive blind. It ends up being an arcade Lily leads them to. While not Galatea’s forte seeing as she never had a chance to play those growing up, she knows half the reason Lily was looking so hard was trying to find something the both of them would enjoy, so she decides to give it the benefit of the doubt. She is surprised Lily has the courage to go into this place. The neighborhood it lies in isn’t…. Well, it isn’t somewhere Galatea would expect to find Lily. She sticks close to her wife because she doesn’t like the look some of the men around here are giving her. Like they haven’t seen a female before and would like to violate this one before she gets away. A glare is enough to convince most of them it isn’t worth it, but she ends up losing quite a few games because she notices some asshole getting bold and making a move. Then she had to break fingers without Lily noticing and ruining the outing. On the bright side, Lily just interpreted her doing poorly as still figuring the games out so she didn’t think much of it. Still, Galatea couldn’t hustle the two out of there fast enough. “Gala, dear, you should have removed an arm. Make a clear example of one of them and the others will back down like the cowards they are.” And that would be Loveless chipping in. While she knows her weapon, currently a bracelet on her right wrist, is right, hiding that from Lily would be far more troublesome.

After that small disaster, they move on to lunch. A small burger joint Galatea’s familiar with because she did a few jobs for the owner back before she had a company. She can see the wall she repaired when a fight between a Mist Hunter and a Creature got out of hand. Of course, she can spot it because she did the work. Pretty much no one else would be able to tell it was ever broken. And there’s the lighting system she put up a few months later when another Creature fried the energy grid and blew the lights. Because Lolistan’s insurance agencies aren’t great, the owner had to offer her rates far less than her usual because most of the money was going back to getting the restaurant up and running. She waved it off at the time because she truly didn’t need much and this was shortly before she got Loveless, so her depression was close to suicidal, but it made the owner feel indebted to her. Enough so that whenever she visits, he “conveniently” forgets to charge her for her meal. He isn’t one of the people she’s an asshole to, so she doesn’t take advantage of it often, but damn if he ain’t got the best burgers in the country!

Afterwards, they hop in the car again and Galatea has to sit through another round of “Don’t spoil the surprise, Gally!” before they end up in front of… the name tag says “Gaztor Amusement Park”? Having never been to one, Galatea isn’t sure what to make of the extravagance of it all. Well, there is one thing she approves of. Vehemently. ‘You’re a married woman, Galatea. You’re a married woman.’ Goes off like a chain in her head when she sees the scantily clad woman reflecting the lights of the place. From the way Lily smirks at her, she doesn’t think she’s hiding her attraction all that well. She also thinks that’s one of the reasons Lily dragged her here and that her wife is OK with that, so she feels a lot less guilty over it. She still has to remind herself to look, but not touch though. She doesn’t think Lily would be alright with that. After a few silly games like the ring toss and pin the dick in the ho (on some side street, sealed off so no kid would wander into it), she dragged Lily into the Ferris Wheel. It isn’t the ideal place to get away from prying eyes, but if they’re subtle enough about it, it’ll do. Given the smirk the attendant gave them when the ride was over, she doesn’t think they fooled her for a second. Then again, she must see that happen like 50 times a day so it’d shock her if they did. Still, the diversion does wonders for keeping Galatea’s libido in check and she only has to drag Lily somewhere private like 2 more times. She’s fairly sure the theater she pulled Lily into was full of couples doing the same thing, so they probably could’ve gotten away with not being quiet there. Between fucking like rabbits whenever the sights overwhelm Galatea, there’s so much shit to do here that Galatea is shocked when it’s 1 in the morning and Lily’s head is resting on her shoulder in the latest theater they found themselves in because her wife is starting to run out of steam.

When Lily coughs a bit, she pays it no mind. Maybe some of the vendor food got stuck in her throat or something. When the coughing becomes violent, she grows worried and looks to check on her. When she sees the black fog surrounding the area, her heart sinks into her shoes. “No. Nononono.” She whimpers, her voice barely audible, trying her hardest to deny the reality happening in front of her. “Honey, I’m sorry, but you really need to prepare yourself.” She hears Loveless say, hearing the misery in it even as she spells out what needs to be done. Pulling her sunglasses down and morphing Loveless into its ringblade form. Still, even with the glasses on, everything seems blurry. Which isn’t right, so something else must be going wrong. You know, besides the love of her life being horrifically transformed right in front of her. ‘Gala, I know it hurts, sweetie, but you need to stop crying. The shaking could throw off your aim. We don’t want Lily to suffer any more than she has to and I don’t want her hurting you.’ Ah, that’d be it. That’d also explain why she can’t breathe out of her nose. By the time she establishes some slight semblance of control, mostly by shoving everything into a box to deal with at a much later point (‘That’s not healthy, sweetie.’ she hears Loveless say, but she can’t really bring herself to care when the main component of her entire life is crumbling down), Lily’s transformation is complete. And it looks nothing like the woman she loves with all her soul. Which she supposes is a small blessing. Hurting something that actually looked like Lily would be damn near impossible. ‘Target Jorogumo stands in front of you. Prepare for combat, Gala.’ Loveless always did know what to do. By giving the creature in front of her a new name, it makes it even easier to think of this as something else entirely. Of course, that’s very difficult to do when she can see the wedding ring choker still around the Creature’s throat. With another sob, she hefts Loveless up, prepared to strike down the being before her before it does anything the woman she remembers would regret. “I’m so sorry.” She chokes out through another sob before she shuts down entirely to do what she has to do. Just as she has her entire life.

The battle nobody wanted
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The creature wasted no time screeching once more, before leaping off the structure that it was standing on, towards Galatea. The creature fires a web from its abdomen, then uses it to swing towards Galatea, before intentionally breaking the webbing with a spin, and using the momentum to take a swing at Galatea with both arms at once. Despite the creature’s mildly surprising speed and agility, the attack was so straight-forward and predictable that Galatea would have no trouble parrying the attack, however when the attack hits, it feels like she was blocking a speeding hover vehicle with her weapon. The moment the hit makes contact with the weapon, another figure appears behind the creature. Despite having never seen the figure before, it would appear vaguely familiar to Galatea. It was semi-transparent, and shimmered with a dim blue light. She had purple hair down to her feet, purple eyes, and was wearing a pair of knee-high white boots, a white skirt, and a blue top with a purple cloth down the front and back, gold shoulder pads, and tan gloves. On her head was a golden circlet. She raised a fist and with a shout of “ORA!” she punches the creature in the back, its fist phasing through the creature’s body, but causing it to screech in pain.

Galatea can see the pathing of the attack. It’s in midair for crying out loud! Sure it uses the webbing to change the angle, but there’s only so much you can do in the air. And she still almost doesn’t get her weapon up in time. The fact that her wife is in there makes her reluctant to bring her full might to bear. She hears an annoyed sigh in her head and then her arms are in position to block the strike anyway, even if it feels more like she blocked a runaway vehicle than a blow. “If you’re going to throw your life away, I’ll slit your throat myself when we’re done here. But we’re not leaving this abomination free to roam the streets. We love Lily too much to allow that.” She knows Loveless isn’t playing around with her threat either. Tough love is very much her style after all. She also knows Loveless would essentially puppet her if need be to make sure the fight goes their way and would take every second she had to do so out of her hide later. So she really should get her head in the game, if for no other reason than Lily would do the same for her if the tables were turned. Behind the Mist Creature, she spots a familiar stranger… ghost thing. At least she thinks familiar stranger is how you describe someone you’ve never seen, but could somehow recognize. Well, it seems to be on her side since it’s attacking the Creature so she’ll leave the complex shit for another day. Using the momentum of the blocked attack, she spins around and unleashes a slash of her own, as if she’s trying to cut the thing in half. She kinda does. She wants to kill the creature, but she wants it to suffer as little as possible just in case Lily is still in there.

The attack cleaves partway into the creature’s body, causing black liquid to spray out into the air, some of it soaking Galatea’s clothes. The creature screams like a banshee, then performs a backflip, landing a few feet in front of Galatea, before scurrying in a full circle around her. After circling once more, the creature opens its mouth and fires off a glob of webbing, then darts to Galatea’s blind side and leaps at her, biting into her shoulder for only the briefest of moments, before leaping backwards away from her, in an attempt to escape. Instead of escaping, the strange ghost creature quickly moves into its path and throws another punch, shouting “ORA!” as it disrupts the creature’s momentum by phasing her fist into its body again, knocking it out of the air and onto the ground, causing the creature to shriek in frustration and pain. Meanwhile, Galatea can feel the poison flowing through her veins, causing her severe pain. Black liquid forces its way out of her throat and into her mouth, and begins running from her eyes, while her full body feels like hot magma is running through her veins.

The Jorogumo’s screams cut through her, making the creature’s pain feel like her own. She just really wishes she could forget that her wife is in this thing for more than five seconds! Given what she’s seen of this things abilities, if she could focus just on exterminating it, it wouldn’t last more than 5 seconds. Just a reminder of how her wife was absolutely not a combatant. An annoyed sigh tears through her as she bats away the webbing. That sigh turns into a sharp gasp as the thing bites into her. Just as she’s thinking of a joke about how her wife is kinky even as a monster, she feels the venom enter her veins. Well, bleeding some black shit out of her orifices isn’t something she expected to feel. She’s pretty sure she never wants to feel it again either. Especially since it’s followed by a lava chaser burning a route through her body. “This isn’t normal human crying, is it, dear?” She hears Loveless ask. For all her weapon is a motherly figure, she’s still utterly ignorant of humanity as a whole sometimes. Yeah, fuck this. She holds still for a while, focusing on expelling the venom from her body and trusts the spirit to keep the Creature at bay. She refuses to deal with this any longer than necessary.

The ghost-like creature moves side to side for a moment, then unleashes a flurry of blows, shouting “Ora” repeatedly with each punch, the blows causing the creature to screech each time, until it manages to break way, firing a web at the ceiling and using it to swing around, towards Galatea. As it swings, it once again twists to break the thread, then goes for a spinning kick, aimed at Galatea’s face. The attack is, once again, so straightforward that Galatea can guess where to parry the attack from and how. When Galatea does parry the strike, it feels like she had parried a falling anvil with her weapon.

With a sigh of relief, Galatea feels the venom leave her. Just in time to see the Creature break away from the spirit’s assault and move back to attack her. Just like before, it’s a midair attack, so straightforward to parry that it barely is worth mentioning. And she learned her lesson from last time about parrying the full force of the blow. The Creature, however, apparently hadn’t learned the dangers of giving her an easily parried move. Moving with the momentum of the blow, she wings around and slashes at the other side of the wound she made earlier. She wants the thing in two pieces right here and now before it can poison her again. She isn’t sure how much more of it she can stand.

The creature is cleaved in half, both halves flopping to the ground, with a loud splat, the black liquid it was bleeding splattering her clothes some more. After a moment, the creature slowly liquifies into a black puddle. All seems silent… until a skeletal black hand suddenly emerges from the puddle and grabs Galatea by the face, squeezing it painfully as the black liquid seems to squirm and crawl up the skeletal hand’s arm and fingers, burrowing into Galatea’s body through her skin, her eyes, her mouth, her ears, and being absorbed by it. The contact of the liquid on her skin feels like she’s having tar violently scrubbed into her with a cheese grater. When the puddle is gone, the skeletal hand then follows in the same way, until all of it is gone. For the next few moments, Galatea feels as though she’s going to violently throw up her internal organs, but the feeling VERY slowly subsides over the span of five minutes. From nearby, she can then hear a man’s voice from one of the nearby stands. It was a guy with white hair down to his shoulders, wearing a black jacket with a green lining, combat boots, black pants and a white T-shirt. His eyes were bright yellow, able to be seen through his blue-tinted sunglasses with blue lights along the sides, and he was wearing a pair of black headphones with green cushions. In his hand was a Coil Gun, a black gun with a red scope, yellow and green lights, and red cords running along it. “You shouldn’t let people see you do that, you know.” he says, lowering his gun, having been aiming it at the Aswang before it had been chopped in half by Galatea.

Galatea breathes heavily when she sees the thing cut in half. She knows it’s not her wife anymore, she knows it! But seeing what used to be her in pieces is still almost more than she can stand. “Not yet, dear. We need to get home first before you have that breakdown. You can cry in the shower so you can get cleaned up.” Loveless says, a soothing presence now that the battle is over. Converting her weapon back into a wristband, she prepares to go back to her car and practice her denial skills as hard as she can until she gets home when she’s attacked again. At least she thinks she’s attacked. All she sees is a black skeleton grab her face and then more pain than she took from the Jorogumo surges through her. It’s like the black gunk she bled out earlier is crawling right back into her with a vengeance! And it brought friends to throw a mosh pit on her organs. When she comes back into herself… well, it could be 5 minutes left, it could be hours later, she couldn’t tell. But when she comes back, she finds herself in the fetal position, clutching her core as she tries to deal with the pain. She can hear Loveless’s panicked shouting, but she can’t really bring herself to make sense of the words of concern being flung her way. “...incoming!” Is the first thing she can make sense of when it feels like the gunk has been cleared from her ears.Still suffering aftershocks from the outrageous pain, all she can do is pull herself into a proper sitting position to face whoever snuck up on her. Some asshole who was apparently coming to help in a battle she had under control. Still… “See me doing what? What the fuck was that!?” She says, though much quieter than she would have liked. She probably wasn’t quiet in her misery then.

He gets down from the booth’s desk and takes a few steps forward, through the fog. “Linking that Mist Creature. If people see you linking those creatures, they’ll know you’re a Chain, then the Buckets will want to dissect you. Probably to try to figure out what makes you a Chain, and start converting their operatives into them.” he says, coolly. “Don’t worry, I wouldn’t report you, but other people would do it for the reward money.” he says, with a hint of contempt towards the hypothetical snitches he was referring to. As he was speaking, the mist was beginning to lift around the area, revealing the completely empty amusement park. Noticing this, the guy lifts his sunglasses, hesitantly, several moments after the mist has completely cleared, squinting his eyes as he checks the surrounding area for more Mist Creatures.

Link? Chain? Her? Really? She couldn’t discover this ability on anything besides her transformed wife!? Right now in her numb state, the thought of being dissected doesn’t disturb her. Given how strong her urge is to have Loveless follow up on her threat (“Not happening, Gala”), she strongly suspects she wouldn’t mind death right now since it’d reunite her with her wife. But the feeling is distant, like she’s some academic studying a person’s emotions instead of actually experiencing them. She does keep it in mind, though. That and the fact that the Mist Hunters are apparently offering money for people like her. Which, really? How fucking stupid. Then something clicks. Does someone in the government know something about why this is going on? Is that why they’ll pay for Chains? Her suicidal depression switches for vengeful rage. She wants to know what the fuck is causing all this shit and destroy it and anyone even vaguely responsible. They took her wife from her, so she’ll take everything that matters from them! She doesn’t care if she dies in the process, just so long as no one else she cares about is ripped from her in such a manner ever again! First step is figuring out what this guy knows. “You seem to have some experience with this. You also don’t seem like you’re connected with the Buckets. What’s your angle?”

When Galatea asks what his angle is, the guy replies “I’m a Mist Hunter, I hunt the Mist Creatures for Loli-Coin, independently. In fact, since you just killed that Mist Creature, you should have some stuff transferred to your account.” he says, as he steps into reasonable speaking distance, so that they could lower their voices. At this point, he squints his eyes and looks Galatea up and down “Your gear is a bit… unorthodox, Sister. I suggest going to the Dressedge for some supplies.” he says, politely, motioning towards her clothes, then he slips the gun back into place on his back.

Independent Mist Hunters, huh? Illegal as fuck, but what the fuck does she care? She’s planning to raze Project OVER to the ground if she finds out they had a hand in what happened to Lily so it’s not like she’s a goody two shoes anyway. His being polite reminds her she’s being horribly rude… but she still can’t bring herself to care. And if Loveless hasn’t bothered to correct her, that means her weapon is willing to let that slide for right now. Still, she can’t help but to give a sharp bark of laughter that holds anything but amusement. “Trust me, I didn’t choose to get into Mist Hunting. That was my wife I just cut down. I just… I couldn’t stand the thought of her suffering like that or attacking anyone else. It would have killed her inside to hurt someone like that.” She says, choking on her tears as she thinks about it. She tries to get back to her emotionally numb state since Loveless thinks this isn’t the place. It’s a lot harder to do that when all she wants to do is burn the world to the ground. “Still, I’ll take the hunt. Dressedge, huh?” If she’s gonna be Mist Hunting and tracking down leads, she’ll need equipment that’ll hold up. Her casual outfit just won’t do it if she takes on anything more powerful than the Jorogumo. She should work on that immediately, she thinks as she pulls herself to her feet. The pain of Linking has faded to a dull throbbing so she should be fine.

“Eighty-six, Eighty-Seven” Avery said as she did pull-ups in the place she and Angelica had bought in Lolistan. It was a refurnished loft that Angelica was able to find on the cheap. It had a large open living area where Avery kept most of her workout equipment as well as an open kitchen. There was a washroom and two bedrooms along with an office for Angelica to work from.

Originally they were going to live in separate apartments, but in the various lawsuits, settlements and bad investments the two were practically broke. It was a miracle they were even able to find this place; though Avery did suspect that Angelica had given the landlord a little something extra in order to get the loft at a lower price.

“One Hundred!” Avery shouted as she dropped down and wiped the sweat from her brow. After her last few fights, she had upped her conditioning routine. She had heard the fighters in Lolistan were on another level but this was ridiculous. Even on a lower card, Avery has just been managing to eke out a few victories. She had a decent ground game, but she always had trouble with strikers.

Grabbing a protein shake, Avery turned her attention to a very frustrated Angelica. It looked like she was at her wit’s end. The Lolistan Fighters Arena Guild was proving a tougher organization to break through then she realized. Just as she was about to give the busty promoter a bit of encouragement, the room grew dark before a dark cloud formed. “What the Hell!” Angelica shouted as the dark clouds changed to a bright light. Donning her sunglasses, she tried to find Angelica in all this chaos. Instead, she’s confronted with some kind of eyeballed monstrosity. Avery’s mouth was agape as she stared at the large monstrosity. But that shock changed to resolve as she looked to her newly acquired weapon. “Xaiver!” Avery called as the weapon wraps around her arms to form a pair of gauntlets. “Let’s see if we can punch Angelica back to normal.”

Vs. OGW
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The horrifying creature hovered just above the ground, out of reach of Avery. When she began approaching it, it hovered a bit higher and started floating backwards as it extended one of its slimy tentacles towards her, the tentacle wrapping around her right breast, through her top, and squeezing roughly as the creature started firing purple beams from its eyes, which converged into the air in front of it, slowly forming a purple orb. Once finished, the swirling mass of energy began hurdling forward, towards Avery.

Just as Xavier formed into a pair of gauntlets, Avery could feel the creature’s tentacle wrap around her right breast and squeeze. She exhaled lightly from the rough groping. Even as a monster, Angelica was still a complete hornball Avery thought as the purple orb flew towards her. Moving quickly, she tried to avoid the orb and get into punching distance.

“Be cautious milady. Whatever Ms. Winters has become is too dangerous to face haphazardly.” Xaiver warned as Avery gripped his handle.

“Don’t worry X. I’ll kick this thing's ass and get her back one way or another.” Avery replied bursting with confidence.

Avery manages to avoid the orb, causing it to strike a wall in the back, which causes a large round portion of the wall to completely disappear and reveal the scenery outside, rather than breaking or splintering. Meanwhile, the creature flew further backwards as Avery charged forward, extending two more tentacles, the first wrapping around and groping Avery’s other breast, while the other wraps around her midsection and slips down her pants, beginning to grind against her crotch rapidly through her panties.

