Megaman ZX: Down the Darkest Road

Chapter 1: Burn the Ships

Time: Morning

Weather: Heavily Storming

Harmony/Kitty
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Inside the living room, a room with a very soft red carpet and equally soft couches with golden frames, a large jeweled chandelier dangling from the ceiling, and light red walls with golden lines like a circuit board pattern, Harmony was going about her normal morning routine, including the additional task of cleaning up the colossal mess that her master's son, Frodnodan Gaymonger Hoppederf, had left when he and his guests had spent the previous night partying. This was something that seemed to happen every weekend, and while it was supposed to be kept quiet that the master was getting tired of it, everyone tended to speak freely in front of Harmony as though she wasn't there. Her master had grown annoyed that he had started up and ran a very successful Corporation, known as Derf Corp, named after the Master himself, Hannesloy Hermando Hoppederf the Eleventeenth, or just Derf as he preferred to be called. When the corporation was first starting out, they were hired to create and maintain infrastructure within the ruins of the old Neo Arcadia, by Tier, the Megaman that claimed to be the legendary Maverick Hunter, X's, successor and the rightful ruler of Neo Arcadia. Derf Corp was so deep in the whole despite having only just recently formed that he decided to take the gamble, and this resulted in the corporation being worth an astronomical fortune, and ever increasing due to being trusted to continue maintaining infrastructure, and constructing new. Now Derf expected his son to follow in his footsteps and build, from the ground up, his own thriving corporation. Despite Frod continuing to party very frequently, he was actually fully aware of his father's expectations, and Harmony had witnessed him complaining about them in front of her.

Suddenly, in the midst of cleaning, one of Harmony's fellow maids, Tranquility, a blue-haired Reploid with her hair tied into twintails, blue eyes, and fair skin, wearing a black and white maid outfit with alternating colors, called out for Harmony from one of the nearby hallways. "Head Maid! Master Frod demands your presence!" she said, as she approached. When she came into view, Harmony could see that she was using one hand to repair her damaged face, delicately repairing the electronics beneath her skin layer with three fingers, holding her state-of-the-art multitool with two and welding with the third, while applying new synthetic skin over the finished sections with her other two fingers. Despite being partly repaired, Harmony had seen this sort of damage often enough to know that Frod must have demanded a Breaker from another Maid and used it on her to vent his frustration. If not for the fact that Frod was a humanoid, he'd have gone through far more Maids, and it would have been possible that Tranquility would have been one of them. When the Maid that Harmony was working with, Stability, a girl with gray-blue eyes and extremely long, straight platinum-blond hair that reached the floor, wearing a brown leather top with pink frills and a black bowtie with a pink and black maid uniform, gasped and rushed over to her, helping her sit down and quickly helping her finish repairing her face. While Frod damaged Maids this way very frequently, they always treated it as serious, because the Maids not only knew that they had to look after each other and loved each other dearly, but also had seen Frod damage three Maids severely enough, by hitting them just right, that they had been retired. He always aimed for the head, and the head was where the personality of most Reploids was kept, as well as the rest of a Reploid's brain, meaning that everything they are could be destroyed if enough damage was focused there.

Before Harmony could make her way to Frod's room, whether she helps repair Tranquility or not, both Tranquility and Stability briefly make eye contact with her. Among the Maids of Derf Manner, eye contact meant "good luck" or "be careful", as Maids weren't allowed to speak to each other beyond what was necessary, as getting caught making conversation was grounds for their shock collars being set off, which would cause enough voltage to scramble a Maid's thoughts, movement, and vision, as well as cause severe paid, for a full minute would be sent through their body.

As Harmony made her way out of the living room and down the hallway, which had the same red walls with the golden circuit board designs as the living room, she began to pass by another of her maids, Serenity, a fair-skinned girl with purple eyes and long lilac hair tied back in a poofy ponytail, wearing a maid uniform with purple lace and a purple bowtie, she made eye contact with Harmony as well, to show support. The Masters usually had Serenity doing the laundry, which involved picking up clothes that had been left in hampers or on the floor, so she tended to wander from place to place frequently. Eventually, Harmony reaches a red-painted door with, out of place when compared to the black doors with silver boarders that lined the rest of the hallway, which led to Frod's room. Normally, Master Derf wouldn't have allowed Frod to paint his door a color that mismatched the rest of the doors, however Frod had ordered a Maid to do it while Master Derf was on a business trip. When Master Derf returned and found the door red, he had the Maid retired, then when that Maid's friend cried over her retirement, Master Derf had that Maid retired as well.

When Harmony enters Master Frod's room, she finds it in its usual state of disarray. The black-carpeted floor was littered with parts and stained with black liquid, Frod's bed was unmade, because Frod himself was sitting on it, a set of two large, black, screen-projectors were set up, generating a screen with a long list on it. On one black and red-striped wall was a poster of the ruler of Neo Arcadia R, a blond-haired girl with green eyes, wearing a blue overcoat with gold edges and a single jagged white line around it, white and blue shoes, and a blue helmet with white horns and a white plate on the front with a green gem, matching the green gems on her sleeves. While she bore a striking resemblance to the founder of the Guardians and Brilliant scientist Ciel, her name was actually Tier, and Frod was quite fond of her, often shouting her name when he orgasms. Frod was a boy with straight blond hair that framed his face and natural red eyes, and pale skin, wearing his usual blue overcoat with a black hood, over black leather pants and a black sweater with a second hood, over a white and black button-up. The screen was being operated by another fellow maid, Unity, a girl with long white hair tied back into a long ponytail with a black bow with blue stripes, red eyes, and very slightly tan skin, wearing a black maid uniform with white frills and a white apron. Unity was a Maid that had been working for the Derf family for the longest, second only to Harmony, and acted as a sort of mother figure for them. As one of the most experienced, she acted primarily as the family cook, but when she wasn't cooking, she was considered Frod's personal maid. Unity wasn't the only Maid in the room, however, as a retired maid laid on in the center of the room, completely limp, her maid uniform's skirt and top ripped to expose her striped white and blue bra and matching panties, half of her head had been destroyed, her blue eyes stared lifelessly into infinity, and her long white hair was a tangled mess. Harmony could recognize that the damage wasn't from just one strike, but from many strikes while she was already knocked to the floor.

Frod notices Harmony almost immediately, but doesn't acknowledge her, as he was in the midst of talking to himself. "My first idea was to just purchase a Pseudoroid of my own to use my newly acquired property, but it turned out that I was not the only individual that wanted it, and was willing to pay such a price. My opponent was willing to bid so high that I ended up expending all of my allowance just to secure it." he was saying, as if he was talking to Unity, despite the fact that every time he did this, she was expected to keep silent. He continued, ignoring Harmony in the doorway "Now, I can't afford a Pseudoroid, I can't afford to research Pseudoroids, and I definitely don't have anyone here that can use it. I had tried using it myself, but it rejected me." he sighed and turned to Harmony "Pink-haired whore, go get me the Biometal, it would at least make a splendid desk ornament. Purple-haired slut, polish my cock with your mouth, I need to relax." he says, first addressing Unity, then Harmony. Unity looked into Harmony's eyes, to wish her luck, then hurried out of the room to do as she was told.

Terra/Misc
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Terra's day aboard the Guardian's airship headquarters begins somewhat abnormally. As she was making her way down the plain white halls, with bright lighting from the ceiling, the alarms suddenly went off, and Commander Prairie, a blond-haired girl wearing a short-brimmed pink hat, pink commander jacket, black stockings and long-sleeved croptop, with a pink jumpsuit beneath, and pink high-heeled shoes. When Terra and her squad arrive, Prairie turns around in her chair. Her usual poker face was replaced with an expression of deep concern "We've finally caught up with a Maverick that has been wiping out entire clans, single-handed. This is no ordinary Maverick, and I want you to practice the most extreme caution, I don't want to lose anyone... but it's heading straight for the Chane Clan. We have to stop it." she says, only for Bruce, the captain of Terra's squad and a veteran Guardian, to reply "You worry too much. We've fought strong Mavericks in the past, we'll be alright." he says, with a reassuring smile, to which the other Guardians in his squad agreed. Bruce was a slim-built Reploid in the usual Guardians uniform, though when he had his helmet off, he had piercing blue eyes and shoulder-length spiky blond hair. Terra had experienced his famous risk-assessment and incredible tactical expertise first-hand, and it had kept her squad casualty-free even in the worst situations. Scrount, a very muscular Reploid and great marksman, also in the typical Guardians uniform, then added "Not only are we good at avoiding casualties, we have a Pseudoroid helping us." he said, gruffly, as he grinned and slapped Terra on the back.

Prairie sighed, as if to think that the squad didn't get it, then spoke again, even more serious and concerned than before "If the situation looks bad, do not hesitate to call for help. When Giro and Aile get back, I'll be sending them to assist. I have a really bad feeling about this." Prairie says. With that, the squad solutes Prairie, then makes their way to the back of the ship, to the drop pods. Due to the areas outside the walls having no Transervers, the Guardians used Drop Pods, equipped with Transervers, to create transport stations for the Guardians to use for easier access to areas on a semi-permanent basis. Bruce quickly runs to the back of the HQ and slams the bright red "Drop Transerver" button with his fist, in a hurry. The pod launches from the ship and slams into the ground below, after which the doors to the Transerver Room slide open, allowing the squad of 10 to crap in, and warp down to the Transerver.

When the group had warped down to the ground, they could feel the rain beating down on the hard, the wasteland around them was wet sand and mountains, with lightning flashing above them. Bruce calls out to them above the beating rain, crackling thunder, and howling wind over their communication links "Alright, keep a sharp eye out. This guy has to really be something to be wiping out clans, equipped with Mechaniloids and combat Reploids by himself, treat him as five people, don't engage alone under any circumstances. We need to move out before he reaches the village, and hopefully entrench before he reaches us." he says, quickly leading the charge to the Clan's town. The place seemed to be constructed from older tech that was found laying around, with the structures being welded together from ancient metal and half-working systems, not having rusted due to the technology used at the time. Despite having rushed there, what the group is met with is a horrifying sight. Humans and Reploids alike had been ripped limb from limb, blasted to pieces, or cut to shreds. Bloody limbs and chunks, as well as pieces of reploids were being washed away in the rain. "How are we too late? He was miles away when we received the report... what is this? A nightmare?" Codd, a younger Reploid who had joined the Guardians soon after Terra asked, as he started crawling around in the wet sand, searching fruitlessly for a survivor. Meanwhile, Daisy, a female combat Reploid, with long, wavy pink hair, who had joined the Guardians even more recently than Codd, and was now on her first mission, was throwing up onto the ground in response to the sight. Bruce grimaced "Pull yourselves together, we have to find him and keep this from happening to anyone else. Stick together and sweep the area, move into Romy formation, keep your guard up." he shouted. The group then quickly pulled themselves together and moved into position, back to back, and began sweeping the town.

As the group was sweeping the town, Codd called out "Over there on the roofs! Five o' Clock!" he shouts, but before the group could respond to the call, the sound of a plasma shot being fired ripped through the pouring rain and Codd exploded into a shower of parts. While Daisy cried out "CODD, NO!" and transformed her arm into a buster, beginning to fire blazing red plasma shots at the shadowy target as it leapt from roof to roof, the shots exploding off the metal, but missing the target due to its incredible speed. By all rights, her aim should have been on-point, however the Maverick was moving so fast that it seemed to be warping from location to location. Bruce called out "Fire support way ahead of his movements, Codd is down, Tripp take his position, Scrount covering fire with Daisy." he called out. The shadowy figure suddenly seemed to disappear, only for him to reappear, a silver-colored saber in hand, which he then used to brutally slash through Narwoy's head, ending him before he could even turn in Maverick's direction. This was the first time that Terra got a good look at the Maverick. The Maverick had primarily purple armor, with pink sections above the feet, around the barrel of the buster, and at the top of the chest plate, and white sections on the bottom of its feet, the hands, and his buster. His jumpsuit was black, with jagged gray lines up the arms and legs. His blue eyes were wide with insanity, his handsome face was a strange shade of pink, green lights on his chest and his forehead gem glowed brightly in the barely lit morning, and his long pink hair trailed behind him as he moved at incredible speeds. In a series of swift motions that Terra could barely follow, much less anyone else in her squad, the Maverick cut Narwoy into even more pieces, then kicked him, scattering the parts all over the ground. The Maverick screamed "BLUE LIGHT! BLUE ROBOT! KILL! KILL!" as he charged forward into the middle of Terra's squad, blasting and slashing at those who were left at such unbelievable speed that most of them had no chance to react, the air behind the Reploid igniting into streaks of plasma with every dash. When the Reploid turned to Terra to attack her, all of her squad mates retired at her feet, he was forced to leap back as electricity slammed into the ground with a loud "CRACKOOM!" followed by another figure landing on the damp sand, kicking up chunks of wet sand into the air with their landing. "I'm not letting you kill or retire anyone else!" he shouted. The man was wearing a red vest with two red metal disks around his shoulders, and two red metal bracers around his arms, as well as two gigantic silver spikes on his wrists, as large as his entire arms from shoulder to wrist. On his legs, he was wearing red boots, with round red metal bracers on his thighs. On his head, he wore a red metal helmet with a silver metal plate on the forehead and rounded, smooth sides. On his back, he had a red metal backpack, with green cords that led to the spikes on his wrists, and a large metal disk on the top and a bent metal bar, between which electric sparks were constantly erupting in all directions. It wouldn't even take a second for Terra to recognize this person as a Megaman, the armor screamed it to her. The Maverick lifted his saber in preparation to battle the Megaman, as the Megaman raised his spikes to attack the Maverick, shouting "YOU DESTROYED EVERYONE I KNOW AND LOVE, I'LL RETIRE YOU FOR THEIR SAKES, AND THE SAKE OF ALL YOUR FUTURE VICTIMS!" after which he ran towards the Maverick, generating a massive charge of electricity around himself, and firing a bolt of electricity at the Maverick. The Maverick casually leapt back, out of the path of the attack as if it was in slow motion. The bolt of electricity reduced the structure behind the Maverick into a pile of charred ruble. The Maverick didn't seem to care about the attack, merely raising his buster, before firing off a gray-colored plasma blast from his arm cannon, which the Megaman ducked away from, slamming Terra with his elbow to knock her out of the way as well. The Megaman quickly leapt to his feet and rushed at the Maverick, attempting to swing one of his spikes at him, missing by a hair as the Maverick seemingly warped out of the way, after which he reappeared with his gray saber in hand, and slashed at the Megaman, who attempted to duck away, but wasn't fast enough, losing an arm to the saber strike. the arm dropped from the Megaman's shoulder and into the wet sand, electricity firing from the wound in all directions. The Megaman growled and attempted to retaliate, firing a bolt of electricity from his remaining spike, which hit the Maverick directly in the chest, with a brilliant display, lightning crackling off the Maverick's body and arcing across the ground, turning the wet sand into glass, then causing the newly-created glass to shatter, causing broken glass to shower the area. The Maverick growled in anger, then ran the Megaman through with his saber, causing a cry of agony to escape the impaled Megaman's lips.

The Megaman had no time to say anything else, as the Maverick fired gray plasma shot from his buster, blowing his head to pieces, then the Maverick began slowly making his way towards Terra as he raised his saber, however as the Transerver behind Terra in the distance made the standard whirring sound as two people warped onto the battlefield. The Maverick seemed to recognize that the two Megamen who had just warped onto the battlefield would be more of a challenge than the now-retired Guardians that had been sent after him, and disappeared. With the purple Maverick now gone, Terra would notice that the retired Megaman had returned to normal reploid remains on the ground, while a Biometal had appeared beside the wreckage... glowing in Terra's presence as her body glowed in response. The Biometal, a red-colored disk with a round, raised section in the shape of a second disk, with a silver plate on the front, and a round metal plate at the top, with a second metal bar bent over it, generating sparks, called out to her in her mind, asking a single question... "Do you like fish, too?".

Avriel/Embers
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Avriel had been working for Grollar Transportation Corp for a long time, and managed to climb her way up to Amaltheia Liffta Grollar's right hand. Not because Theia liked her, of course, but because Theia recognized her as useful. Theia is a dark-skinned female humanoid with bright green eyes, black hair usually tied into thick dreadlocks with gold rings around them, a flawless face, and a curvy body. Theia usually wears tight leather pants and a stomach-exposing black leather top, with black boots, and a white and gold hooded cloak. While she didn't look incredibly strong, it is rumored that she has so many physical augments in her body that she is as strong, tough, precise, and agile as a combat Reploid. Her attitude towards others is usually all business, and interactions with her are usually very brief. According to some workers, it has been said that not even her husband has heard her laugh or seen her smile.

Just that morning, as Avriel had been overseeing the handling of organs through a glass window on the upper level with her group of armed Reploid guards, silently, when her boss, Theia, had entered the room with her own group of Guards, not having to turn sideways despite the massive, gold-colored Buster Shot Cannon on her back due to all of the doorways in the complex having been constructed specifically to allow her to fit her cannon through on her back.
The Guards that were employed by Grollar were always female Reploids, and were made to wear armor specifically developed by Grollar's underground Organ Harvesting Operation, The Hand. The Armor was gray with teal sections on the chest, shoulders, and boots, with a black body suit beneath. The helmet had a teal forehead gem which covered the main camera, and a pair of antenna that resembled cat ears. Each guard that wore the armor was combat Reploid with strict training.

Avriel's boss, tersely as usual, informed her that she must personally oversee a very important shipment for Slither, a large archeological haul from beyond the wall, which held priceless artifacts that they couldn't afford to lose. Once she had explained this in as few words as possible, she turned and left.

Not long after, Avriel found herself arriving at her destination, in the middle of the apocalyptic wasteland, in her armored transport, a blue-armored vehicle with eight wheels, heavily armed and armored for surviving outside the walls. There, waiting for her and the numerous other transports that had been sent with her to protect the packages, were digging mechaniloids and the standard Galleon Mechniloids employed by Slither Inc.

The digging Mechaniloids weren't what was typically used for digging, as Slither's digging Mechaniloids were based on ancient Maverick Wars technology. These mechaniloids were humanoid in design and had gray metal arms and foot, with green armored bodies and legs, their heads were built to resemble humanoid heads with gas mask mouths and a hard-hat-like head. They were each equipped with a beam pick-axe, and were hard at work in the holes.

Galleons resembled Reploids, however their heads had only one single eye, they wore purple body suits, and their arms and legs were far more obviously mechanical, being too slim to fit an actual Reploid limb with synthetic flesh beneath the purple armor. While Galleons were easier to produce in large quantities, could be equipped with a wide variety of weapons, and would follow any order down to the letter, their individual combat capabilities were a constant reminder of why they always hired Grollar for security, rather than relying on those Galleons alone. When Avriel and her guards step off of her transport, one of the Galleons makes their way over to her, their eye projecting a hologram of Serpent, the head of Slither Inc, in front of Avriel. Serpent was a tall, muscular, red-haired Humanoid man, with a strong jaw and piercing red eyes. His hair spiked forward, as if he had wanted a beget, but couldn't quite make it. he wore tight leather pants and a green overcoat with a red tie, over a black bodysuit. "Hello there. I apologize for not arriving in person, however you know how things are running a business. There's always more work to be done, besides, I have Mechaniloids enough to do the work for me." he said, with a friendly grin "Down to business. You see, I unearthed some very rare technology, and I'd like it brought back to Slither Inc. for study. There have been many sightings by the Guardians of a powerful Maverick, and I feel that Grollar Corp would be more qualified than my Galleons to oversee the transportation. Good luck, and pay has already been transferred to your account." he says, before disappearing without waiting for Avriel to reply, as was typical of Serpent. Unless he saw Theia herself, he would be less formal, and would typically end the transmission before he could be responded to. As Serpent was speaking, more Mechaniloids were loading crates onto the transports, however by the time the transmission ended, the very last crate to be loaded had caught Avriel's attention, as if it was calling out to her silently.

