Corvus opened the door to his room, revealing a messy place, mostly thanks to the little card game earlier. Also the flamer he stole stood next to his bed. Sorry for my mess but i dont have much place to put these gifts. Corvus said as he carried flamer he stole and a shotgun with some ammo packs to a corner of room, neatly organizing them. He then turned back and pulled a bottle from under his bed. He took out two cups, filling them with wine, then he gave the one of them to Kay.

Kay took the cup with a nod of thanks and looked at the state of the room. "Well, I don't have much room in my quarters, either, so it's not that bad". She smiled and took a sip of her wine

Wine was sweet, leaving a pleasant after taste in the mouth. So where are you from Kay? Corvus asked.

[Gorbaz]

Kay leaned against a wall and took another sip from her sine, enjoying the feeling of it running down into her belly. "Ah. I'm from Terra. One of the old naval families. Not one of the mutant ones though, as far as I know. What about you?"

[RavenLord]

An insignificant hiveworld, from the lower hives. Never had any parents. Corvus said, though he kept his smile, for him it wasnt important.

[Gorbaz]

"Oh, I see" Meelie said as she cast her gaze down. "My father was an Arbiter. I think he really wanted me to be one, too. But, I chose this life. You get conscripted?"

[RavenLord]

Well, you see, it was either a bolt round to the head or conscription so i ended up here. Corvus said smirking.

[Gorbaz]

Kay gave a little chuckle, and her mood seemed to lighten slightly. "Some choice. Die now, or maybe die fighting in a war somewhere". She downed the rest of her wine and started to feel warm from it

[RavenLord]

Yeah, too bad for them that i intend to live. I have a whole galaxy to see. So why you choose to join the guard? Corvus asked. He had started to feel warm too, and much more relaxed.

[Gorbaz]

"Oh, prety much the same" Kay replied. "Only, we called it 'drafting'. Due to my heritage, I avoided the more notorious units, and ended up here". She looked down into her now empty cup. "Supposed to only be 5 years service. Two already done. Can I get a refil? Please?"

[RavenLord]

Corvus smiled and refilled her cup. So here we are then, in an ork infested world, not by our own choice, fighting for humanity and our dreams. Corvus says.

[Gorbaz]

Kay giggled and took a gulp of wine. "Yeah! Staying alive by our wits, and th' barrel of a fathin' gun" It was clear that she was starting to get somewhat tipsy from the wine

[RavenLord]

Well said Kay, but it seems wine has started to get you. Maybe you should stop drinking. Corvus said, then he finished his own cup.

[Gorbaz]

Kay looked down into her cup again and downed the last of the wine in it. "Ugh. Yeah. My head does feel kinda... fuzzy". She giggled again to herself and shook her head. "Oh, I'm sorry. Guess I really don't have a head for alcohol"

[RavenLord]

No need to apologize. Sometimes its good to lose yourself in a bottle, just dont make it into a habit. Corvus said smiling.

[Gorbaz]

Kay nodded and slumped down on the floor against the wall. She placed her cup on the floor, but could feel the warmth of the liquid still within her. "Yeah. If I evenn live through the next week" she said, starting to look glum again

Dont worry, you will live through this, i will make sure you do. Corvus says, his drink starting to affect him.

[Gorbaz]

"Y-yeah. I don't wanna die, forgotten on some world nobody h-heard of.." She sniffled slightly and wiped a tear from her grubby face

Oww come on, you wont die, i mean i wouldnt allow that. Now cheer up Kay! Corvus said smiling.

[Gorbaz]

Ky runs a hand through her hair and smiles. "Sorry. Guess it's the drink. Yeah, I'n not gonna die here! I got... things to live for!" She sounded much more sure of herself all of a sudden