The MMA fighter let out a soft moan as one of the tentacles found their way into her panties and rubbed against her crotch. “Come on and fight me for real you coward.” Avery called out at the horrific monster. It was getting harder to move as more of these tendrils wrapped around. With no other recourse, she started to punch at the tendrils holding her.

“Milady, if you would permit me to suggest forming me into a bladed weapon to cut the tendrils. Or perhaps a long range weapon. I happen to have ...” Xavier suggested before Avery replied.

“Less talky, More hitty!” She said as she continued to swing at the tendrils with her fists.

Despite Avery’s efforts, the tentacles tighten around both breasts and her midsection, the tentacle that had slipped itself into her pants moving the crotch of her panties aside, before thrusting itself into her pussy and beginning to pump itself in and out of her rapidly, each thrust reaching deep inside her, and leaking the tentacle’s slime into her. As it molested her, the creature began focusing its purple beams from its eyes into another swirling purple orb, the orb humming loudly with otherworldly power.

“Will you please take this more seriously!” Xavier exclaimed as the tentacles invaded every inch of Avery’s body. Avery’s hips gyrated as the tendrils found their way to her pussy. Her nipples were erect as pleasure ran through her body.

“Just a couple more seconds Xavier, I’m close.” Avery moaned as she wiggled in place.

“Now Avery!” He yelled reprimanding his wielder. It was clear the weapon was on it’s last straw”

Rolling her eyes Avery sighed. “O~kay” Avery said as she planted her feet. Grabbing a couple of the tentacles, Avery pulled on the appendage with all her might bringing the monster into punching distance. “Open wide!” Avery yelled as she slammed her fist right into the core of it’s eyeball covered body. It hit the ground with a thud cracking the floor underneath.

On impact, the creature explodes, showering the room with black liquid, forming large pools of black all over the floor, black liquid running down the walls, black liquid soaking Avery’s clothes. Shortly after, the black liquid all forms into a single pool on the ground, from which a skeletal hand suddenly emerges, grabbing Avery’s face and digging its icy black fingers into her fist. Over the span of what feels like an eternity, the hand begins forcing the tarry black substance into Avery’s body, through her skin. The sensation felt like tar being violently scrubbed into her skin with a cheese grater. Gradually, the pool dissipates, and then finally the hand forces itself into Avery’s body, until all of the black liquid had been absorbed by Avery’s body.

Avery grinds her teeth as the skeletal hand dug into her face. It was an unbearable pain that seemed to last a lifetime. It was as painful as it was disturbing to watch the black pool of liquid get absorbed into her body. But soon the process was over as quickly as it had begun. As the pain subsided and her battle lust died down, the truth of the matter settled in. Angelica was gone. There was no way of getting her back after she had transformed.

“Avery” Xavier said with a mournful tone. Falling to her knees, the large woman gripped her head.

“FUUUCCK!” She cried as she slammed her fist through the already broken floor. “I thought … I thought if I beat it she’d. I’d be able to...” Her thoughts were disjoints. When words failed her, she resorted to the only thing she knew, violence. She continues to punch the ground in a blind rage. Crying out at her inability to help her friend. The one person who had her back when she was banned from fighting. But with all her brute strength she could do anything other than give her a swift death.

When she was finished punching the floor. She fell onto her back and looked up at the ceiling. What was she supposed to do now? Trying to gain control breathing, her mind settled on one course of action. She needed to report the attack to the authorities and inform them of Angelica's death. With everything going on, the last thing she needed was people thinking she traveled all the way to Lolistan to murder her manager. Grabbing her lolicator, she looked up the information for Project O.V.E.R and reported the attack

Re: Leave Out All The Rest(IC)

Another day in the life, a few more dollars to her name at a job she hardly cared for. Working retail had always been... especially dull and, sometimes surprisingly stressful? For Audina. You would assume you'd get a lot of chances for a bit of snooping and sexy times at a clothing store. Customer wants to try out some lingerie and needs an opinion from a stranger she could trust? Head to the nearest employee, usually the stocker! Guys come in feeling a little flirty? Hey, look at that stocker, she's cute! She's available! Maybe someone's having a clothing malfunction, or there's some mishap in the dressing room... yes, those are all the misconceptions Audina had when she decided to work at Dessedge. She was so, so naive... in reality, your average customer usually came with friends or a lover. All those juicy situations she expected? Lots of 'em happened, but never was she needed to help. Maybe there'd been a few times when someone bothered to ask for her opinion, but Dessedge wasn't an underwear shop. They specialized in belts for some reason, so people always showed her their belts. Easily the least sexy article of clothing wearable by humans.

Needless to say, the glamour faded quick, but the pay was still good and her boss 'n coworkers were all cool, so she stayed. Really, overall, it was a better legitimate gig than ever she's had before, and with her just starting out in the underground market for drugs? She needed a quicker means of making a buck— er... those coins. The little girl ones. Audina still thinks Lolistan was pretty bizarre. "Catch ya later, boss!" For instance, when she first came? She always called 'Boss' by 'Brother Boss.' Or more accurately, 'Boss— I mean Brother, er, Boss' in full. Why the people here always said 'brother' and 'sister' would elude her forever... but it was no skin off her nose. Back out of her thoughts; the redhead was just heading out with her paycheck in pocket, a happy grin on her face as she FINALLY got out of the store. She'd stretch immediately after stepping out, enjoying the refreshing night air with a victorious sigh as she did. "Closing time, closing time... glad that I'm not the closer tonight~"

"I woulda liked it... Dessedge is so quiet at night. Way better than what you usually like to do." A slightly pitched voice spoke, seemingly coming... Audina's hand? "What, you mean ya don't find that eerie? The usually lifeful place a' Dessedge, suddenly broken down to this near desolate, dark, quiet—" "shut up shut up shUT UP don't ruin it for me." Audina was swiftly interrupted, but she merely retorted with a mischievous laugh. "I'm just sayin', Robin... 'sides. You knocked my main hustle. Don't knock my main hustle bro. Dessedge is the side."

Her hand reached into the pouch on her side to pull out two small black devices which she raised to her ears. "We can bike a bit 'fore we head back, if it helps you feel any better. Just a quiet cruise?" The woman wouldn't hear her weapon's response. Once those small black devices were in... the world was completely deafened... until a steady beat, quick in pace and light, faded into hearing. She headed for the streets, her hand coming up to tap her choker for a reason that would quickly be made apparent. The distant sound of a motorcycle's engine sounded from afar, and in a minute... her ride, a fairly old model hoverbike, flew over to stop ahead of her. The redhead hopped up without a moment's care. "Hup!" She revved the engine a few times, settled herself in... and pulled out to the streets.

Her music started in full. Audina pulled her bike over to join the road's traffic, seamlessly mending into the flood of black cars as she kept her elevation at a comfortably low level. Her bike was new. She used to drive actual motorcycles on an asphalt road... so she was still getting used to hovering around. But it was not an unwelcome change of pace. On the other hand, it was hella fun! She enjoyed the lighter experience. There was less rumble from the bike's tires grinding against the road, so the experience was smooth like running water. The bike was just the right level of responsive, and though it wasn't as fast, it still managed decent speeds. Her biggest fault was that this bike specifically made some weird noises pretty often. Since it was an older model, it was fairly stripped of things such as safety and comfort technology, so it didn't really have... music, or a functioning radio, or a seatbelt, or a very good speedometer— let's be honest, she got this thing from a junkyard for cheap. The only thing it can still do well is drive.

Audina enjoyed a quick ride around the roads of Lolistan. She'd passed near Central Tank to see the fish (it still weirded her out how they just had that big tank there) and looped back around to arrive home. Once parked, Audina hopped off her bike, reached up to pull out her ear pods while making sure to stop her 'Night Drive' playlist, and stepped forward to head for the door of her... boring single-story lower middle class house, the kind you'd see on the streets that probably didn't have many defects because the design could be summed up to 'walls and roof.' "I'm tellin' ya, Robin! We start making a lot of cash? First thing I'm doin' is gettin' a new bike. These Lolistan motorcycles are fuckin' hot, right? But my little junker feels like it's still running on gas, and on top of that, it's got, like, no comfort options!" As was tyoical, Audina was complaining to her weapon about her bike, something she did very commonly as she neared the door.

This was your average day for Audina. Everything was just as it normally would be. Nothing was amiss. Nothing was unusual. She fully expected to come in, greet her Bitch and play with him a little, then head over to watch a bit of TV with some leftover pizza from last night and get to work on her drug running gig. Just an any day. Just an every day.

... "That's funny. Door seems like it's broken. Ugh... total bullshit, Rob." Just any other day. "Oh... c-could you fix it? This ain't the best neighborhood to have no door in, Aud... we both know it." She worked. She rode her bike. She bantered with Robin. "Yeah, I dunno. I'll just throw like a box or somethin' in the way, or... try to bash it back in place— hey... wait, wait. You see that?" Maybe she wanted too much.

The Mist appeared like a ghostly apparition, practically spawning into her home from another realm and quickly filling it at warp speed. "What the fuck?!" She couldn't tell where it was coming in from or how. It was an anomaly Audina couldn't hope to understand in a million years. She'd reached into her pouch to pull out her sunglasses, her protective gear from the bright flashing lights, ignoring Robin's sudden fearful screaming and babbling as she tried to order him to change into weapon form. "ROB! Robin, just DO IT—"

"Haarrr!" ... She really must've wanted too much. That was the only explanation she could've had for the horrific sight she experienced second-hand. The bones ripping and tearing, cracking painfully as he morphed into a monstrous form... the sound of his cries as his limbs rearranged and his flesh was torn asunder from the inside out... and the sight of him, limping out in a barely familiar form, his eyes baring no trace of the happy-go-lucky look he always had. His tail a cruel, twisted form that would etch itself into her nightmares. The overall grotesque, bastardization of her best friend—her only friend in some ways—growled at her with violent intent, the sight and the sound making her choke up and splutter with confusion, revulsion, grief...

"B... Bitch?" He... it, only responded with a growl. She could only hear it growl as she stared at it, her ears not registering the sound of Robin's cries and pleas for her to do something. Run? Fight? Stand there and do nothing?

... A cold feeling took her. In a moment, she was back in that room. Labored breath was heard from the cooling body of her lover. Guilt and fear shot into her like the bullet into him, and as he laid, bleeding out to his death... that fear grew. Even as he shouted with all he could. Pleaded. Demanded. Used every word in the dictionary to get her to come back... Audina did nothing but pack up and run. The situations merged in her mind. She was still in that room, but she was in her home in Lolistan.

"I— I..." The redhead took a few steps back. That door was still open, wasn't it? She was going to run.

By all rights, guarding Grundelplith, or Big G as he thankfully preferred, should be the best job Gwendolyn could be offered. By the size and extravagance of his mansion, he had plenty of coin to spend on her services, and the work was easy. All Gwen did was follow him around while he watched other people work and talked to other people on his comm system. It was better than throwing down with uppity gangsters in some back alley slum like she usually was, but somehow working for Big G bothered her even more. It wasn't his attitude, she found it rude of course, but it was no different to Gwen than any of the other scumbags she worked for. But with those other scumbags, Gwen knew exactly what they were up to, even though she wouldn't let them commit any crimes right in front of her. Big G would never tell her what he was doing, but she figured he must be giving orders from the comm system on his wrist. And if he wouldn't even give her a hint of what he was up to, it must be something truly horrifying. What would her mother think, if she could see her daughter working for men like these? Sonja was a paragon of honor and kindness in Gwen's eyes, so she couldn't imagine her mother being proud of her. The guilt of it haunted her. Her only solace was something Aila had told her back when Gwen had first turned down the work her friend had lined up for her. "So uptight, Gwen. You need to loosen up if you want to make it out there. The world will keep turning whether you do it or not, so you might as well take care of yourself." Her friend had told her, but the words hadn't reached her until much later. Aila felt that Gwen's ego was leading her to throw away valuable opportunities, and did her best to make help Gwen understand that. She couldn't single-handedly eliminate crime in Lolistan, so what sense was there in turning her nose up at it's underworld? This could be a stepping stone on her way to OVER and Gwen was able to hold on to some semblance of her morals.

With another uneventful day at Big G's done, Gwen thanks him as she collects her pay and gets in her car to drive home. "Oh thank goodness that's over." Though the voice echoed Gwen's thoughts, it belonged to her weapon, Belial, who likely was relieved to be out of there for the opposite reason as Gwen herself. "Ol' G-spot pays good and has some real eye candy working for him, but it's sooooo boring when nothing happens, right Gwendy? Now, what say we stop by the club and grab a drink on the way home, hm?" Yup, there it was. Belial had the sense to keep quiet while they were on the job, but Gwen had felt her fluid weapon writhing restlessly in her pocket through most of the day. "I'm not about to complain about easy money. And not tonight, it's my turn to make dinner." Gwen replies, smiling slightly at her weapon's usual antics. It was always her turn to make dinner, Aila was a horrible cook, but Belial wasn't being entirely honest about why she wanted to head to Paradise Lost either. Sure, they could drink for free since they were friends with the owner, but the weapon was really interested in the girls there. Last time they had gone, Belial had slipped out of Gwen's pocket and up some girl's skirt. By the time Gwen they had noticed her weapon was gone, the poor girl was three orgasms deep in one of the bathroom stalls. Well, "poor" might not be the word for it, she had apparently had a good enough time to slip Gwen her number in hopes of a repeat performance sometime. She really just wasn't feeling it tonight though, much to Belial's chagrin, the weapon letting out an exaggerated groan as they drove past the club.

Their house was a few blocks down, Aila had bought one close by in case she needed to deal with problems at her club, a surprisingly sensible decision for the usually carefree woman. And of course, Aila couldn't just leave her friend in that rundown apartment they had grown up in. Gwen didn't particularly like the charity, especially given Aila's revenue source, so she payed in what she could to household expenses and took care of the cooking. The house wasn't grand by any means, though Aila surely had plans to upgrade in the future, but an unassuming one floor, two bedroom structure was perfect for the pair right now. Gwendolyn stepped inside, intent on hanging her jacket up by the door and heading into the kitchen on the left down the hall, but the oppressive atmosphere she felt drew her gaze to the door to the living room straight down the hall, where fog begins emanating from. "Why here?!" Gwen asks, quickly slipping her aviators out of her pocket and onto her face before the house is completely enveloped. "AILA?! SHADES ON AND LET'S MOVE!" She shouts, recognizing the need to quickly get herself and her friend out of here as quickly as possible. The door opens and Aila comes stumbling out, coughing but seeming fine for now.

The relief Gwen feels upon seeing her friend doesn't last very long. Coughing may have been normal, but vomiting certainly wasn't, and when the black liquid Aila coughs up begins to mutate her, panic starts to set in for Gwen. "B-Belial!" Even as she calls out, her weapon was already sliding into her hands and taking on the form of a pair of tonfas. Though she held her weapons, Gwen didn't take up a combat stance out of sheer shock from what was unfolding before her eyes. "T-that shadow... See how it's attached to her? If we can separate them, then Aila should be fine... R-right?" She asked, desperate for any way out of this nightmare. "Great idea Gwendy. Then we just get her to a tanning booth, give her a haircut, and unstitch her eyes and mouth and she'll be good as new!" Belial retorts, her voice dripping with sarcasm, something Gwen very much does not appreciate, but can only let out an enraged growl in her helplessness. She had never killed anyone, she refused to become like the thugs she had worked for for so long, and now was she going to have no choice but to kill her own best friend? She had already lost her mother, Aila was all Gwen had left now. ".... Let's go then. The Buckets will be here soon enough, leave it to them or the Hunters." Belial eventually says, her tone softening now that her point was made. "You're only gonna get killed if you go into this half assed." Gwen pauses, still paralyzed by the choice before her, but when she looks at Aila and imagines the pain and misery her friend must be feeling right now, she knows she can't simply turn away from this. ".... No. I won't leave Aila if there's even the slightest chance we can still do something. And I won't let her get away and hurt someone else." She eventually says, sinking into her combat stance and looking to Aila, as painful as it was. "I'm sorry, Aila. I'm gonna help you if I can but.... I won't let you go on living like this, one way or another." Gwen tells her friend through choked back tears as she braces for the most important fight of her life.

Gwendy and the Ink Machine
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

As soon as Gwendy starts to raise her Tonfas, the black liquid skeleton creature fires a black tendril forward, towards Gwendy, the tendril wrapping around her midsection, before beginning to slowly expand across her clothes. When it reaches her chest, it begins tightening on them, as if it was roughly squeezing them through her clothing. While the tendril distracted her, what was once her friend flies forward at her, as if she were a doll being thrown by an angry child, ramming its head directly into Gwendy’s cheek. The impact is so heavy that it nearly knocks Gwendy off her feet, as if she had just been kicked in the face by a horse.

"The hell?!" Gwen gasps as the black tendril not only wraps around her, but begins almost groping her through her clothes. It wasn't a feeling she was entirely unfamiliar with, she had caught Belial doing much the same when the weapon got a little too feisty on occasion. "Look, I know what you're thinking, but that's not me Gwendy." Her weapon says, sounding almost defensive. Gwen growls angrily, not in the mood regardless of who's doing the groping, but the unexpected touch does it's job regardless and lowers her guard long enough for Aila to come crashing heavily into her.

The hit knocks her clean off of her feet, but Gwen is quick to recover and regain her composure. "I know it's not you, now focus!" She hisses to her weapon. This black skeleton thing had enhanced Aila obviously, her friend could never have hit that hard before. As much as she wanted to avoid hurting Aila, ignoring her was too dangerous. "Aila... I'm sorry..." She mutters, gripping Belial tightly in both hands as she dashes forward, swinging the tonfa in her right hand upwards, connecting an uppercut directly with her former friend's chin.

The hit causes the creature to let out a loud “Mmph.” of pain, as if it had stepped on something sharp, rather than getting uppercutted, its head whiplashing, but returning back into place quickly. Meanwhile, the black tar-ink-like liquid started seeping into Gwendy’s cloths, now starting to grope her breasts from beneath the outer layer of clothing, through her bra, while also spreading lower onto her crotch, starting to grind against her slit through her clothing now. As this was happening, what was formerly Aila started swinging back and forth in front of Gwendy, as if she was being shaken from side to side on a pendulum, until suddenly she gets flung onto the ground… then lifted back off the ground, her head slamming into Gwendy’s stomach so hard that the wind is knocked out of her. Despite being practically bashed against Gwendy’s body, not-Aila seemed completely unharmed by it.

Gwen is shocked to see that her attack is practically worthless, her friend’s body seems to have enhanced endurance as well as strength. "Geez Gwendy... I know I said I like it rough, but that felt like hitting a brick wall." Belial groans and Gwen finds herself agreeing. In fact, she's pretty sure she's done more damage to a brick wall in the past than she had to the enemy before her just now. Gwen opens her mouth to respond, but finds herself gasping again as the tendril begins to probe deeper into her clothes and rub against more sensitive spots. Now that she knows this is it's game plan though, she can brace herself. However, nothing could have braced her for the insane attack Aila's body launches next.

Even if she wasn't distracted by the groping tendril, Gwen would have been hard pressed to predict the inhuman movements her friend makes and the unorthodox angle of attack. Gwen had been braced for an attack to her head again, leaving her stomach vulnerable to the unexpected attack from below. She manages to remain standing this time, but Gwen can taste a little bit of blood in her mouth now. She wouldn't last long if she kept taking hits like that. "Hate to say it, but I think you were right about going for that thing behind her. She's even more hard headed than you now." Belial advises, to which Gwen nods, ignoring the last comment. Rather than continue attacking Aila's body, Gwen ducks to the side and dashes past her, heading for the creature that seemed to be controlling her.

