Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Name: Cadence Lumeris
Age: 19
Appearance: https://chan.sankakucomplex.com/post/show/8286487
Bio: Cadence's parents are unknown to her. Her former master could only tell her that they must have left her in the woods and that she was lucky he found her before the wild animals did. He also told her to never stray too far or worse to have contact with the people from the outside world. This was easy to accept as a child but got harder with every day since she turned 14 or so and her curiosity began rising to overshadow her trust into her master's advice.

Throughout the years her master has taught her to read and later his ways in magic. This was pretty much the only thing to sate her boredom and she soaked up everything like a sponge, wanting to learn the next harder thing day after day until she has read all the books her master possessed 3 times over. With nothing new to do her mind began searching for other avenues to find new experiences and of course sex, which her master told her should be of no interest to someone studying magic, came more and more into the forefront. Her curiosity makes her want to try everything at least once and her stance to sex was no different. Sadly her master was really not in any way, shape or form appealing to her in that sense and the wild boars that were prominent around their part of the forest weren't either. This only left her to experiment with her own hands and later all kinds of magic. When her master finally passed away, the last straw that kept her at bay broke and she knew she couldn't keep living the rest of her life alone in the boring forest.

You have to admit, a part of you is a little apprehensive leaving home. You had known that stone house and the surrounding woods your entire life, and while it sure was boring at times, over all you had a lot of good memories here. Granted, all of your memories were from here, so that might put a bit of a warped perspective on that sentiment, but still. At the very least you'd miss the books, as well as the scenic quiet creeks and falls you had found about. And hell, maybe you'd even miss the boars a bit too. They could be rather tasty after all.

Still, you wanted a little more in this life then just minding your own business secluded away from the world. You wanted to learn new things! See new places! Meet people! And get laid dammit! You like to think were getting pretty creative with magic at this point, but at the end of the day it was still just you, pleasuring yourself. Magic constructs and shadow apparitions didn't count! But they were pretty decent stand ins for a while at least. But hey, at least you didn't break so much you settled for one of those boars right? No no no. If you were going to try something like that, you had much grander creatures in mind. Like noble horses from the story books! That would be much more deserving then some stubby dumb boar, though perhaps a fellow human would be more ideal.

Still if you wanted to do anything like that you had to find your way back to civilization first. And your adoptive father hardly kept any good maps. You had a rough idea where the nearest road was from your home, but the trails this far out were pretty over grown, and there was some annoying goblins here. Still, your pretty sure you know where you are. As long as keep heading in the same direction your bound to find something right? Well if you don't you suppose you could just head for some high ground. By your estimates the closest town shouldn't be anymore then ten leagues away. A day journey really through this kind of terrain unless you wanted to call upon some magic to assist in that.

Delving in the fond and not so pleasant memories of my life up until now, I part with the place I grew up in, wondering how long it will be until I may see it again. Though the overwhelming feeling coursing through me was the excitement to finally venture out into the world that my adoptive father has kept from me, or rather secured me from rather overprotectively in my mind, knowing that despite my looks I have moved far past the little girl he rescued from the forest long ago and was fully capable of protecting myself and much more.

Of course now I was somewhat overwhelmed with the possibilities and had to plan my steps carefully. Where to go and how to get there? Prior of course was to be solved first. Closing my eyes I murmur the words to produce an all seeing eye, a pretty neat and useful spell, allowing me to see what surrounds me from a different perspective, from high above the trees in this case. Getting a clear view of the terrain, I search for any indications of civilisation on the horizon, hopeful to find something but ready to just head to the old roads from my memories if not.

Now to the latter. Completely used to it by now and with no feeling of shame, I quickly disrobe, putting all of my clothes into my sown together backpack before transforming into a wolf, thinking a canine body would be much better suited to cross through the thick forest on a fast pace. Quickly, white fur begins to grow all over my body and my anatomy changes, my nose extending together with my teeth and tail as I hunch over to where my new paws touch the ground. Fully turned I shake my whole body like I was a wet dog, it always helped to get into the feel afterwards and I somehow just had an urge to do it every time.