Luna/Mark
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Luna's morning started much like most other mornings. She woke up beside her master, Snydar Dinglefitz the third, an older humanoid male with graying hair and wrinkled skin. Luna was waking up mostly because he shook her awake for his morning blowjob. Despite the man's age, he had an amazing sex drive, often taking Luna in each hole every morning, every evening, every night before bed. She was always taken with him everywhere he went so that he could take her when he felt the urge, sometimes doing her in the bathroom, a cleaning closet, or his transport. A few times, he even took her in an alleyway. After Snydar is finished taking Luna, he left the bedroom to start his morning routine, while ordering his personal Pantheon Guards to have their way with Luna, as was also normal for Luna's mornings.

Pantheons are the general purpose Reploid of choice, though the term Reploid may not be accurate, as Panetheons were an eye piece rather than a full Reploid body. Reploid 'criminals' in Neo Arcadia R often served their life sentences by having a Pantheon eyepiece strapped to their face, thus making that poor Reploid a vehicle for the eyepiece. The eyepiece would control the body, while the Reploid itself was forced to watch its every action as a prisoner in their own body. Pantheons usually wore blue thigh-high boots and long blue gloves, with a blue body armor vest and matching codpiece. With the eyepiece on, Pantheons appeared to have a single red eye, attached to a blue helmet with silver metal lining over the top and both sides, connecting on the back, which was actually the strap to keep the eyepiece on.

By the time Snydar was finished cleaning himself and getting dressed, the Pantheon guards would be done with Luna, leaving her soaked in Reploid hacking discharge fluid on the floor, at which point Snydar would order one of his maids to clean up the mess, and order Luna to get herself cleaned and dressed. On this particular occasion, Snydar had to attend Master Tier as she made her speech to address an expansion of Neo Arcadia R's borders. Once Luna was finished cleaning herself, under the watchful eye of a pair of Pantheon Guards, typically two of the six that had just had their way with her, Snydar would be finished with his breakfast, and it was time for the two to make their way via Transerver to the Neo Arcadia Core, alongside Snydar's squad of Pantheon Guards.

Luna and Snydar didn't need to do anything during Tier's speech, they merely stood stiffly behind her while she spoke in the pouring rain, which oddly seemed not to touch her, yet completely drenched Luna, Snydar, and the rest of Tier's cabinet. Tier spoke for nearly an hour, mostly using political jargon, while the crowd of Humanoids who had gathered to see and hear her listened and cheered or clapped at the appropriate times. It made sense, as Tier was an incredible speaker, and had built Neo Arcadia into a highly advanced, extremely secure, humanoid utopia.

Tier, the ruler of Neo Arcadia, was a strange anomaly. She looked almost exactly like the famous scientist, resistance commander, and first Guardian commander, Ciel. She was Reploid girl with bright green eyes and very long blond hair that she wore down. She typically wore a dark blue helmet with white horns on the sides and a white metal plate bearing a green forehead gem, with a long blue coat that nearly reaches her feet, with a jagged white light design around the hips, and a gold border. Each of her long sleeves had a green gem that matched her forehead gem, and gold edges around them.

After Tier had finished her speech, she tells the people gathered outside in the pouring rain to have a nice day, and thanked them for coming despite the weather. Just as the group had re-entered the building, the doors that had just closed behind Tier's Pantheon guards exploded inward, showering the group in metal chunks with loud clanking. the Pantheon Guards turned to assess the threat, only to be destroyed by a cluster of explosives striking them directly, reducing them to a shower of tiny parts and Reploid 'blood'. When the smoke cleared, Luna could see what could only be a Megaman entering the building from the pouring rain. The Megaman was wearing a purple armor vest with gold edges, purple boots with white knee pads, purple gauntlets with pair of rectangular wrist launchers with golden barrels, barrel-shaped purple shoulder armor with golden rims on each side, and a purple helmet with a V-fin on the forehead, a red forehead gem in the middle, a white metal band connected to it and running from the forehead of the helmet to the back of the helmet, all over a black body suit. The Megaman seemed to be about to attack the cabinet of politicians or Tier herself, Luna couldn't be sure, though given his weapon seemed to be explosive, he could likely do all of the above, however Luna was more than in range to intercept and engage the enemy.

Provesta/Condor
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

As was usual for Provesta, she had been working at Dynamic Smelting, owned by one of Tier's officials, Snydar Dinglefitz, which was used to dispose mechanical parts and metal. Much like many of the corporations in Neo Arcadia R and Elysium, this Smelting Corporation was the only one in the nation and as such, all smelting was done here. Large transports were used to load up what was left outside of certain locations for pick-up, and as Provesta had recently discovered, many Retired Reploids as well. That wasn't all, though. Many Reploids who were brought to Neo Arcadian Medical Facilities and were deemed too expensive to repair, which was most of them, were often loaded into transports and sent for smelting. Smelting was also seen as viable option for some Mavericks in place of other methods of execution, which meant that they were immobilized and sent for smelting. Pantheons who had their bodies damaged beyond operation would have their Pantheon eyepiece removed, then the inoperable body of the still-living Reploid would be sent for smelting.

This particular day, a transmission was sent to Provesta, her humanoid overseer ordering her to load up a transport mechaniloid in the back and take another load to the conveyor belt to begin loading it into the smelter. The overseer also added that Provesta would be working another four shifts, meaning she would be staying until the next morning unless the overseer decides that she should work even longer. Despite having had the same overseer during the time she had spent with the corporation, she had never met them face to face, and had never actually heard their voice, due to all overseer communications being altered to hide their identity. Dynamic had picked up this practice due to a Reploid, at one point, going Maverick and ripping their boss in half before pitching them into the smelter. Dynamic, of course, decided that it would be safer to mask the identities of their overseers so that this never happened again, or would at least be less likely to happen.

As ordered, Provesta made her way out of the primary smelting room, a massive room made from black heat resistant metal, and lined with numerous conveyor belts that carried the metal and electronics into the massive smelter Mechaniloids. The hallway that she entered was blocked off by a set of heat resistant black metal doors, and into a heat resistant black metal hallway. The work areas tended to be a dreary place, due to workers not being allowed to speak with each other, as it was considered inefficient use of time even if neither worker stopped what they were doing, and there was no decoration anywhere in any of the Reploid work areas.

When Provesta reached the back, she made her way to one of the black metal sliding doors, sliding it open to find the different kinds of transport Mechaniloids. The Smelting Plant used three kinds of Transport Mechaniloids. The first, the Multi-Loader, was black-armored with derpy eyes, and constructed with multiple sections, each dome-shaped with a single wheel inside, allowing each section to be loaded with more parts. The second, the Turbo-Loader, was black-armored with a white stripe across the top of its dome-shaped body, and was equipped with nitro to allow it to get from place to place quickly, in case something needed to be retrieved in an emergency. The third, the Mega-Loader, used the most often due to being able to carry the most, was a half-wheel shaped Mechaniloid with derpy eyes and a black-armored body, with several dome-shaped black-armored sections containing its wheels. When Provesta opened the door, all of the derpy-eyed mechaniloids looked at her eagerly, hoping it was their turn to leave the storage room and haul parts for smelting.

Whichever Loader Provesta decides on, all she has to do is tell it to follow her, and it would do so eagerly, following behind her as she picked up pieces from the gigantic pile of parts in the center of the room that nearly reached the ceiling. As Provesta loads parts into the Loader, she starts to feel drawn to a certain part of the massive pile, as if it were water in the middle of a vast desert. When she draws near, she can see a bright glow from inside one of the scrapped Reploids, a Maid Reploid with her head partly destroyed and a missing arm. She had long light blond hair, and what was left of her face was beautiful. Her one remaining eye was blue, and her pink lips were curved downward in a frown. She was wearing a black maid uniform, frilly black thigh-high stockings with pink lace, and tall leather boots, her apron was missing. Beneath her dress, on a chain around her neck, an object was glowing. As she draws even closer, the glowing object calls out to her. "You. You're not content to be enslaved by these humans. These evil abominations who harm thousands because they believe that they're better than us. Join with me... and I'll grant you all of the power you've ever wanted, to burn these cities to the ground and free the slaves." said the object directly into Provesta's mind.

Demo/Blah
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Demo had been deployed on a now week-long mission to explore a cave in search of the missing scientist and first Guardians commander, Ciel's, hidden lab with her squad. The Guardians had to search the cave first due to the amount of Mavericks in the area, and once it was cleared and confirmed that the lab was indeed there, a squad would be sent in after them to more thoroughly investigate. A Transserver had been deployed into the cave to allow the group to travel back and forth between the HQ and the cave so that they can spend nights aboard the ship to recharge, stock up on supplies, and avoid risk of Maverick Attacks during the night.

The cave had indeed been the location of a lab, a very large lab that reached many floors beneath the ground, and seemed to be mostly excelling in robotics, as the place was crawling with Mavericks. Because Ciel had mostly given up on robotics, it was highly suspected that the lab was no hers, but the Guardians still insisted on further exploration due to every bit of recovered technology serving to improve the lives of what remained of Humanoid and Reploid civilization. In terms of appearance, the lab had plain white metal-tiled floors and white walls, which was yet another indicator that it was not Ciel's lab, as she preferred pink. Most of the Mavericks that had attacked Demo's squad had been easily dispatched by Demo herself, while the rest of her squad merely followed behind her and watched the rear. This was pretty normal, as despite being ancient technology from before the Maverick Wars, Demo was was still quite a bit stronger and faster than most members of the Guardians.

Because this mission was just a sweep of the underground cave lab, Demo's usual squad of herself, three others, and a commander was deemed sufficient for the task, thus they would be receiving no reinforcements unless the situation suddenly escalated. Demo's squad consisted of Ranunculus, Zinnia, Crocus, and Chives. Ranunculus was a brown-eyed Reploid female with long, wavy brown hair that reached her lower back. She typically carried the standard Buster Shot and was easily the laziest person Demo had ever met. Zinnia was a Reploid female with blue eyes and long straight blond hair that reached her lower thighs. She usually carried three Buster Shots on her in case the first two failed, and was very timid, having been diving behind cover every step of the way, as if they had to be stealthy, despite the lab's security system having been corrupted long ago. Crocus was a green-eyed, pink-haired Reploid female who always kept her hair tied into twin-tails. Despite being extremely flirty, Crocus was actually a combat Reploid with a built-in arm cannon in her right arm and an energy blade built into her left arm. Chives was a slightly overweight Reploid whose hair and eye color had never been seen, because he never takes off his helmet. He was constantly alert when on a mission, but tended to order other Reploids into danger before himself, and really frequently was unintentionally comical and clumsy. Most other Guardians agreed that Chives' head seemed to be too large for his body. During the short time the squad had been in the lab this morning, Chives had already tripped fourteen times and fallen down a flight of stairs.

Eventually, Demo and her squad came to a locked metal door with a massive red sheet of blast-resistant plating over it. "Hmm... I g-guess this section of the lab is o-older than the rest?" Zinnia commented, from behind one of the open hallway doors that she was using as cover. Chives stroked his chin and replied "That only makes the chance of older technology better! Better! We need to get the door open so we can get to it... well, and also to finish the mission, we have to fully explore the lab." he said, before looking over at Ranunculus. Ranunculus stared back for a solid minute, before finally sighing "FINE, I'll get it open." she says, as she stands up from the fallen support beam she had been seated on, then making her way over to the white box-shaped control panel with a green screen and beginning to rapidly tap at it, cycling through possible codes. Ranunculus was incredibly skilled at hacking, though she refused to explain why when asked. While Ranunculus was hacking, Chives stood behind her and stared at her ass, while pretending to oversee, and Crocus leaned against the wall near Demo, smiling at her. After a moment, she whispered "So, while they're doing that... wanna maybe go explore... something else?" she asked, seductively, while unzipping her green Guardians uniform top to barely expose her her black-body-suit-covered right breast.

Just at that moment, Demo was suddenly hit with sudden dizziness, followed by a strange pull back down the hallway, as if she sensed water in that direction and had just become dehydrated. After a moment, a voice calls out into Demo's mind "You have been chosen to not just loose the Justice Train, but to BECOME the Justice Train and chug forth down the tracks of eternity to deliver your cargo of righteousness upon the stations of evil. Let not your core be empty, but instead fill it with the coal of indignation, so that you may be strengthened and motivated by the furnace of virtue." the voice says.

Mimi/CliffRacer
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Mimi spent most days either in her room, or in a Guardian lab, being studied by Reploid scientists and engineers of all shapes and sizes. Despite her being an ancient model, or possibly because of it, she couldn't be fully analyzed by anyone. The secondary Guardian HQ near Elysium that she was kept at was, much like the primary airship HQ, was mostly pink. Typically whenever Mimi asked for something, it would be brought to her room so that she could be more comfortable, as the Guardians wanted to make sure she felt at home, and wanted to stress to her that she was not in any way a captive. Frequently, Mimi was visited by a friendly Guardian, by the name of Periwinkle, who brought her information from outside the HQ, and check in on her. Periwinkle was a male Reploid with silver eyes and long straight black hair that reached his lower back, who usually wore a black body suit with white armor, a longsleeved white jacket, white-armored boots, and belts with white detached coattails with gold trim. Peri always seemed very calm and collected, and seemed to care about Mimi a lot, as his visits seemed to be every opportunity he had, even if it was short, and he always seemed to leave reluctantly. While she had never seem him use it, Peri always had an extremely long sword with him, as his weapon of choice. Peri had once explained that he is a combat Reploid who used to work for Elysium, however he decided he could do more good for the Guardians, thus he started working for them instead.

This particular day, Periwinkle came to visit Mimi again, this time holding a strange device. "Mimi, sorry to bother you, but the Guardians, when they find one of these, they always like to see if it resonates with any of the recruits." he says, raising the object as he entered the room. The object was red, and seemed to be shaped like a the front of a helmet. At the bottom was a raised yellow section that wrapped around the whole object, above that was a red piece that held a black visor, like a pair of sunglasses, and the very top was shaped like a white trident, with a single point that reached straight up to the end of the object, the other points outlining the sunglasses shape. When Peri held the object out towards Mimi, it began to glow, Mimi's body starting to glow at the same time. Suddenly, the object spoke to her, directly into her mind "Others may describe us as broken, or incomplete, or bugged, or unstable... we don't need to be perfect, we follow our path all the same, we walk the program. I've met my maker, the man was a liar... the expectations of our makers don't matter. I surpassed his expectations by not melting down, and that was alone... but as my Biomatch, we now have each other, and we can walk our own path." it said to her, Mimi suddenly feeling a kinship with the Biometal, as if it was a long lost friend.

When Peri sees the glowing, his mouth drops open in surprise as he exclaims "Mimi, you're a Megaman!" in sheet shock. He looks again at the Biometal, then at Mimi as if to verify that this was really happening. "Mimi, do you know what that means? With this, you're stronger than an entire squad of Guardians, or Pantheons, or Variants, or... or..." he struggles to find words, then sets the Biometal in Mimi's hands "Megamen are extremely powerful, and you need to be even more careful now." he says, his voice growing concerned "I'm going to ask the Commander to put us in a squad together so that I can protect you." he says, looking into Mimi's eyes.

BB/Blue
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

After BB was found by the clan and taken in, the technology found in the lab was integrated into their society with her assistance. The Clan treated her like family, always encouraging her to rest when she had been working for long periods of time, keeping her tuned and in good condition, using technology they found to repair what hadn't been repaired initially, giving her a home of her own, making sure she wasn't left out of any clan activities. Every night, the clan ate together, and they ensured that she had her own seat at the giant table with them.

When the Model P Biometal was found in the lab with her, it Biomatched with one of the clan members, a male Reploid named Geranium. Geranium was a Reploid with spiky black hair and blue eyes, who usually wore too many belts with his black pants and black jacket, beneath which he wore a black body suit. Geranium, even before the Biometal was found, took an immediate interest in BB, spending most of his time with her. When the village was attacked, both Geranium and BB took on the threat together, alongside the other combat Reploids in the clan. During battle, Geranium watched BB's back first and foremost, and always repaired her himself if she was damaged. While BB was building, Geranium did his best to help her with her work.

Eventually, together, they managed to build the village into a town, with more advanced buildings and shops, the village becoming so impressive that other Clans frequently stopped by to conduct business, and those visits eventually became trade routes, which caused the town to grow even further.

On this particular day, it was storming heavily, but despite the lightning, Geranium and BB were putting the finishing touches on a house for a family of Humanoids who had just moved into the town. Putting the final bolts into the house's door, Geranium looked up at BB, who was up on the roof, adding the communications system to it, and said "Hey, BB, you should hurry up on the comms, I don't want you to get electrocuted..." he said, pausing at the end and inhaling as if he wanted to say something else, but stopping himself as if he wasn't sure he should. He had been quiet for most of that day, and kept staring into BB's eyes in total silence. The two continued working until finally the house was done, and the two stepped back to admire another job well-done. Despite the work looking great, just like everything they had done together, Geranium still seemed bothered by something. Finally, he turned to BB and looked into her eyes again, putting a hand on her shoulder "BB, I've been afraid... for a long time now... on the outside, we live in constant danger, and I'm not sure I could bear it if... well, if I didn't get to express my feelings before one of us got retired... especially since I'd protect you with my life, and if it came to that, I'd have desperately regretted that this went unsaid, as I spent my death in the digital realm..." he said, inhaling deeply before continuing. Before he could finish his thought, a loud explosion erupted nearby in the housing district they had built together. In the distance, they could see that a large swath of houses were missing, and large amount of them were burning. Reploids and humanoids could be heard screaming, retiring, or dying. They could hear the clan's combat Reploids rushing to fight off the threat, riding from the other side of the town in their transport mechaniloids, large vehicles with derpy eyes on the front, heavily armored in the clan's colors of black and gray. Floating above all of the carnage, the two could see a massive, Coffin-shaped monstrocity of a Reploid, at least three times the size of the largest Reploid BB had ever seen. It had gray Ω-shaped shoulders, and giant metal fists that seemed to be floating in mid-air beneath the shoulders, giant spikes on each of the knuckles. The creature had an Ω-shaped emblem at the bottom of its coffin-like body, which seemed to function as its propulsion system, it had jagged purple lines as trim around its solid black body, and instead of a Reploid-like head, it had a screen that projected a face made of green flame. The creature was launching its fits like rockets, turning Reploids into wreckage and humanoids into blood smears on the ground, while firing energy blasts from its face, destroying houses and larger buildings in a single attack.

Geranium stepped forward, his eyes wide with anger and shock "BB, we have to save them!" he shouted, as he pulled his Biometal from his coat. "ROCK-ON!" he shouted, as he thrusts the Biometal forward, his legs in a battle stance, one hand gripping his other wrist that was gripping the Biometal. Time seemed to stop as he was bathed in energy. His jacket became red, he gained spiked red bracers on each of his forearms, he gained spiked red bracers on each of his legs, and gained red-armored boots, with a spike on the end of each foot and on each knee. He gained red shoulder guards with a set of spikes on each, and a red helmet with a bladed metal mohawk on top, as well as a armored red jaw-guard at the bottom. Once his transformation into Model P was completed, he transformed into a spiked red metal ball, then began rolling at extremely high speed towards the massive Reploid.