The black liquid begins seeping into the lower part of her clothing now, starting to grind against her slit through her panties, while the upper part of the black liquid begins groping and caressing her breasts directly, having soaked through her bra, part of it pinching and rubbing her nipples. Much faster than before, the lower part of the black liquid leaks into her panties and starts to prod against her slit, without ceasing its rubbing, threatening to penetrate her.

When Gwendy dashes around Not-Aila, the ink creature’s primary body takes a step back, then Not-Aila suddenly flops into the roof from the floor, then comes crashing down against the back of Gwendy’s head, both of their skulls colliding with a powerful impact that makes it feel like Gwendy’s brain had rattled against the inside of her skull. The hit sends Gwendy crashing into the nearby wall, breaking through it and sending the debris scattering across the floor.

Seeing the enemy step back from her dash, Gwen picks up speed to match, but the feeling of the tendril threatening to penetrate her causes her step to falter. It's at that moment that Aila's body leaves her field of vision and in the next instant she feels something incredibly hard crash into the back of her head. Already off balance, the impact sends her flying forward and through the wall, where she lays for a few moments, dazed from the heavy hit to her head.

"Hey now Gwendy, now's not the time to finish prematurely! Come on, get it up!" Belial's voice rouses Gwen from her stupor and with a groan, she slowly rises to her feet. "Belial... Please... Just shut up..." Gwen says, panting heavily, both from exertion and from the groping and grinding starting to get to her. This fight was difficult enough as it is, physically and emotionally, and she needed to focus now. Her weapon falls silent, seeming to respect Gwen's wishes. Gwen nods her thanks, taking a deep breath and advancing rapidly on the ink creature again.

The Ink creature’s liquid flows into Gwendy’s pussy the slightest bit, then starts penetrating her too shallowly to break her hymen, but brushing against it each time, while another part of it pinches and rubs her clit. Meanwhile, the upper part of the liquid continues grubbing and rubbing her breasts, while pinching her nipples. The liquid soon extends another portion gradually up her body, reaching her face and starting to attempt to force itself into Gwendy’s mouth.

When Gwendy charges for the ink creature again, not-Aila flops across the floor, as if being dragged, then flops into Gwendy’s path, blocking her off from the Ink creature and slamming her forehead directly into Gwendy’s, so hard that she sees stars, then slams her body into her, knocking her to the floor, before going limp and dropping across Gwendy’s mid-section, knocking the wind out of her again, then just laying there like a sack of potatoes.

Gwen feels a brief surge of panic wash over her as the tendril begins to penetrate her. Even Belial had never gone that far. She had expected her life to be in danger, but her chastity was another story. Gwen picks up her pace, waving the tendril away for her mouth, but the distraction proves too effective once again. She barely notices Aila's body flopping in front of her until she takes another savage blow to her head. The assault doesn't simply end there however, the momentum from the hit knocks Gwen clean off her feet and leaves her pinned underneath her friend.

Gwen lay there in a daze, but while Aila's body was also just laying there, the tendrils were still continuing to grope and grind at her body. In the heat of battle, she had been able to ignore it, but now that her guard was down, she was definitely feeling it. Gwen grit her teeth to suppress the gasps and moans the pleasure was eliciting from her as she struggled feebly to get out from underneath Aila's body. This was absurd. There was no way this thing was really going to make her... Despite her resistance, eventually Gwen let out a long shuddering moan and went limp as an orgasm washed over her.

But rather than bask in the afterglow, as she lay there panting Gwendolyn felt a rage building up inside her. This monster had possessed her best friend and now it had humiliated her like this. It wouldn't stand. This ink monster was dead. Feeling a surge of energy and adrenaline, Gwen leapt to her feet, shoving Aila's body off of her in the process, and made her way down the hall towards the ink creature once more. She knew she couldn't predict the movements of Aila's body, so she decided to mix it up a little this time, ducking and weaving down the hall in an attempt to make her own movements just as unpredictable. And when the creature was finally in reach, she flipped the tonfa in her left hand to give it more reach, thrusting it forward to jab at the creature. And Gwen wasn't done there, she took a step forward and followed that jab up with a devastating uppercut from her right.

The ink creature didn’t take the hit very well, merely shivering violently, before collapsing into a puddle of black liquid. Several moments after the ink creature has been reduced to a puddle, Not-Aila slowly began liquifying into a puddle as well. The liquefaction was significantly slower, taking several minutes to complete. Several more moments after the two puddles had been formed… they suddenly slid together directly in front of Gwendy, then a large, skeletal hand emerged from the puddle, black as night. The hand grabs Gwendy by the face, its skeletal fingers digging into her skin, then the puddle begins writhing up its form, onto the fingers, and burrowing into Gwendy’s skin, bit by bit. It felt like tar was being scrubbed into her body with a cheesegrater, violently. Eventually, after what seems like an eternity, the black puddle has been completely absorbed into Gwendy, and the skeletal hand follows suit, starting at the base, and working its way up to the fingers, until all of it was gone completely.

There were few things more satisfying than finally getting to smack this damn ink blob around, and Gwen sighs in relief as it goes down from her solid blow. But what about Aila? Gwen turns to see her friend's body start to dissolve into a puddle as well. "Aila! Oh no no no please..." In an instant, Gwen is at her friend's side, trying to hold Aila even as she becomes black goo. She had known this would happen, in a way. Belial had warned her after all, and as a citizen of Lolistan, she knew the dangers of the mist. She knew, but she couldn't stop the tears rolling down her cheeks all the same. "You can't leave me too, Aila... Not you too... You think I'm gonna run your filthy club for you? That's your job! You can't leave yet!" Gwen cries, begging and pleading to not be left alone, even as Aila disappears. Eventually, it's just her, sobbing over a black puddle.

And then something strange happens. A hand emerges, digging into her face. Gwen screams, the shock and pain catching her completely off guard, but she can't pry herself away from it, even as it pumps the black liquid remains of Aila into her through her skin. The agony lasts until there's nothing left, no hand, no puddle, just Gwen in her house. "Wh-what the hell just happened?" She wondered aloud, stumbling to her feet, staring wide eyed at the spot where the puddle used to be. "I... I need to get out of here..." She mutters, turning to leave. It wasn't safe in the mist, and she didn't want to be in this house where she used to live with Aila anymore. She didn't know where she would go now, she just wanted to be... anywhere but here.

Re: Leave Out All The Rest(IC)

Postby Littlemankitten » Sun May 17, 2020 11:04 pm

Lilithania shivered vigorously as she stood in the beating snowstorm that surrounded her. She didn't quite understand why she was here, nor why she was just in her lacy black underwear, but that seemed moot compared to the fact she was slowly freezing to death and had to find some form of warmth. She wandered the snowy wasteland slowly, shivering the whole way as she huddled her body against itself, looking around for any form of shelter. Instead of shelter though, deafening thunder cracked, along with blinding light illuminating her vision. Just as the roar in her ears subsided and her vision started to clear the lightning and thunder sounded once again, temporarily deafening and blinding her even as she shut her eyes and tried to cover her ears. The snow and wind seemed harsher than ever as well, pelting against her skin painfully. When the third bolt cracked through the air, she yelled out into the snow, trying to overpower the sound in some deluded effort of control. When she opened her eyes and her vision became more clear than just pure white, she could see the gigantic form of a canine like creature. It's vast size stretched far beyond what was visible in the snow. She gasped as the thing slightly bent down its form towards her, then screamed as it roared. She was sent flying back into the snow, slamming into the ground painfully and rolling, the numbness in her skin keeping the pain from being unbearable.

She awoke with a gasp, shooting up and breathing heavily, looking around the room before regaining orientation of where she was. She clutched at her chest and took deep breaths, calming herself down. That was quite the dream... After regaining her composure, she gets out of bed and goes about her normal morning routine. Showering, putting on her makeup, spending a absurdly long time trying to find the right outfit to wear. Said outfit ended up being her usual grey skirt, with a slightly lighter gray shade covering her breasts and stomach. A black line with white borders ran down its side, and the skirt ended in a black and purple piece that ended in black lacy frills. She also wore black stockings which went up to her mid-leg and also ended in the same black lacy frills. After she was all freshened up, she went downstairs and ate the breakfast that was already prepared for her by the servants. Her mind was on the nightmare she had still, so it took her a bit longer than it should have to realize her sister was missing. When she did realize it though, she immediately stopped eating and looked around, a confused look on her face. Her sister was never late, let alone this late. There was something wrong in the air too. Standing straight up, she marched towards her sisters room.

Upon opening her sisters door without even bothering to knock, she gasps in surprise. "Oh Shit." She states, immediately putting on her sunglasses when she realized what was happening. Upon seeing her sisters form, clearly suffering under the affects of the fog, she took long strides towards her, holding her breath as she did so. Oh no this fog will not take her sister from her. Her face was filled with more determination than anything else, but it was replaced with surprise as she felt herself get pulled back a little, after whipping around to find out what pulled her back, she grimaced as she saw her weapon oozing from her back, down her shoulder and arms and into her hand. "Do not be foolish, you cannot get her back if you succumb as well. This force has the audacity to try and take your sister away from you, take your sister back into your possession by any means." Avarice states in a ticked off tone, seemingly really pissed off that something would try and take so valuable from them. Seeing her sister writhe in agony as she transformed was hard for her to watch though, and tears formed in her eyes, occasionally she tried to step towards her sister again to somehow stop this ordeal but Avarice always held her back, much to her annoyance. "If you just let me wrench her from that damn fog we could have saved her by now!" She protested, subconsciously knowing that would never happen but not wanting to accept it. Finally it was far to late should that have even been possible in the first place, and her sister had transformed into some twisted abomination that looked like a fencer, and definitely looked like it wanted nothing more than her blood. With a growl, Lilithania took a defensive position. "Give her back to me you piece of shit!"

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Lilithania glowered at the thing that stole her sister away from her, sizing it up and down and trying to get an accurate gauge of what exactly she was facing up against. Unfortunately Lilithania was far from experienced in combat, and had no idea where to start. “Do not hesitate, take what is yours!” Avarice suddenly screams in her ear, and she winces a little bit before deciding it was best to strike first before it had a chance. Letting out a growl of anger, Lilithania rushes the beast, Avarice sensing her will and morphing into her teddy bear which was kept by her side at nearly every moment. While it was quite childish of her and her family often mocked her of not getting rid of it, it was something she kept to keep her stress in check. A childhood memory to always remind her of better times. Propelled by Lilithania’s momentum, the thing barrels straight towards the creature, flailing its arms and legs around. Despite looking as though it was made of fluff it could do some serious damage.

The creature seemingly teleports out of the path of Lilithania’s weapon, appearing just out of range, before dashing towards her at incredible speed, ramming her sword through Lilithania’s abdomen, the blade exiting out through her back. The creature then seemingly teleports backwards and twirls its sword in its hand before dropping back into a battle stance and starting to lightly hop back and forth, as if preparing for another attack, while also daring Lilithania to attempt another attack against it.

Lilithania’s eyes widened as the thing suddenly just vanished from where it was, before she could even register where it had gone she felt the sword entering her body, slicing through her abdomen as if she were made of warm butter. A splatter of blood erupts from her back and stains the wall behind her, lightly splattering a picture of the two laughing together on a nearby shelf as well. Lilithania coughs out a small amount of blood, grasping at the newly formed wound as the thing backs away just as quickly as it attacked her, hopping around like some demented bunny with a sword. Realizing just how vulnerable she was with her weapon taking the form of a different entity and not as a tool she could wield, she looked around for any kind of self defense, grabbing the nearest semi-nasty thing she could find, which ended up being a fire poker from the nearby fireplace that many of the rooms in house had. She attempted to wield it like a spear, ready to jab at the thing at a moment's notice. Figuring it might be harder to dodge two attacks at once, she jabbed at the thing in a rapid motion, aiming for its perverse face as her teddy began to try and wail on it again.

The creature dodges the Fire Poker easily, but Lilithania’s weapon manages to land a hit, barreling into the thing like a charging rino. The attack sends it tumbling across the floor and into the nearby wall, breaking straight through it and sending the rubble scattering in every direction. The creature recovers quickly, leaping out of the rubble, spinning around the teddy bear at incredible speed, before lunging at Lilithania again, this time starting the slash high, but quickly switching the swing’s direction and slashing Lilithania from shoulder to hip in an incredible blur of motion.

Lilithania smirks a tiny bit as she watches the thing dodge right into her teddy’s attack and get thrown straight through the wall. That wall would be expensive to repair and her family would no doubt hear that but that was far from what she was focusing on now. Before Lilithania could try to exploit its downed state it hopped right back up and began dodging around her teddy bear with such speed that she couldn’t even see where it was. Before she knew it it attacked her again, creating a deep gash from her shoulder all the way to her hip, blood splattered all over the ground, and she let out a gasp of pain. Lilithania would quickly learn why people said Adrenaline was a hell of a drug, and despite the flash of pain that she felt and the blood she was now losing, she hardly felt anything but the roar of her heartbeat, she gripped the fire poker with white knuckles. Seeing how the double attack worked last time, she once again stabbed at the thing as her teddy bear picked up a nearby end table dresser, raising it up like a feather as clothes fall from it, draping it in washed bras and panties before jumping up in the air and attempting to slam the thing in the head with the end table dresser.

Lilithania’s attack catches the thing by surprise and scratches its shoulder as it attempts to duck away. Once again, the Teddy Bear’s attack catches it mid-evasion, and the end table dresser is smashed across its head, caving in part of its skull and causing strange black fluid to spill out of the newly-created indentation. The creature screeches in pain and anger, but quickly retaliates by jamming its sword through Lilithania’s thigh, then drawing its arm back and quickly slashing at Lilithania’s shoulder, creating deep cuts on both.

The end table dresser splinters into many pieces as it connected with the creature, and the teddy bear began to repeatedly slam what remnants it still held onto back at the creature, each time having less and less to work with until it was essentially grasping a pile of splinters as it punched it. Lilithania, seeing it pinned, approached to deliver a killing blow. However it was once again much faster than her, and managed to stab her through the thigh, and then slashing at her other shoulder, creating new splatters of blood and bleeding wounds from the attacks. With a grunt of pain and rage, Lilithania raises the fire poker up above it then slams it down onto its face as hard as she could.

Lilithania slams the fire poker through the creature’s eye, causing it to shiver violently, before collapsing onto the floor and slowly dissolving into a puddle of black liquid on the floor. Only a moment after the puddle formed, a large, skeletal hand emerged from the puddle, black as night. The hand grabs Lilithania by the face, its skeletal fingers digging into her skin, then the puddle begins writhing up its form, onto the fingers, and burrowing into Lilithania’s skin bit by bit. It felt like tar was being scrubbed into her body with a cheesegrater, violently. Eventually, after what seems like an eternity, the black puddle has been completely absorbed into Lilithani and the skeletal hand follows suit, starting at the base, and working its way up to the fingers, until all of it is gone completely.

Lilithania panted heavily as the thing finally laid still then began to melt into a black puddle. Was it over? Could she get her sister back now? That thought echoed through her head as she stared at the puddle, but no matter how hard she stared her sister did not emerge. What did emerge however she was not expecting, a black hand erupted from the puddle and grabbed onto her face, causing her to gasp and claw at the thing in surprise and fear. Her teddy bear also quickly came up and began punching and kicking at the arm, trying to wrest her free from its clutches to no avail, it didn’t budge even a little as the ooze began to crawl up its skeletal arm and into her face. She screamed out as she felt whatever the stuff was absorb into her flesh, pain shooting from her face as the stuff felt as though it was ripping her open in order to enter her though it made no wound. It was so incredibly slow too, and it felt like it took hours for the stuff to finally absorb into her body, excruciating pain exploding from her face the entire time. When there was nothing left and the hand itself absorbed into her, she collapsed onto her knees and stares at the spot where the puddle was. Instead of her sister all she felt was a hollow emptiness, a void in her very being. She also felt a strange new sensation inside her, like despite the loss she did gain something, though of significantly less value. Finally, after staring at the floor for a small while, she broke down into tears, sobbing onto the floor which was covered in her blood. She cried for what also felt like hours, yet despite the time she had felt past, no one came through the door, as if the entire scene was a silent happening taking place in a completely separate world. Her teddy bear placed a hand on her shoulder as she cried. “To think something of such value could be torn away from you in such a violent and quick manner. The loss of such a worthy possession is horrible, yet you have gained something immense from it. You have gained the power of the Chains. You can use it to claim things of equal value.” Avarice spoke in a manner that seemed as though it was attempting to comfort her, though it did it in a very crude manner. Lilithania stayed silent for a while, contemplating her loss and what her teddy bear said. A chain, something that could absorb and control the fog creature powers… If she could control it, does that mean there was still a chance to reclaim her sister? She wasn’t sure, but she knew she couldn’t do it now, she needed more knowledge of how the fog worked, and what her own power even entailed. She knew in order to learn she had to dive deeper into the fog, and fight more of its horrifying creations, perhaps losing even more in the process, but if she could learn to wrest control from it, perhaps she could gain everything she had lost back and even more, more than she could ever dream of. There was an organization dedicated to hunting and studying these creatures. She was sure they already knew of her actions, they would find her, even with her wealth and power she wouldn’t be able to find them on her own. She slowly and shakily stood up, nodding to herself. “Y-yes… You’re right. Perhaps this new found power can give her back to me, in time… I think becoming a mist hunter might be my best option now… I will have to leave my family behind… But that’s fine…” Lilithania never really liked most of her family besides her sister anyway, she got along better with most of the servants than most of her family, especially her father. With a goal now in mind, she surprisingly calmly walked to her room, gathered some of her belongings, some of her clothes and her laptop, along with her phone and of course their respective chargers. After pursuing through her room to grab whatever else she thought she might need, she nodded towards Avarice, who changed back into his black puddle like form that crawled up her body and rested on her. Now was the time to leave, and so she opened her bedroom window which was thankfully on the first floor, and hopped out. Where would she go? She had no idea, but her home held nothing for her now, so she’d just have to wing it.
I hurt you, I heal you, I hurt you again. That's the pattern.

Lilithania Loliata/Kitty
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Lilithania likely wasn't prepared for the sight she found outside. In the black-blocked streets, she saw the mist, just as thick as it had been in her room before, filled with numerous monsters, which were battling a group of Mist Hunters. All she could make out were silhouettes, but one stood out more than the others. While most of the numerous Mist Hunters looked like normal-sized people, one was much taller than the average person, roughly 6'7", and was swinging around a huge sword, the size of her entire body.

As the battle continued in front of her, she heard the sound of her room door being broken down, the pieces scattering across the room with a loud clattering sound, after which two more monsters hurried into the room. The first creature immediately leapt from the floor to the ceiling, then began skittering towards Lilithania. It had a pale green exo-skeleton, bright black eyes, and long dark hair, with six arms, and six legs. Despite the creature being transformed, it would have been easy for Lilithania to tell that it used to be her mother. Slowly shambling across the floor, the second creature was a strange mass of what looked like liquified muscle tissue and teeth, its legs resembling melted digitigrade legs, while its arms were gigantic, oozing monstrocities, and its head was just a mass of muscle with two rows of teeth in it.

The first creature reached Lilithania so quickly that she barely had a chance to gasp, and attempted to leap at her, however a figure appeared from the mist and battered the creature aside with its bare hand, causing the creature to shriek as it tumbled across the ground. The figure let out a "Hmph." as it stepped stepped between Lilithania and the two creatures, hefting its gigantic sword onto its shoulders. Lilithania then got an opportunity to get a better look at the figure as the mist swirled around them, its flashing clouds painting all surroundings a cacophony of different colors. The figure was an extremely tall woman, with long brown hair, tied into a braid that reached her hips. Her body was toned, her skin pale. She was wearing a black cap, a tight sleeveless black top that exposed her six-pack abs, black jean shorts with a black belt, black fingerless gloves, black elbow pads, black combat boots, and black thigh-highs. She eyed Lilithania, her bright red eyes scanning her up and down, a bored expression on her face, before she turned back to the two approaching monsters without a word. From this side, Lilithania could see a tattoo on her exposed, muscular shoulder, of a black scorpion with a trident for mandibles, indicating that she was the leader of the Mist Hunter cell "Black Scorpion".