Taking the strap of my things into my snout I swing it behind me, or rather onto my back now and begin to run towards my goal. The feel of the wind in my face as I haste through the forest would never get old, but this time the feeling of freeness was even more amplified by the unknown future in front of me.

Taking on the form of a wolf, you find the terrain much easier to deal with even if you are still wearing a backpack. You run through the forest at high speed, bounding through bushes and darting around trees. Heck you find yourself even having such a good time that you take the odd break to chase the odd small critter you see, though of course you never actually make a kill. Just because you could transform into a wolf didn't meant you didn't like your food cooked after all! Well in any case, you try to consult your map as frequently as possible, but it's rather hard to reference your position on it. You could only really hope that it was relevant, and that you were confident you were heading the right way. You knew your cardinal direction pretty well mind you though, so you were like at least 90% sure.

After five leagues or so, you think you've got to be pretty close to the road at this point, so you find some high ground so you can observe the area, maybe consult your map again. You find a pretty high up cliff side, and after about twenty minutes you have a commanding position that oversees much of the land before you. However before you look at your map you notice a plume of smoke in the distance to the northwest. Maybe about a third of a league away. You can't hear much, and you deem to be upwind of it hence why your wolf form didn't catch the scent of smoke. Surely it must be travellers on the road? Either way, it was a hint of someone, or something, new.

It's not by much but the longer I run without finding anything, the more the slight doubt that was in the back of my head speaks up about just going back and staying safe. This was a rather drastic decision after all. But I push on. Yeah it was drastic, but what other choices did I have? Humans are social animals after all. I needed to find something, someone more for my life than what I left behind.

Seeing the streaks of smoke in the distance only drives this resolve home, smuthering what little doubt I had as I run towards it. I hope to be able to get closer to find out what it was about without getting noticed at first, if it turns out to be dangerous. Once in range I would use a bit of magic again to see inside and get some intel on the situation.

You have no issue getting to the scene where the smoke is, your wolf form loping through the forest terrain with extreme ease and letting you close in on the suspect location. Eventually, you hear some muffled shouts, and with some excitement you recognize english! Well at least communicating shouldn't be an issue should you need to speak. That was a relief at least. Of course though you'd still like to get a good look at things before just rushing in blindly in your excitement.

Luckily you manage to find a bit of dense foliage to hide in at the edge of the clearing without alerting anybody, and what you see ahead of you is quite exciting! There has to be a nearly fifty humans here! Most were dressed in a combination of leather and steel armour though, and a fair few had glittering helms with brilliant red plumes. All over the place there are small four man tents, and an abundance of spears and tall shields. This was clearly some sort of army encampment! You try to thing of the name of the nearest kingdom. The one you had technically lived in all your life even, but the name escapes you for some reason. Living out on your own, it had hardly seemed important or worth remembering in the past. Now you find yourself annoyed by the oversight. It certainly wouldn't happen again that was for sure! You'd check your map and give it good read in the future when you had the chance.

As exciting as it all is though, what dominates the camp is a huge iron cage, which within lies a great big emerald green dragon of all things! The thing is covered in chains, and looks quite tired from what you can tell. A single guard stands nearby, watching the woods with the rest of the camp behind him. Luckily for you though, he was on the other side of the cage from your position. The unlucky part, the rest of the camp was between you and the closest part of the cage. You know dragons are intelligent sentient creatures. What were these men doing capturing one you wonder?

Looking to your left, there is access to the road, where to your benefit, a random stranger appears. A random soldier stops the man for a moment, they talk for a bit before both laugh and the soldier lets the man go on his way down the road. If you want, you could return to human form and simply walk past on the road, leaving the whole situation behind. But of course, you might be able to talk to the soldier and ask what was going on here. Despite appearances, the humans themselves didn't seem hostile... but... it was hard to say really.

Seeing the poor creature, it's magnificence chained up in a crude cage hit a sore spot in me. I just managed to escape my own prison so to speak and could only imagine how hard it was for the dragon. I got quite angry but kept my cool for now. If I wanted to free the poor thing I first would need to know what was going on. So first I get back into a human form, making myself look even less threatening by making myself look much older, around 30 years older in fact. Once clothed and ready I would approach the soldier guarding the road. "Greetings soldier. Is anything wrong along this path? Is it save to travel or what's the reason for this blockage?...Oh my. I-Is that a dragon, sir?"