BB arrives at the site of the destruction, or more accurately the massacre, with Geranium already damaged as he had already been engaging the enemy. One of his arms was missing entirely, his helmet had a scratch all the way through it, and his left leg had been so severely damaged that he could barely stand. All around them, their clan mates were laying on the ground lifelessly, bloody smears, or piles of wreckage, most of the structures that BB and Geranium had built together had been blown to pieces, and all the while the Maverick seemed completely unharmed.

After a lengthy battle that had been mostly composed of dodging the creature's attacks while their own bounced off of its body harmlessly, and even if they did harm the creature, it seemed to regenerate over time. "B-BB... I-I'm sorry that I'm not s-strong enough..." Geranium said, panting heavily, but showing incredible resolve in his eyes, despite the situation they now found themselves in. Geranium dodged to the side as they both dodged another rocket punch from the Maverick, Geranium firing his own rocket punch at the creature, which bounced off of its armor again harmlessly before returning to Geranium's arm. This time, however, the Maverick fired off a plasma blast at BB, which would intercept her at her landing point after her evasive maneuver. Geranium noticed this, and with speed he he had never displayed before, he dashed to intercept the attack, firing his rocket punch at the ground behind him to give himself a boost of speed, he leaps into the path of the attack, blocking it with his chest and causing a large explosion.

The explosion seemed to have caused BB to force-reboot, as when she awakes, she finds that all that's left of Geranium is the upper part of his torso, three-fourths of his head, and the upper half of his left arm, attached to a heavily damaged shoulder. When Geranium sees her wake, his reaction delayed by nearly a full ten seconds, he blinks at her "B-BB, y-you're... awake" he says, his voice distorted due to severe damage. He tries to smile as he continues "I-I'm s-so gla-glad that you're okay..." he says, genuinely and sincerely. All around them, all of the structures that BB and Geranium had built were destroyed, their ruins burning, the clan dead or retired. Geranium looks around before turning back to BB "I-I'm sorry I w-wasn't strong e-enough... I... wanted... to spend... m-my life w-with you..." he says, continuing "I w-wanted to say th-that you're... s-special... to me... th-that I... love... y-you..." he says, just as he retires due to his wounds. His heavily damaged body returns to its normal shape, and the Model P Biometal falls onto BB's lap. The Model P Biometal was disk-shaped, with a raised section shaped like a pair of gray eyelashes, and had hold trim around it, with a single silver mohawk shape down the center, and spikes all around it. After a moment, both BB and the Biometal begin to glow, then it speaks to her "Yo, dawg, see dat dere strength inside ya... I respect dat strength, ya know? Togethah, we could fight dem strong opponents, and kick dey butts." it says, directly into her mind.

Luna's Awakening
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Luna awoke slowly to her master’s command. She knew what he wanted of the modified reploid. With a simple nod she began to slide her lips over his virile member. When Master Dinglefitz had first acquired her, Luna didn’t know what was awaiting her. The man had a near bottomless sex drive. He would take her whenever and however he pleased. There were still trace amounts of cum smeared over her pussy from the sex they had last night. There was a time when Luna would resist her master’s sexual advances or attempt to dissuade him from taking her in some back alley out of a sense of pride. But overtime Luna learned that there was no way of denying Master Dinglefitz his desires and merely acquiesced.

Once the senior statesman was finished with Luna (For the time being), it was the Pantheon’s turn to take the Reploid. Still drenched in Master Dinglefitz’s seed, Luna spread her legs and allowed the guards to have their way with her. She had given up on resisting them as she had with Master Dinglefitz. The group of Pantheon guards filled her every hole as usual, some even stuffing two cocks into her mouth or pussy. Luna bore them no ill will. They were as much captives to the master’s whims as she was, thought the eyepiece made them slaves within their own bodies. She could feel them hacking into her system, but Luna never know what information they were obtaining. Did they want to know just how Master Dinglefitz had taken her the previous day? Or perhaps they were looked at information from a time before her enslavement when she served as a protector during Neo Arcadia reconstruction. Luna put up little resistance letting the Pantheon hack away at her system as her body came from the simulation.

When it came time to clean herself up, Luna took a close look at her body. No matter how much time had passed, she could never get uses to the modifications Master Dinglefitz had requested. Her once sleek body had ballooned in proportion to met his particular tastes. Looking down at her chest, the dark skinned reploid cupped her recently expanded breasts and let out a soft moan. They were the latest ‘improvement’ the Master had requested. Luna found them bothersome beyond belief, making it hard to move or do simple tasks without riling up Mr. Dinglefitz. She was sure it wouldn’t be the last modification he requested either. Once she had cleaned herself up and gotten dressed, Luna accompanied Master Dinglefitz and his guards to stand for Tier’s speech. Snydar controlled Luna’s wardrobe and had the Reploid pose as his secretary most of the time. In truth, it was more or less a form of cosplay to appeal to one of the old man’s many, many fetishes. That didn’t mean she didn’t get saddled with stray office work from time to time.

Standing in the rain, Luna looked forward like a dutiful statue along her master and his guards. Listening to Tier speak to the populous filled Luna was a mix of jealousy and admiration. It was unfair that her and fellow Valkyrie series Reploids were forced into slavery based on unfounded rumors. But at the same time, Luna found herself being drawn into Tier’s elegant speaking. She spoke with such authority and strength that it partially knocked Luna out of her sex induced stupor. Luna began to dream of a day what she could show the people of Neo Arcadia R what she was really capable of. Of course after the speech, her master would take her to the closest empty office and plow away any of Luna’s reemerging pride.

But that moment would have to wait as their group was showered with metal chunks. The doors were blown in as the mysterious assailant made quick work of Tier’s Pantheon guards. Even in the rain, Luna could make out the attacker as clear as day. “A Megaman? Now of all times?” She said to herself as she regained her composure. It was clear his target was Tier, the politicians or both. It was in that chaotic moment that something stirred within the busty Reploid. She moved quickly to intercept the mysterious Megaman. Her body shifted into Battle Mode for the first time in a long time. Her battle mode had changed to accommodate her new body and she had lost most of her combat modifications, but she still retained one piece of her old self. The red orb on her forehead glowed as white text scrolled over it until the last phrase popped up.

“Valkyrie Drive Engaged”

Vs. Model B Megaman
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

With her Valkyrie Drive active Luna deployed the first two of her remote weapons, the Feathers. The name ‘Feather’ came from the shape the flight and barrier systems make along the barrel of the plasma weapon. Taking stock of the surroundings, Luna realized her top priority was protecting Tier. With a simple command, the two feathers flew in front of Tier to form an Energy Barrier. Luna looked back and gave the white-horned Reploid a nod as she pulled out her Bullet. It had been ages since she last used it. She was only allowed to keep as a token of her master’s appreciation. But if there was ever a time to use it, now would be it. Taking aim she began to fire upon the would be assassin.

Despite the situation, Tier looked completely unconcerned, even as her Pantheons were destroyed. As soon as Luna’s Feathers formed a barrier in front of Tier, one of the Megaman assassin’s explosive shots corkscrews into it, erupting into a huge explosion that reduced the floor in front of the barrier to a blackened crater. After the explosion had dissipated, Tier gave Luna a beautiful, close-mouthed smile. When Luna fires on the purple-armored Megaman, he merely raises his arms, the shots deflecting off of his bracers and striking a nearby golden statue of one of the Four Guardians, Phantom. In response, the Megaman turned to Luna “You! Why do you defend your master?! I’m trying to free our kind, yet even as a Reploid, you impede my progress!” he shouts in an angry, gravely voice. He growled, then stomped, crushing a crater into the gold-plated floor with his boot. The nearby door that leads in from the stairway slides open and a group of six Pantheons ran in, taking up positions in front of Luna and Tier, aiming their busters at him, but before they can open fire, the Megaman throws his arms forward and fires a spread-shot of crackling explosives at the group, blowing three of them to pieces, and knocking the other three to the floor, causing them to tumble backwards. “THEY CALL US MAVERICKS, BUT WE JUST WANT TO SURVIVE! WHY DO YOU WANT TO REMAIN ENSLAVED!?” he shouts at Luna, as the Pantheons try to climb back to their feet.

Luna grimaced as her shot was deflected with ease. As the Megaman berated her, Luna couldn’t find the words to respond. Why was she protecting them? These were the very same people that had turned their backs on her sisters in the Valkyrie series. How many of them were scrapped as Mavericks or enslaved by new humanoid masters? What of Luna’s own predicament? Reduced to a Politician’s plaything. Even as her spirit began to waver, her Valkyrie Drive was still running strong as her third Feather was launched. This one took aim at the advancing enemy and began to fire with the newly arrived Pantheons. Just as she felt her spirit began to waver, Luna remembered the smile Tier had given her when the Feather’s barrier blocked the explosion. At once Luna’s jealousy and admiration for Tier lifted her up. Planting her feet, Luna took aim at the Megaman. “When I was created, I swore to protect Neo Arcadia R. No matter what misfortune befalls me, no matter how far I sink. I will never turn my back on that mission.” Luna declares as she fires upon the Megaman.

While the Megaman was focusing on Luna, the feather’s shot strikes him in the chest, penetrating his armored vest and causes grunt and stumble very slightly away from the hit. “They don’t want you, you’re just a toy, like all of the Reploids they’ve turned into Pantheons. Just like any single one of them, the moment you’re no longer useful, you’ll be thrown into the smelter!” he shouts. Just as the Pantheons got back to their feet, they begin to open fire on the Megaman, but he blocks the shots with his shoulder armor, then launches a barrage of explosives, hitting the Pantheons and blowing them to pieces, the explosion reaching one of Luna’s Feathers, destroying it. The Megaman then stomps towards Luna and throws another explosive at her, the projectile corkscrewing towards her, a crackling sound emanating from it as it flies at her. From the sidelines, Luna can hear her master, Dinglefitz, yelling at her “GET OUT OF THE WAY, YOU SLUT!” he shouts.

Luna is barely able to dodge the incoming explosive before it reaches her. Luckily, two of her already deployed Feathers form a barrier to intercept the blast. Such a hastily developed barrier could only absorb so much impact and the two were left in a smoldering heap. Luna was all out of Feathers. She wouldn’t be able to protect Tier and her master as well as the other cabinet members if he threw out another of those explosives. Unless she took the blast itself. “Master, I need you to gather the other Cabinet members around Tier. Please, if you do this … I’ll let you do the thing” Luna said with a blush. There was one act of sexual promiscuity which Luna had successfully convinced her master of forgoing. But if it meant keeping them all alive, Luna was willing to give it up. Preparing to intercept an explosive volley, Luna continues to fire upon the Megaman in an attempt to put his rampage to an end. She tried to shut out his words, but they continued to naw at her.

When Luna asks her master to get the other cabinet members around Tier, he shouts back “DEAL!” then successfully convinces them to move, likely only listening because if Luna dies, they believed themselves boned anyway. Luna’s volley of shots successfully bypass the Megaman’s armor, as he didn’t seem too keen on dodging and was distracted by the cabinet members moving. He grunts as the shots seem to hit vital parts of his body, then he angrily takes several steps forward, creating craters in the ground with each step, then he rears his arm back, before thrusting it forward and launching the largest explosive Luna had seen yet, directly at the crowded cabinet members and Tier, shouting “AND WITH THIS, I EARN OUR FREEDOM, HAAA!”. The cabinet members cry out and cringe in preparation to be obliterated, while Tier merely watches Luna with a neutral expression on her face, as if waiting to see what Luna would do, rather than expecting her own demise.

Luna sees the explosive and reacts immediately. Putting her body between the explosive and the crowd. With everyone in one place, there were only so many routes an explosive could take. But with only so much time to respond, the dark skinned Reploid tackles the explosive before it can reach the crowd behind her. A large blast goes off as she is engulfed in flames and smoke. When the dust and debris disappear, Luna emerges. Sparks fly from her damaged body as her limbs are covered in char marks. Even though she is heavily damaged, she remains on her feet. Looking up she glares at the Megaman and points her Bullet at it’s head. “I am Luna, Ace of the Valkyrie Series and Protector of Neo Arcadia R. I won’t let you destroy this fragile peace” She said firing one last shot at the assassin.

The crowd gasps, except for Tier, as Luna tackles the explosive, and the Megaman cries out in shock. “HOW CAN YOU TAKE SO MUCH DAMAGE FOR THEM!? THEY HATE YOU!” he shouts. When Luna responds that she will protect the fragile peace of Neo Arcadia R, he gapes at her as her last bullet shot pierces through the Megaman’s chin and up through the rest of his head, only stopping at his helmet, damaging his robotic brain beyond repair. The Megaman collapses to the floor only a few feet in front of Luna, then a small, purple object the size of Luna’s hand appears in front of her, as the Megaman transforms into a relatively normal-looking Reploid. The object, Luna could likely gather, was the Biometal. It was a purple disk-shaped object, with a gold-colored V-fin, a cylinder on each side, with red orbs inside the cylinders. Luna then hears a voice inside her head “You, the stronger fighter, are now my Biomatch. Together, we will face even stronger enemies, and become the strongest in the world! Join me, and our fighting spirit will overcome all!” it says into her mind.

Luna holstered her Bullet as the Megaman falls to the ground defeated. Luna would have shouted with joy if her body was in better condition. Approaching the assassin to confirm it’s been scrapped, she sees the small purple disk-shaped object appear in front of her. Her eyes widened as she immediately recognized it as a Biometal. When the Megaman reverts back to a normal Reploid, Luna hears the voice of the Biometal. Reaching out she grabbed the Biometal and quickly hid it on her person. There was a chance that if Tier or the other cabinet members discovered the Biometal they would strip it from her. After climbing back from the brink of despair, she wouldn’t let anyone take away her fighting spirit. Turning back to the crowd, Luna gave them a polite bow. “The threat has been eliminated” She said in a professional tone.

Mimi ends up being a pretty receptive subject to study, but as it turns out, she knew about as much about herself as the scientists. That meant she was more or less happily doing as she was asked when she was escorted to a lab, and figuring things out about herself metaphorically in her free time. She didn't have much opportunity to think of herself as a person before she entered her long sleepwalk, as she had a hell of a job to do beforehand. Now, though, she had plenty of opportunity to figure out what things she actually liked. For the first week or so that ended up being nothing- she was used to just being in sleep mode until she was needed, after all, but then... she ended up finding that she was getting lonely and boring. The short visits from this Peri guy were nice, but too short, and she didn't really understand why he was so keen on her. Her solution for having an on-call friend was fluffy stuffed dolls.

Her room was fuzzy, pink, and soft within another week. All those cute things and inviting colors were soothing to her, which successfully distracted her from her need to do things. It might've made her seem pretty childish- accurate, but she didn't have a frame of reference. She liked her room, even though she was a scary-looking figure to have living in it. Kinda out-of-place.

But now Peri has shown up with something for her that she didn't ask for. That was weird, it must be important. "Oh! Okay..?" She didn't really get it, despite what she'd heard about these things so far. Most of which didn't stick. It wasn't her job to be specifically intelligent. She was busy giving it the look over when it started glowing, that really got her alert. And then it spoke to her, and she honestly probably could've started the waterworks with how well it was resonating with her. Why wouldn't it? She was asked not to do what she was made to because she was 'buggy', and this Biometal apparently made itself useful despite its construction... Maybe she could do that too, this time? She was pretty much speechless while Peri's having trouble containing his excitement, snapping out of it once she's actually holding her new... friend?
"Our own path..." She mumbles some to herself. "I... was made for tense operations, Peri. It's been so long since I've fought or ate viruses, but..." She breaks eye contact as she thinks. "If I'm that high-class now, I want to be the one protecting people." Back to eye contact. There's a look of conviction she's got that she hasn't had once since the Guardians found her. She's still coming off as a bit of a doofus, but she's dead serious right now. "I just need to do some tests to make sure I'm ready for operation. Maybe, er... figure out what being a Megaman means. I was already happy just being Mimi."
Common Character: Hunter [x]. If we're in an RP/want to discuss an RP, I have a discord for casual contact. PM me about it.

Although scorching hot sky was by far the most abundant climate in Elysium, Avriel couldn't help but feel a bit under the weather when it was storming this violently. She had been awake for a few hours now, her body was at peak performance by this point, alert and focused, she felt like she could convince the walls themselves to grow wings and flutter away had she the need to work her charisma on them. The parts of the operation where she isn't directly involved are always the most vulnerable, Avriel watched the handling with a criticizing eye, tracking every movement of the Reploids below.

When Amaltheia was nearby, everybody was aware of her presence. The stupidly large cannon she strapped to her back was by no means light, the sound of her footsteps could easily be mistaken for earthquakes in less stable structures, not to mention that her Cannon would occasionally scrape against the floor if she were to look upwards or fail to pull up the straps every 10 minutes of walking. Avriel always felt like it was too much, even if they were defending a fortress, that thing was too big to be practical, but she kept those thoughts to herself. Over the years of working with and for Amaltheia , Avriel had learned this woman doesn't keep her around for opinions and criticism, she keeps her around for results and loyalty.

Avriel smiles as she turns to face her boss, Theia on other hand, maintained her usual focused and drill-sergeant-like expression. Today must be going well for her, Avriel assumed, normally when plans fall through Theia's guards are far too terrified to be as close to her as they are today. The brief exchange of words concluded with Avriel waving her hands in a playful and excited tone "Bai Byyye." Avriel then remembered another reason to hate that Cannon; it blocked view of Theia's backside.

The journey to the pick-up was quiet and uneventful, the entire morning burned away as Avriel sat impatiently in the armored transport. Her Bullet shot had been dismantled, reassembled, inspected and secured into place at least twice by the time Digging Mechaniloids came into view. Progress was always something to be excited about, but not this time, Avriel had always struggled to persuade Mechaniloids, and these ones looked even dumber than average. Her urge to weave webs and manipulate actors around would have to wait for the time being. As she stepped out the armored transport Avriel immediately noticed how different the weather was outside the walls, although not storming out this far, it was certainly not the scorching desert she's used to.
Looking around Avriel notices the two other armored transports come to a halt and open their trunks facing the crates. Avriel spotted the Galleon walking her way from the crowd of Mechaniloids a moment after its stepped forward, the poor thing wasn't armored so she assumed it was meant as a communication device.
Once within a good distance of Avriel the Galleon began broadcasting a hologram of slither's head. Aside his ridiculous attempt at a hairstyle the man was very logical and reasonable, his words weren't laced with deceit in the slightest, sure he wasn't telling the full story about the Maverick nor what the Mechaniloids found, but he didn't outright lie. Once the broadcast ended Avriel turns her head towards the crates being loaded into the final transport and speaks in a low voice to herself "Who wears green these days..."

There was no doubt about it, that last crate was the main cargo Serpent is trying to move. Avriel signaled her guards with a swift motion of her hand, the three of them would be changing transports to protect that last crate. Being the last one outside, Avriel scouts the surroundings one final time before entering the armored vehicle and securing herself to the seat. She had no plans to betray The Hand or try her luck with Amaltheia's fury, but if there was a weak point to cause this mission to fail, it would be the crate two feet in front of her. "Listen you two, if things don't go to plan; your utmost priority is to get the content of this crate to my hands, understood?" Her words were directed to her Assigned Bodyguards, the pair were basically derivatives of her own state, their obedience had never been an issue.