Galatea Lowell/Misc
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

When Galatea explains that she had just cut down her wife, and isn't actually a Mist Hunter, the stranger makes a face like he had just accidentally burned down Galatea's house. "Oh, my deepest apologies and condolences, Sister. You did the right thing... there are no known instances of a Mist Creature returning to a human form after transforming." he says, before adding, as he prepares to leave "Dressedge can be found near the central Fish Tank. Best of luck in your Hunting, Sister." he says, as he gives her a friendly wave, the typical three-fingered wave of the Lolistanians, which acted as a symbol of a peaceful separation of ways.

As Galatea makes her way out of the now-empty Amusement park and down the black-blocked streets of Lolistan, towards Dressedge, the streets near the Amusement Park remain empty, however the streets further down remain as busy as ever. Lolistan typically remained quite busy at all times, whether during the day or night. The hovercars zoomed down the black-blocked roads, with glowing green crevasses, indifferent of Galatea's position on the sidewalk.

Separating the square from the section of the city with the Amusement Park, Maloise, was a very large black bridge. It was constructed much the same as the streets, however the bridge arched over the body of purple water below, creating a sort of hill. Each side of the bridge had the same street lights as the rest of Lolistan.

As Galatea crossed the bridge that separated the square from Maloise, passing several groups of people on the way, it suddenly started to become more difficult to see, as fog rolled in just as it had when she was at the amusement park with her wife. The flashing lights blind her, until she manages to get her Sunglasses on, at which point she notices a strange creature rapidly dashing across the bridge at her. The creature had long black hair, with a face that resembled a donkey's, but with no fur, pale skin, sharp claws, and digitigrade legs, with hooved feet. The creature's blazing red eyes were locked on Galatea, and its mouth was lined with razor sharp teeth. Despite the fact that Galatea saw the creature coming, she moved too slowly to get out of the way of its swinging claws in time.

Before the creature could strike, Galatea heard a voice from her right "Sister, get back!" says a female voice, as a girl swoops in and kicks the creature in the face, using the creature's face as a springboard to backflip, knocking it over the railing and into the purple water below with a loud splash. The girl had long brown hair down to her lower legs and bright purple eyes. She was wearing a purple V-shaped hair clip on the right side of her hair and a purple bow on the back, and was wearing black leggings, black shoes with glowing blue straps, a purple and black plaid skirt with a purple belt, a stomach-exposing sleeveless white top with a single black stripe on one side, black fingerless gloves that reached her upper arms, white headphones with glowing purple sides, and a black overcoat with white and purple details. She was holding a black scythe with a glowing rainbow blade in her right hand, and over her eyes was a black visor with a jagged glowing purple line across the front, and glowing purple details on the sides.

The girl held her weapon at the ready and moves to stand in front of Galatea, looking from place to place around them rapidly. "Do not let your guard down, Sister, there are more monsters present." she says, in a low voice. As she spoke, Galatea could hear that she had a slight french accent. Galatea could also hear the sound of stomping feet from behind them, a strange slithering sound, from one side of the bridge, and a low rumble from in front of them. From over the side of the railing, a strange creature that looked like a mass of human limbs, with a slug-like appearance, crawled onto the bridge. It had two eyes on stalks, a long tentacle-like tongue, and its body seemed to be wrapped around itself in a strange tangle, its two arms and two legs jutting out of it at strange angles, as it looked at Galatea and the other girl and drooled. At the same time, from the front, a strange black humanoid creature with a jagged white line down the front of its body shambled into view, hunched over and smiling at the two of them. From behind them, emerged a creature with scaley black skin, numerous arms and numerous tentacles, as well as three glowing red eyes, emerged from the mist. The closer it got, the more it looked like the creature didn't just have hands, but was MADE of numerous handles clasped over each other, while its stomach was a large mouth, its lower body was made of tentacles, aside from its feet, which jutted out of the mass of tentacles at a strange angle.

Gwendolyn Datchery/Blue
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

When Gwen exits her house, she hears a clicking sound, followed by a rush of wind, after which a creature leaps from Gwendy's roof. The creature resembled a moose, but had six eyes, eight legs, and two rows of four antlers. Instead of fur, it had a bug-like exo-skeleton, the color of moose fur. The creature slams into Gwendy, knocking her over and sending her tumbling across her yard. The creature then leapt into the air, towards Gwendy as she was attempting to get up, firing a stream of web from its abdomen while in mid-air. Just before the web hits Gwendy, she's suddenly yanked to the side, causing the moose monster to hit a nearby Lolistanian Tree, which were black trees with light blue leaves and a blue glow that emanated from the crevasses in the bark, and yank itself to it. The person pulled Gwendy to her feet and spoke in a voice she recognized "Now, Sister Gwendolyn, you're going to need to be more careful than that." she says in her a friendly tone, yet one that sounded like she was shaming her. When Gwendy gets a good look at her, she can see that it's the girl who lives just across the street, Nero. She had wavy platinum blond hair down to her lower thighs and bright blue eyes. She was wearing a tube top with crisscrossing laces over her exposed mid-section and upper arms, with a black sleeveless hoodie with a white hood, pants with a black to purple gradient with star designs on them, and black boots with purple straps. Over her eyes, she was wearing a black visor with two glowing purple lines on the front, and she was holding a black sword that was emitting a bright blue energy blade along the metal frame.

Just as she explained that Gwendy needed to be more careful, she could barely see two more of the moose-spider creatures moving around in the mist, attempting to surround them, while the first was righting itself, and crawling down the tree, all three eyeing the two girls hungrily. "Oh dear, there's more than I expected, Sister." the girl said, frowning at the creatures that were surrounding them. "Sister Gwendolyn, can you still fight?" she asked, worry clouding her voice the very slightest bit. She seems to, just now, get a good look at Gwendolyn's body, after which she reaches into one of her pockets and pulls out an Injector, handing it to Gwendy.

Audina Falcone/Blah
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

As Audina runs outside in an attempt to escape Not-Bitch, the creature pounces, landing on the spot she was just standing, showering her with fragments of her floor as it crushes it beneath its feet. As Audina slips through the door, Not-Bitch slashes horizontally with its tail, the attack coming so close to hitting Audina, it couldn't have been off by more than a millimeter. What the attack does hit, however, is the doorframe of the open door, slicing clean through them and blasting the fragments into the air. Not-Bitch continues to chase Audina, as she mounts her hovercycle, leaping at her to attempt to slash her with its scorpion-like tail, the attack barely missing her head as she attempts to hover away. As she hovers down the streets, the monster continues chasing her, keeping up and stabbing at her with its tail, barely missing as she hovers back and forth, somehow managing to evade each of the incredibly fast slashes and stabs, incredibly fast blurs of motion that Audina couldn't even begin to keep track of. As Vehicles past in the other lanes, not-Bitch leapt onto them, using them as platforms to launch itself forward, causing it to gain on Audina.

Suddenly the creature leaps onto the back of Audina's hover bike, destabilizing it momentarily, forcing it to use its automatic crash correction to right itself. The creature growls in Audina's eat and raises its tail to strike as it drools on her back. At the same instant the creature attempts to thrust, a hovercar that Audina recognizes, a black one with a glowing red stripe across each side, and a double stripe along the top, a bright green glow beneath it as it hovers up beside Audina and slams against the side of her hovercycle, triggering the impact shield, while also destabilizing it, knocking the dog-monster off-balance and forcing it off, causing it to roll across the ground once, before resuming its chase. The passenger-side window rolls down, and a familiar girl leans out the window. She had wavy pink hair down to her upper thighs, and bright purple eyes, several purple bows in her hair, one on top and one on each side. She was wearing a stomach-exposing hoodie with a teal top and white bottom split into two V-shapes, over a tight black stomach-exposing top with a gray stripe on each side, with a dark teal skirt with a black belt, over tight black shorts, with black boots with crisscrossing teal straps, and gray thigh-high stockings. With the window open, she could also see into the driver seat, where another familiar person was sitting. They had dark blue hair tied back into twintails, with long bangs and long sides, and dark blue eyes. They were wearing a stomach-exposing red and black striped top, a red and black checkered skirt with a black belt, black thigh-highs with red blood designs, red boots with black straps, and had four clips in their hair, one designed like a black cat face, a white crescent moon, a white star, and a red bow, and over their eyes, they were wearing a V-shaped black visor with a red lens. The first was one of Audina's co-workers, Zaetalia, while the driver was another co-worker, Azaria. Both shared Audina's shift, which means that they were likely on their way home.

Both tended to share the same shift as Audina most nights. While Zaetalia was overly friendly and talkative, Azaria tended to keep to themself, and focus on their work. The two got along surprisingly well, despite having polar opposite personalities, Zaetalia being out-going, while Azaria was a goth-type loner.

Zaetalia got out of her seat and sat on the window, her legs inside the vehicle to keep her from falling, and she called out to Audina. "Hey, Sister Aud! We were on our way home, saw you driving full speed, thought we'd say hi, then saw a monster chasing you! Sup?" she says, casually, as she pulls out a short, black gun with red lights on the sides, then aims it at not-Bitch, the weapon quickly extending from the length of a handgun to the length of a rifle, then splitting along the barrel. As she aimed, a red disk of energy formed between the two halves of the barrel. Just as not-Bitch attempted to leap on Audina again, Zaetalia fired, managing to hit all four legs with a single shot, causing not-Bitch to let out a high-pitched whine, lose momentum, and drop on the ground, being left in the dust as the two vehicles zoom down the street.

Avery Valentine/Mark
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

A full hour after Avery reports the attack, the Buckets finally arrive. Rather than simply opening the door, one of them kicks the door down, breaking it off its hinges, after which a second Bucket grabs the broken-down door and drags it away, while other Buckets quickly storm into the room, aiming their weapons in every direction, while two others use a device, which scans the room.

The Buckets were wearing black armor from head to toe. The standard OVER Agent head a helmet with a pointed top, while the Scanner Agents had helmets with smooth tops and four eyes, and the Justicars had helmets with an antenna and two eyes that slanted downwards towards the middle. Most of them were armed with the standard OVER Rifle, with a revolving cylinder for ammo, an all-black design, aside from the glowing green lights on the sides. The weapon used bullets that generated plasma explosions when a target is struck. Those that weren't, were instead armed with Accelerator Rifles, for longer range combat, primarily the scanners so that they could communicate enemy positions to the other members of the unit, while also providing fire support. For close range combat, the OVER Agents were also armed with unfolding plasma swords. OVER Plasma Swords consisted of a black handle with a glowing green button, which when pressed would cause a metal frame to unfold from the handle, after which a green plasma edge would ignite around the unfolded metal blade.

The OVER Agents would investigate every corner of the room with their scanners for a solid 45 minutes, before finally moving back into formation in the center of the room, their Justicar moving to Avery, clearing his throat, before opening his line of questioning with "Sister, an attack was reported to Project OVER. Our scan indicates that a Mist creature was indeed on the premises sometime before we arrived. What happened to the creature, who was transformed, and every single solitary detail about the mist itself, its manner of appearance, any locations you witnessed it just before its appearance on the premises." he says, even if any of this was stated in Avery's report, as if they hadn't bothered to read it. Meanwhile, the other Agents were standing in rows as still as statues.

Re: Leave Out All The Rest(IC)

Postby Blue56 » Mon Jun 08, 2020 11:21 pm

Gwendolyn felt like she was in a haze as she stepped outside, and it wasn't because of the mist that hung in the air around her. She couldn't believe what she had just done, she'd killed her best friend with her own two hands, and then there was that... thing... that had forced it's way inside her... Words couldn't describe how empty she felt as she left the house with no particular destination in mind. Because of that, she wasn't aware that another monster had her in it's sights until it was already slamming into her. Gwen was so numb she barely felt it, but still let out a grunt as she was flung across her front yard. She was getting real sick of being tossed around like a ragdoll by these beasts. Still, her body felt like lead as she tried to rise. She needed to kill this thing too if she wanted to make it out of here alive, but that last fight had left her exhausted, physically and emotionally. Just when it looks like the web is about to connect with her too, Gwen finds herself pulled out of the way at the last second. To her surprise, it's one of the neighbors from across the street. "Sister... Nero?" She was a Mist Hunter? Maybe she would have known that, but Gwen never got too much time to chat with the neighbors. There was never enough time. That aside, she was right, Gwen needed to get her shit together. "Y-yeah... Thanks, Sister Nero." She says, nodding and taking the offered hand to pull her to her feet.

As she stood, it became plain to Gwen that there was more than one enemy this time, and that they were moving to surround the two women. "Belial." She calls, her weapon forming into tonfas in her hands once again. "You rang? Does this mean I get to talk again?" In a way, it was almost refreshing that no amount of tragedy could dampen her weapons sense of humor. Gwen's silence doesn't deter Belial either, the weapon lets out an exaggerated sigh. "Fine, fine, but if we're working overtime, you know that's time and a half, right Gwendy? " Gwendolyn rolls her eyes, smirking at the weapons cheekiness as she moves so she's back to back with Nero. They needed to watch each others backs if the enemy was trying to surround them. "Yeah, I can fight, Sister Nero. In fact, I insist." Gwen says, taking the offered injector and using it without hesitation. "Got a little bit of anger I need to work out." Yeah, she was furious about what had happened to Aila, what she had been forced to do to her best friend. But more than that, a situation like this was almost nice in a way. Ever since her mother disappeared, Gwen had been forced help bad people in order to survive. Her black and white world had been slowly turned to grey and it was so frustrating. Things were so much clearer here, she was good and the monsters she was fighting were evil. Simple, easy, all you had to do was point her in the right direction and Bam! Instant justice. "Let's do this, Sister Nero." Gwen says, gripping Belial a little tighter as she crouches into a combat stance and gets ready to fight.

The Age of Aquarius
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Almost immediately, one of the Spider-Deers leaps through the air at incredible speed, swinging its head in an attempt to slam Nero with its antler. In response, she quickly ducks and shoves Gweny to the side, allowing the creature to sail past them, missing both targets. Just as the creature landed, the second one fires webbing at Nero, catching her in the shoulder while she was crouched, before tugging her off her feet and towards itself. Nero cries out and struggled with the webbing, attempting to slash at it with her weapon, but the web seems to be too strong for her sword to cut through. Nero changes her mind, and rolls with the creature’s tugging, using it to gain momentum to slash at it with her sword, only for the creature to leap out of the attack’s range with incredible speed, landing in a tree, the branches cracking beneath its weight.

Meanwhile, the third creature fires a web shot at Gwendy, striking her in the back, then tugs her off her feet, sending her tumbling towards it. The impact of the web striking her feels like someone swung a ton of bricks at her and scored a direct hit, then the strength of the creature tugging her backwards is in no way fitting for their slim frames.

Gwen is caught off guard by how fast these things are. If Nero hadn't shoved her out of the way, she would have been hit by that attack for sure. Though they had dodged the first hit, the follow up attack from the other connects with them both. The force of the webbing wrapping around her hurts, but it's nothing Gwen hadn't shrugged off before. Then, she's caught off guard again by how strong these things are as she finds herself tugged backwards, she struggles to stay put, catching on to how these monsters are trying to separate her from Nero but ends up yanked off her feet despite her resistance.

Gwen leaps to her feet, tearing the webbing from her body, not eager to let herself be bound again like she had in the previous fight. As she prepares to fight back, Gwen suddenly finds herself hit with a wave of nausea that sends her back to her knees. She begins to cough and heave violently, puking a thick black tar substance onto the ground in front of her. Was this a side effect of what had happened to her earlier? Before her eyes, the tar begins to coalesce and take solid form. It was... "A-Aila...?!" Her friend stood before her once more, but not in the form she knew and loved... No, this was the monster she had been forced to kill. Gwen stumbles backwards, prepared to fight again, but the puppet before her launches itself headfirst towards the Spidoose instead. Could it be that that monster was fighting for her now? It wasn't the way she wanted to see her friend ever again but... If this was how Aila would fight beside her, then so be it.

Gwen stands and rushes to join the puppet she had summoned.... Only to find herself wrapped in webbing a mere minute after she had freed herself. She had been so focused on the monster before her that she hadn't even seen the attack coming from the side where there was no visible enemy. Gwen stands stunned while Belial suddenly erupts in raucous laughter. "HAHAHAHAHA! And I thought I was horny! Gwendy, maybe you oughta just stay like this, you look too good wrapped up like some kinda BDSM birthday present after all." Gwen would have had a lot of choice words for her weapon, had a strand of web not landed across her mouth, and freeing the rest of her body was a higher priority right now.

The first Spider-Moose creature leaps from the tree it was in, to a nearby illumination post, tugging Nero with it, however she quickly leaps with the webbing, attempting to keep it slack, to keep herself from being tugged around by the creature. Meanwhile, the second Spider-Moose dashes up behind her, mid-jump, slamming its antlers into her back and sending her spinning and swinging back and forth from the webbing as she coughs up blood. The creature that had struck her in the back then fires a web shot at her, then tugs her, the first creature following as the second uses the web to throw her, snapping both webs and slamming her against the edge of the nearby stone-framed pond, after which she bounces into the water, laying on her back in the shallows, bleeding from her head and mouth, her body twitching as she attempts to stand.

As Gwendy was struggling with the web, the Spider-Moose moves around her puppet at incredible speed, then slams its antlers into her back, sending her tumbling across the grass, slamming into a nearby tree, after which one of the two that had been attacking Nero fires a web shot at her back, before jerking its body and swinging her around in a circle, using her body as a flail to slam her into a nearby illumination post, crushing the side and forcing it to crumple over so heavily that the illumination core at the top slams against the black-cubed ground, flickering for a moment, after which the third creature suddenly drops from the air, slamming into her with its legs in a heavy stomp that cracks the black cube beneath her with her body.

Gwen is too focused on the enemy before her to be able to pay attention to what happens to Nero, but upon hearing the other woman's cries, she does spare a glance back to see her battered and bloody body lying in the water. The other two must have ganged up on her, just like Gwen had feared would happen. That one glance was all the opening her opponent needed. Gwen hadn't expected it to evade her puppet's erratic movements so easily, especially when she had had such a hard time with that herself, but that must have been what happened as she felt a strong pair of antlers collide with her body. And the assault didn't end there, the other Spidoose didn't pause to revel in their victory over Nero, as one used her as a club to knock down an illumination post and the other dropped down from above and slammed into her with it's full weight.

Gwen was winded from the first hit, so she couldn't do much besides grunt and groan in agony, but by the time the assault on her had finished, she was coughing blood into the shattered ground. Two bit thugs from Lolistan's underworld sure didn't hit this hard. Gwen was honestly surprised she was still alive after all that, let alone conscious and able to stand. But stand she does, albeit very shakily, and rips the webbing from her body. "Whew... Quite the pounding you took there. Never knew you had it in you." Belial chimes in, undeterred by how bad the situation was as always. "Oh, I'm about to show you some pounding, alright..." Gwen quips back, a small smile forming across her lips despite herself. "Don't threaten me with a good time, Gwendy." Comes the weapons retort, just as quickly. While the two banter, Gwen's puppet comes flying in from behind, crashing into the Spidoose that had just stomped her, and knocking it off balance. Gwen is quick to take advantage of this, stepping forward and swinging her tonfas for a one two combo that she follows up with an uppercut to the stumbling monster.