I hope the disguise as an old traveling women and the apperant fear in front of such a great beast will ease his mind and given that he won't see a threat in me, I could be lucky and get some useful information out of him. Of course no matter what he says I will also need to have a 'talk' with the dragon if he let's me pass like the last passerby. Given their high intelligence I'm pretty sure I could establish a telepathic connection with it and get it's side of things, working out if there is a way for me to save it.

CHA Roll: 13 + 3 = 16

With a plan in mind you action it, transforming yourself back to human and artificially aging yourself to make yourself seem less threatening, but not so old that you look too weak to travel. You head out onto the road and and approach. The guard ahead is quick to spot you, but things go well enough as he barely reacts, just standing a little straighter as you get closer and speak with him. "It is! An adolescent green dragon or so I'm told, though I imagine it's still probably older then I am. He'd been attacking cow herds at the village south of here. With a bit of trickery, we managed to track him and subdue without a single loss!", The man says with proud pep in his voice. If that was so, then perhaps these soldiers were more dangerous then even first glance. Granted though, it seems like they caught the dragon without a direct confrontation considering the size of the thing. "Anyway, your free to pass ma'am, but the camp is off limits.", he says, stepping to the side and gesturing to the road with his spear casually.

First hurdle passed, you begin to walk by, slow as you reasonably can, then reach out with your mind and magic to the dragon. It doesn't react much physically, but a golden eye quickly falls upon you, staring at you as a powerful but weakened presence touches your mind. "What is this? A soul singer? I did not think that was any of your kind left since Emperor Hadrien had taken the throne, what are you doing here little one? If I were you, I would go back to whatever secluded area that was your home.", the dragon's voice echoes in your head.

I have to fight back my disgust as the soldier boasts about their catch. A dragon was to be respected, having roamed this earth longer than any of us, living freely which obviously was something I envied them for. That only made it worse to see it caged in and robbed of it. I was already pretty much comitted to break those chains even before I got the other side. The excitement of the succesful connection just a bonus hardening my resolve in thinking that it couldn't deserve such conditions.

The advice to hide again was painful. What could have happened back then? Explaining who I am I try to find out more "I don't know much about the past. I grew up not far from here with my master who found me as an infant. I trained under him, but he sadly passed away not long ago. He also told me not to ever stray to far away. What happened when whoever Hadrien is took the throne? Was he who my master was protecting me from?"

I was finally getting closer to how I might fit into this world, but I also wanted to declare my alliance with the magical beast. "No matter who he is, I'm gonna get you out of here. Is there anything I should know about those soldiers or the cage and chains your in? Are you strong enough to fly, or did they hurt you?" I try to get as much information as possible before I finalize my plan. This wasn't a game and there wasn't any room for errors, so I take everything into account.

"I cannot say for certain little one, but if he told you to never stray far away from home then it is quite likely he knew what you were. Emperor Hadrien has an intense hatred against Soul Singers such as yourself. He believed that they conspired with other races to keep the common folk down. He led a swift and nightmarish attack on the imperial palace nearly twenty years ago in the capital of Aethenia, and murdered the entire royal family from what I hear. I don't know exactly how I happened, or how he managed to take power after murdering the previous well liked rulers, but he did. Now he leads a campaign of ever expanding conquest, trying to subjugate all other races and kingdoms, all while leading a campaign of extermination against human Soul Singers.", the regal dragon explains.

That... that was a lot to take in. Damn!

When you ask him how to best free him the dragon gives you a curious gaze as you slowly walk by on the road, his head tilting a bit as he examines you. "You would do this for me? Such actions give me hope for the future of your kind. Perhaps in the future things can go back to how they once were before Hadrien usurped the throne.", he starts. "If you can manage to get the key for my chains from the cage guard near the rear of my cage, and unlock my ankle chains, I can handle the rest from there. The chains are enchanted to sap my strength significantly. If you can release me from them, breaking out of the cage and escaping shall be trivial. I was not wounded when they captured me, as they smeared some sort of sleeping potion over some sheep to incapacitate me when I was trying to discourage the villagers of the nearby town to stop trying to attack my cave.", the dragon explains.