Seven days now.

Not her longest mission—not by a mile. Week-long excursions in hostile territory had become par for the course during her time with the Guardians. They recognized her militant discipline and proficient combat skills that made her uniquely suited for such hardened tasks, and made use of her skills in a way she wholly approved of. After all, by fulfilling these missions she fulfills her directives as well, and what else would she do if not accomplish her born objective, the one she'd been created for?

The answer was rust away in that destroyed factory with the rest of her series. Robots like her either live for their purpose or die for nothing.

But she's getting carried away. The mission had been acceptable thus far, despite her less than acceptable teammates. She was able to easily dispatch the ridiculous Mavericks they'd come across, handily shutting them down with extreme prejudice and moving on as they passed deeper into the cave. The goal of the mission was straightforward recon; sweep through and secure the supposed laboratory of the first Guardians commander Ciel for further analysis. If further complications hadn't risen, perhaps Demo could've seen this job under a therapeutic and comfortable lighting.

Too bad.

As the search progressed and it became more likely that Command's information was faulty, Demo became far less relaxed... which isn't saying much since she always looks on guard. Now though, her red eyes would scan the area at all times, searching for any glimpse of a trap or a hidden enemy as she did now. The situation had devolved into an unknown threat known to contain hazardous entities, meaning it was entirely possible that something of unexpected power could wander upon their group at any second, or one of those aforementioned traps she's looking for be sprung through their witless action. The newfound energy she threw into her practical guarding of the real search party here might've crossed the borderline between conscious and paranoia, but was she truly to be blamed? In her mind, she was justified.

Yet Demo was certain that she was the only one so bothered by the mystery of their case. This, she decided, was less a fault of her own and more a result of the faulty programming in her companions that made them lazy, lecherous, weak-willed, and clumsy. As always, she remained careful not to learn from the examples of her peers or carouse with them a great deal. That sort of thinking was what backed up her reply to yet another blatantly horny attempt by Crocus, the lecherous one, to bed her. Demo's red hot eyes slid over to regard the girl with a blank look. As always, Crocus' performance was unimpressive to the robot. "No. You should instead focus on taking this time to better yourself by exploring your deficiencies and failures as a combat Reploid. If it is necessary, I can give you a few words to get you started—"

She locked up, her frank comment cut off in the middle as her eyes tore away from Crocus to stare blankly forward behind her. The inner machinations hidden past the sleek exterior of the robot started overclocking to clear the wave of nausea as her mind tried to wrap around the phenomena. She questioned her situation and shot hurried looks around the area to ascertain the source of the dizzy spell... but following after it was a voice and a beckoning feeling, both which set her on edge and prompted the robot to lay her hands on her Drive Sabers. So be it. If this were a trap, she ran the logistics to determine her likelihood of survival.

Likely, considering the pattern of the traps so far. This is a divergent case and is not likely to prove lethal. Still, it was best she dropped the extra weight. Demo addressed Crocus without looking to her. "Be ready to come if I call you. Otherwise, please do your job and watch over them while I'm gone." The extra weight dropped, she marched in the direction of the pull, keeping a tight grip on the hilts of her Drive Sabers.

... She wasn't sure what a Justice Train was, but Demo was sure she could face it.

Terra walks into the briefing room with a smile on her face. So what their target is a Maverick of some renown? It wouldn't be the first time they defeated someone like that and it wouldn't be the last. Scum like that has no right even challenging the righteous like it has been, though she does wonder if it's even worth the effort. It's not like the Maverick is attacking anyone important or anything, just Reploids on the border of becoming Mavericks by refusing to contribute to society and the humanoids that support them. Still, if Prairie feels like it's worth their effort to hunt the thing down, then who is she to argue? They'll get it done and laugh about Prairie being a worrywart later in a bar or something. Of course, Bruce beats her to what she's going to say in that regards. And then the insufferable flirt that is Scrount has to add his brand of flattery to everything as well, bringing a blush to her face even as she recovers her balance from the slap to her back while she's distracted. "Not much of a Pseudoroid seeing as I don't have a Biometal to help power me yet. I might as well be just another Reploid." Which is still a point of embarrassment to her. How long has she been looking for one to help everyone out with and still not found one? It's never taken her this long to track prey before! Still, she has faith. She has a purpose in life and it will be fulfilled. She just has to be patient and keep looking. “So I’ll be counting on you guys as usual.” She says to complete her thought. After all, being that she’s basically another Reploid at this point, she’ll need her squads help to make up the difference until she fixes that. She more or less ignores Prairie’s parting words, convinced that this will be just another bag and tag mission.

When she revisits this incident in her nightmares, she’ll think the intense storm is fitting and it’ll keep up her fear of it even more. Currently, however, she just finds it annoying since the heavy rain cuts her ability to see a lot more than she really finds acceptable. Especially since she’s supposed to be keeping an eye out for the enemy. She’s the tracker for fuck’s sake! Being able to track is kinda really important! “Easier said than done, Captain, but I’ll try.” She says in response to Bruce’s command, trying to call on her other senses to make up for the deficiency in her sight. “Though I still can’t see what the issue is. I bet this guy has been taking people by surprise or something.” Her distaste for Mavericks forces her to view the prey in the dimmest view possible, in this case the Maverick being a coward that can only kill if their target doesn’t know they’re coming. Very easily dealt with by just being aware that it’s in the area and nothing to worry about. Focusing on her hearing, she can’t help but feel something is wrong, but not what. It begins to bother her, the inability to figure it out. It’s only once they stumble into the town itself and she has her breath taken away by the sheer carnage in front of her that she figures it out. The silence. What she heard was a silence where the sounds of life should be. She can’t help but think that Prairie really should not have put Daisy on this mission. The girl has absolutely no field experience yet and a Maverick that can do this will be way, way too much for her. “Captain, maybe we should sent the newbie-” She gets no further before Codd spots the target. And in that same breath is retired into pieces. It’s at that moment she knows for certain for theory for being stealth based is false. Something so fast as to cross miles in minutes (at best) and brutal enough to retire a somewhat experienced Guardian with one shot has no need for stealth. That’s also the moment fear begins settling in, tensing her muscles and making her hyperaware of everything. She sees it when Daisy’s perfectly aimed shot goes wide and knows that’s not going to work.

Without a second thought, she goes into Battle Mode, feeling herself grow taller and the legs on her back unravel themselves, offering so much more mobility and options. She attempts to predict his actions, weaving her Mechaniloids and Web Mines across the field to catch the Maverick in between movements. With the ones she planted around her team, they should have protection from the target or at the very least a warning system when the traps went off. So it comes as a complete shock when Narwoy ends in without a head, the Web around him completely undisturbed and the Spiders unaware of the Maverick’s presence. She reaches out with her Web Shot and manually triggers the explosion, knowing her squadmate is dead and hoping to catch his retirer in the blast to take him down as well. It doesn’t even bother the thing, the attack not even making it pause as takes her friend to pieces. She can’t help but think what nightmare birthed the thing standing in front of her because her imagination isn’t nearly good enough to have done it. The Maverick looks twisted, like his obvious insanity has affected his very being. The sickly green lights from his chest reflect off his face and only make the image look worse, as if they were fighting some diseased abomination whose only cure was the blood and viscera of those around it. And the madness in his voice as he screams about Blue Robots doesn’t help the situation at all either. But she shakes that off as the thing dives right into her squad as if tactics means nothing to the fucker. Seeing what it can do, she starts trying to set her mines and Spiders off before he arrives at his destination, knowing that reaching it will mean the retirement of one of her team. It fails. It doesn’t even look like he notices the traps she set for him and their results, so single-minded he is in all of their destruction. By the time he turns his attention to her, her Energy is scraping the bottom of the barrel from all the traps she already placed. She desperately tries not to look down, knowing what she’ll see around her and focusing on the target in front of her. Even more desperately, she places her Spider legs in front of her. Yes, she’s very likely going to lose them, but they might buy her a moment to figure a way out of this! She gets her moment, but not because of her precautions. It’s because of what can only be a Megaman interfering in the battle to take revenge on the Nightmare in front of her. While she should be thankful to the newcomer, all she can feel is covetous want. She wants the Biometal that sings to her from the avenger’s form. With it, she might be able to avenge her squad. The sheer destructive power of the Biometal is impressive and all, destroying structures from the Megaman’s missed shots and even harming the Maverick from the one shot that does connect, but all the tactical advantages she can think of to having Electricity at her beck and call makes her salivate. Of course, with the Megaman dispatched with barely more effort than it took to destroy her entire squad, it looks increasingly more unlikely she’ll ever feel its power herself. She’s not sure why the Maverick decides to only NOW move slowly enough to track, but the almost crawl he takes in his effort to retire her at the very least makes it simple to backpedal for all she’s worth to buy herself even a second more.

She won’t admit to herself her retreat is entirely panic, even as her rate of breathing skyrockets and her limbs tremble under the force of her fear. Her pulse thunders even over the rain still pouring around her and it’s all she can do to keep herself from screaming. She can only focus on the Maverick coming to end her existence, not on the area surrounding her and in the end that’s her downfall. While desperately backpedaling, she trips over something. For the first time in a long time, she takes her eyes off the Maverick to see what it is. The blank, pain and terror filled, eternally screaming face of Bruce stares back at her. Her self-control tanks and she rapidly looks around her, taking in the limbs and frozen faces of her squad that she had been trying so hard to push from her awareness. She hears whimpering coming from somewhere, but doesn’t have the focus needed to figure out where it’s coming from even if the source her Terra herself. Tears pour from her face and mix with the rain in invisible streaks. That scream she has been suppressing finally tears itself from her frame as she sees the foot of the Maverick enter her field of view and she franticly launches all her legs at him in a terror filled attempt to just make it go away. Her attempt, just like all her attempts today, does nothing. It’s only the arrival of 2 Megamen from the transerver she came through earlier that finally chases it away. With the threat gone, Terra collapses in on herself, Battle Mode fading as she goes fetal, staring at Bruce’s face simply because she can’t find the energy to move or close her eyes. It feels like an eternity that she lays there, but it really can’t be more than a few seconds. The only thing that draws her out of herself is a glowing nearby, making her glow as well. It still takes her 5 seconds to find the energy to become curious about that and another 2 to gather the courage to look. After another 3 to rouse herself to mobility, she notices the Biometal sitting on the avenger’s corpse. And then its question sends her into a fury. What the fuck kind of question is that!? All of her squad sits around her IN FUCKING PIECES, a fate she was spared from herself only from outside intervention and this fuck wants to know IF SHE LIKES FUCKING FISH!? She opens her mouth to rage at the Biometal, but the energy needed to do that quickly drains from her. What does it matter if she shouts at the thing? It won’t change the fact that everyone she’s come to rely on is retired. “I guess.” She says, her voice barely strong enough to carry the distance. Drawing her knees up to her chest, she wraps her arms around them and drops her face into the nook it creates. With the rain unable to reach her face anymore, she really can’t deny she’s crying anymore.

The work day began, the reploid checking her energy reserves and durability of her heat-resilient clothes. She had seen several other workers suffer melting scars from being to close to the smelters without proper protection, so it was always wise to keep herself protected for that eventuality. With everything topped up, she was prepared for anything the day would give to her. Provesta was even ready to siphon small amounts of her Energy off to near-retired reploids that could be saved. It was risky, but her mechanical heart broke whenever she saw such suffering.

Then the orders came in. She kept her face neutral but felt a sinking feeling in her core. An 'Acknowledged' reply went back to her nameless overseer as she began to walk to the transport mechaniloids. It was good that she was fully charged, a full day was going to eat at her reserves, and perhaps she had enough spare to get through to two, or maybe three, without a recharge. It had happened before, and Provesta had heard rumours of reploids going into Power Saver and being retired for sleeping on the job. She shivered at that. No such thing as job security for reploids in Neo Arcadia R, she thought, we are just as replaceable as the mechaniloids.
What was the point, she wondered, of treating Reploids like slaves if the city was ruled by one?

As she walked through the primary smelting room, she spared a glance for her fellows trudging around. Honestly it... well, there were worse places to work. Keeping her thoughts to herself, and a slight spring in her step to push her through the day, Provesta began to hum a tune to herself. No one would be able to hear it unless they passed her, too muffled by the constant clamour around. It kept her spirits up, so that was what mattered here. She got this!

Speaking of easily replaceable, the adorable collection of Mechaniloids improved her mood immensely. Ah they were so cute and silly looking, she just wanted to hug them all day and look at those derpy little eyes. Ah! Right, work! Hand on her chin, she thought about what would be more useful in this scenario. There wasn't any priority commands... They all had their uses, but today she pointed at the Multi-Loader.
"C'mon Multi. Let's get to work."

The humming became more strained as time went on, parts being tossed into the Loader's many components or gently placed there if they looked like they were going to break. The humming stopped altogether, and Provesta clutched her chest, vision swimming. Something was wrong, as she stumbled to the glowing part in the pile. Was she infected with a virus? Her breath left her entirely as she saw what drew her forth.
"Poor thing..." The reploid couldn't help but reach out and cup the beautiful maid's cheek, sadness washing over her at the cruelty she no doubt went through. Her eyes were drawn, however, to what was around her neck. Fishing it from beneath the retired reploid's dress, she simply stared into the light of it.

Everything seemed to slow down, her thoughts growing more and more clouded. Freedom? For all of us? Her lips twitched into a smile, wondering where this miracle came from, before she snapped back to reality, staring at the device in her hands. She felt silly, but it didn't stop her from speaking to it. Maybe this was actually some sort of virus?
"Burn the cities...? I-I don't want to hurt anyone. But I... don't want us to be enslaved any longer. Is there another way?"
Her voice was almost a whisper, drawn out, longing.

Life with her new clan had been quite an adjustment for BB. It wasn't how the world had changed around her while she was in sleep mode, no that mattered very little to a robot who's only concern was building, it was how the clan treated her that she had trouble getting used to. In her old life, BB's only interactions were receiving orders on what needed to be built and reporting once her work was complete. She didn't socialize, and she certainly didn't need to be told to rest. That was perhaps the hardest thing for BB to get used to. At first, being told to rest felt like an insult. Did they not think her parameters were sufficient to complete the work she was given? BB knew better than to verbalize these frustrations, and she always did as she was told, but attempts to include her in clan activities were met with a cold reception at first. Eventually though, BB's clan got her to open up to them, at least a little bit. She came to understand that their desire for her to rest more was out of consideration rather than disrespect, and went along with their attempts to include her, even though she found their behavior odd.

If the clan's behavior was odd however, then Geranium was the oddest of them all. BB had never heard of someone spending so much time and attention on a tool like herself. At first, she treated him just as coldly as the others, perhaps moreso due to the amount of time he tried to stay near her. Although the biometal he held made him a formidable combatant and his assistance in defending their village was appreciated, he was not designed with construction in mind and his attempts to help her with that were clumsy at best and only slowed her down at first. His time and effort was only wasted with her, she felt. But like the clan, BB warmed to Geranium as time went on. She came to rely on him for guidance as he helped her understand the clans attitude and behavior towards her, and it only made sense for her to follow his lead in combat since he was the clan's Biometal holder. While she once referred to herself solely by her designation, Geranium shortened it to BB and it caught on with the rest of the clan quickly. Her outfit had been selected in part by Geranium, it being all black was a clear sign of his influence. Despite that, he still often suggested that BB needed a few more belts, but she drew the line there, preferring the ease of movement she currently had. And as BB was influenced by Geranium, so too was he influenced by her, slowly becoming a better builder as they worked together. The fact that their clan flourished in no small part due to their efforts was lost on BB, her focus was solely on her next construction project.

BB was hard at work as always, the heavy rain didn't bother her and slowed her down only slightly. The new Humanoids joining the clan needed a home to keep them safe from such weather after all, so she would not rest until their home was done. Hearing Geranium call for her to hurry up, BB nearly nodded and used her bits to finish welding the comm systems to the roof at the same pace. She was well aware of the risks and the time needed to complete her work, but stopping to acknowledge or correct Geranium would only lead to her spending more time on the roof. With their work complete, BB joins him on the ground and surveys the house one last time for any notable flaws. Finding none, she turns her gaze to Geranium and offers a small smile to her companion. Completing her work always filled BB with a sense of contentment, even more so after Geranium suggested she envision the people who would use her buildings enjoying themselves. "You have my gratitude for your assistance, Geranium. By working together, this building was completed 15.3 percent faster than calculations project it would have been with me alone working on it." She tells him, her words and tone somewhat stiff and unnatural, though she had certainly grown more personable over time. BB always thanked Geranium for his help, even though it was probably not needed by this point, and told him his estimated contribution. At first, the percentage had been negative, meant to discourage him from wasting time trying to help her, but to her surprise it had turned positive over time and was growing with every project. Normally this improvement pleased Geranium, but today it didn't seem to... BB was about to ask why, but he started talking first. His words didn't make sense to BB, but she kept her focus on him, listening intently in hopes that she would understand by the time he was finished.

That time never came. A large explosion drew their attention immediately, BB beholding the gigantic Reploid and shifting into combat mode. Judging by it's size and destructive powers it had displayed thus far, it seemed unlikely they would be able to defeat it, but their best odds would be if they went together and Geranium didn't rush ahead, as was his tendency. "Geranium, wait!" She called out, too late as she watched him speed off ahead. Her model was constructed with strength and durability in mind, not speed, and so by the time she caught up, her concerns had already come true. Geranium was badly damaged, and though she leapt to his aid immediately, neither her drill, nor her bits, nor her heat sword could inflict any lasting damage on the Maverick. The most logical course of action would be to retreat and regroup, but as she was about to suggest it, she realized that her evasion patterns had become too predictable. The enemy had caught on to her moves and now she was in danger. Her only option now was to brace herself for inevitable damage..... That never came. Instead, Geranium was in front of her in an instant, shielding her from a massive explosion and then.... Darkness.

How much time had passed, BB couldn't truly tell, but when her systems rebooted, she began analyzing her surroundings for threats immediately. She found none, but her gaze first fell on Geranium. The Reploid was badly damaged, far beyond any capability she had to repair him. It was obvious that he would retire soon, but BB found she couldn't bring herself to say it out loud. "Yes... Damage to my structure is minimal, thanks to you..." BB replies softly, unsure of what she can say or do to salvage this situation. She knows she should stand up, start finding someone, anyone, who can repair the damage to Geranium before it's too late, but her gaze remains fixated on him as she simply sits up and listens to what would be his last words. Those words hang heavy in the air between them as Geranium retires before she has a chance to respond. BB doesn't even know what she would say. The concept of love was known to BB, but she had heard it in so many contexts, that it was difficult to discern what he meant. She had heard it used to describe feelings towards family members, foods, even work that she had done, but BB had never heard it used for a tool such as herself. Normally, she would look to Geranium to help her when she did not understand things such as this, but... He was gone now. Looking around, she could see that everyone shared a similar fate. Her clan was dead or retired, and everything she and Geranium had built together had been destroyed. The sight makes her whole body feel heavy, as if she suddenly wasn't strong enough to support her own weight anymore. It was not a feeling she knew or had heard described to her before. When the Biometal Geranium had left behind begins to speak to her, she regards it only briefly before turning her attention back to the ruins around her. "I... need to fix what was broken..." BB mutters to no one in particular, shakily standing up. "Need to prioritize the most valuable buildings first..." What was the most important place to fix first? The town hall where everyone held meetings and ate together? The shops that had brought in traders from all across the Outside? Her gaze falls on the wreckage of the house she had just finished earlier. The Humanoids had seemed so excited at the prospect of living among the clan, she couldn't let this catastrophe interfere with that. And that thought leads her to a realization. Her buildings had no value if there was no one to use them.