Gwendy’s attack causes the creature to screech in pain, and cracks the Spidoose’s carapace, causing black liquid to ooze out of the fractures. As Gwen was beating the shit out of the Spidoose, the second one charges in from behind and bites into her shoulder, its fangs sinking into her flesh through her clothing, while the second spits a big green glob of acid onto her body, which slowly begins dissolving her shirt.

As the creatures continued to gang up on Gwendy, suddenly a green laser light settles on the forehead of the creature that had spat acid onto Gwendy’s clothes, then a plasma blast follows, blowing the creature’s head to bits faster than the blink of an eye, showering the area, including Gwendy, in black liquid, the creature’s body falling limp and dissolving into a black puddle. Following the source of the attack, Gwendy sees a girl in the distance, standing on the top of an illumination pole. She had long brown hair down to her hips, with green streaks in it, and platinum-colored eyes. She was wearing a green-tinted visor, a black bandana with a white fang design over her mouth, a gray sleeveless top, black shoulder-length gloves, black short shorts, black thigh-high stockings, and was holding a gigantic black cross-shaped gun with a revolving barrel that seemed to feature several different firing modes, including a Rail Cannon, a Plasma Cannon, a Missile Launcher, and a Heavy Laser Cannon, with a huge black shield on one side, with a green energy shield being emitted over that.

Gwen focuses on pummeling the Spidoose in front of her, satisfied to hear it's squeals of pain. When she feels one of the others looming behind her, she reacts just a little too slow, only turning slightly before she feels it's teeth sink into her shoulder. Gwen can't help but scream in pain. She had been prepared for the bludgeoning, but this was her first time being bitten like this. To make matters worse, this thing’s saliva seems to be dissolving her clothes. Concerning, but hardly a threat right now, so Gwen ignores it as she readies her next strike.

Before she can act, however, the Spidoose's head suddenly explodes, showering her in a black substance that can only be it's blood. It was.... Disgusting to be honest. A little blood was nothing new, but she was strictly nonlethal, so this level of gore was shocking to her. Dazed, Gwen looks behind her to see the sniper in question. A human, thankfully, so it's safe to assume she's friendly. "Hey hey Gwendy, think she's mind blowing in the sack too?" Belial asks, causing Gwen to shake her head slowly. "If we get through this, and that's what she’s into, she can have you as long as she wants." Gwen tells her weapon, in hopes that that thought will shut her up for a second, then prepares to continue the fight. Her puppet scurries along the ground before suddenly throwing itself atop the uninjured Spidoose, keeping it off Gwen for the moment so she can unleash a flurry of blows upon the one she had already injured.

Gwendy’s flurry of blows reduces her target to a mess of carapace and a black puddle, until finally the carapace pieces melt into the puddle as well. Meanwhile, the Mist Hunter fires another plasma blast at the pinned Spidoose, blowing its head to pieces and reducing it to a black puddle as well.

The moment all of the Spidoose have been destroyed, the nearby water behind Gwendy, the pool across from where Nero was laying, erupts into the air, creating pseudo-rain over the area as a massive octopus creature rises from beneath the surface. The creature’s upper body looked like a mutated four-armed overweight man, while the creature’s lower body looked like a blck octopus. As soon as the creature had risen from the water, it throws a jug at Gwendy, the jug shattering on contact with her head, and dumping a pink liquid over her body, which soaks into her remaining clothing, including her bra and panties. Almost immediately, a heat begins rising inside her chest and crotch, and her pussy begins getting extremely wet. Meanwhile, the Mist Hunter begins aiming at the creature, lining up her green targeting laser for the creature’s head. She fires another plasma shot at the creature, however it opens a strange, swirling black portal in front of the shot, causing it to disappear inside.

Gwen continues to pummel the Spidoose furiously, even when it seems to go down, she takes no chances and hits it with all her might until it disappears into a black puddle. Her new friend seems to take care of the last one in a similarly bloody fashion. Gwen lets out a sigh of relief and relaxes, but only gets a brief moment before a new enemy erupts from the water. "Oh, come on..." She groans, but once she sees that the monster emerged near Nero's unconscious form, she rushes to place herself between them. What was this abomination? Where had it come from? None of that mattered to Gwen in the moment as she dashes with all her might.

She skids to a stop between Nero and the monster, just in time to catch a jug to the face. "URgh! What the..." She grunts in surprise as it shatters across her head. "Wh-what the..." Gwen mutters as the liquid seeps through her tattered clothes, filling her body with a strange heat. Her breathing becomes heavy and her hand flies between her legs, she lets out a small moan as she finds just how soaked she is down there. "Gwendy, are you for real? After all this time, THAT'S what gets you going?" Belial asks in genuine disbelief. "Like HELL it does!" Gwen snarls, using the rage she feels to overpower the lust spreading throughout her, and takes up a defensive stance so she can have a minute to recover. Her puppet launches itself headfirst into the monster to distract it.

The creature throws another Jug at Gwendy, but while she’s distracted by it, a tentacle wraps around her ankle and lifts her off the ground, while a second wraps around her right wrist. Three more tentacles then dart at Gwendy, two slipping into her tatters shirt and beginning to grope her breasts by wrapping around them, while the third begins grinding against her crotch between her legs, through her clothing, rapidly. Meanwhile, the Mist Hunter stopped lining up her shot, her weapon’s barrel rotating to the Rail Cannon, after which she began attempting to shoot the tentacles that were approaching Gwendy, however the creature continued to open portals to block most of the shots, avoiding others by moving the tentacle that she was aiming for. As the creature attempted to slip a tentacle into Gwendy’s shorts, the Mist Hunter manages to get a shot off that severs the tentacle, blasting right through it, causing black liquid to begin spewing from the stump like a garden hose.

This time, Gwen is ready for the flying jug and jumps to the side, but as soon as her feet leaves the ground, a tentacle wraps around one and pulls her into the air. Just like her last fight, she finds herself getting felt up again, groaning as she fights against the sensations and lust she felt. Thankfully, looking at this monstrosity is as effective an antidote to aphrodisiac as she could hope for. Her new ally is attempting to help, but this thing is proving surprisingly evasive. The one tentacle she does manage to shoot off, while saving her from further molestation, also serves to spray her with more black blood. Gwen needed to get free, but having basically her left hand to do so with limited options. Only using blunt weapons wasn't starting to feel so great in these scenarios. But with a little bit of timing, she might be able to pull this off. Her puppet leaps at the tentacle holding her leg from one side, while she smashes into it with the tonfa in her left hand. It wouldn't sever the tentacle, but hopefully the force would be enough to knock her loose so she could escape.

The creature gropes Gwendy’s breasts harder through her bra, while wrapping another tentacle around her midsection, and slipping another tentacle into her shorts, beginning to grind two tentacles against her slit, through her panties, alternating rapidly. Her whacking with the tonfa doesn’t seem to accomplish anything, merely causing the tentacle to writhe a little, without actually releasing her. Soon, the creature slips another tentacle, this one into Gwendy’s panties, and begins prodding it at her entrance.

The Mist Hunter switches targets again, sweeping her weapon further down the length of the tentacles, before firing a missile at the creature. The creature, predictably, opens a portal to engulf the missile, however the Mist Hunter rotates weapons again, firing a laser at the missile, causing it to erupt in a fiery explosion that burns the tentacles that are holding Gwendy, and causes the creature to roar in pain, and retract that tentacle that it was about to penetrate Gwendy with. Despite the tentacles becoming charred, the creature doesn’t seem interested in stopping completely, instead throwing a jar at the girl. She quickly generates a green energy shield from her weapon, which blocks the jar, shattering it into clay pieces, then leaps backwards, onto an Illumination Post that was slightly further away.

Gwen grunts in frustration as the monster simply ignores her attack, followed by a moan as it doubles down in it's groping and rubbing. She grits her teeth, stifling the noise and breathes deeply through her nose to gather strength to free herself. Her only relief is that her ally seems to be preventing the beast from going too far, and with missiles being detonated so close to her, she can only pray that the Hunter's aim continues to be so precise. Still, the monster is stubborn and it seems like Gwen will have to free herself at this rate. Rather than stop at one hit, she whacks the tentacle holding her leg over and over, while her puppet does the same, bashing it's head into the other tentacles holding her repeatedly.

The creature’s tentacles squirm as Gwendy begins rapidly striking them with her tonfa, however it otherwise continues groping and rapidly grinding against her crotch. Meanwhile, the Mist Hunter switches her weapon back to the missile setting and begins unloading it, rapidly firing missiles at the creature, spacing them out widely, firing off at least 13 missiles, before swapping back to the laser setting and beginning to fire rapidly, each shot striking a missile dead on, blowing them up before the creature can void them with its portals. The chain of explosions is powerful enough that the creature is knocked backwards, and roars in anger, its body and tentacles becoming singed, several of them being blown off, causing the creature to drop Gwendy into the pool that Nero had been thrown into. While the pool is extremely shallow, Gwendy wasn’t being held up very high, so the fall only hurts a little. The creature angrily opens a portal behind it, and slides backwards into it, disappearing as the attempts to shower it with plasma blasts, only to have them nullified by the creature’s portals. Once the creature vanishes, the mist around the area lifts.

Gwen's best efforts prove futile, but thankfully the other Hunter has a weapon that proves much more effective. Note to self: She's going to need to teach Belial some more forms if she wants to continue to fight these beasts... The series of explosions is enough for the creature to drop her, which is good because if that wasn't going to do it, it felt like nothing would. Gwen grunts from the force of hitting the shallow pool, but quickly regains her footing, ready to capitalize on the damage already done to the monster. As she stands, she sees it fleeing into one of it's portals much to her dismay. Curiously, it does seem to take the surrounding mist with it. "So... That's it then?" Gwen asks aloud, looking around for any other surprise monsters to fight. "What, disappointed it's over so soon, Gwendy?" Belial taunts with a chuckle in response. Gwen drops the tonfas to the ground, however Belial assumes her fluid form and slips back into her pocket, still chuckling.

With the battle over, Gwen finds the puppet she had summoned standing idly by. Now that she could look at it, it really was just like the Aila she had fought earlier. "Aila..." She whispers, tentatively reaching out and putting a hand on the puppet's shoulder. No reaction. She should have expected as much, there was no way that thing could really be Aila after all. It's duty complete, the puppet dissolves back into a puddle of tar it had been born from while Gwen mouths a silent goodbye. Next, Gwen turns her attention to Nero. She would thank the other Hunter in due time, but Nero was wounded and she might need medical attention. "Sister Nero, can you hear me? Are you okay?" Gwen asks, kneeling in the water beside the Hunter, lifting her head gently out of the pool and examining her wounds, ready to pick her up and take her to the nearest hospital if needed.

Nero groans as Gwen lifts her head, her right hand quickly grabbing her left shoulder and holding it as she looks around the area “Oh dear, it seems you had things under control without my help, sister Gwendolyn.” she says, strain in her voice. She then seems to register the question, to which she replies “I just need to get back to my home, sister Gwendolyn, I can see to my wounds there, I have medical equipment.” she says, coughing up a bit more blood. Meanwhile, the Mist Hunter was climbing down from her perch, her gigantic weapon strapped to her back. Once safely on the ground, she very slowly began making her way towards Nero and Gwen, and rather than calling out to them, she waits until she’s within normal speaking distance to speak “You should not stay here. The Buckets will be on the way… and hunting monsters is strictly illegal.” she says in a high-pitched whisper. With her bandana over her lower face and her visor still on, Gwendy couldn’t see her face very well.

Gwen smiles and sighs in relief as Nero is at least able to answer her. "Well, I was holding my own, yeah, but I had some help too. I'm sorry you ended up like this when you were the one who came to help me..." She replies softly. Hearing that there was medical equipment at Nero's house, Gwen nods. "Alright, I'll carry you there then. Just relax, I've got you." She tells Nero, moving her other arm underneath her legs and slowly lifting Nero up into a bridal carry.

While they were doing this, the other Hunter was approaching. Hearing her address them, Gwen turns and offers her a friendly smile. "It was less hunting and more self defense... But I see your point. We live here so we can just hole up nearby." Gwen tells the other Hunter. "Would you like to join us? We owe you our thanks, Sister, and it will be a convenient place to stay while you wait for the Buckets to come and go."

Galatea nods her head at what the Mist Hunter says. She was pretty sure that was the case, but it doesn’t hurt to have confirmation. She really did the best thing for Lily by destroying her instead of trying to capture her or letting her roam the streets. It isn’t like another Mist Hunter wouldn’t have destroyed her anyway. This man was easily within murder distance if Lily had gotten away from her. Still doesn’t make it hurt less. Nor does it make her any less pissed when she thinks of someone else killing her wife even if she needed to die. In the end, it’s probably better this way. She logs the information on where to find Dressedge away and then watches the Hunter leave. “Manners, Gala.” So there is a limit to how rude Loveless is gonna let her be right now. Pity that. She doesn’t say anything, but she does return his friendly wave. Since Loveless doesn’t speak up again, she figures that was good enough. She decides against using her car right now. In her current state, she’d just crash it. And that’s before the very strong possibility of finding one of Lily’s possessions in the car to stir up memories over. No, it’s just safer for everyone if she hoofs it. Before she goes, there's one more thing she has to do, however. Turning to where Jorogumo's remnants were, she makes sure to pick up Lily's Wedding Ring Choker. She pulls the Ring off of it and adds it to her own. A piece of Lily would always be with her now.

The people or lack thereof doesn’t bother Galatea. She’s so deep in her own head she’d have ignored them anyway. “Would we rip out their tongue first so that they can do nothing but scream their terror to the world? Or let them keep it so they may beg for their pathetic lives?” Since her thoughts had mostly centered around what she would do to the assholes responsible for the Mist, this statement makes sense in context. “The begging would get annoying quick and nothing they could say would convince me not to slaughter them like the pigs they are. Tongue’s coming out.” She thinks back to Loveless. The conversation continues like this for quite some time, only interrupted with the idle thought “Why the fuck is the water purple and is it safe to drink?”

Her entire thought process is derailed when the fog starts rolling in. A growl tears itself from her throat as she figures out what that means. Well, that and for the fog reminding her of what she just had to do not long ago. She pulls her sunglasses down and sights the creature that must be making this Mist. “Fucker, I’ve had a helluva day and I’ve got no mercy for ya. Get the hell outta my sight.” As if to spit on her generosity, it takes a swing at her and almost connects. It would have too if not for the Mist Hunter kicking the thing in the face. The first thought she has upon taking the Mist Hunter in is “You’re a married woman, Galatea,” the same chant she repeated to herself earlier while in the amusement park. And then she remembers she’s suddenly not anymore. “You’re in mourning, Galatea.” She changes the chant to. The accent she hears only makes things harder before she hears the message the voice actually has with it. Then she takes in the monstrosities surrounding her and the Hunter. For some reason, each one of them makes her unreasonably infuriated, maybe because they remind her of what she just had to do not too long ago. Before she even fully realizes it, Loveless is in her Ringblade form in her hand and she’s glaring a hole in the horse creature in front of her. “Look, assholes, I just killed my wife when she became one of you. What makes you think I’m gonna take it any easier on you fucks? Cause I’m carving each of you into bite sized pieces!”

“Don’t eat them, Sweetie. I’m fairly sure that would be bad for you.” Galatea sighs internally when Loveless throws off her groove with that statement. She decides not to bother telling her weapon that it’s a figure of speech and she isn’t actually cutting them into snacks. That’s a discussion that can happen another time.

Bridge Battle
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The Mist Hunter twirls her scythe as the creatures draw closer, its rainbow blade creating a rainbow trail as it moves. “I’m going to give us some cover, Sister, please try to stay in it.” she says, as she raises her hand, her fingers quickly shape-shifting into brass tubes, from which a spray of rust-colored dust sprays into the air, before beginning to swirl around them in a rusty tornado. In a sudden blur, she dashes forward through the rust mist and flings her scythe towards the tri-colored humanoid, the scythe rolling across the ground like a wagon wheel, and slicing right through the creature’s arm, sending it flying off its body in a spray of tarry, inky black liquid. The creature doubles over, grabbing its new stump, and screeching in pain, while the Mist Hunter’s scythe rolls back towards her, allowing her to catch it with her left hand, and twirl it back into a battle stance.

The slug creature charges in from the side, passing behind the Mist Hunter, and attempts to grab Galatea, however it was nowhere near her blind spot, and makes loud sloshing sounds with every movement, completely eliminating the possibility of stealth. After its attempted grapple misses, however, the creature’s gaping mouth opens, and its massive tongue slips out, which the creature then uses to lick Galatea’s entire front, slathering her in slimy, disgusting, foul-smelling slobber.

Galatea may have threatened all the Mist Creatures with a painful death, but backing that up is gonna be a whole separate issue. For one, she’s only fought one and that was of a woman who had pretty much never fought in her life. She doesn’t know if that affects the combat ability of the Creatures, but if it does almost literally everyone else will be stronger than Jorogumo was. Still, at least she seems to have a semi-experienced Mist Hunter on her side. Not only does she seem to be a Chain with how her fingers twist into something inhuman, but her opening move lobs an arm off. Well, hopefully numbers don’t overwhelm here. It’s still 2 on 4 after all.

While she’s taking everything in, apparently one of the creatures takes that as an opportunity to try grabbing her. Well, a lifetime of avoiding getting groped makes it simple to get out of the way of that. The follow up completely takes her off guard though. It licks her. It literally takes its long ass tongue and drags it down her front. “...I’m gonna rip that tongue out now. It legally belongs to me.” She growls. Remembering the Jorogumo and how its poison fucked her up, she decides to see about earning that Chain title she now holds. Trying to imitate what she just saw, she focuses on trying to transform her mouth into a maw of poisonous fangs to bite into the thing. She accomplishes one. The other, not so much. She misses. Barely, but it still means it’s a miss. The feeling she drew from to make the transformation happen seems weaker now too. Does that mean she only has limited uses for this thing? Something to figure out.

When her Wedding Ring shines, she fully expects to see her ancestor pop out again, ready to do battle. She almost drops Loveless when she sees who appears instead. “L-Lily!?” She cries, hope and heartbreak mixing in her tone. But once the shock of the appearance wears off, she can start seeing things that aren’t supposed to be there. The ghastly tone, the aggression that she’d never once seen Lily have, the fighting stance that she’s damn sure her wife never knew. She’s not sure who’s in charge of picking out who she summons with her Ring, but she’s gonna have words for them later. How dare they take her innocent, harmless wife and pervert her like this!? As if to mix her harmless nature with the combatant standing in front of her, when the ghost goes to attack, she misses wide as if completely inexperienced with throwing a punch. A complex feeling of worry and absolute rage sparks in her. Worry because the clumsiness she sees displayed absolutely reminds her of her wife and how she’s really not meant to be anywhere near a battlefield. Rage because her form is here anyway. Someone had better have answers for her.

When Galatea attempts to bite the slug creature, it suddenly separates into multiple slug-like snake creatures, before reforming back into its vaguely humanoid slug creature shape. Despite the sudden separation and reformation, the creature only narrowly avoids being bitten by Galatea.

As Galatea is distracted by the spirit of her dead wife, a swirling purple mirror appears behind her, and the hand creature emerges, slamming its body into her, hitting her like a ton of bricks, before wrapping several of its arms around her midsection and hips, while two other hands grab her right breast, squeezing it hard, and a third hand slips between her thighs, grabbing her crotch. As this happens, Galatea can feel her stamina leaving her in large amounts. The Mist Hunter notices Galatea being attacked and swings her arm in the hand creature’s direction, splaying out her fingers, but what she was about to do is interrupted when the humanoid creature charges her, punching her across the face and knocking her back a step. She stops her backwards momentum, a look of rage on her face, as she whirls her scythe around and uses it to slash the creature’s leg off so fast that it remains attached for a moment, before dropping to the ground in a spray of black tar-like liquid, the creature shrieking and attempting to, in a panic, attach its leg again.