Examining the situation real quick, you see the one guard he speaks about. The man leans against his pila, absently looking out into the wood line in front of him. He is clearly bored and not paying to much attention, so using your magic it should be relatively easy to get the key from him and release the great green dragon.

Not only was I more than ready to save this great ancient out of respect, but now I would possible even get some hints about my past from him, something I haven't paid that much thought to for a long time, but lingered deep inside me. "Thank you! You are the first one I met who could tell me something, anything... Though you are the first one I've met other than my master, so there that. It would be my honour to save you. I will handle the chains."

Thanks to the detailed explanation from the dragon, I now have a way to do this without the use of violence. The guard seemed really relaxed. He probably hadn't gotten a full night of sleep for a long time. Maybe I could help him a bit with that...Leaning like he was, it probably wouldn't alarm the others right away if he dozed away.

I stach away my belongings once again and hide the bag in the bushes in a safe distance from the camp. I needed to slip in without being noticed, so what would be better suited than a mouse. Plus they were dextrous enough to operate the key once I had it. So once I came back closer to the edge of the perimeter I shift to exactly that, whizzing past the tents and supplies to not draw in attention.

Once I was close to the target I used a similar technique as with the dragon to connect to his mind. It was immidiatly clear that he was of a much smaller caliber than the great beast and that he could do nothing to defend against attacks on that front. Steadily I calm him more and more to the point where his eyelids start to fall closed repeatedly, until they don't open again.

There was my chance. Him subdued I pace towards him and climb up his leg to his waist, where the key was stached away. Grabbing it with my snout I make a run for it into the cage to fulfill my promise to the dragon, unlocking him from his chains and telling him. "That was the last one. Give me a headstart to get away and then you can take off."

Your plan goes off without any problem, the lone guard quickly succumbing to your sleep spell, leaning heavily on his pila and somehow not falling over. Such is some fantastic luck in your favour really, and you don't intend for it to go to waste. Taking the form of a cute little brown mouse you quickly dart into the open, no seeing you at all thanks to your small size and you quickly climb up the guard, grab the key, and then make for the cage. You see a giant dragon eye flick toward you for a moment as you scramble into the cage, slitted Iris tracking for a couple second before he goes back to looking straight ahead, trying to keep as incognito as possible as you go about the business of unlocking the manacles around the great dragon's massive ankles. "When I escape, continue north for a while until you reach a bridge crossing a shallow river. Once you are there, head east along the river until you read a fork. Cross the river there, and within the fork you should find an old farmstead, lost to time. Meet me there.", the dragon telepathically tells you.

That said you retreat back into the woods, and five minutes later your suddenly hear a loud roar, and sound of splintering wood, and the alarmed shouts of soldiers. As you head back to the road and resume your usual form you see the great dragon take off and head south at a speed no company of soldiers could ever match. Despite this though, within a few more minutes note the soldiers packing up their gear rapidly and heading back south in pursuit.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Hey. Sry for not posting for so long. Things got quite weird as you probably know.

Looking up, I watch the dragon soar through the sky and smile, knowing I had done my first good deed of this new life and even better than that, I now actually had a place to go and look into my past thanks to it, which I immediatly plan on doing. I'm also pleased to see that the dragon didn't turn out to be filled to the brim with enough hate to kill the whole camp. After all most if not all of them just follow orders, which doesn't exactly excuse anything but sure is a better explantion than thinking of them as inherantly evil.

What confuses me a bit is that the dragon heads south whereas they told me to go north, putting up the question what they might have to do before we meet again in the hopefully near future.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Oh quite alright. Nice to see your still around!

Your spend a few minutes pondering why the dragon heads south, but thinking about it some more leads you to the conclusion that the great dragon with the power of flight means to throw off his pursuers. Fly off until out of sight, making the small company of legionaries think he was simply heading back to his old home and the village he had been supposedly terrorizing. But once out of view he'd fly low and circle back perhaps? Flight was a near unbeatable advantage in escape when escaping from mere regular men after all.