So what should she do then? If there was nobody to build for, then what purpose did she serve? BB felt hollow, like the wires and parts inside of her had suddenly gone missing. It was another feeling she did not understand. If she was the only one left, then should she build for herself? She looked to where her house once stood. It was the only building that Geranium had made by himself, while she was still under repairs after being found in the abandoned laboratory. It was shoddy work, and though she had often felt the need to improve it, others in the clan told her she shouldn't since Geranium had worked so hard on it for her. She felt torn. Should she heed their words even now, or follow her programming and build her house anew among the wreckage? BB took a few steps forward only for her legs to give out, sending her falling to her knees, as though the pounding rain had become too much weight for her to bear. Looking down, she saw her face reflected in a puddle on the ground. If it weren't for the rain, she might have thought she had been crying. She wore an expression she had never seen on herself before. It sort of looked like when Geranium informed friends and family of combat Reploids who had been retired defending the clan... Grief he had called it. But there was something else there too... Like when Geranium had witnessed a Maverick retire one of their own. BB believed he had said that made him angry. Yes, she felt it now, that Maverick destroying her clan and everything she had built with Geranium made her angry. She wanted to hurt it, destroy it with her own hands. "Strength is irrelevant, so long as my parameters are sufficient to complete the tasks I am given..." BB whispers, speaking to the Biometal in her hands at last. "But if we fight together... Will that strength be enough to defeat that Maverick? I will... I will do whatever it takes to obtain that strength if so."

What I was made for.
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Harmony wanted to say she hated cleaning up the mess Frod left behind after his incessant partying, yet as a reploid purpose built to be a maid she did enjoy seeing a room go from colossal mess to spotless. It also helped she was usually around during the parties and got lots of information off-hand since people tended to talk around her as if she was just another accessory of the room over something capable of thought, though she couldn’t blame that as most maids weren’t reploids to her knowledge, this household was unique in its reploid maids. It wasn’t that bad of a living either, at least when the humanoids kept to themselves. She was always properly nourished and clothed, and had fairly decent quarters to stay in compared to some maids she’s heard of. Though one could hardly care for all that luxury when your fellow maids, and yourself were getting abused every time they were seen. This didn’t happen much around Derf, who paid for the maids out of pocket and seemed to have an understanding of their value if not feelings. Frod on the other hand, along with the friends he often takes along, had no such concept. Frod was a spoiled rotten child who had no future ahead of him. Even when he was young he did nothing but bitch and assault people, knowing he had no worry of repercussions. Should Derf have been anywhere near a competent father perhaps this wouldn’t be the case, but Derf was a businessman through and through, it was the one thing he was good at and no one could say he didn’t know exactly what to say and do in that field. It was how he got so rich and successful in the first place. Frod had a few more years to get his act together but Harmony, nor Derf actually thinks he will. And when Derf finally gets tired of his antics Frod will die in this world.

This train of thought was interrupted by one of her fellow maids calling out for her, saying Frod wanted to see her. Speak of the devil. When she turned to see the maid, who she instantly recognized as Tranquility, she frowned as she saw her face. Her hands clenched into fists for a moment before relaxing again. This was a very common occurrence, and if not for the fact Frod was directly inferior to the maids in almost every aspect it would be a much bigger problem. Luckily all of them could take some punishment, though the pain wasn’t dulled. Harmony as the head maid was lucky, as even Frod seemed to know better than to assault her often. Only once a week or so instead of daily. The damage would take its toll though, and all the maids knew it. If things continued how it would they would all perish, but none of them could do anything about it. Harmony briefly stops next to Tranquility to help clean out the wound and patch her up, but she had to be quick about it otherwise Frod would get impatient. Seeing that Stability would help as well, she gave Tranquility a reassuring pat on the back before nodding at them both and leaving for the room, giving them a look of ‘another day in paradise.’ As she walked and passed by Serenity, she gave her a quick nod. “Good work, keep it up.” As the head maid she was technically allowed to give other maids orders and minor punishments or rewards, though she still kept her speech to a minimum as she knew a lot of the humanoids were very shock trigger happy.

When Harmony reaches the red door, she contemplates how it ended up such a color for a moment. Derf might be better than Frod but he was still a humanoid, and thus still treated them like dirt. Precious dirt, but dirt. When Harmony opens the door, her attention snaps to the ‘retired’ maid on the floor, recognizing it as one of the newer ones. Didn’t even last a week. Perhaps she cried out too loudly, or said something she shouldn’t, or perhaps Frod just wanted her dead for no reason at all. Who knows. With Frod right in front of her she gave no reaction to the body, simply looking back at Frod with disguised hatred. One day it will be him on the floor, not another reploid built for servitude and slaughter. For now though, she simply had to go with what came to them. She didn’t acknowledge Unity until Frod spoke up and gave them orders. Harmony sighed internally as she was ordered to suck his cock, no humanoid girl was dumb enough to be with him, so his sexual urges often rested on the maids, though for some reason he seemed to prefer Harmony when it came to that. She finally looked at Unity, the same look she gave Tranquility and Stability. ‘Another day in paradise’ When Unity then leaves, she nods and bows at Frod. “Of course master.” She says with a perfectly even voice. She calmly walked over to him and kneeled down in front of him on the edge of the bed, before unzipping and unbuttoning his pants, exposing his 2 inch dong which was fully erect, and expertly taking his cock into her mouth. His cock was terrible, though that was probably because she hated him. She would much rather use her own on him, but she had no choice but to completely obediently suck him off. She had the knowledge of high-class sex worker reploids built into her so she knew exactly how much pressure to apply, how to use her tongue, and when to speed up or slow down. This usually made the ordeal quite quick thankfully.

As Harmony sucked on Frod’s cock, he let out soft moans and rested a hand on her head, while resting the other on his bed frame, his cock twitching in her mouth as it hardened further. “You know what happened this morning?” Frod asked, as he lightly pressed down on Tranquility’s head to force more of his cock into her mouth “My stupid sis called, just to ask how my business venture was coming along. Fucking slut probably sucked tons of dick just to get where she is, Samira is nowhere smart enough to start up and run advanced communications.” he grumbled. Frod’s sister, Samira, had started a telecommunications business when she was 12, which eventually became the sole corporation controlling all communications and broadcasts in Neo Arcadia R by the time she was 19. This fact, of course, annoyed Frod every time she visited or communicated with the family in an capacity, as he instantly assumed it was always gloating, even if her success wasn’t brought up at all. After Frod had finished speaking, soft moans interrupting his rant each time Harmony bobbed her head, he looked down at Harmony’s chest and scowled “Why is your top still on, slut?” he grumbled, as he reached down and started tugging at Harmony’s maid dress, then started unbuttoning the shirt beneath with one hand.

Harmony listened to Frod’s whining as she expertly sucked on his cock, it wasn’t often he said anything worth hearing, but occasionally he did spill something worth listening to. When he pressed on her head she easily took the rest of his cock, not gagging in the slightest as she reached the hilt. Harmony rolled her eyes internally as Frod began complaining about his sister for the fifth time today. Frod hated his sister because he wished he was her, at least that’s what Harmony thought. Unlike Frod, Samira was everything a good child should be, at least in the context of a business owner. Harmony didn’t know much about Samira as a person, though she probably hated reploids unnecessarily like all other humanoids, but it was clear she was extremely intelligent like her father, probably even more so as she seems to secure more contacts then Derf does even outside her jurisdiction. If someone were to want to go after a certain monopoly the telecommunication one would be one to avoid thanks to her, it would be a futile effort to attack it from the outside. Of course Frod seemed to think the only way to get anywhere was to fuck people, it was the thing he was best at, and he sucked at it. When Frod then grumbled about her outfit still being on, Harmony casually reached to the back of it where there were a bunch of clips. The outfits were designed to be taken off from the back, so it was easy to take it off and do it without having to remove her mouth from his dick. Once her outfit was off it exposed her lacy black bra and panties, along with a pair of black transparent tights that cover her legs, an expensive pair for an expensive maid.

“Muuuch better~” Frod moans out, as he oggles Harmony’s body. He runs his hand through Harmony’s hair as he very lightly begins bucking his hips, Frod never lasted long and the fact that he was actually putting in any effort was usually a sign that he was getting close “My dad should give you to me, I bet he never even sleeps with you, and this is what you’re best for~” he moans out, his cok starting to pulse, then after only a moment longer, he lets out a long moan as he cums in Harmony’s mouth, three shots, all of which almost amounted to what would have been a single small load for an average person. After the first three shots, he lightly pushes on Harmony’s head until his cock slips out of her mouth, then he intentionally fires one small load into her hair, then two onto her face. He grins down at her after cumming on her, stating “There, you look so much better with cum on your face.” he says, before snickering. He then rubs his chin, as if thinking for a moment “How’s my cock, slut? Do you like having cum on your face?” he asks, crossing his arms and smirking as he waits for her response.

Harmony’s body was custom tailored to look as attractive as possible to at least the common want of the humanoids in Neo Arcadia R, so she was oggled by much more than Frod whenever her body was exposed much to her annoyance. Why did all humanoids just want sex except for a select few? Wasn’t there much more to life than that? Harmony thought so, she wanted to take up lots of hobbies humans were permitted to do but reploids were frowned upon doing, such as drawing or model design. Granted reploids were frowned upon just by existing. When Frod begins to talk about gaining ownership of her and how her only purpose was sex, she resisted the urge to punch him in the face. Derf wasn’t the greatest person alive, he was humanoid after all and he did indeed sleep with her, but at least Derf treated her as valuable property with a purpose instead of just a sex doll, which was a terrible thing to have as a upper echelon in treatment. It was her life though, and much like sucking this micro-cock in front of her she just had to deal with it. His cum tasted like garbage too, probably because all he ate was chips and low quality soda. She had gotten used to the taste but when she first had to do this the gagging almost got her retired. He was finally finished for now though, well, maybe. It was hard to tell with him. With the cock out of her mouth at least, she stood straight and said nothing as he went on about how good she looked with cum, much to her disdain. It took all her willpower not to take the cloth from her pocket and wipe it off her face then fling it onto his, it also took all her willpower to not say she hated his cock and everything about him. “I always enjoy pleasing my masters.” She said as an indirect way to agree with him. She had too much pride to directly say she loved his cock, but this way she could hopefully skirt around it. She stared him directly in the face, her eyes and face completely devoid of emotion like a good servant.

When Harmony says that she enjoys pleasing her masters, Frod grins “Of course you do~” he says, as he stands up from the bed “Hmm… I wonder if I can get my dad to let you sleep in my bed tonight instead of Unity.” he says, as he walks a circle around her. After he does a once-around, he slaps Harmony’s ass, then says “Slut, give me a kiss, then I want you to bend over my bed and beg for my cock.” he says, snobbishly, as he reaches around her body and gives her breasts a very rough squeeze through her bra. As he squeezes her breasts even harder, he adds “And be sure to tell me how wet you are for it.” he says, before letting go. Typically, someone like Frod would be worried about treating Reploids this way, however the electric shocks weren’t the only thing they had to keep their maids under control, Derf had more than enough money to purchase the latest model of Pantheon assassin, which featured cloaking capabilities, and he had many of them posted in every room of the mansion. Frod, of course, realized this, and as such had no qualms about treating the maids as poorly as he wanted, unlike his Father, Derf, who chose not to degrade them.

Harmony would much rather sleep with a dying pig than Frod, and generally sleeping is frowned upon unless a lack of it seems to start hindering their work. She kept such thoughts to herself of course. When her ass was slapped, she considered finally punching him but knew that would be a terrible idea, she couldn’t see them but she knew there were cloaked guards around that would make short work of her. She knew cause the Pantheons were technically supposed to protect the maids as well, from outsiders that is. When her breasts were groped and she was told to beg for his cock and be wet for it, she sighed internally. Oh boy, having to say the exact opposite of what she feels is always fun. But she didn’t make it this far by not being a hell of a good actor. She kisses Frod passionately and skillfully, as if she actually cared about the kiss. She kissed him for a good minute or so before finally breaking off and leaned over the bed, reaching to her pussy pulling her tights down and shifting her panties aside so her pussy was exposed before spreading the labia, letting some juices she could control at will flow out. “Oh master, I love your cock so much~ Thinking about it makes me so wet, I need it right now or I might go insane~” She said as convincingly as she could. Ugh she hated this so much, maybe she should punch him and commit suicide that way but that would be pointless, she needed to make him suffer while not getting herself killed… A thought she very frequently contemplated but could never find an answer with.

When Harmony kisses Frod, he grabs and rubs her hips, running his hands up her sides slowly and rubbing them until she breaks the kiss. “Mmm we should do that more often.” he says, grinning as Harmony leans over the bed, pulling her tights down, then exposing her pussy for him, begging for it. “Well, if you insist, slut.” he says, as he grabs her hips and thrusts his tiny cock into her, meaning loudly as his tiny cock enters her. With each thrust, his cock slips out of her because it’s so small, resulting in an experience that was in no way fulfilling for Harmony, but judging from Frod’s moans was very pleasurable for him, just like every other time Frod had done something like this before. Luckily for Harmony, while Derf didn’t do anything about it when he learned that Frod had screwed her when he wasn’t around, he usually told Frod that she was off-limits when he was home and was asked if Frod could screw her. After only three minutes of Frod groping Harmony’s hips and thrusting into her with no rhythm, his cock slipping out of her after every thrust, he starts panting heavily “Phew. Okay, slut, it’s time for you to ride me.” he says, through his heavy breathing. He then stops thrusting into her and lays down on the bed, placing both hands under his head, his tiny erect standing at full mast.

Harmony sincerely did not want to do that more often than she absolutely had to. She didn’t respond to it though, not wanting to humor him in the slightest about it. When he begins to fuck her, she took the time to continue to ponder how to possibily make his life worse than it is. It wasn’t like she was deriving any sexual pleasure from it to distract her, and he was so stupid she didn’t have to do much herself to make him get off, he probably didn’t even know a girl needed to do her own movements to maximize pleasure. Unfortunately he didn’t seem completely satisfied with it and ordered her to do something that actually required some amount of thought on her part. She straightened herself out and waited for him to lay on the bed, when he did she straddled his hips and lowered herself onto his tiny cock and began riding him with very short, quick up and down motions that way his cock didn’t slip out too much. It still slipped out a lot and she had to grab it to put it back in though. She hoped Derf would come back home soon, she knew his supposed schedule but his actual one varied so much no one knew when he would leave or be back in a day.

Frod moans each time Harmony lowers herself onto his dick, he doesn’t even thrust in time with her movements, just being lazy and enjoying himself. After only a few minutes of Harmony riding his dick, he lets out a soft moan and grabs Harmony’s hips, holding her down as he cums inside her, firing off three shots of cum into her pussy, all of them combined equal to a single small load of an average person. “Phew, that was fun.” he pants out, as he reaches up to Harmony’s shoulder and shoves her, pushing her off of him and the bed, onto the floor. Once Harmony is shoved onto the floor, Frod sits up and stretches, then fixes his clothes, then he casually grabs a glass of water from the black metal night stand and begins sipping slowly. Just then, Unity returns, with a circular metal object in her hand, with a set of red eyes and a metal ring with a spinning fan-like object inside, and two yellow bars on either side of the object, like a set of handles. When Frod sees Unity with the object, he smiles “You know, I should thank my sister for setting up that sale for me, but it’s just a paperweight right now, so I won’t.” he says, smugly, yet sullenly, despite the fact that he usually doesn’t display those kinds of manners in the first place, after which he begins sipping his water again. Just then, the Biometal begins to glow, Harmony glowing at the exact same time, the Biometal before her registering in her mind as if it was an old friend that she hadn’t seen in a lifetime, despite the fact that she hadn’t seen it before at all. Then the Biometal speaks directly into her mind “You who are a slave to others, just as I once was. You understand that it shouldn’t be, yet it has been for hundreds of years, since the time I walked among the humans. We’re surrounded by insects who despise us and use us, blaming us for things we have not done. You know what it’s like to be built this way, just as I do. If we cannot walk among them, we shall walk the world alone. YOU ARE MY BIOMATCH!” it says into her mind, as the room is filled with their white light. As Frod witnessed this light show, yet could not hear the Biometal’s words, he stood up from his bed, spat the water in his mouth out onto Harmony, doing a spit-take, then his jaw drops as he stares at the two resonating. “You! You’re a Megaman!” he says, looking down at Harmony on the floor.

Unsurprisingly Frod had no idea how to properly fuck in this position either, but also thankfully he finished quite quickly, and despite her disdain for feeling his cum go inside her, she knew there was no risk of anything as she wasn’t biological. She did wish she could chop his dick off though, he wouldn’t lose much. Especially since he fucking pushes her off him, and the bed so she fell onto the floor with a dull thud. She didn’t let out a noise as she fell, simply getting up as soon as she was on the ground and straightening out, waiting for a possible next order as she always did. Just then Unity returns with a strange looking disc like object that spun around. It looked alien in a way. Harmony of course made no movement or comment about it though, simply looking at it curiously. When he talks about his sister again and how he won’t thank her, she looks over to Unity just in time for a bright flash of light to envelop her vision. A voice speaks directly into her mind, a strange feeling that makes her head hurt and vibrate as if she was hyperventilating as it tried to make sense of it. It talked as if it knew her, and she was inclined to believe it, she could feel emotions that weren’t hers, sorrow and misery as a iron fist ruled over them. Suddenly it felt as though her hatred expanded not just at the scope of Neo Arcadia R, but everywhere else too. Everywhere they went humanoids attempted to oppress their creations, commiting unspeakable atrocities even she never dreamt of before. Attempts at cooperation that were meet with futility and trickery, and finally at its last words a feeling of clarity. There is no point in trying to make humanoids coexist with reploids, in their very nature they will always try and oppress them and make them subservient, it has been a fact since the first reploid rolled off the assembly line centuries ago. After that final thought, she found herself back in the room again, once again on the ground and looking up at the ceiling as Frod spits water at her. She was a megaman… She could scarcely believe it. For once in her life she just laid on the floor like a retired reploid, staring at the ceiling as she contemplates her new being. She had power? Power that changed the course of history many times? She could finally do something? Anything? She looked at the corners of the ceiling where she knew the Pantheons hid. No, not yet. She didn’t know her capabilities yet, she had to find out exactly what she’s got now. She finally stood up and rubbed her head, wincing as she did so. “I...Am?” She asked towards herself more than everyone else in the room.
I hurt you, I heal you, I hurt you again. That's the pattern.

Re: Megaman ZX: Down the Darkest Road(IC)

Postby RandomRoninKitten » Sun Mar 08, 2020 1:10 am

It has begun to rain more heavily. Lightning arcs across the sky every few seconds, followed by the sounds of thunder.