Meanwhile, the goat-like creature was struggling to climb out of the purple water beneath the bridge and back onto the bridge itself, letting out constant growling noises, but making little headway.

With the humanoid creature attempting desperately to reattach its leg, the Mist Hunter once again turns her attention to the hand creature and splays out her fingers, her hand shape-shifting into a clawed hand with the appearance of a diamond statue. A low wailing sound can be heard echoing across the bridge as a gust of wind swirls violently around the hand creature, ice slowly pouring from the wind as if it was many, many degrees beneath that of the air around the swirling wind. The ice almost makes contact with the hand creature, however as it was groping Galatea, snaps open its mouth and uses a swirling purple mirror to begin blocking the streams of ice hurtling towards it.

For a split second, the feeling of hands on some of the more sensitive parts of her body, combined with Lily’s sudden appearance makes her think that her wife is feeling frisky. Then she sees the ghost of Lily quite a ways away from her and realizes it’s that freaky fucker with more hands than sense. Still, that moment she thought she was in her wife’s arms was powerful. A shameless moan dragged itself from her throat before she realized what was going on. Then desire turned to disgust and rage. “I’M GONNA TEAR EACH OF THOSE HANDS OFF!” She shouts, feeling violated because someone besides her wife laid hands on her. Also ashamed that she got so turned on by it when she was mistaken that she lost strength for a moment. Still, the fucker is literally latched on to her. She can’t miss from this range. With a scream of rage, she brings Loveless down on its shoulder, trying to hack the limb off. “Tch. Annoying.” She hears Loveless mutter when the thing keeps it’s hands firmly attached to Galatea’s assets. Hell, the attack itself barely looked like it harmed the thing. Fighting Mist Creatures is a damn higher step up from beating down thugs and bullies!

She’s not sure if her own rage transfers to the ghost or if seeing someone lay hands on her pisses what remains of Lily off, but she launches a more vicious punch than she’d seen on some professionals off into the thing’s gut. It still doesn’t get the thing to let go, but between the two of them it’s gotta be reeling. Just one step closer to making it eat its hands…

The creature, when cut, sprays out black tar-like liquid into the air and onto the bridge, and when struck, lets out a loud screech, and flails some of its spare arms as if attempting to initiate a slap fight with both Galatea and Lily’s ghost at the same time. As it was doing this, however, it continued groping Galatea’s breast and crotch, while using yet another hand to begin lifting her top, and another to begin undoing her pants. The hand groping her crotch begins rubbing her slit with two fingers, through her clothing, while the hands on her breast grope and squeeze it harder.

While the Mist Hunter continues attempting to strike the hand creature with her ice attack, the tri-colored humanoid creature manages to recover, and a duplicate of itself suddenly rips itself from its back, in a spray of black and white bubbles, which pop in the air upon contact with the rust mist. The humanoid that’s missing an arm and a leg lunges at the Mist Hunter from behind and slams its remaining fist down on her shoulder, staggering her with a loud cracking sound, as her shoulder was broken. She cries out in pain, her ice attack suddenly coming to a stop. She growls in rage, then uses her remaining arm to swing her scythe at the creature, cleaving it in half from groin to head, the creature suddenly collapsing into a black liquid puddle, just as the Aswan had before when Galatea had killed it. As she was killing the original humanoid, the second attempts to attack her from behind, but she easily evades the attack, becoming a blur as she ducks under its wide haymaker.

As the Mist Hunter was struggling with the humanoid creature, the slug creature opens its mouth and fires off a stream of semi-transparent green liquid, foul-smelling, chunky, it splashes over Galatea’s body and soaks into her clothes. After it finishes essentially puking slime onto her, it gives Galatea a smug, toothy grin.

Meanwhile, the goat creature manages to make its way onto the bridge, and rolls onto it, laying flat on its back and panting heavily due to the exertion of having to climb out of the water.

After the Mist Hunter avoids the attack, she kicks the humanoid creature in the knee, knocking it to the ground, then she turns to Galatea “Sister, don’t move!” shouts, as she transforms her hand into a clawed crystal statue hand and generates the same wailing ice storm as before. Ice spears fire into the hand-creature’s body, causing it to cry out and screech in pain. In a blur, the Mist Hunter then dashes towards it and throws her scythe, causing it to roll like a wagon wheel just as before, cleanly slicing off all of the creature’s arms that it was using to hold and molest Galatea, reducing each one to a stump, spewing tar-like black liquid all over the bridge like a garden hose, as the creature flails its remaining arms as if attempting to bat the pain away.

Just as Galatea was free, the slug creature takes a step back away from her, and spews another geyser of disgusting slime all over her, covering her in so much green liquid that it pools around her feet like liquid fly paper.

Maybe it’s because of her rage, maybe it’s because of her commitment to Lily, but even as the Handsy fucker undoes her fly and rubs her pussy more directly, she doesn’t even react and barely even feels it. All it does is shore up her decision to have it eat its hands like it was on the verge of starving and just found a buffet. Still, being held in place has other disadvantages. Like the slug fuck spewing slime all over her. She’s not sure what the smug look it has on its face is for. She felt mosquito bites that hurt more than its barrage of slime. Lily regularly bit her harder in the bedroom when things got really heated. The fumes of the horrible smell are doing more damage to her than that “attack” then and that’s because she’s hurting herself trying so hard not to throw up. Is it because her clothes are soaked? The way they now mold against her body now? Is that why it’s so smug? Whatever, not her concern. Her concern is with the Mist Hunter. The French woman took a few bad hits there and while she made them pay for it, she clearly didn’t come out of that feeling good. She looks like she’s barely standing and that shoulder just ain’t looking good. Still, she has enough in her to not only dodge the double, but launch an ice attack so fierce that it finally makes the fucker let go of her. Or maybe it was the slice through? Well, they happened so close back to back that it could’ve been either one. Either way, she’s free now and she’s got a bone to pick with the fucker.

As if to remind her that it exists, the slug asshole pukes on her again. She’s not sure if it’s because she’s collected so much slime or if this batch was thicker than the ones before, but holy shit is she covered in it. She’s not sure why it wants her so loaded down, but it can’t be good. She decides to get away from it while she’s dealing with the Creature she REALLY wants dead. But she misses it. Again. She’s not sure if it’s the slime throwing her aim off or what, but she’s starting to get pissed off. Still, it’s not all useless. Since she can’t hit worth a damn, she tries her best to keep the Handsy fuck’s attention on her. It pays off when the ghost scoops up a few of its hands, tears open the hands that cover its mouth, then shoves them so hard down its throat that they burst from its neck. It almost looks like it choked itself from the inside with how the end result is. It goes a long way to calming Galatea down since it’s something she’s wanted to see since it started putting hands in places that belong to Lily. ...belonged to Lily. Having the ghost of her wife on the field is really starting to fuck with her head.

As the hand creature was being slaughtered, the humanoid creature attacked the Mist Hunter again. The attack misses, however the creature suddenly spawns another clone of itself from its body, creating a cloud of white and black bubbles. Amidst the cloud of bubbles, the new clone strikes the Mist Hunter in the abdomen, causing her to let out a choking sound, double over, and cough up blood. The Mist Hunter attempts to counter-attack again, swinging her scythe with her good arm, however the creature dislodges its arm from her abdomen and leaps back, managing to evade the slash. Immediately after the attack misses, however, the Mist Hunter swings her scythe around behind her back and grabs it with her bed arm, then dashes past the two humanoid creatures, pulling the scythe through both and cutting them both in half. Both creatures liquefy into black puddles when their pieces hit the ground. The Mist Hunter then spins around, facing towards the Slug Creature, then raises her good hand. Her hand shape-shifts into a skeletal hand, made of stone, then fires a black orb at the slug creature. The slug creature quickly dashes to the side, and the orb passes by the creature harmlessly, striking a portion of the bridge. The orb, upon striking the bridge, disappears, along with the struck part of the bridge, leaving a perfectly round hole where the bridge used to be.

Without a second’s hesitation, the slug creature splits into numerous slug-like snake creatures, each wrapping around Lily. Part of one wraps around her right breast, while others constrict her around her midsection and arms, and yet more wrap around her thighs, rubbing against her crotch.

Galatea isn’t sure what Creature the Mist Hunter absorbed to launch such a powerful shot, but she kinda wants it. She’s also glad she’s given the Hunter no reason to use it against her since it just straight up erased part of the bridge. She hopes they’re insured or the city gives a damn enough to fix that hole. Whatever, not her problem. Her problems are A) the Hunter who still has blood on her lips from spitting up a good chunk of hers and B) the monster currently groping the shit out of her woman. What she wants to do is tear the thing into so many pieces it can’t piece itself back together. If she thought being touched by Handsy was a problem, having Slug slither all over Lily is a disaster. “It’s not Lily, Gala. You need to remember that.” She hears Loveless cut in before she boils over. Right. Lily would never be in the middle of all this. She would have sought shelter long ago. She takes a deep breath and looks things over. The ghost seems utterly unbothered by the Slug on her so it’s either doing a shit job or a ghost can’t feel such things. It’s probably for the best to let her deal with that while she gets her head on straight. She moves away from the Slug and instead focuses on getting the mass majority of the gunk off of her. She’s not sure why it wants her covered in it so bad, but it can’t be anything good. Might as well cut that off at the pass.

Showing just how utterly unconcerned about Slug she is, the ghost turns to the Hunter, takes one look at how damaged she is, and makes her move. Her already pale form goes almost incorporeal as she activates her one Link. Galatea didn’t know the ghost was considered a Chain. Does that mean Lily could have been one as well? Can Chains get turned? Or is it because Galatea is a Chain? Well, there’s no way to answer that now. Either way, the paling is temporary as the light she cast off flows into the Hunter. She can actually see some of the injuries the Hunter took healing up. Interesting. If she was paying attention, she’d see Lily’s Wedding Ring glowing at the same time. But she wasn’t.

The Mist Hunter looks surprised when Lily heals her wounds “Thank you, sister.” she says, as she grips her scythe and dashes to the slug creature. She cuts off the creature’s “arm”, but it immediately grows an arm in its place, which causes the Mist Hunter to cry out in shock and attempt to create some distance by leaping away, however, mid leap, the creature’s arm wraps around her hips, while more slug-like snake creatures grow from its body and wrap around the Mist Hunter. One of the slug-like snakes slips under her top, while another slips under her skirt, lifting both, exposing her purple and black striped bra, and her matching panties which could be seen through her tights. She blushes and struggles, accidentally dropping her scythe.

Meanwhile, the goat-like creature finally stands up from resting, having spent a few moments on the ground after climbing back onto the bridge. Just as the creature stands back up, it charges at incredible speed to Lily and swings its arms in a two-handed strike, hitting her in the abdomen. The attack is so powerful that it sends her tumbling across the bridge.

"I sense... death." says a voice, in the mist. The voice was a high class, high-pitched woman's voice, with the slightest Russian accent. At that moment, a black sword blade, with gold edges, slips out of the goat creature's chest, and it's lifted into the air. As the creature is lifted, a woman with pale skin and long blond hair down to her lower legs, decorated with a black and white bow with a white rabbit clip in the center, wearing a black, sleeveless dress, purple and black striped stockings, black gloves with gold and purple details, and black boots with gold buckles steps forward. Wrapped over her shoulder and dangling at her hip, a pocket watch swayed from her body. Her face was covered with a black gas mask, with a red fang design, and red details, while her eyes were covered with a solid red visor with a black frame. Glowing blue ethereal skeleton arms erupted from her shoulder and began latching onto the goat creature's body, grabbing his arms, his legs, his head, one forcing his head back while two more latched onto its jaw and forced its mouth open. The girl's gas mask opened, revealing her mouth, from which low screams of torment were emanating, after which her mouth dropped open impossibly wide, and a blue fog began slowly being pulled from the creature's mouth and into hers. As the blue fog was being pulled out, the creature began to spasm, and a crackling sound emanates from its body as its bones slowly shatter and its muscles are ripped apart. Over the course of seconds, the creature lets out a horrifying shriek, then crumbles to dust on the ground. The girl then closes her mouth, followed by her gas mask, then begins running towards the slug creature, dragging her sword on the ground. With a better look at the weapon, Galatea could see that the crossguard was black with gold edges, and a purple gem in the center, and the hilt has a black spike, with a gem in the center, which reflected a Tarot Card on it. The slug creature quickly releases the Mist Hunter, recombining into its more humanoid form, then swings its arms, each extending as they hurdle towards the girl. She quickly lifts the scabbard of her sword and swats the arms away, then she lunges forward, stabbing the creature through the head, after which she swipes it to the side, splitting the side of its head open. The ghostly arms begin lunging out of her shoulder in an attempt to grab the Slug Creature again, however it splits into numerous slug-like snakes again, which quickly leap over the side of the bridge and into the water below. The arms retreat back into the girl's body, and she slowly walks over to the edge of the bridge, looking down into the water, but the slug creature is nowhere in sight.

Now free, the Mist Hunter struggles, shakily, to her feet, picking up her scythe. "W-well met, sister." she says, but the girl doesn't reply, merely continuing to look over the side of the bridge.

Galatea wasn’t sure what she expected from the end of combat, but it sure as fuck wasn’t that! She tried to get Slug to let the Hunter go, but grabbing onto him was like clutching slimy jello! Sure, she could hit him when she couldn’t hold it, but killing one part of the body did nothing to get the rest of it to stop molesting the Hunter. Then the horse face was getting in range to do some damage and bashed the ghost so hard she got knocked back a step. She didn’t look like she suffered too much as a result, but it showed she was about to have another problem. And then suddenly it was solved. She’s not 100% sure if the combatant that showed up was another Hunter or something else from the Mist. She has a (incredibly attractive) human figure and what she can see of the face is a knockout, but then she saw the woman dislodge his jaw and suck the soul out of the Creature she locked down and she isn’t sure WHAT Creature would give you THAT ability. The screams of the damned echoing out of her mouth doesn’t give Galatea a hint one way or another either. She wonders if Horse Face’s screams will be added to that chorus, but stops because she’d like to be able to sleep tonight without nightmares. She’s already gonna be hearing the sound of bones and muscles liquefying to become Soul Soup for years to come, she doesn’t need more trouble. She honestly can’t blame the Slug for cutting and running. If she were in its position, she would too.

And just like that, the fight’s over. And she has no idea what the fuck to do in the aftermath. “Manners, Gala.” Well, she guesses that’s a start. She grabs the Hunter’s good arm and helps pull her to her feet. “Thanks for the assistance, Sisters. This is literally the second time I’ve had to fight a Creature so… no idea what the fuck I’m doing.” She won’t share more than that unless asked. It still hurts to think about after all. While Soul Eater is just fine, she looks to the original Hunter. “Is your arm alright, sister? You looked like you took a bad blow during that fight.” Then she addresses the both of them. “What do I call ya’ll? I’m Galatea Lowell.” She looks in the corner of her eye for the ghost, but like her ancestors before her, it seems she disappeared when the fight stopped. Which, fuck! She had questions for that bitch!

When Galatea thanks the two for their assistance, then asks if the first Mist Hunter is okay, she smiles “You performed well for your second fight, Sister.” she says, after which she tests her arm, still shaky on her feet, then she continues “My arm seems fine now, Sister, thank you.” as she places her scythe onto her back holster. Meanwhile, the second Mist Hunter turns back to the two, but doesn’t reply. At that moment, the mist dissipates, and both Mist Hunters remove their visors, which allows Galatea to see the second Mist Hunter’s eyes for the first time, bright blue with swirling streams of lighter blue in them, then Galatea asks for their names, to which the first replies “Well met, Sister Galatea, I am Estelle.” she says, reaching out a hand to shake Galatea’s. When asked for her name, the second Mist Hunter finally replies, first removing the gas mask “I am Sariel Raphion… we allowed the Warden to escape.” she said, rudely, as she sheathed her sword onto her back, scowling. Estelle raises an eyebrow, staring at Sariel “I’ve heard that last name before...” she mutters, but quickly moves on “The Warden?” she asks, confused. Sariel rolls her eyes, as she uses a hand to flip her bangs “A Mist Warden is a creature that must be present for the mist to manifest. If it leaves, the Mist disperses, and if it dies, the mist disperses… the longer the Warden is manifested, the stronger and more intelligent it becomes, and the longer the range and the wider the distance it may manifest the mist at.” she explains, her voice somewhat condescending.

With the Mist clearing, Galatea finally pulls her sunglasses on top of her head. She should’ve guessed the visors both Hunters wear are a less fashionable, but probably better version of what she’s doing. She’s glad to see the French Huntress is well on her way to recovery. She isn’t sure if it’s the ghost’s fault or if the Hunter heals faster than normal because of her profession. Either way, she’s just glad it’s not a problem. After the introductions, her immediate thought is “Loveless will get along with Estelle. Sariel… not so much.” Loveless only excused Galatea being rude because she’d literally just killed her wife and she didn’t let it slide for long. The level of rude Sariel casually drops would have her weapon carving out Soul Eater’s tongue, washing it with soap, then sewing it back in to teach her a lesson. Which makes it a really good thing she hasn’t fed Loveless a mannequin recently so she can’t transform into a human. She doesn’t like Loveless’s chances against a chick who’s eyes glow with the souls of the Creatures she’s eaten. Still, Sariel’s useful if nothing else. She had no idea what a Warden was before now. So… Lily was a Warden? And if she’d let the monster her wife became roam free, she’d come back more powerful? She really did make the right call there. If there was anything left of Lily in there, it would have killed her how many people she murdered while she was transformed. Also, Slug is already pretty damn intelligent. It let Horse Face come out first, making her think it was the source of the fog and it booked it the instant the fight looked like it’d go bad. It was also tougher than the others in that fight. All that leads up to one conclusion. “Well that ain’t good. Fucker was already pretty smart. Smart enough to pull off human expressions anyway.” She bets if she tracks down Wardens, it’ll eventually lead to a source. A source will have answers to questions like “Why Lily, you son of a bitch!?”. But first…

“While I’d love to track that asshole down, I need to stop by Dressedge first. Someone told me I’m horribly under equipped for a Hunter and this fight only proved him right. Ya’ll wanna track it down together or something? Three swords are better than one and all that.”

Re: Leave Out All The Rest(IC)

Postby Littlemankitten » Wed Jun 17, 2020 12:45 am

Lilithania was certainly not quite expecting what she found as she went outside. She knew the mist often formed in a small area, but this seemed a lot larger than what she knew about the mist. It almost seemed like it covered the entire neighborhood, though it was hard to tell given how thick it was. Along with the mist, she could see a warzone happening in front of her, mist creatures sprawling the area, along with mist hunters, one standing out to her as a monster of a person, with a monster of a sword, slicing through mist creatures as if they were made of butter. Suddenly, she hears a door burst down behind her, making her jump and quickly whip around to face the source of the sound. A strange, spider like creature quickly moved to where she was at, and though it was extremely disfigured she could easily see her mothers face in the monstrosity. Another creature then joined it, and Lilithania grimaced. Had her whole household turned into these foul abominations? If so why was she spared? She didn't exactly have time to contemplated such a existential question, and she quickly readied herself for combat, knowing she would be unable to escape with her injuries. Before she could react to anything that happened next, a hulking figure came to her rescue and knocked what was once her mother away. Lilithania blinks in surprise then looks to what saved her. She could easily tell it was that monster of a human she saw fighting in the mist before, but now she could see that monster of a human was a toned, very tall, very hot in a 'I will kill you' way. Lilithania quickly gave the women, who didn't seem to happy about the situation, a once over before turning her attention back to the monsters and straightening herself back up. She wasn't very well versed in the various hunter cells, so could only barely place the tattoo the girl had. "T-Thank you... Killing the remnants of my family isn't the most appealing of tasks, but I shall help." She says cautiously. She wasn't about to let the mist get away with what it had done to her sister or the rest of her family, and so she felt more than a little obligated to strike them down. "A most interesting situation. Observe the power this mist hunter possesses, perhaps you can make use of it, and gain such power yourself."