And so, with not much else to do, you follow the dragon's directions. Between all the markers you get the uncomfortable feeling that perhaps you had lost your way, but it seems just as you feel like you might be lost you find what your looking for to continue your search. All in all it takes a good four hours till you finally find the place he explained for you. A fork in the river, where two smaller ones meet to create a larger. Between the split a lightly wooded spot of forest, quite far from the road you had left behind a little while ago. There you see an old shell of a farm, an abandoned and desiccated farmhouse and barn, with modest fields now taken over by small trees and other wild plants, interspersed with the odd leftover crop seeds that had been allowed to reproduce unhindered by annual harvest. You could salvage quite a bit of food here perhaps, and buildings seem sturdy enough.

You cross the shallow river and enter the lonely farmstead. Where was your new dragon friend you wonder? Just as you ponder the thought though the barn's shadow stirs, and out of it comes the head of the majestic emerald scaled dragon you had freed earlier, his enormous tilting slightly as he examined you. "Ah you've arrived. I was beginning to think I might've been to vague in my directions. Forgive me. It's been sometime since I've communicated in the common tongue. But please, come closer if you will.", his voice echoes gently within your mind.

The long streaks of unknown really test my trust and patience, but it seems to all pay off when I finally find the described locations. Seeing this old barn reminds me that such a fate would be quite sad to see for my own home. Of course over the years my master and I had perfected it's protection charms, but those would also falter after a few decades without a source of magic to renew them...

Of course what was once broken, can always be prepared. And if this was to become a more frequented place of rest for me and my newest friend I would be sure to take good care of it. Finally spotting the dragon the last bit of the vague feeling, that I might have gone somewhere entirely wrong vanish and I smile broadly as they greet me. "I was beginning to think that as well, but now that we're both here it seems to have worked out fine." I reply jokingly and close the distance between us like they asked me to.

"So what exactly is this place? You said it was lost to time. Did you know the people who lived here in the past?" I ask, not quite able to contain the many questions I had for him, even though he was probably going to tell me those answers anyway if I waited for them.

"I did actually. A human family with strong moral convictions that I respected quite a bit, ones that I'm proud to say where my friends.", The dragon says telepathically before a look of sadness fills his golden coloured eyes. "Back in the initial days of Hadrien's bloody uprising Soul Singers fleeing from the heartland would be sheltered here without a second though of the residents. I helped them quite a bit in their trafficking in truth. But during a period I was absent Hadrien's forces discovered the location. The troops killed everyone here. It hurts knowing I was not here to protect them. Though kind and valiant folk, they were still just simple farmers.", the dragon elaborates as you get closer, a sombre look on his naturally fierce looking draconic features as he examine the overgrown ruin that was the farmstead.

He's quick to push the darker thoughts and past regrets from his mind though, his massive head turning back and leaning back down toward you till the tip of his broad snout is just a scant foot away from your face. From the distance now you pick up a slight scent that remind of you fresh cut grass on a cool day, though there is also something distinctly... male about it. "But such is the distant past, and I imagine you have much more pertinent questions to ask. The same with myself. Before we get into that however let me introduce myself. I am Tearadyr, one of the northern watchers.", he says.

It saddens me to hear his story and the anger inside me towards whoever this Hadrien is grows by the second. As he gets close to me an urge to comfort him materialises and I carefully reach out to touch him, unsure if this would be disrespectful to him but expecting him to back away from my hand if that was the case.

"I'm deeply sorry for you. But I'm sure none of them held your absence against you. So don't do that to yourself. The only ones deserving of such feelings are the ones reponsible." I reply. As he moves on though I also try to respect that and take a deep breath to compose myself. "I'm honored to meet you Tearadyr. My name is Cadence Lumeris.", I say, introducing myself in turn. "As I told you earlier I only ever remember living with my master in the woods not far from where I found you but I will tell you everything you want to know."