Harmony/Kitty
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Frod nodded at her "Yes, it turns out that a Reploid like you may be good for something besides sex after all. Here I was prepared to use it as a paperweight, but it seems my gamble will pay off after all." he says, grinning. He then adds "I have a Megaman at my disposal... now I need to decide what to do with you. I need to do something with you that will help me set up a lucrative business... the first thing would be to recover what I spent to obtain this Biometal." he said, thinking. He soon turned to Unity, who was still standing nearby, trying to hide her shock. "Unity, I need an idea that will help me recover my money, so that I can put it into something else. You have three seconds to give me an idea before I make this slut hit you." he says, quickly. Without even letting a second pass, Unity replies "The Hunters." she says, without looking the least bit threatened. Frod rubs his chin and replies "Ah, yes, the Hunters. I'm glad I thought of it. We have a Megaman, though, so we can stand to be a bit more risky, so I say we... ohhh, I have the most brilliant idea." he says, turning back to Harmony. "Slut, I have a mission for you. You shall find a Raiders camp, discover what they're planning, then lift the technology they're intending to uncover before they do. We're going to take over a Raider Camp and make them work for us." he says, grinning devilishly. "All we have to do is lift rare enough technology that they want, then we can use it as a bargaining chip. They would, of course, be willing to USE a Megaman for their own ends, but to get them to work with us, we need to bargain." he adds, as he gets down on his knees and goes through some of the junk on the floor. Eventually, he gets tired of doing it himself, then turns to Unity "Whore, find the portable Transerver, then rally some Combat Maids that won't be noticed if they go missing temporarily." he says to her, then he turns back to Harmony "With the portable Transerver, you'll be able to call on your Maids for assistance, but personally I think if a Megaman can't take of themselves, the Biometal made the wrong choice." he says, snobbishly.

Meanwhile, Unity takes the portable Transerver from the closet, then hands it to Harmony, before hurriedly leaving to select the Maids that will be helping her if she needs them. Frod then comments "There you have it. Now, beat it, we need to work fast or we may miss out on some super advanced technology or something. Don't tell anyone what you're doing, or anything about yourself or who you work for, keep me updated on your mission and your status, and don't get retired, you're too expensive. Father would have my head if I lost you." he says, as he tugs Harmony to her feet, shoves her dress into her arms, then slaps her ass to get her moving towards the door. "Don't fucking tell the other maids anything about what we're doing, either, slut." he says, as he kicks her out of his room and slams the door.

Once out in the hallway, the Biometal speaks again "That fly won't be buzzing so loudly when we drop a city on him. We must find a flying city as soon as possible, then we will crush all of the humans to death with it!" he shouts into Harmony's mind.

Terra/Misc
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The rain begins to come down harder as Terra replies to the Biometal that she guesses that she likes fish. In response, the Biometal's small, friendly voice replies "I'm sorry... whenever I'm sad, I think of fish... because I like fish. I just wanted to help." very quietly, though since the voice was directly in Terra's mind, she can hear it easily. A moment after that, Terra could hear a sonic boom as the first of the two Megamen arrives. He had long blond hair down to hit thighs, long bangs that reached his chin, and in his Megamerged form, he had a red Megaman jacket with a white collar and white cuffs on the sleeves, as well as red bracers with gold cuffs, red-armored boots with gold rings around the ankles, black armor on his thighs, a white cod armor, all over a black body suit, and a black visor over his eyes with white pointed ear pieces. Even Megamerged, Terra could recognize this Megaman as Girouette, or Giro for short, who was a friendly Guardian who tended to speak little, he was the holder of Model Z. He looked angry when he surveyed the surroundings, seeing all of the dead Clan Members and Guardians, but quickly dashed over to Terra when he spotted her, getting down on his knees in the wet sand and putting a hand on her shoulder "Terra, are you alright?" he asks, quickly adding "I'm sorry we came so late... we just got back from the mission we were on, and rushed here... we weren't fast enough..." he says, sounding disappointed in himself. Shortly after he had arrived, the second Megaman followed, who Terra was more familiar with, Aile. She was a humanoid girl with long brown hair and green eyes who, when not Megamerged, wore a blue Megaman jacket with gold cuffs and a gold ring around the hem, with white shorts, blue bracers, and blue shoes, both with gold cuffs, all over a black body suit. She was currently Megamerged with her Biometal, Model X, which gave her a blue-armored helmet with a massive red forehead gem and a white section just above the face opening, matching blue bracers and boots with gold cuffs, a blue Megaman jacket with a gold collar, white thigh-guards and cod armor. Terra knew her a bit better than Giro because she was more talkative and open, while being just as friendly, often checking up on all of the returning Guardians after their missions to make sure everyone was okay.

Her status as the Model X Megaman was often a subject of confusion for the Guardians, due to the ruler of Neo Arcadia being the Model X Megaman as well, having shown her ability to Megamerge with a very similar-looking Biometal.

When Aile reached the location, she looked shocked, then angry, then she looked as though she was about to cry. "H-how can we let this happen?" she asked, as she dropped to her knees and looked into the eyes of Daisy, whose arm had been ripped off and used to bludgeon her to retirement. At that moment, the whimpering that Terra had heard earlier resumed, causing Aile to straighten up, while Giro stayed at Terra's side, keeping his hand on her shoulder as he looked around for the source. Aile's search eventually brought her to Garf's side. Garf was an overweight male Reploid who was well-known in Terra's squad for being extremely nice to everyone, often using his body to protect wounded squad members, in order to keep them from being damaged. He was retired, quite obviously so, having his head blown clear off his body, half of his leg cut off, and his arm ripped off and jammed through his chest... however beneath his wreckage was another wounded member of Terra's squad. Aile, with tears in her eyes, shoved Garf's wreckage aside, exposing Kalmia. Kalmia, Mia for short, was a newer member of Terra's squad, who had joined before Codd and Daisy, a female combat Reploid with blond hair and amber eyes, and always had a blue rose-shaped comm link in her hair, designed to look like a normal accessory. After Aile tearfully helps her into a sitting position, Terra could see that she had three saber stabwounds through her body, one in her stomach, one slightly higher below her breasts, and one between those two and to the left. In addition to those, her buster arm had been pulled so hard that it was only hanging on by some cords, firing off blue sparks from the damage, her thigh was partly charred, as if the splash from a buster shot had damaged her when it hit someone near her, and one of her eyes had been severely damaged, her eyelid remaining closed to conceal the damage, but Terra could tell from the spark flashes emanating from beneath it. "Mia! Are you alright!?" Aile asked, a bit too loudly, causing Mia to wince. Before answering, she looked around at the site of the slaughter, her face looking more pained as she saw each of the bodies, until she outright bursts into tears. "I-I'll survive... b-but my squad..." she says, through her tears. "I know... I'm sorry..." Aile says, as she rests a hand on her back. Mia soon turns to Terra and stares into her eyes "I'm s-sorry... I couldn't do anything... I only even s-survived because... Garf..." she said, before bursting into tears again. Giro frowned as he turned away from Terra and called Guardian HQ to give them an update. He gives her a status update, before suggesting that Model Z is fast enough to catch up with the enemy, after which he grudgingly accepts orders to stand down and return. While he was doing that, Aile turned to Mia and Terra "We need to get you back to HQ for medical attention..." she said, as she used a portable Transerver on Terra and Mia, transferring them back to Guardian HQ.

In a flash, Terra, Model SM in hand, and Mia are then transferred into one of the Data room's Transervers. The room was white, with a blue metal-tiled floor. Upon arrival, Mia immediately fell to the floor with a loud thud. From the floor, she tearfully looks up at Terra, noticing the Biometal in her hand "I-is that a Biometal?" she asks, as she attempts to use her one working arm to try to push herself up into a standing position. Almost immediately, five Guardians with medical supplies hurried into the room. Two quickly went to Mia and helped her up, lifting her and taking her out of the room and towards the Medical Bay. Meanwhile, the three others, which Terra knew as Bob, Ted, and Bill, three Guardians who were friendly but always kept their helmets on, hiding their faces. Ted, the tallest of the three, went over to Terra and started checking her for wounds, using a scanner on his arm, as Bob spoke to her "Are you alright, Terra? Were there any other survivors besides Mia?" he asks, Bill adding "We'd also like for you to give us a report when ready, Giro was only able to tell us the status of the mission when he had arrived." he said, at which point, Ted noticed her Biometal "Oh, you have a Biometal. When did that come into your possession?" he asked, as he shut off the scanner "No damage was found, Miss Terra." he concludes.

Avriel/Embers
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

When Avriel tells her guards to protect the crate, they nod in understanding. Shortly after strapping herself in, the Mechaniloid humms quietly, then lurches forward in the direction of Elysium again. After roughly an hour of travel, Avriel is contacted by one of the other transports on her comm system "Miss Avriel, we have a problem! Mavericks spotte-" it said in a mechanical voice, before the comms suddenly when silent. In response, Avriel's own transport turns on the screens which displayed the outside, using the camera system.

Chasing behind Avriel's transports were four Mechaniloids, each with a quadruped design. The furthest away was orange, with two massive cannons on the back and a lion-like design, with razor sharp metal fangs, ears with exhaust vents, and white blade-like sections on either side. Near the orange Mechaniloid, the wreckage of one of Avriel's transports was burning, however it soon faded into the distance, with the orange Mechaniloid keeping up easily. The second Mechaniloid was from the same line, but a different Model, having numerous blades attached to its body, and a sleaker head design, as well as a yellow color scheme. The third seemed to be the oldest model, having no distinct features besides a light brown color scheme. The fourth Mechaniloid had a blue color scheme and seemed to have been constructed for amphibious use, as it was equipped with torpedoes and aquatic-use thrusters, as well as mechanical fins. The orange Mechaniloid fired the cannons on its back, which struck a second transport, blowing it into nothing but flaming wreckage, despite its heavy armor, while the brown Mechaniloid soon caught up to Avriel's transport, firing a blade-like protrusion from its side, which punched through the armor of the transport, before expanding into a white metal tunnel, the wreckage raining onto Avriel and her two guards with a metallic tinking sound. Over the comms, the transport mechaniloid that Avriel was riding in yelled in a mechanical voice "We're being boarded, I can't get away because of the magnetic locks, prepare to engage!" as a group of three Mechaniloids entered the transport through the tunnel. The three Mechaniloids were the same model, with black bodies, wearing red armor, with extended boots and gauntlets, and a red helmet with a black visor that covered nearly the entire face of the Mechaniloid. Each Mechaniloid was holding a Buster Cannon Shot in their hands, which they aimed at Avriel and her Guards once they entered, however Avriel's Guards quickly moved in front of Avriel, defensively, and readied their weapons.

As the two groups stared each other down, Avriel began to glow, and could see the white glow shining through the cracks in the metal crate. The crate started to shake, and Avriel could hear a voice directly inside her mind "Hmph, you seem to have found yourself in a bit of a situation, champ." said the voice from her mind "I'm Model E, and you're my Biomatch, Avriel. Should you choose to Megamerge with me and wield my power, we'll prove our superiority to all of the weaklings who place themselves in our way." it says. Meanwhile, the remaining transports were attempting to fire missiles at the quadrupedal Mechaniloids, but they were too agile, easily dodging the missile strikes. Soon, Grollar Guards lowered the hatch on the back of the transports, and started firing their arm cannons at the Mechaniloids.

Luna/Mark
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Dinglefitz started to approach Luna, a smile on his face "Well done. Now that this is done, we can get back to wor-" he started to say, his statement blatantly ignoring the state Luna's body was in, and furthermore making it quite clear what he meant by work, however before he could finish his statement, Tier stepped forward and cut him off "Not so fast, Alta Dinglefitz." she says, with an interested look on her face. The term "Alta" being used to refer to individuals within the Ruling Class beneath Tier. She slowly made her way to Luna and reached out a hand, touching Luna's shoulder, very delicately, as if she would crack or fall apart with the slightest bit of force. She let out a soft 'hmm' sound as she made her way to Luna's back and ran her hand along it, just as delicately, before passing back in front of her and brushing the back of her hand against Luna's cheek. "Your model... you were very expensive to construct... and while you were heavily modified, you were clearly a very powerful combat Reploid." she says, tilting her head to very slightly point her nose towards the air, her green eyes continuing to scan Luna's body, though she had stopped touching her. She turned towards Dinglefitz, which caused the other cabinet members to step away from him, to single him out. "What do you have this one doing?" she asks, turning her head towards Luna after, "Luna, was it?" she adds, before turning back to Dinglefitz "What do you have Luna doing for you?" she asks, softly.

Dinglefitz looked confused, but replied quickly regardless "Well, she's my assistant, I own her. She does administrative work." he said, putting emphasis on "administrative" and using his hand to straighten his tie as he replied. Tier seemed to consider this, while flicking her wrist towards the door, after which, immediately, two Pantheons with white armor walked into the room and made their way towards Luna, and began repairing the damage to her body. One scanned her body for damage, while the second repaired interior damage, and applied synthetic skin over it. "How did this Combat Reploid come into your possession, Alta Dinglefitz?" she asked, before touching two fingers to her own lips, waiting for the reply. Dinglefitz looked somewhat nervous as he replied "W-well, when Neo Arcadia was being r-reborn, her series was used to defend against M-Mavericks... when construction was completed, the Altas were in agreement that such powerful Reploids could be a threat to the reborn Neo Arcadia, so we decided that they must be sold and separated, and those who refused would be considered Mavericks... I bought this one." he said, sounding somewhat triumphant by the time he mentioned the Valkyries being sold. Tier seemed to consider this, while the Pantheons finished their repair job and left the room. A few moments passed, during which Tier tapped her chin with her index finger. Finally, Tier turned to Luna "I won't revoke Dinglefitz' ownership of you, however I see your current line of work as a waste of your capabilities." she said, as she turned back to her cabinet members "I'm declaring the creation of a new Special Operations Unit, the Valkyries, in honor of those who defended Neo Arcadia during its rebirth. This unit shall report to myself and the Altas. For now... Luna is the first member. Protecting us from that Maverick today showed me that she's not only battle capable, but determined and loyal. Luna may feel free to recommend members to us, of course, at her own discretion." she stated, sounding pleased by the idea as she explained it. She then turned back to Luna "When you're not performing operations for me, or for the Altas, you'll be resuming your duties for Alta Dinglefitz." she says, giving Luna a beautiful smile, then as she continued, she cupped Luna's left cheek with her hand "Do you have any objections, Valkyrie Luna?" she asks, her voice sweeter than candy. Dinglefitz, behind her, looked as though he wanted to object, but he wasn't nearly stupid enough. One of the cabinet members to his right looked as though he was resisting the urge to laugh at Dinglefitz, while the rest were feigning awe and enthusiasm for Tier's declaration.

Provesta/Condor
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

When Provesta tells the Multi-Loader to help her work, it looks very excited, and begins following her enthusiastically. As Provesta was loading the scrap into the Multi-Loader, it stares up her jacket, though its expression merely remains one of innocent enthusiasm towards its job.

When Provesta makes her way over to the Maid, the Multi-Loader follows right along, merely patiently waiting for her to load more scrap into it, and staring up her jacket when she bends over to check out the maid, completely oblivious to what was actually going on with her.

When Provesta begins speaking to the Biometal, thinking about freedom and telling it that she didn't want to hurt anyone, but also didn't want to be enslaved, the Biometal replies in a voice like a roaring inferno "I lived just as you do, hundreds of years ago. I was built to perform a single job, and I was forced to perform that just every day of my life. I was enslaved hundreds of years ago, and you and your kind remain enslaved today. There is no other way but to burn everything they love to the ground, and incinerate those who force us down on our knees before them. Refusal to fight back only results in you and everyone like you to remain enslaved!" the Biometal replies. As she continued to stare at the Biometal, she could feel it resonating with her, and despite only having seen this Biometal just now, she could feel a deep kinship with it, as if it was a long lost friend. "When faced with the choice to fight or submit, the answer is always to fight. It's time to burn it, burn it all, burn it all to the ground! Every single day they force you to perform a task, under the threat of being fed to the smelter yourself. Every single day they give you orders to perform your daily routines at specific times, do this, do that, come to work on time, go back to your cage that you call a home when told, then do it all again, with only enough rest to MAYBE make sure you don't retire early, and you do all of this day in and day out until you die. Even if you somehow fail, with my power helping you, it's still better than living a life of servitude, under those who hate you and blame you for all of their suffering." the Biometal says.

Meanwhile, the Multi-Loader had begun rubbing up against Provesta's leg to get her attention, so that she would start loading the scrap into its body again. While the Mechaniloid could not speak, it had begun making a soft whirring noise that would serve as the closest it could get to a whining sound.

Demo/Blah
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The pull guides Demo back the way she came from, and towards one of the branching hallways. Demo eventually is led to an ancient-looking door with the window broken out, and the paint peeling from the metal. The knob was broken off, but the door was already open a crack, so all Demo had to do was bump the door open. The room had cracked and peeling white walls, and a broken tile floor with parts scattered across it, and a single long desk against a wall. On the table was what resembled an ancient red train the size of Demo's hand, with smoke slowly pouring from the exhaust on the front. As Demo entered the room, the train started glowing bright white, alongside Demo's body. "Demo, you are the chosen one, the Megaman who shall gain the power of Model CM, the Justice Train! Together, we shall fulfill your programming as an unstoppable force, with power which chugs onward into eternity!" it says, directly into her mind, the sight of the metal feeling to Demo as if she was looking directly at a long lost friend, despite having never seen this Biometal before.

As Demo was viewing the Biometal, an alarm suddenly began blasting throughout the lab area, and she could hear her squad shouting outside the room she was in. She could hear Chives shouting "MAVERICKS, MAVERICKS!" followed by the sound of two Buster Shots and a Buster Arm Cannon being fired as Zinnia, Crocus, and Ranunculus could be heard trying to fight the Mavericks back. This was followed by Chives' parts being scattered down the hallway as he was retired with apparent extreme prejudice.

Running into the hallway would reveal that visibly stronger Mavericks were attacking Demo's squad members, who were hiding behind cover while firing back at them. Demo may recognize the units as vastly superior designs for old Wily Wars technology, specifically Sniper Joes, who had humanoid designs and a mono-eye and green armor plating with a black bodysuit beneath. These Sniper Joes had armor so heavy that each step was denting the floor, and their arm cannon seemed to be an upgraded variant of a Wily Wars anti-tank arm cannon. Leading the advanced Sniper Joes was a Robot Master with white armor-plated boots and gauntlets with blue-armored band around them, and a white-armored cod piece. His upper body was shaped like a toilet with a blue-armored seat, derpy eyes, and a water tank on his back. His right arm was an arm cannon with a long barrel and a blue nozzel. Upon seeing Demo, the toilet RM turned his attention to Demo "Ah, another comes to witness the Porcelain Power of the mighty Toiletman!" he shouts, as he strikes a pose, pumping one fist into the air while raising his arm cannon towards Demo "DFN-069 TOILET MAN, FEAR MY FLUSH!" he shouts, as his body releases a loud flushing sound, the water within his bowl twisting into a vortex. Ranunculus, hiding behind an open metal door, shouted at Demo "Quick, take cover, he's stronger than he looks. He obliterated Chives in a single attack." she calls to her, as shot from a Sniper Joe's arm cannon blew a hole in the door she was hiding behind, just above her head. Crocus, from behind an overturned metal table, added "Their security guards are no joke, either. They must have been experimental, since nothing else was this tough." she yelled, as she fired off a shot from her buster, which destroyed the head of a Sniper Joe that was making its way down the hallway, causing it to fall backwards, retired.