Lots of Muscle going around
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The Spider that was once Lilithania’s mother immediately leaps at the Mist Hunter and bites her on the shoulder, sinking its fangs into her flesh. The woman scowls at the creature, then grips her sword, swinging it at her, the slash so powerful that it kicks up dust from the black-cubed pathways, however the creature evades the attack with such agility that it seems to vanish for a moment, before reappearing on an Illumination Pole. In moments, blood begins pouring from her eyes, ears, and mouth, but the woman seemingly ignores it, simply lumbering forward to attempt to slash the creature again, hefting her gigantic weapon as if it was weightless.

Meanwhile, the gigantic mass of muscle tissue that was once Lilithania's father slowly lowers one of its arms to the ground and begins to separate, a second creature with a more gray color began to form, until it was almost the same height as the original. Both creatures then resumed lumbering towards the Mist Hunter and Lilithania at such a slow pace that one almost couldn't be sure that they were moving at all.

Lilithania could hardly even follow the movement of the twisted form of her mother, it was like a blur to her, and before she knew it it had sunk its fangs into the woman’s flesh, despite the extreme pain that must’ve caused, the woman seemed more annoyed than anything and quickly retaliates, though the spiders speed seems to be a lot even for this mist hunter. Her face contorted into that of minor fear as blood dribbles from the woman’s face, though the woman again seemed to be more annoyed by it than anything. Lilithania, knowing she shouldn’t just stand there gawking at what was happening in front of her looked to what was once her father, seeing it peel its own flesh away to form another creature, Lilithania gags slightly at the grotesque sight, but does her best to keep her disgust at bay. Feeling her new found power surge inside her, a remnant of her sister outstretches from her hand like a phantom, letting out a wail of what sounded like despair before launching a blade at the creature. The blade raced towards the meat monster at a speed similar to that of the spider creature, and it embedded itself into the flesh of the creature, causing a large hole to form on its torso. Lilithania then threw the black mass that was her weapon at the creature, which transformed into her teddy bear. Her teddy twisted itself so its feet would hit the creature, and as it bounced off the flesh it attempted to swing itself upward to uppercut the creature, but mistimed its movements so simply flipped backwards onto its feet.

After taking Lilithania’s attack directly through its body, the creature seemingly melts back into place, covering up the hole that the blade had pierced through. When struck by the Teddy Bear, the creature jiggles slightly, then tilts its head, as if looking at the bear in confusion. It slumps forward, melting and then reforming slightly further forward, as if the effort of taking a step was difficult, then it lowered its arm, the melted muscle engulfing the Teddy bear, before lifting its arm back up and suddenly launching the Teddy Bear at Lilithania as if its arm was a rail gun. The bear strikes Lilithania with such force that she can feel her ribs crack and break inside her body, and the impact knocks her backwards into a Lumination Post so hard that the post bends forward. The creature's arm then extends forward, reshaping itself repeatedly and expanding to lengthen its reach, until the arm reaches Lilithania and begins slowly engulfing her chest, the muscles squeezing her breasts through her clothing, while also expanding downwards towards her lower body.

Meanwhile, the Mist Hunter stomped after the Spider Creature, swinging her gigantic sword at her, missing and slashing a Lumination Post, causing it to fall in half, while the Spider leaped from place to place, landing and leaping off of buildings as blood continued pouring down the Mist Hunter's face. The second Muscle Creature attempts to attack her from behind, but she leaps to the side and slashes at it, the weapon cutting clean through its body, but the creature just reforms itself slowly as if nothing happened.

Lilithania grimaces as the creature seems to melt and heal the wound away as if it never happened. Lilithania prepared herself to attack again, but in that time Teddy was engulfed in the mass, making Lilithania hesitate as she had to consider a plan where her weapon was eaten, mostly negating anything she could do. Suddenly though, the thing lifted up its half melted arm and launched teddy straight at her, before she could even react Teddy slammed into her and Lilithania let out a howl of pain as she felt something crack inside, and then a metallic gong resounds through the immediate area as she slams into the illumination pole. Lilithania coughs up some blood, then gasps as the tentacles from the creatures extend out and envelop her, she could feel her breasts get squeezed by the strange mass of flesh, and as it extended towards her body, she panicked and tried to search for a way out of this mess with the link she acquired, unsure exactly what she was doing, she simply willed some form of melee weapon into existence, another wail of despair resounding throughout the area as a blade forms from her arm and she slices as the mass of flesh trying envelop her. Meanwhile Teddy was ripping itself away from the flesh that still grasped it as well, and pulled on Lilithania to try and rip her out of the mass. However the mass of meat was far too strong for either of their efforts, and for every bit she cut it simply melted in on itself again and covered up the wound, and Teddy’s pulling wasn’t strong enough to free her.

The Muscle Creature’s arm extends down Lilithania’s body and slips under her dress, then into her panties, beginning to rub and grind against her slit while tiny tendrils pushed themselves into her pussy, and the upper portion continued groping and squeezing her breasts. Despite the action being completely and clearly intentional, the masses of muscle were expanding and contracting in such a way that it seemed as though the fact that it was molesting her was purely incidental, like the movements were a natural part of the limb’s existence.

The Mist Hunter turns to see the meat creature molesting Lilithania and rushes over to it, attempting to slash at the creature with her massive weapon, however multiple tendrils extend from its body, stabbing straight through her chest, abdomen, and thigh, causing her to cough up even more blood than what had already been pouring from her face. Despite coughing up more blood, the Mist Hunter still looks annoyed and bored, even as the spider creature leaps from an illumination pole, towards her. Just as the creature is about to strike the Mist Hunter, she spins, ripping the tendrils out of her body and slamming her massive sword into the spider creature, cracking its carapace and causing black liquid to spray from the cracks. As the Mist Hunter turns back to the Tendril that’s molesting and holding Lilithania, she raises her weapon again, and the spider creature, looking very angry, rises back to its feet and begins to leap at the Mist Hunter again, despite the very extensive damage to its body making it look as though it’s a walking corpse. Just before the creature can make its leap, a figure emerges from the mist behind it and jams a black metal Ninjaken with a glowing blue blade into the back of the creature’s head, causing it to drop to the ground lifelessly and liquify into a black puddle.

The Mist Hunter was a girl with long brown hair, tied into a ponytail that reaches her feet, with silver eyes. She was wearing a black cap with a white front with a golden Q emblem on it, an unzipped black leather jacket over a white stomach-exposing tube top, black short shorts with gold trim, black thigh-highs, and black sneakers with gold trim. She was sucking on purple lollipop, and over her eyes, she was wearing a black-framed sunglasses with one gold lense and one silver lense.

The girl’s attack allows the first Mist Hunter to hack the muscle creature’s limb off in a single swing, the attack being so devastating that it crushes the ground beneath it. Unsupported, the limb drops to the ground, freeing her Lilithania.

Lilithania yells out and writhes around under the mass of muscle, attempting to free herself as her teddy helps her, she gasps as the thing envelopes her crotch and thrusts a bunch of small tendrils into her. “What the fuck!” She shouts out in surprise and terror. The only consolation she felt to being violated by the thing is that it seemed almost unintentional. Her body flushes hot as it was molested, and her nipples and clit instinctively harden. However before it could do much else the mist hunter notices and rushes to her aid. Though the creature simply used its never ending mass of muscle to strike at her as well, stabbing straight through the mist hunter easily. Lilithania begins to panic, wondering if this thing was strong enough to get both of them at once and hold them down. Lilithania’s eyes follow the spider creature as it prepares to attack the mist hunter, Lilithania opens her mouth to warn the mist hunter, but before she can say anything the creature leaps. The mist hunter seemed to be a step ahead of her though, as she easily turns around and slashes at the creature, sending it reeling away. Relief washes through Lilithania’s body, the mist hunter didn’t even seem to notice or care about the mass of muscle that was piercing through various parts of her body. The creature didn’t seem to be done however, and it quickly picked itself back up to attack the mist hunter again, as this happened though, some form of ninjaken came out from the mist and impaled the creatures head, killing it instantly. The girl who then showed herself was quite cute, and Lilithania had to look her up and down a few times before reminding herself she was in the middle of a battle. Thankfully with the spider gone the first mist hunter could focus on the mass of muscle, and she easily hacked one of its arms clean off, freeing Lilithania from its grasp. Her teddy quickly helped her tear free from the dead weight of the muscle. Now back into the fray, Lilithania wastes no time once again channeling the link inside her, tears suddenly springing from her eyes from the constant use as despair washes over her. Lilithania points her arm at the smaller mass of muscle, a phantom of the link extending from her arm, forming into a blade. The blade then launches straight at the mass of muscle, impacting it with such force the muscle explodes outwards and coats the immediate area in blood and flesh. Lilithania then coughs and pants heavily, kneeling over and grasping at her thighs as she attempts to calm herself from the strange wave of emotion that hit her, and she felt as though she wouldn’t be able to use the link any longer lest she risk something bad.

As Lilithania destroys the smaller mass of muscle, the second Mist Hunter nods at the first, then dashes at incredible speed towards the muscle creature. The second Mist Hunter nods back, then dashes at the muscle creature as well, ducking low and swinging her massive blade at the creature’s lower body while the second Mist Hunter leaps into the air and slashes at its upper body. While the muscular Mist Hunter’s slash obliterates the creature’s lower half, the smaller Mist Hunter cleanly slices off its head. The creature’s remains begin attempting to reform, however the larger Mist Hunter extends her right hand, which shape-shifts into the head of a monstrous wolf with silver fur and shining silver teeth, which opens its gaping maw and fires a stream shining energy, which instantly reduces the creature’s remains to a black puddle.

As soon as the creature becomes a black puddle, the mist around the area begins to lift, the other Mist creatures dead or escaping, while the Mist Hunters quickly made their escape before the Buckets could arrive.

Lilithania manages to calm her nerves and recuperate herself just in time to look up and see the mist hunter brutalize the mass of flesh that was her father. The way they easily tore it apart made Lilithania wonder if this thing was even considered strong to them. The damage the first woman took almost seemed to not phase her at all. Lilithania was a little surprised to see the head of a wolf appear from the first woman’s hand, though Lilithania quickly deduced that must be one of her links. What else could it be after all? That final attack seemed to be the last straw for the mist creature, and it collapsed into a pile of muscle before quickly dissolving into a puddle of black goop. Lilithania looked around and saw both mist creatures and mist hunters alike quickly escaping the area, and Lilithania looked to her saviors. “Can I come with you?” She was still breathing heavily, and seemed unsure of exactly what to do next. “I only just recently discovered I’m a chain, I need somewhere to figure out what the fuck my life is now, and I doubt you have time to give me step by step directions to somewhere.”

Just as the more muscular Mist Hunter was turning to leave, Lilithania speaks, and she pauses. While the tall Mist Hunter doesn’t reply, the other steps closer to Lilithania, taking her lollipop out of her mouth and giving it a quick lick “Sister, I don’t think anyone would stop you.” she replies, in a high-pitched voice with a very slight swedish accent. “People are free to come and go as they please, and I’d be happy to talk with you about it.” she says, just before slipping her lollipop back into her mouth. The taller woman then finally spoke “Cosette.” she said, introducing herself at last, before starting to walk down the street, as if she didn’t care if the Buckets found her. The smaller Mist Hunter then seemed to realize she hadn’t introduced herself yet “I’m Sylvia. Well met, sister.” she says, before whispering “She doesn’t talk much, don’t think about it too much.” as she motioned with her right hand to follow her, turning to follow Cosette “Come along, we don’t want the Buckets to find you, they’ll arrest us in a heartbeat~” she says, continuing to wave her arm in a “Come along” motion as she walked. Just as their backs were turned, the black puddles that the creatures had been reduced to suddenly form into the skeletal arm that Lilithania had experienced earlier. One reaches out and grabs her face, while the other forms a palm and slams into her back. She feels the same sensation, as if her skin is being ground away violently, as the black liquid links with her, until both hands are gone.

Lilithania pursed her lips as the taller mist hunter paused at her words. She seemed almost annoyed, though Lilithania got the sense she was always annoyed, so maybe it wasn’t a bad thing. Her attention turned towards the shorter girl when the shorter girl spoke, she was relieved to hear that they didn’t mind taking her in for a bit. “T-thank you.” She says, slowly getting up as Cosette introduced herself, and then Sylvia. “Uhm, Lilithania.” Lithania figured last names weren’t exactly a thing among these people, she wouldn’t be surprised if they all lost their families like her. When Sylvia said that Cosette doesn’t talk much, and she shouldn’t worry about it much, Lilithania nods. When Sylvia then beckons her to follow them, Lilithania takes her first step before being stopped by the skeletal hands that shot from the puddle, Lilithania let out a yelp of a surprise, then a groan of pain as they embedded themselves into her, though this time she had a better idea of what was happening so she wasn’t exactly panicking, though it was far from a pleasant sensation. When the hands finally merged themselves with her body, she let out a sigh and shook her head before following the mist hunters. “You grow more powerful after each fight Lilithania… I wonder what would happen should you defeat these hunters, perhaps you’ll gain more than just a few links.” Avarice speaks up suddenly, but Lilithania doesn’t respond, she wasn’t about to contemplate such a thing now, or anytime soon most likely, she just wanted somewhere to get some food and sleep.

Her mind, fraught with terror as it was, didn't comprehend the many near deaths she had in her escape. The sound of crushed wood, the growling from the hound, the wind sliced through by a tail that was barely a hair away from slicing off her head in a relatively quick death. Audina ran away from the debris sprayed about from the attacks and rushed to her bike. She hopped on, kicked it in gear, and ducked low just in time to avoid another headhunting attack as her hovercycle began to hover off the ground, all as her head pounded with the drums of her heartbeat and Robin screeched warnings and fearful cries. He, too, would be ignored.

There was no need to listen to him. She was already in full flight mode.

VWWOOOMMM!! Her hoverbike sped down the streets into more crowded territory, with a pale Audina on top, taking periodic glances over her shoulder to keep watch of the monster that was once her friend. She bobbed and weaved down the highway, her bone-white grip on the clutch enforcing more and more power into her hovercycle... but since it wasn't high-grade, it could only go so fast, allowing Bi— It to keep on her tail. But the longer this chase goes... the more likely she was to slip. A failed check of the mirror. A bad turn. Even if the traffic gets heavier and she can't weave through it, she could potentially make a mistake and then...

"For the love a' God, please..." Don't think, Aud. Just run. Thinking means taking a moment to consider your situation. You can't do that. If you hesitate one time... if you so much as blink with this thing on your back—

"AUD!" Robin's voice finally punctured through her brief lapse of judgement. She felt the hovercycle violently tilt upward, destabilizing her stance and almost making her fall off if not for how tight she was clutching the vehicle. The automatic crash control immediately locked the vehicle and slowed down her limit-reaching speeds with blinking red signals. The world seemed to slow as she recognized the danger—it was slobbering on her head—and that steady beating of her heart... the rush of adrenaline, the flight of prey in the face of a predator, her sheer terror and need to survive... all slowed...

To a halt.

"..." It was in this time did Audina finally realize... that she had it all wrong. There was no escaping this. She wasn't supposed to survive. She shouldn't have ran away, in fear of the loss of her pet and the chance that she could've befallen a similar fate. She shouldn't have left Lucas back in the hotel, all those years ago. Nothing she's ever done since then has been anything she ever had the right to. And here in now, the mistake of her survival... and the karma of her sin..? Her mind was still coming to terms with its end. She wasn't fully prepared. Ideally, she could've said goodbye to Robin and thanked him for being with her all those crazy years. Maybe she could've apologized to Bitch. As his owner, Audina was supposed to protect him, but instead he'd become... this. And maybe... she could've said something to Lucas, too. She wanted to. Her hellmate would deserve some form of words... but Audina would be too late. The sharpened spike of the tail, waved threateningly to announce her end, came down with the speed and finality of a lightning strike to split her head down the midd—

Her hovercycle shook abruptly and violently, pulling the young woman from her fatalistic thoughts and further pulling the bastardized Bitch off her bike, thanks to a familiar hovercar on her right. Audina's wide eyes stared at the vehicle like a deer caught in the headlights. She watched as the window pulled down, revealing... her, coworkers? Zaetalia and Azaria? Where... no, why did they come? Confusion assaulted her brain as she owlishly looked on, ignoring more pleas and cries from Robin to watch the road. Zaetalia seemed to be pulling herself out of the window with something in her hand. The woman said something to her... something her brain couldn't process properly, but it did process the weapon that formed in Zaetalia's hand, and she could follow down the girl's sights to see... death approaching once again in the form of Not-Bitch's leap. Zaetalia took her shot, and in the next moment that Audina should've died, the monster form of her once-dog was totally dismembered and left whining on the road, with the resulting violence staining itself in her mind.

It ended like that. So abruptly.

... The sound of the world opened up to her again. "Th— thanks." She wouldn't look at them. With a slow turn, Audina looked back to the road, her head downcast and body... completely still.

Wordlessly, Audina glanced to the side of the street and took a turn to get to the side of the road. She needed off. Her hovorcycle would slide over the ground and put into park haphazardly, before the young woman would spill off of it like a drunken sailor and stumble forward a few times before she'd double over with her hands on her knees. Wide red eyes would stare at the ground. Her heart restarted, hammering in her head as her vision blurred and swam back and forth, her breathing uneven; rather, she was nearly hyperventilating. What was all of this? Why... why did any of this have to happen?!

It was all such a normal day.

The hour Avery spent waiting for the OVER agents to arrive was the longest hour of Avery's life. She sat on one of the stools at the little counter island in their kitchen. It was one of the few things that wasn't destroyed when Angelica transformed into that ... thing. She merely looks up at the ceiling thinking about all the good times the two of them hand. Unnerved by his owner's quiet demeanor, Xavier tried to fill the disheartening quiet. "You did everything you could have Milady" the weapon said taking a subdued tone with Avery. "Once the transformation is wrought there is nothing you can do to reverse it. All you could have done for Lady Angelica is give her a quick ..."

Before Xavier could finished, the door was blown off it's hinges. Surprised, Avery jumped off her stool and took a fighting stance beckoning Xavier to form up. It wasn't until more started to filter in that Avery recognized the armor as that belonging to the buckets. While she put her weapons down, she was still furious. "Who the fuck do you think you are?! Busting in like that. You'd better fix that door!" She yelled at the agents as they entered the room. While Avery continued to cuss out the Buckets, Xavier took notice of their various armaments. "It might not be wise to antagonize them milady" Xavier said trying to calm down the MMA fighter. But Avery was in absolutely no mood for Xavier's standard back talk.

Finally the Justicar came to speak with Avery. But to her, it was just another soldier in a stupid bucket. "Yea, no shit." Avery stated as she pointed to how much of a mess her apartment was. "My roommate, Angelica just transformed into this huge fucking monster with tentacles and giant eyeballs. She was just sitting on the couch and then the next thing I know." Avery paused for a moment and she could feel herself getting choked up. "As for what happened to it. I punched it into next week!"

Lilithania Loliata/Kitty
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The three eventually arrive at their destination, a large structure with plane gray walls on the outside, and a flat, slightly slanted roof. The building looked as though it was heavily modified from a parking garage, before Lolistan had become more colorful. On the inside, however, the floor was made from tiles that displayed rapidly shifting images that moved in time with the beat of the music that was playing, loudly, all across the building. The walls resembled one massive lava lamp, while pillars that were holding up the ceiling resembled separate lava lamps. The entire room was filled with other Mist Hunters, dancing, talking, or walking together. Sections of the building had been walled off to form rooms, the inside section of the walls being darkened, to give the occupants privacy. At the very end of the room was a fuzzy black throne, which Cosette slowly makes her way towards, sitting on it and crossing one leg over the other and relaxing.