Using the opportunity to ask questions as he offered I by asking: "You said you were one of the northern watchers. Are there more of them left than just you? And what about the south, west and east. Do they have watchers on their own?...Oh and you keep calling me a soul singer. I never heard of that. Does that mean I'm more speacial than my master led me to believe? I always thought anyone could learn what I do with enough training and conviction."

Luckily Tearadyr seems to have no problem as you approach, though he does blink a bit in mild surprise when you touch your hand to the tip of his large snout. In fact the situation is even a touch cute, the big dragon going cross eyed for a moment as he stares at your hand, before he lets out a series of short huffs that, despite this being the first dragon you've ever met, you easily Identify as an amused laugh. "You have nothing to apologize for young one. It was a long time ago, and I am well aware where the blame truly lay, despite my regrets in the matter.", he says to you.

Of course as you suddenly rush into a cavalcade of questions the big dragon just smiles again, letting you get your most pressing ones out all at once instead of cutting you off. "Oh yes! Soul singing is an incredibly rare type of magic, capable of many wondrous feats that others schools cannot or struggle to do. The most obvious sign of it though is simply what we are doing right now; mental communication. Soul singers have an extraordinary ability to tune the latent magic of a soul, in ways that let them connect with others. Given enough time, or preferably physical contact, they can even contact friends and comrades across entire continents and oceans. They can also do some powerful healing spells as well, such as instant healing, and even fertility magic!", He explains, "There is likely even more they can do as well, but soul singing is a very complicated form of magic, and there aren't many who practice it, so it's full capabilities are far from known. In fact the only family line that seemed to consistently produce soul singers was the old royal family, but it does manifest in the odd random person from time to time.

"As for the northern watcher question, it simply means that I provide an early warning service to the southern elf lands of Fealindel. It is an elf kingdom that borders The Aether Empire, making it some in a range of mountains whose valleys are filled with ancient and dense forests. They accepted many refugees from Aether after Hadrien's coup, mainly soldiers loyal to the previous Emperor Kadmos after they failed to dislodge Hadrien from the throne. The town where I was captured is in fact a border town, technically a few leagues into the Aether Empire from the cave I inhabited. From there I watch for incoming armies that try to probe and conquer land in Fealindel. They try every few years or so, but so far they've always failed. The Valley's are very defensible, and the forest itself comes to life to fight their advance thanks to the elves As for the east and west, it is not needed, since the Aether Empire controls all the land from coast to coast there. As for the north, I imagine they have a similar set up, but I have not been that way for sometime myself. I know it still stands, but the regions north of Aether are hardly a unified force. It is inhabited by all manners of beast folk tribes, yet despite their primitive nature they are remarkably cultured and robust. Emporer Hadrien takes ground there from time to time, but he hardly keeps it for long. Perhaps mainly due to the wild magic of the tribes there."

Well, that was certainly informative.

"Now that I have answered you I am curious mainly about one thing. May I ask who your master was? What was his name? What did he look like? Where did you and him live? Really anything you can tell me about him would be good to know. He strikes me as a powerful wizard, and I knew quite a few before Hadrien's coup. I'm curious on whether I might've known him.", he asks. You sense there is a little more to his question he isn't revealing, but true to the mental link of your soul apparently connecting to his, you sense nothing ill from the question, just genuine curiosity.

For me the experience to have physical contact with a dragon is as new as it seems to be unexpected for Tearadyr, his huffs of warm air hitting me face on and making my hair sway back a little as they tickle my nostrils. The mood quickly shifts though from slightly comical to lectorial as he explains more of the ancient history of magic to me. Of course his explanations only bring up that more questions. Could I be of royal blood, saved by bringing me as far away from this emporer Hadrien as possible? How much did my master know? I dismissed this question long ago after I asked him about a million times, but now those thoughs were quickly renewed as this question seemed to peak Tearadyrs interest as well. I try to recall as much critical infromation as possible, travelling back to my childhood, easier days, reciting what I know of him with utmost respect.

"His name was Thoviar Ulzuthar and he had turned 87 this summer. He specialised in elemental magic, secluding himself to nature a few leagues southeast of where I found you. There I lived with him for all my life. At least the part that I remember. Before he grew older his hair was black, with a medium length beard and green eyes. He was quite strict and had thick skin, but his heart was always at the right place...Does that sound like someone you knew?"