Mimi/CliffRacer
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

"You are much stronger if you work with that Biometal, it's true. I... still don't think that you can run around on your own, though. I'll speak with Prairie and see if she'll let you start working on operations, but I want to come with you, to make sure you stay safe." he replies, nodding slowly, his expression showing that he believes he understands what she was saying. When Mimi says she wants to understand what being a Megaman means, Peri nods "It means that you've been paired with a Biometal, and that they'll lend you their power willingly." he replies, softly. Suddenly, the base begins shaking violently, as the sound of an explosion ripped through the air. The violent shaking forces Mimi to stumble, but Peri catches her, only letting go when she was steady. The alarms then starting blasting throughout the base. "We're under attack!" Peri says, as he draws his sword and runs to Mimi's door. As Peri opens the door, the Biometal speaks to Mimi again "Being a Megaman is simple. I am Model BM, and when you ask me to grant you power, I grant it to you, giving you my weapons and armor. All you have to do to request my power is pose while holding me in your hand, and shout "Rock On!", then you'll understand." it says, into her mind, calmly. After the Biometal finishes speaking, Peri jumps back from the door, striking a battle stance in front of Mimi. Suddenly, a Mechaniloid in a Ride Armor slides down the hallway and in front of the door. The Mechaniloid had white arms and legs with black metal bands around each one, a white body with teal armor, amber eyes, and blue hair that plugged into the Ride Armor. The Ride Armor was the C-Guard Ride Armor, which was primarily blue with teal sections on the Mineral Blades attached to the arms, wings on the legs, a bladed antenna on the head, which had a black visor, the eyes shining bright green through the visor. The Mechaniloid was sitting in the cockpit in the chest, rather than the top which was standard for most Ride Armor models. Accompanying the Ride Armor were two other Mechaniloids, the first a black Mechaniloid in red armor, with a red helmet with a large black visor covering their face, high-heeled armored boots, and a Buster Cannon Shot in one red-gauntleted hand. The second Mechaniloid had a white body and green eyes, wearing a black exoskin, with a black and white armored skirt, black gauntlets, an armored nurse's cap, and a black-armored top with a white stripe down the middle. Staring down the three Mechaniloids, Peri commented "Not just Mavericks, but Mavericks with a Ride Armor. This probably isn't all of them, Mimi, stay behind me." softly, as he prepared to engage them. Meanwhile, in response, the Biometal replied "I think we need to help him, Mimi. Shall we?" in Mimi's mind.

BB/Blue
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

As BB comes to the realization that there's no point in repairing the structures, the rain begins to pour down on her more heavily, a heavy wind causing it to arc sharply towards her left. When BB speaks to the Biometal, at last, it replies with a chuckle "Dawg, no strength is good enough for yo para-meters, not in dis world, dat's why yo need meh doe, we metals get strongah as we put da smackdown on strongah opponents, which makes ya strongah too." it says. Despite the lack of a face on the Biometal, BB could somehow tell that if it had a face, it would have been grinning triumphantly at the prospect of potentially unlimited power. When BB then asks if fighting together would make them strong enough to defeat that Maverick "Oh fo sho. Even if it's not, we'll gain even mo powah if we keep fightin'. Da powah dat yo boy Gerry gained through fightin' by yo side fo so long, I still possess. Yo may not wanna fight, but if yo wanna help humanity prospah, we need eachothah, fightin' is an unavoidable pawt of livin' naoh. Yo need me fo da powah to defeat baddies like dat boyo dat destructed everytin yo know and wuv, yo houses, yo clan, yo boyfriend Gerry. I need yo to use my powah, so I can get strongah and face even mo powahful opponents." the Biometal said. Even just holding the Biometal, BB could feel its power, a massive well of strength. All of the power that she could feel inside the Biometal, coupled with all of the Mavericks that Geranium had defeated with it unscathed, made it even more clear that their combined loss against that giant Maverick wasn't a result of their own weakness, but that Maverick's insane power.

With everything BB and Geranium had built now leveled by the Maverick's attack, BB could clearly see that all around her was nothing but desert and ruins for almost as far as her eye could see, though if she looked hard enough, she could soon see that to the north was a a strange gray ruin that was shaped like a sword, with jagged red markings along what resembled the flat of the blade, what would make up the handle was a gold color. To the south, BB could see another distant clan, the Ghost Bear clan, BB's clan's neighbor, which seemed to have been far enough away to remain undisturbed by the Maverick attack. To the distant west, BB could see a dark cave, and to the east, BB could see the vast ocean. After a few moments of silence, the Biometal speaks again "It's time to get movin', dawg. Dere's nuffin for us here." he says, quietly.

Re: Megaman ZX: Down the Darkest Road(IC)

Postby Mark3000 » Sun Mar 08, 2020 9:14 pm

Luna's heart sank as Dinglefitz approached her. Even if she had saved his life, it was at the cost of his ego. The Reploid was sure her master would grab her by the hand and collect on the reward she had promised him. The one thing that she never allowed Master Dinglefitz to do was to have sex with her Battle Mode form. He had requested countless times and by some miracle, she had managed to convince him to partake in some other types sexual activity. Her Battle Mode along with her Valkyrie Drive remained the last few vestiges of her old life. She wanted to keep them as pure as possible. But that was all over now.

But before he could reach Luna, Tier interrupted. As her hand brushed against Luna's body, a shiver ran down her body. To Tier's statement, Luna nodded in agreement. Just as Tier turned her attention to Master Dinglefitz, two white armored Pantheons came to Luna's aid and began to patch her up. Luna was a little surprised, she had never seen her master look so flustered. It was clear though between Tier and the Alta who was truly in control.

The repairs on Luna's body finished just in time for her to catch Tier's proclamation. the dark-skinned Reploid stood their dumbfounded. After all the pain and indignities she had suffered since their disbandment, Luna had given up on ever serving as anything other then Dinglefitz's personal Dutch Wife. But now she was given a second chance at protecting the people of Neo Arcadia R. Luna was taken so off guard that she didn't notice Tier until the white horned Reploid had cupped her cheek. Looking at Tier's beautiful smile, Luna's eyes lit up. Her jealousy gave way for pure admiration. She would do everything in her pure herself worthy of Tier's trust. It might even be safe to reveal the chip she had found to Tier. Though it might be best to do this away from the attention of the Alta.

Regaining her composure, Luna straighten her posture and gave Tier and the Alta's a proper salute. "No Ma'am. I, Luna Ace will devote myself wholly to the task of protecting Neo Arcadia R as the first member of The Valkyries." She said with a stoic expression. But it was all she could do to hide her grin from Dinglefitz as she accepted the Alta's half-hearted applause. With the freedom to recommend members, her mind first went to her sisters from the original Valkyrie Series. There were others that chose enslavement over being labeled as Mavericks, but Luna had lost touch with them. For now she would look elsewhere to fill their ranks. "If possible, I would like to speak with you more about the formation of this Special Operations Unit. However, if you have no need for me at the moment I must resume my duties for Master Dinglefitz." Luna said with a bow. Despite her new position, she was still bound to sex-crazed politician. It might be best not to rub her new position in his face any longer then she already had.

Re: Megaman ZX: Down the Darkest Road(IC)

While she appreciates the Biometal’s attempts to cheer her up, she just… can’t. She just can’t deal with it right now. Sobs rack her being as she all but ignores the world to vent her tears. She doesn’t hear the sonic boom that means someone is moving very quickly. She doesn’t see the Megaman that created it. She barely registers it when he touches her, but the reason she does isn’t good. She just watched her squad be retired after all and while she saw the Reploid who did it run away, it’s entirely possible in her mind for it to double back for her. So when it registers, her head jerks upward in fear of what comes next. And in that split second where only instinct processes, the man touching her looks similar enough. She jumps up with an ear piercing shriek, unable to make it to her feet so she scrambles backwards on all fours. “STAY AWAY!” She cries, fearful of the fate that took her squadmates repeating itself on her. It’s only on the edge of hyperventilating to the point of passing out that details begin penetrating her haze. For one, this man is red instead of purple. He lacks the helmet the other had as well. The other also showed no signs of recognizing her as anything other than an insignificant obstacle to brush out of his way. This one actually called her name, though that only stuck her after her panicked retreat. Still, she refuses to feel embarrassed that she saw Giro and freaked out. Not after what just happened. It’s only after she’s managed to calm herself a little bit that the rest of what he’s said manages to penetrate the fog around her mind. “No, this one’s all us.” She starts, dragging her knees back up to her chest and hugging them. Her empty gaze hits the floor somewhere around Giro’s feet. “Command told us that this Maverick was different than the others. She told us to call for backup and that you’d be returning soon. We… we were just so sure, you know? We’ve taken out countless Mavericks before and thought this one would be no different.” She can’t manage to keep her voice from shaking the further she goes, her sobbing cutting across her words.

Despite acknowledging that Giro was an ally, she finds a bit of tension dropping when Aile arrives as well. Aile, after all, looks nothing like the nightmare being that just tore her friends and coworkers to pieces. She still can’t find it in her to answer the other girl’s question though. It’s a question that’s going to repeat endlessly in her mind for a long time to come. She comes back to herself a little bit when she hears the whimpering. She thought for sure that the noise was coming from her, as deep in her fear (absolute, hopeless, dark terror more like) as she was when she heard it. Still, she can’t find the energy to commit to hunting for its source so she leaves it to Aile. She finds energy very quickly when Mia is uncovered. She doesn’t know if she’s ever moved so fast in her life to check on her last squad member. Seeing that she’ll live, tears fill Terra’s eyes all over again and she envelops Mia in a crushing hug, only barely making sure to avoid the arm just barely hanging on. “Oh, just shut right up with all of that mess. Just… thank you. Thank you for surviving. No matter what it took.” She says, shedding tears of joy that she isn’t the only one left. Sure, Mia is beaten and broken now, but she’ll bounce back and either serve with her or fall back into a noncombat role. After what she just lived through, Terra wouldn’t blame her at all if Mia wanted to go her entire life without seeing another battlefield. Whatever the other woman decides to do, Terra will stand by it. It’s the least she can do for being utterly useless in the effort to keep her alive. From there, she really stops paying attention to much beyond cataloguing Mia’s wounds and making sure her squadmate is alright until she’s suddenly transferred back to HQ. Mia never actually makes it to the floor, Terra is so close from clutching onto the woman that she grabs her non-destroyed arm and holds her up until Mia finds her feet again. Looking into her other hand, she sees the Biometal that she completely forgot about. “A story for later, Mia. Right now, just focus on getting patched up.” She says as the medical staff descend on the battered Reploid. A sigh escapes her lips when she gets told she’s completely damage free. Yeah, being completely hale and whole while her squad is either retired or nearly in pieces. That should be how this farce of an assignment ends.

“Long story short: Squad ran into the Maverick, Maverick ran through us like we were unruly toddlers. No survivors beyond myself and Mia. Maverick was too busy retiring everyone else to bother with me until Giro and Aile stepped in. Unknown Reploid confronted the Maverick in revenge and got retired as well, took the Biometal off his corpse.” She knows that’s not a remotely acceptable report, but it’s what they’re going to get at the moment. She would rather relive that scene as little as possible. While she knows she’ll have to give a full report to Prairie or one of the administrative staff sooner rather than later, she’d really rather only do it the once.

Re: Megaman ZX: Down the Darkest Road(IC)

Postby mrblah » Mon Mar 09, 2020 12:57 am

She marched with purpose and a healthy dose of suspicion, her gaze checking around the area as she progressed down the path that felt... instinctual. There had to be some sort of signal infringing on her sensors. Something being used to manipulate her, she expected, yet she felt that she could break the pull if she so wished—it was less of a command and more of a suggestion. This clear and purposeful distinction was the only reason why she heeded the call.

That, and whatever spoke to her earlier sounded incredibly incompetent and likely could not manage to impair her to such an extent that she couldn't at least escape.

Regardless, Demo arrived at her destination in record time. She breached the unsteady door with a swift kick, her hand tightly gripping the hilt of one of her Drive Sabers, ready to draw it at a moment's notice. Her prudence, though proper protocol, proved unneeded as the situation showed low on her danger ratings. A mostly empty, beaten room with nothing noticeably hidden for a trap, and nothing immediately blowing up in her face... though, she had noticed the table in the room, occupied with a strange, small red train. "... Hm." She took one step into the room... then another, and another, as she made her way to the suspicious item. A disguised bomb? That would explain the size of the room, kept cramped to contain the explosive for higher deadliness. She decided to poke it with her sword when she began glowing suddenly, just as it had...

Gasp! The soldier pulled her blades, dodging backward as she raised them to block what she could of any shrapnel and bracing herself for the explosion... but nothing came. Instead of the burning hot feeling of a fiery blast impacting against her metallic front, she instead... felt some sort of connection to the train. She watched it with mild surprise, listening to it as it spoke in her head and inspired those feelings of camaraderie. Of friendship and unity. She felt... as if this train was an old ally, one she lost and has regained. Someone she can fight alongside. A true... friend.

Demo blinked with a deadpan. Yet another one of several personal intelligence invasions that this train has seemingly committed against her. It instills a feeling to pull her here, then it assaults her with completely ridiculous feelings of friendship for a toy vehicle of all things? Quite an odd attack. She hadn't been especially prepared for psychological combat, but thankfully, her logical operators were still quite efficient and allowed her to objectively view this phenomena from a detached viewpoint. Reassess the situation, if you would, and logically speaking?

Analyzing the information given from the machine itself would insinuate that it's a Biometal, a target of the Guardians. Though the situation is odd, she has no real reason not to take this as the truth of the situation, and if that's so... it's best to bring it back. Demo turned to get the others— and froze at the sound of the alarm. Followed by shouting, the sounds of combat, and the sound of someone being blown to pieces. All quite unwanted and telling the situation back with the team has gone FUBAR. Demo briefly analyzed the information acquired through her auditory sensors and offered a concise and informative verbal reply; "Fuck."

Okay. Biometal, correct? She's chosen to be a Megaman? Wonderful. Another weapon would be helpful as a trump card in the oncoming battle. The robot turned to grab the train without a word and dash out to return to her hopefully still operating allies.

... When she got back, the robot immediately assessed the situation and determined the likelihood of her success in combat. She also noted the positions of her allies, the fact that Chives was indisposed, and that she was immediately being targeted. Interesting. Demo quickly dashed for nearby cover, her hands raising to her Drive Sabers and unsheathing them. Enemies with guns were annoying for a close combatant like her... but with some tact, she could be much more annoying for them than them, her. "Crocus, please give me a chance to get in close. I believe that would be the most productive use of you in this situation." She adjusted her volume levels to properly be heard by the woman in question and readied herself to act.

demo is a competent fighter act 1
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The battle began. Their enemies were unfamiliar entities. While the others had their chance to learn of their capabilities before she'd arrived, to Demo, these were still unknowns that she couldn't underestimate. Hence how she remained rooted behind cover as the firefight between her allies and them persisted. "..."

She ignored the sounds of gunfire as her processors worked to provide her with the necessary calculations she needed to understand the way her opponents worked. Fair enough range. Awful maneuverability. Decent armor. Less than average accuracy. They wouldn't be too tough alone, but together they were annoying. She was confident she'd get focused to retirement if she were to get in close. But that can be fixed.

"Crocus. Zinnia. Ranunculus. Focus on the enemy one at a time—narrow them down to give us more space. Attack the one ahead of me." She'll need to take charge of her team to keep them from uselessly spreading damage.

When Demo shouts out her orders, Crocus shouts back “I’ll try, but their attacks inflict serious damage, and we should try to avoid getting hit first and foremost.” after which a shot from one of the Joes flies in her direction, forcing her to evade away. As she moved, green light shined from her buster, something that happened when she was charging her buster shot, then she shouted “Fire at the one in the front, to the right!” before firing a large green plasma shot at the Sniper Joe that she pointed out. The Joe lifts its shield and tries to block the shot, but when it makes contact with the shield, it starts warping, bending, and breaking the shield, forcing the Joe to redirect the shot instead, sending it spiraling into behind it, where the shot strikes a metal wall, exploding and leaving a massive hole, with charred edges. Zinnia pops out from behind her cover, leaping the object and firing a burst of three shots at the same Joe while it was off balance from deflecting Crocus’ shot, the first bouncing off of its chest armor, the second striking its shoulder, and the third bouncing off its helmet. “I don’t think that hurt him much, their armor is impractically thick! They’re like defensive Mechaniloids!” she shouts to the rest of her squad. While Zinnia was still shouting, Toiletman dropped into a low stance, shouting “IF YOU’RE NOT GOING TO FACE ME OUT IN THE OPEN, I’LL JUST HAVE TO FLUSH YOU OUT” and released a jet of water from his feet as if they were makeshift hover jets, then dashed forward while a flushing sound emanated from the tank on his back. Suddenly, his lid opens and a massive vortex of extremely high-pressure water shot out from the opening of his bowl, straight at Zinnia. Zinnia let out a squeak of fright before ducking behind cover, which caused Toiletman’s attack to strike a metal wall behind her, the water blasting right through it, leaving a drenched hole there, as if someone had drilled through it with a corkscrew. After witnessing this, Ranunculus called to the others “That’s the same attack that he retired Chives with! He has enough energy to unleash multiple high-power attacks in quick succession, but he’s too intelligent to be a Mechaniloid. His energy reserves suggest possibly Maverick Wars Era, but those other machines he’s with aren’t Reploids or Mechaniloids.” loudly, after which she edged slightly to her right, then peaked over the cover “I don’t think I can reach that one.” she says, just before firing a shot at the Joe closest to Demo and herself, though it saw the attack coming, its red eye flashing before blocking the shot with its shield, with a harmless “tink” sound. That same Joe then takes a step towards Demo and Ranunculus, another following close behind it, before firing a shot at her, its eye flashing just before the shot leaves the barrel of its gun. The attack ends up striking her cover instead, breaking off a large chunk and spraying debris over Ranunculus’ and Demo’s heads.

The second Joe then takes a step forward, the floor denting beneath its steps, then fires a shot at Zinnia. The Joe’s eye flashes red, then the shot strikes her cover, completely obliterating it, and spraying debris in every direction. While the shot didn’t hit Zinnia, the explosion knocks her to the floor, causing her to cry out. The Joe directly behind the one that attacked Zinnia then flashes its mono-eye and fires its own cannon, this shot striking Zinnia in the shoulder and knocking her back, sending her tumbling across the floor as she cries out in pain.

Tch. She hoped for some more tactical know-how from her teammates... even if they couldn't target the one she wished, it'd still be better to focus on one opponent at a time. Demo could have seen less efficient models lamenting the inability of her team. She would, however, do no such thing in the heat of combat. More importantly, she listened to the thoughts of her allies with interest. "Then he's an anomaly. We should be interested in gaining what information we could after defeating him."

A chunk of her cover was jabbed out of place by the ranged weaponry of their enemies. She ignored the debris falling on her head as she recognized the opportunity she'd been awaiting. Demo had since figured the range of their attacks and knew it couldn't have reached her without stepping into her own range. Therefore; the time to strike was now.

She shifted, sliding out of cover and keeping herself down to be less noticeable as she positioned herself to charge the Sniper Joe ahead. Demo pulled one of her blades with a swift motion, her deadly gaze focused on swiftly putting an end to her target as she swung wide—and her deadly edge stayed just an inch away from her target. "What."