As Sylvia walked with Lilithania, she began explaining how things worked there, her hand resting on her lower back "So, this is our headquarters. Cosette built this place herself, out of a parking garage, and allowed Mist Hunters bunk here at their leisure. People can come or go, however as long as they choose to stay here, they're to follow her orders. Though... she really doesn't give orders or speak at all." she says, before continuing "There are rooms that people can sleep in or claim as their own, though most people usually have to share a room until their combat performance wins them a room of their own. Oh! For Mist Hunting equipment, you can always check out Dressedge, they're friendly to Mist Hunters, and won't turn you in if they know you are one, and they have a lot of Mist Hunter equipment, such as weapons and belts. Most Mist Hunters shop there." she says, in a friendly tone. Finally, she stops with Lilithania in an empty part of the room "I also suggest finding some partners and sticking with them when hunting, or really even when you're not. It's always better to stick together, so that you're not unprepared for an attack, especially a Warden." she says, as if Lilithania should already know what a Warden is, but she quickly realizes this "Oh uhm. A Warden is what causes the Mist to appear, and they get stronger over time if they aren't dealt with. If one is sighted, it should be destroyed if at all possible, they're very bad news." she says, nodding slowly.

Galatea Lowell/Misc
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

When Galatea explains that the slug creature already seemed fairly intelligent and that she wants to track him down, but needs to go to Dressedge, and believes it would be more effective to travel together, Estelle replies first "That is an excellent suggestion, sister Galatea." she says, after which she adds "I would have recommended that you stop by Dressedge as well. It's quite friendly to Mist Hunters, and has a wide array of belts to choose from." she says, finally straightening herself out. Sarielle, meanwhile, replies much more slowly, rubbing her lips with one finger and looking from Estelle, to Galatea, then back. Her thoughts are suddenly interrupted by the black puddles on the bridge suddenly springing to life, becoming a single large torrent which forces itself into Galatea's mouth and down her throat. The liquid tasted disgusting, and was thick like tar, almost blocking off her throat for the nearly full minute that it takes for her to fully absorb the substance. Sarielle's eyes widen very slightly as she witnesses this, while Estelle quickly runs over to Galatea and attempts to keep her from choking by slapping her back, though it doesn't help at all.

When the absorption process is finally finished, Sarielle replies "You were not absolutely useless, so I suppose that I could spare some time to continue teaching you other basics of Mist Hunting." she says, once again flipping her bangs with one hand, smirking slightly. Estelle frowns for a moment, but quickly recovers from Sarielle's rudeness, replying "The more, the merrier!" she says, sweetly, as she fishes a Deathstick out of her pocket, pops one end into her mouth, then lights it, taking a long drag before blowing it out into the air in small wisps. Sarielle makes a disgusted face as she watches Estelle do this "That is the most disgusting habit." she says, before moving away from the smoke "Please, only do that away from me, so I do not have to bear witness." she says, starting to make her way towards Dessedge, Estelle frowning after her as she takes another drag from her Deathstick. "Hopefully she'll become more friendly overtime, sister Galatea." she says, in a friendly tone.

***

When the group arrives at Dressedge, Galatea can get a good look at the town square.

Dressedge was a large, black structure, with a green glow from the windows, and from the crevasses between the black blocks that formed its exterior.

Before entering, Estelle puts out her Deathstick and puts it in her other coat pocket, while Sarielle watches in disgust for the briefest of moments, before opting to just enter, which causes Estelle to put her Deathstick away faster and scramble after.

The group is met by a store employee inside, who makes his way over to them. "Hello, sisters, I'm Carl. If you need help finding anything, please let me know." he says, before making a 'right this way' motion with his hands, and bowing.

Gwendolyn Datchery/Blue
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

When Gwendy lifts Nero in her arms, asking her to relax, she can feel Nero's body relax against her own, having previously been very tense due to the pain of her wounds. Once fully lifted, she rests her head against Gwendy's chest, closing her eyes and wrapping an arm around Gwendy's shoulders. When Gwendy then asks the Mist Hunter if she'd like to hole up with them in Nero's house, she pauses and seems to consider it for a moment, before replying "No, thank you, sister. I must find and eliminate the Warden, otherwise it will merely move its mist elsewhere and wreak more havoc." she says, softly. With that, she turns and begins to walk away, down the streets, giving Gwendy a three-fingered wave as she left, and calling back "Peace be with you, sister." just loudly enough for Gwendy to hear her.

As Gwendy begins to leave the area, the black puddles that were left by the Spidooses transform into black, skeletal hands, which each grab onto Gwendy's body. The first grabs onto her face, while the second grabs onto Gwendy's right shoulder, and the third grabs Gwendy's right thigh, then they repeat the process of slowly forcing themselves into her body, the pain almost completely unbearable for the several minutes, seemingly, that it takes to be fully absorbed.

When Gwendy retires to Nero's house, she finds it unlocked. It was a small house, with a black exterior, decorated with pink wave-like designs. The door was bright blue, with a silver knob, while the roof was shingled with black shingles, with pink edges. The interior of Nero's house had a bright pink furry carpet, and bright pink furry furniture. On one wall was a folded up device that projects a viewing screen. The kitchen had black and pink tiled flooring, and fuzzy pink furniture, as well as a marble counter and table, and the usual cooking elements of a kitchen. In one corner of the living room is a cylindrical device with a chair inside, medical appendages folded into it.

If Gwendy places Nero in the chair, the device activates immediately, and begins administering several different types of injectors, which begin healing Nero's wounds. Even after her wounds are fully healed, Nero remains sound asleep.

Audina Falcone/Blah
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

As Audina was crouched on the ground, she could hear the vehicle pull over near where she had, before Azaria and Zaetalia get out and make their way to where she is. Zaetalia got down on her knees beside Audina and started gently patting her back "Yo, Aud, did you have too much to drink? You shouldn't drink so early, ya know, you just got off work. I mean... Azaria does, but we don't follow their example, you know." she says, as she gently starts rubbing her back. Azaria rolls their eyes and remains standing a few feet behind them, acting detached from the scene as Zaetalia insulted their drinking habits. Meanwhile, Zaetalia continues rambling "Is it because you almost died? I mean, ya know, shit happens... or sometimes doesn't happen... it all turned out fine, didn't it? We got your back, you don't gotta worry. We saw it... I shot it... my aim is pretty good, right?" she says, triumphantly, before adding as an afterthought "You uh... wanna come eat at my place? Azaria was about to drop me off, I was gonna make some dinner and stuff, chill for the night, Azaria is going back to their place, probably?" she says, turning back to Azaria "Ya going back to your place or stayin' a bit?" she asks, to which Azaria replies by nodding, after which Zaetalia turns back to Audina "Yeah, they're going back to their place, so it'd be just us two, plenty of food for us both. Ya know, I'm gonna be havin' uh... some burgers and lolifries, then some ice cream and lolicookies for desert." she says in a friendly tone, giving her a thumbs up with one hand, while continuing to rub her back with the other.

Avery Valentine/Mark
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The Buckets seem to take no notice of Avery cussing them out about her door, though one of the guys in the back scoffs when she responds to the Justicar with "no shit" in response to his announcement. The Justicar then nods as Avery explains what had happened, however when she says that she killed the creature with a punch, one of the scanner units begins tapping at a screen that's generated from his gauntlet. "I see. Yes, madam, the Mist can appear at any time, with no known cause and no warning. I must, however, inform you that due to Mist Hunting being strictly illegal, you are to come with us. You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be held against you. We will be putting you in a cell at OVER HQ, and then we shall put you on trial for illegally Mist Hunting." he explains, after which he waves a hand in her direction, to which two of the Buckets respond by approaching Avery with a black metal segment, projecting a pair of yellow energy cuffs which were standing open. One of the two Buckets grab Avery's wrists from behind and press them together, while the other moves to place the cuffs on her.

Avery was new to Lolistan so she wasn't up on all the rules and customs of the land. But one thing was for sure, these bucket heads were getting on her last nerve. And wait, were they planning to arrest her for fighting off a monster. It seems like police in Lolistan were as useless as ones on the mainland.

"Hunting?!?!" Avery yelled with fiery indignation. "I was trying not to get killed! I swear to god if you get close I'll fuck you up!" Avery's blood was boiling and Xavier could sense it. "Calm yourself Milady! This isn't the time to make a ruckus" the liquid metal stated in a calming yet urgent tone.

But Avery wasn't going to just let herself get arrested. Struggling to get her hands free, the fighter pulled her head back and attempted to headbutt the Bucket that was trying to cuff her with a loud "FUCK YOU!"

Galatea tries her best to hide her relief when both Hunters say they’ll go with her. After that last fight, she doubted her ability to handle the tougher Creatures or Creatures in numbers greater than one. Without Estelle or Sarielle, she would have been toast. Hell, with how things were shaking out, without Estelle AND Sarielle, she would have been screwed (possibly literally with how lewd these Mist Creatures seem to be. Nearly everyone in that fight got groped at least once!). And since Sarielle seems to know what’s what, she might learn a bit more about what’s causing the Creatures and who she needs to torture for the crime of turning Lily. She could do without the puddles though. At least she can say this one was uncomfortable rather than tortuous. All she needed to do was not breath. It was like swallowing the most awful, thick, putrid medicine ever and having to do it in one shot in order to get the full benefits of it. OK, fuck it, this was shit, but she’d do this a million times before she ever absorbed them through her eyes, ears, and nose again. When her throat finally clears, she gasps for air, only partly because she wasn’t prepared for that at all. She wishes she carried gum around. It’d be something to get this taste out of her mouth. She wonders how this works since, in the end, neither Handsy nor Double were her kills. The Ghost killed one and Estelle solo’d the other. So why did she get a double helping of Creature Soup!? Thankfully Sarielle ate the other one or she might have gotten another serving! SHE WAS KIDDING WHEN SHE SAID SHE WAS CARVING THEM TO BITE SIZED CHUNKS! Though honestly, soup is probably better than that. She’d have to chew if they were bite sized and she wants that flavor on her palate

“Blegh!” She groans, sticking her tongue out to hopefully let the air wash over it and get some of the taste out. “I hope Creature Souls taste better than their essence.” She says to Sarielle, trying to joke about the taste. She thinks she would cry otherwise. While Galatea isn’t a fan of Deathsticks, she doesn’t begrudge anyone who smokes them either. Yeah, they kill ya quicker, but so do a lot of the fun things in life. Besides, given her latest goal in life, what right does she have to mock someone barreling headlong to their death? She’s choosing a path that can put her against the damn government of Lolistan! Suicidal behavior if she’s ever heard of it! Still, she can only shrug when Estelle mentions Sarielle becoming friendlier. “I wouldn’t hold my breath. Maybe it’ll happen, but some people just aren’t people persons.” She says as she follows the aforementioned loner’s lead. She wouldn’t put leaving them in the dust for being too slow out of the realm of things Sarielle would do.

Dressedge… isn’t what she was expecting. She isn’t sure what she was expecting really. Actually, that’s a lie. From the way people kept saying she needed to visit Dressedge, she was expecting an eccentric, maybe even flamboyant outfitter who was the best in their field. So when she gets an entire town instead, she’s not sure if she’s disappointed or not. Well, the town is eccentric at least. The fuck is with the black cubes instead of concrete like everywhere else? Why green lights instead of normal lights? At least the Power Spire is normal, but given the size of this place, why do they need more than one? One in the middle of the joint should get all the buildings in the area after all! And what the fuck is with that Central Tank!? Having never been to the ocean, she’s never seen a fish she wasn’t about to eat, but this is ridiculous! She eyes the squids with mild suspicion though. After the day she’s had, she’s wary of anything with tentacle-like appendages. And of course the store they’re looking for is just as fucking eccentric. More glowing green shit, more spikes. This entire place just isn’t her taste. Who the fuck designed such an over the top eyesore!? With a sigh, she decides to swallow her distaste and just get this over with. It’s just a shopping trip and then she can get out and only come back if she REALLY needs something.

She patiently waits for Estelle to get done with her Deathstick before walking in with the French-accented woman. Honestly, they’re traveling together because they thought working together was a better idea than working apart. Leaving people behind where they can get jumped just seems like a stupid fucking idea. Still, they catch up to Sarielle quick enough so it’s not like it mattered all that much in the long run. She nods to Carl before looking over the selection. The quicker they get this over with, the quicker they can get out.

Seeing Nero relax and close her eyes, Gwen smiles. She had taken a beating trying to help Gwen out after all, so it was good to make Nero as comfortable as she could. When the other Mist Hunter declines to join them in favor of continuing the hunt, Gwen nods in understanding. "Be safe, sister. Thank you again." She tells the hunter, before turning to leave as well. What was a Warden? The thing that had run away, maybe? So monsters like that were the source of the mist... That thing had turned Aila into a monster, and she had just let it get away like that! It filled her with disgust to think of that. She wanted nothing more than to find that fat bastard and beat it to a bloody pulp. But she already knew she couldn't even scratch that thing, and she couldn't just abandon Nero either. It definitely isn't a good feeling, but falling back and resting is Gwen's best choice at the moment. As she was leaving the area, lost in thought, Gwen doesn't notice the puddles where her enemies had been until arms are reaching out of them and grabbing her. This was just like what had happened after Aila died, and it was just as agonizing too. Because she realizes what this is, Gwen is able to brace herself, only staggering slightly and able to keep herself from screaming in pain. Not wanting to disturb the wounded Nero resting in her arms, Gwen endures the pain as best she can until the puddles are gone. Does this mean she can summon those monsters, just like she had Aila? She's too tired to try it out now, so she simply hurries to Nero's house.

This is quite possibly the most pink place Gwen has ever been. She doesn't know Nero well and thus didn't know what to expect from her house, but this still strikes her as a little over the top. "Hey, hey, Gwendy. Do you think she has some of those pink fuzzy handcuffs too?" Belial seems oddly excited by the prospect, but Gwen ignores her weapon as usual, rushing to get Nero to her medical chair, watching anxiously as it goes to work. Nero seems stable, but still sleeps soundly, leading Gwen to sigh in relief. She could just head home now but... Well, OVER could be out there by now, and quite frankly, she really doesn't feel ready to head back to the place where Aila died. She can feel tears start to well up in her eyes at the thought, but wipes them away and turns her attention to Nero's kitchen to take her mind off things. She still hadn't eaten tonight, and now that the danger was over, she felt hungrier than ever. Gwen busies herself finding ingredients to make something quick and simple. It may be a bit rude to do so, but she sets aside a portion for Nero for when she wakes up, and figures she can pay the Hunter back if that's not enough.

Once she's finished eating, Gwen takes extra care to clean up after herself before lying down on Nero's couch to rest. Despite her exhaustion, it's difficult to sleep after everything that had happen, leaving Gwen lying there, staring up at the ceiling. "Hey Gwen." Hearing Belial, her tone unusually serious, Gwen looks down to see the liquid weapon poking out of her pocket, as if peering up at her. "We should fuck." Belial propositioning Gwen is nothing new, but hearing it so bluntly and in such a serious tone was unlike her weapon, and Gwen was honestly caught off guard this time. "Wh-where did that come from?!" She sputters, feeling her face flush like it so often had when she had first met Belial. "Well... You're still a virgin, and basically everything tonight wanted to change that. I just figured it'd be better to do it with me first than some ugly fucker." That... was surprisingly considerate of her weapon. It's true she's a virgin, and it's not like she was saving herself for someone special or anything... It's just never been something she thought about, until Belial brought it up just now. Still, this was a little sudden, not to mention Nero could wake up at any moment. "Not here... But, I'll think about it, ok?" Gwen mutters, before rolling over to try to get some sleep for real. "Just don't take too long, and end up regretting it. You know I'm always ready and raring to go, Gwendy." Belial replies, sounding more like her usual self, before slipping back into her pocket, while Gwen drifts off to sleep at last.

The platitudes and words... all white noise to the young woman as her blurring world spun with manifestation over manifestation, an endless cycle of mirrors looping on top of one another, her head filled with fuzzy emotion. "It was your fault," her mind would tell her. "You should've just died. Everything would've been better if you just died." Whispering words built into accusatory shouts. Her body shook at the force of the court's scrutiny, a wind to the great twister that bore down upon her.

What was she supposed to do?! She ran — of course she did, that's what she does!
She couldn't have saved him. Logically, Audina knew it was not her fault.
It was just a freak accident, it was all just a bout of fucked luck.
But she was still guilty. Bitch's death... was her fault.

... Her hurried breathing halted as it dragged out into a dying whisper as the violent storm in her head calmed to a rumble. That small calling of rationale finally got through to her, the words of someone nearby waking her up from her stupor and pushing her to respond. To say something. Be alive, and be present... at least to make things easier for her. "... Yeah. Sure— sure," she dismissively agreed without caring to consider the proposal. Audina was barely cognizant of what exactly she was agreeing to and had no intention of honestly conversing with Zaetalia. This response, itself, was merely a basic 'yes' to get the girl off her back and let her breathe. Would they have let her be if she said no? She wasn't sure.

Her weapon was silent. She didn't need it talking any right now, anyway. Without much care for Zaetalia's comforting gesture, the young woman straightened herself and stepped over to where she'd haphazardly parked her hovorbike. "You can... you can lead."

Lilithania wasn't entirely sure what she was expecting. Perhaps some sort of luxurious company headquarters building masquerading the true intention of its purpose, or some form of large hidden mansion deep in a forest somewhere given the money these mist hunters all must have... A dilapidated parking garage with some bits thrown onto it to make it look a bit more up to par was not what she was expecting. "A most underwhelming residence. Perhaps it will look befit of a queen on the inside." Avarice pipped up to Lilithania, making Lilithania grunt in response. It certainly wasn't what she was hoping for, but she supposed it made sense, given mist hunters generally had to hide and keep out of site to avoid getting caught. She hoped the inside would look better at least. However, a rapidly flashing dance floor that went in sync with extremely loud music was far from what she'd call preferable. She visibly winces each time the beat of the music vibrates her entire body , and the floor combined with the lava lamp walls disorientated her. The room was also surprisingly crowded, and Lilithania immediately hated the place. It was much too rowdy, loud, and strange to be in for her taste. When Cosette made her way to the fuzzy throne, she heard Avarice grunt. "So she is the queen of this place... She can have it, this is all very unpleasant." LIlithania had to agree with Avarice's assessment, she really didn't want to have to use this place as her new home.

Lilithania could barely heard Sylvia's explanation over the loud music, having to really strain her ears to actually hear her explain how Cosette built this place and how people can come and go around this area, and that Cosette generally didn't tell them to do much. Lilithania paid much more attention to Sylvia explaining Dressedge, as that felt like something she'd frequent a lot more than this place if she could help it. Lilithania nodded along to show she was listening, and occasionally had to motion that she didn't hear Sylvia so she had to repeat it. Lilithania's eyes especially widened at the revelation of the warden's though. She had no idea where the mist came from, as far as she was aware it just appeared at random whenever it felt like it, but to hear that it actually had a source was big news indeed. Once Sylvia was finally done with her explanations, Lilithania sighs. "Is this the only hunter hideout? I kinda really dislike it here right now." She had to yell in order to throw her voice over the sound of the blasting music. "Also where is Dressedge at? What can I expect for mist hunter equipment? I imagine its very pricey but very good. Also is killing a Warden permanent , or do they always come back or get replaced or something?"
I hurt you, I heal you, I hurt you again. That's the pattern.