"Hmmm... perhaps.", Tearadyr says, head angling upward to look at the sky as he pondered your words. "I cannot say I knew anyone by that name, or that physical appearance. However, High Mage Alador and Ceda of the old Imperial court, was known to be a dour and stern man. He, among others, helped train fledgling mages in the Empire. However he is notable in that he is one of the few randomly manifested Soul Singers, and often trained Other Soul Singers how to use their abilities. And as far as I know, he was always a big fan of the elemental school of magic, though he was a lot older then 87 years if age.

"It is possible however that your master Thoviar and High Mage Alador could be the same person. Shape shifting is another notable ability among soul singers after all. Perhaps your Alador simply changed his appearance and name to avoid suspicion? Granted, it seems odd to maintain such an act in the middle of the woods after he made good on his escape from Aethenia. Assuming that to be a possibility of course. As far as anyone knows, Alador died the night of Hadrien's coup."

That was a lot to take in. Right now, it seemed to make a lot of sense that your master might actually be this High Mage Alador, but you had no hard answer for that yet. However your master taught you everything you knew about magic, including this apparent soul singing magic which, until recently, thought was just regular kind of magic. Given your upbringing to, there was no one else around to tell you otherwise after all! The more you think about it though the more excited you find yourself becoming. There was a chance you might be a long lost princess! Just like in some of the books you've read! Wow!

"Well, we can say nothing definitively for now, but this certainly bears investigation! However, it's getting late, and it's been a long day for me. Sometime back I cleared some space in the house's basement for folks to live in case I ever needed to hide someone here. What do you say to some sleep? I hope no pests have gotten in there since I've been gone.", Tearadyr then says. He's quite right, the sun having already set by this point, and the sky starting to grow dark. However, your more curious as to how a giant green dragon is going to fit inside the basement of a simple human home, let alone how he cleaned it up! Just as soon as you have the thought you get your answer though, as right in front of your eyes it seems Tearadyr's form blurs. Green tinged air sort of like smoke seems to bleed off of him, and suddenly your nose is filled with the scent of something spicy yet with a touch of sweetness. His form seems to shrink, and after ten seconds or so the magic around him disperses. In the great dragon's place is now a green scaled anthropomorphic dragon man. His appearance is more or less the same, but now with human proportions, or least relatively human proportions you correct yourself, as even in this form Tearadyr is well over eight feet tall and heavily muscled. The dragon then stretches his limbs and extends his wings, before turning back around to face you. "Ah, it's been sometime since I've been in this form. I rarely need to use it Fealindel. Elf structures tend to be pretty open. The ones I usually go in anyway.", he says out loud, his spoken voice just like his mental one, though less echoey. However its hard for you to focus on that as when he turns around you very quickly clue into the fact that he's very naked.

The more he talks the more my face scrunches up in thought. It wasn't the answer I had hoped for as it didn't clear up the mystery of my master immediatly, but it surely pointed in a direction...a fun and exiting direction. Although it is also a lot of weight suddenly on my shoulders. I thought I was no one, wandering around to mold my own destiny. But now I was this last survivor of this rare breed and stuck right in the middle of this fight for power that tears through the land.

"Yeah...I guess slee-" I try to answer when he transforms somewhat suddenly, stopping me in my tracks. I watch fascinated and intigued by what form he may end up in, going a bit wide eyed as the result materializes itself before me. I already knew he was male, but seeing him now made that way more obvious to my system, especially once he turns around without an ounce of shame...not that I had much of that myself, but I'm still startled by the sight as my face flushes up.

I have read in some obscure bestiary that dragons had a set of two reproductive organs, but seeing the two pillars dangling between his legs still shocked my virgin body to the core. Stumbling through my words I ask shyly "...a-aren't there...other advantages to this form?", my eyes wandering all over the place as I can't directly look at him, twiddling with my fingers behind my back and chewing on my bottom lip as my mind searched for outlets for my anxiosness.