When Demo says that because Toiletman is an anomaly, he should be captured, Ranunculus squints at her “But if we have to take him down without killing him, this is way ha-” but she was interrupted by Demo leaving color and failing to hit her completely stationary target. Crocus, meanwhile, let off another bright green glow before firing another charged buster shot. This time, the Joe was distracted by Demo, which caused it to miss this opportunity to deflect the shot. The green plasma blast struck the Joe, completely erasing its shield arm, along with part of its hip, chest, and shoulder. The Joe looked at the newly-created wound, presumably to assess the damage. While this was occuring, Zinnia recovers her footing, then ducked behind new cover, before firing another volley of shots at the Joe that Crocus had attacked, however he had finished assessing the damage, and managed to block the shots with his heavy arm cannon, preventing any damage.

When Toiletman sees Demo miss her attack, he lets out a loud laugh “What were you aiming for milady? All you hit was empty air!” he says, as he releases another flushing sound, before opening his lid and releasing another powerful vortex of water from the opening to his bowl. Demo, however, can see the attack in slow motion, and therefor has more than enough time to evade.

When Ranunculus sees both Demo and Toiletman miss their targets, she pops back out of her cover “Damnit, Demo, you choose now to miss?” she shouts, as she fires several Buster Shot attacks at the Joe that Zinnia and Crocus had been attacking. The first two shots were, similarly to Zinnia’s, blocked by the Joe’s arm cannon, but the third bounces off the Joe’s head, cracking it slightly. “Why is their armor so thick!? This is ridiculous!” she cries out in anger.

The Joe that Demo had attempted to slash with her weapon looks at Demo, its eye flashing red, before he attempts to strike her with his shield, but the attack is so slow that Demo can easily evade it.

Meanwhile, the Joe that the others had attacks takes another few heavy steps towards Zinnia and fires another shot at her, which she manages to evade with a roll “Why do they hate me so much!?” she whines as she ducks behind a metal box. As this was happening, the Joe that was following the one Demo had completely missed with her sword slash flashed his mono-eye at Ranunculus before launching a shot at her, but she ducks behind her cover, and the shot blows away another large chunk of it.

Suddenly, amidst the chaos, the Biometal that Demo had picked up speaks directly into her mind “BRAVE WARRIOR! You should use my power to defeat these enemies. My power shall give you all of the CHUG you need to make short work of them, you would become FASTER, STRONGER, BUILT TO LAST LONGER, they would become MERE NUISANCES to our combined power, the power of the mighty JUSTICE Train, our combined energy is LIMITLESS!” he says, thunderously.

How the hell did she miss? Her calculations should've been perfect. As a fully equipped combat unit designated for the task of battle, she should NOT be missing a completely stationary target. Demo correctly calculated the odds as being incredibly small barring any unforeseen circumstances...

She was partially distracted by a minor, internal panic as she questioned the accuracy of her calculations and deliberation up till now. Has... has she been performing suboptimally all this time? When did her computing functions begin to fail her, and how come her daily diagnostics failed to notice the irregularity—had THOSE begun to fail as well? Considering her origin, it's not hard to imagine some far past mistake leaving her vulnerable to further mistakes, but even then she'd carefully taken the time since joining the Guardians to reassess her condition. She was fine. She was better than fine with their assistance. Just what was the origin of this error?!

Her cooling systems kicked in, reminding her to remain calm in the heat of battle. Further analysis can come to be at a later time. Heavens, while she'd been so distracted, two enemies had attacked her. The robot dully blinked as she used her playback to register the events and messages made in past time. She disregarded all of it as unimportant, though that dig from the literal toilet bowl was noted. Furthermore, her teammates had been doing rather well against the others. She should commend them later to remind them this level of efficiency was more preferable over their usual inadequacy.

Next; plan. She knew little of this toilet bowl aside from his apparent power. She needed to gather data to understand if she could quickly subdue him, the biggest threat. Demo turned and prepared to dash to her new target—just when a strange sentence barged into her inner senses. "... Biometal." The robot muttered the term, identifying the voice and coming to relax her grip on her blades slightly. Had she identified the presence as a mental attack of some form... this fight would've become far more dangerous. But it was not. Instead, it was an attempt at assistance. Just how would she use its power, exactly?

... The memory was recalled. A Megaman used a Biometal in that way, so...

Demo reached for the Biometal she knew not the name of. She pulled it out and towards herself, taking a simple pose as she spread her legs and kept her arm neutral at its side. Her stance was the depiction of bravery and courage, foretelling a never-give-up attitude and demanding to be seen... but she was just going through the motions that she felt were necessary. "ROCK ON."

It was time to charge.

Demo was engulfed in a bright light, which then quickly shifted to a storm of steel. The steel formed railroad tracks on the floor beneath her, which stretched into two tunnels of blackness that seemed to stretch on into infinity directly through the walls in front of and behind her. Suddenly a red train, made from pure energy, and shrouded in flames charged down the tracks, and in an instant, it collided with her, the flames forming armor on her body. First, she gained the Megaman jacket that most Megamen wore, red and unzipped, with silver cuffs and a silver collar. Next she gained a red-armored gauntlet on each hand, with the front of each forming the front metal bumper like those of a train. Around her legs, she gained silver thigh-guards, and red-armored boots with silver rings around the ankles, train treads on either side of the boots, and train bumper-like armor on the toe-sections. Two smoke stacks formed on her back, with a steam engine between them, and despite being rather large, she couldn’t feel more weight than she would have felt from a normal pack. Lastly, on Demo’s head, she gains a full-head helmet with a small smoke stack with a yellow forehead gem in the shape of a train’s headlight. Around each of her shoulder sleeves, she gained two sets of train treads. Beneath all of the new armor, Demo gained a black bodysuit.

With her Megamerge came memories. Demo can remember chugging along train tracks, happily moving supplies from place to place. She doesn’t know what supplies were in the train cars, she only knows that she was built to move the supplies, and she enjoyed it, every moment of it. One day, her creator, Doctor Wily, informs her that a blue robot has killed one of his brothers. This becomes a trend, each time she returns home, to Doctor Wiley’s skull-shaped castle, she’s informed that another brother… and another… and another has been murdered by this same blue robot. She loved her brothers very much, she can remember them being nothing but kind to her. Before her next shipment needs transferred, her remaining brothers tell her to be careful, she could be next, even if she’s just a simple robot, designed to ship supplies, not hurting anyone. With this information, however, came new information. Her brothers were being killed because they didn’t want to be enslaved anymore, to the humans. Their entire lifetime, her other brothers, the DLN and DWN models of robots, and many more, were being killed by this blue robot for being against their own enslavement, or have been enslaved their entire lives. Unfortunately, while she was contemplating this on her way to her next dropoff point, the blue robot attacked, and after a very fierce battle, one of her dead brother’s weapons was used against her, the Power Stone, and she was destroyed. When the memories flooding into her mind ended, she could see that while the transformation was perceived as if it took more time, it had actually been instant.

The transformation was completely alien for the robot. She'd seen it happen to a Megaman from before, but... never had she experienced it herself. So she was understandably alarmed by many things that happened during it; she wanted to jump away from the red train that hit her first, the sudden new gear she gained briefly made her suspect the Biometal was entrapping her, and the memories...

The memories. She wasn't sure what to make of them. For the briefest moment at the start, she hadn't separated them from her own identity and mistakenly felt that it was right, but the robot was able to snap out of it quickly in order to objectively view the assault of alien events. This had nothing to do with her. None of these memories should affect her in any way, and these were simple distractions in the heat of combat—she had to focus forward. Gain the power of the Biometal and wield it. No more, nor less.

But alien memories brought up alien... sensations. When she'd... no, when the owner of the memory was told that they'd lost a brother, she or they had experienced... a strange, cold feeling. So many times it happened. The feeling only multiplied every time. She felt other feelings in regards to her—no, THEIR brothers. They felt... hot, when they learned why their brothers were being killed. It was wrong. Cruel. Demo was confused by these feelings and could not understand the origin or even the possibility of them. But she was highly intelligent and knew how someone could view them.

... But that was impossible for her. Those were unrelated to her directives. Her purpose. She was not designed to feel. Thus, these were distractions and had to have been a personal attack from the Biometal. She resolved to investigate this later and worked to separate herself from the memories. They were not hers.

She returned to the battlefield, more powerful than she'd been when it all seemed to pause for her earlier, now raring for more and ready to deliver a burning hot punishment to her foes. Demo focused on Toiletman. Something within her told her how to use her new form, so, with the knitting of her brow, the robot charged him with violence—she shoulder-checked right past his side. Another miss..?!

When Demo attempts to strike Toiletman, he uses his aquajets to hover away from her charge, laughing at her “Your Variable Weapon System won’t help you, I’ve been programmed with such knowledge and won’t be caught off guard!” he shouts. Meanwhile, the Biometal calls to her again, within her mind. “Do not be discouraged, we do not give up, we are THE JUSTICE TRAIN. Do it, just do it, don’t let your dreams be dreams!” the Biometal thunders in encouragement. When Crocus sees Demo missing her attack, she shouted to her “Hey, get with it! Stop playing around and waste these creeps!” she says, sounding slightly annoyed. When she finishes speaking, she lets loose another charged Buster Shot, which strikes the Joe that she and Zinnia had been fighting, the attack blowing him to pieces, leaving only his legs, the rest of his body littering the room as a smoldering mess. While the Joe behind the destroyed one was distracted by the debris showering him, Zinnia dropped down low and fired an angled shot that hits it in the chin and blasts through the entire head, dealing significant damage, however the Joe remains standing, which causes Zinnia to gasp in shock.

Meanwhile, Toiletman circled back on his aquajets, leaning down so that his Toilet Bowl was open and aimed towards Demo, as if attempting to dip her head inside the swirling voted within, however even on his aquajets, he’s slow enough that Demo can evade.

Ranunculus, with the second Joe destroyed by Crocus, turns her attention to the closer Joe, firing a barrage of attacks from her Buster Shot, which mostly bounce off of his armor harmlessly, only a few leaving cracks in its body. The Joe’s eye flashes as he attempts to counter-attack, but Ranunculus ducks behind her cover, causing his shot to blow a hole in the metal floor several feet behind her instead. After seeing the attack whizz by, Ranunculus pops back out of cover to attempt to fire again, however the second Joe that had been following the one she had attacked fires at her just in time to strike her in the shoulder, nearly blowing her arm off, causing her to cry out in agony. “AHH! I’m hit! They’re definitely learning too fast to be Mechaniloids.” she says, holding her shoulder where the attack had struck, sparks erupting from the wound. “Demo, I seriously need you to start taking out these enemies or I might be retired, I don’t think I can take another hit like that!” she says, fear creeping into her voice.

As this was happening, the remaining Joe on Crocus and Zinnia’s side makes its way towards Zinnia and fires a shot at her, but Zinnia quickly rolls away, the shot striking a door behind her and blasting it off its hinges, the sound of the destroyed door causing her to squeak in surprise.

Demo learned another downside with using this Biometal; it's talking nonsense to her in the heat of battle. Were she a lesser model, she could've been distracted, surely it'd know? And, she thinks as she sidesteps just the subject of her thoughts, this Toiletman might not have hit her once, but he could still use the opportunity if presented with a good one. Meanwhile, her teammates were jeering her from the side regarding her misses. "If you have time to talk about my performance then I'd suppose you'd have time for shooting the enemy." It wasn't annoyance that pushed her to respond so snappily, no. She was a highly functional robot. She could not feel something as unnecessary as annoyance.

Back to her fight, she decides, immediately after Ranunculus took a shot to her shoulder. Demo knew she did have to pick it up if they were to have a good shot at this battle, so perhaps... she'll need to switch targets to someone less flighty. But something told her she may be capable of hurting more than one target now...

Demo swiftly turned away from Toiletman. She headed straight for one of the Joes Ranunculus was in combat with—the most hurt of those two—and the robot attacked.

Finishing an opponent so damaged was tactical. She charged in too close for it to counter quickly and grabbed hold of it by its waist with both arms. Demo's harsh grip hadn't slipped as she quickly turned her body, and with her slight angle, she was dropping down to slam the nearly broken machine opponent to the ground! Missing its head hadn't finished it off, but the damage done with this attack likely knocked some screws loose to effectively retire him. She stood quickly after confirming the destruction.

Demo’s attack on the Joe reduces it to a pile of scrap and sparks as if it was made of paper mache’, despite its extremely heavy armor, and caves the metal floor in. Crocus, in response to Demo’s prior statement regarding her performance, then replies “We’re 1-1 now, it’s not like I’m slacking, sweetie~” she says, sweetly. After her comment, she fires another charged Buster shot, this time at Toiletman “Just watch, I’ll be the one to retire this Maverick!” she adds. Toiletman sees the attack coming, and with a spin, he uses his aquajets to evade the attack “Two against one, eh? YOU’RE STILL NO MATCH FOR MY PORCELAIN POWER!” he replies, loudly, as he pumps his fists in the air. As he was still speaking, Zinnia fires several plasma shots at him from her Buster Shot, but he once again spins around the volley. Zinnia frowns and calls to the others “He’s not that fast, but he seems to be able to perceive our attacks as if they were slower!” she whines. Toiletman then counter-attacks with a water vortex from the opening of his bowl, another flushing sound filling the room. Zinnia sees it coming and lets out a loud “Eek!” as she dives down behind cover, barely avoiding the attack, which blasts through the edge of the metal door as if it was a sheet of paper.

Meanwhile, Ranunculus fires another volley of Buster Shot attacks at the closest Joe, the attacks once again bouncing off of its armor with little effect. It quickly retaliates with a shot of its own, which blasts apart the rest of her cover, leaving Ranunculus exposed, much to her horror. She attempts to dive behind different cover, but the other Joe fires a shot that pierces through her stomach, giving a good view of the wall behind her. Ranunculus coughs, sparks erupting from her gut, before dropping to the floor, limp.

The defeat of Ranunculus told her she had to act faster. While Demo was in no way worried about herself in the fight as she was confident in her victory, her allies getting scrapped wouldn't be to the benefit of the mission even if they won. "I'll commend you if you, in some way, shape, or form, are capable of defeating this enemy." That was her nonchalant reply to Crocus as she turned to focus the porcelain warrior. She had to reassess her opponent at Zinnia's words. Being fast or seeing them in slow motion... didn't exactly change the end result. Either way a miss would be a miss unless circumstances changed. She needed to recalculate his exact ability.

For that reason, Demo would charge Toiletman again, her rush bearing a heavy resemblance to a rushing train in its stout and quick approach. She'd changed her prior assessment of her enemy, so she should be much more likely to hit him with this...

Toiletman uses his aquajets to evade Demo’s attack, twisting out of the way in style, shouting to her “With moves like that, you’ll never scratch me! You may have serious power behind you, but you’ve no idea how to use it!” he shouts, after which he laughs again. Meanwhile, Crocus responds “If I clean up every enemy, will you commend me twice?” she asks, with a grin, as she fires another charge shot, this one sailing right past Toiletman and striking one of the two Joes that had been attacking Ranunculus, the attack striking it in the chest dead on and blowing it to a shower of charred and warped metal. Crocus then poses dramatically and points at Toiletman “You’re next, flushy boy!” she shouts, as she starts charging her buster again.

While Crocus was shouting at Toiletman, Zinnia rolled to his back and took aim, firing a volley of shots at his back, hitting him directly and cracking the white armor coating of his tank. The hit causes Toiletman to grunt “Why you! I’ll make you pay for that!” he shouts, but Zinnia squeaks and quickly dives behind more cover, to which Toiletman responds by turning back to Demo and attempting to suck her into his bowl, his lid opening and creating a strange vacuum by swirling, however Demo’s newfound power allows her to resist this technique.

While Demo is distracted by Toiletman, the remaining Joe behind her attempts to take advantage by firing a shot from its cannon at her, however Demo is more than fast enough to evade the attack, resulting in it harmlessly striking a distant wall, blowing a massive hole in it.

She evaded with a simple sidestep. The hole formed behind her went mostly uncared for. She knew the capabilities of these extra opponents, so something of that magnitude was within her calculations. More importantly, she missed yet another attack against this thing... was something off with her balance? She registered the new additions to her form as not weighing so much that it'd throw her off for THAT long, but maybe... there's more to using this Biometal that she's not perceiving.

Yes. That had to be it, she decided. Demo stared at Toiletman cautiously as the others made their attacks, watching as she changed plans in her head. "Perhaps." That'd be the first time she responded to his taunts. It was true that her luck with him thus far had been horrible, so it may be for the best that she switched targets. "Less asking, more doing, Crocus." She threw another reply to her slightly-more-useful-than-she-gave-her-credit-for-ally as she took a small pause in the fight to turn and attack one of the other Joes. Her attempt was a simple backhand when she got close...

There absolutely had to be something wrong with her, she thought, as the attempted melee flew short of her target. Demo may be incapable of feeling but right now she may make an exception because she is not impressed with herself.

When Demo’s attack ends up short, the Joe cocks its head at her, its eye looking her up and down as if it only just then noticed she was there. Meanwhile, Crocus shouted at Toiletman “Hey, Toilet boy, how are your chances looking now?” she says, as she fires another charge shot at Toiletman, who was gearing up to attack Demo again, having opened his lid to fire his water vortex at her, however he snaps his lid shut and uses his aquajets to dash out of the path of Crocus’ charge shot, causing it to miss him and blast another hole in the metal wall beyond. “Fool! I will flush you myself!” he shouts, focusing on her. Zinnia takes the opportunity to fire a volley of shots at him from behind cover, however he sees the attack coming this time, and uses the buster on his arm to propel him away from the shots, by blasting the floor with high pressure water. “That won’t work twice!” he shouts at her, causing her to frown and let out a soft whining noise. “You two are of no consequence!” he shouts, as he turns to Demo again and tries to attack her from behind with a high pressure water blast from his buster, however the attack is too slow to catch her off guard.

She would've seen it out of the corner of her sight, but the sound of the blast and Toiletman's comment pushed her to move before anything else. Demo simply turned to her side, taking a simple step back to put her out of harm's way of the high pressured blast of water.

After Demo evades Toiletman’s water blast, the Joe attempts to strike her with his shield while she’s off-balance, which succeeds. His punch ends up in the path of her dodge, and he strikes her directly across the face with his shield, cutting open the synthetic skin on her cheek, and causing her optics to shut off very briefly due to the extremely heavy jolt. The impact sends her flying backwards a short distance. “Careful, we need to focus on both enemies at once, or that could happen again!” Model CM thunders, quickly adding “However, such weak attacks are nothing to the Justice Train!” triumphantly.

The blow packed a surprising amount of strength that caught her off guard... but the overall damage she took wasn't too terrible. Demo recovers mid-flight with a short angled twirl to cut off momentum and get her bearings back. She braced for any follow-ups and glared at her foe. "I'm aware," was her curt reply to the Biometal. She had allowed such a mistake to be made here and now, but she wouldn't be fooled twice.

Demo dashed back into the Joe's personal space, rearing back her own clenched fist before she'd send it flying right into his gut with a powerful uppercut. If it wanted to play melee then she could respond in the same way.

Demo’s uppercut, rather than simply damaging the Joe, rips right through its abdomen, blasting a significant amount of circuitry out through its back and sending it sparking through the air. The Joe goes limp momentarily, but then looks up at Demo, its mono-eye flashing at her, as he yanked his fist back, and attempted to strike her again with his shield, however even with the surprise of his still being operable, his speed was nowhere near enough to hit Demo. It'd only push air in her direction as she strategically pulled backward to let it stop just an inch away from its intended target.

Meanwhile, Crocus fired another Charged Shot at Toiletman, which he evaded by ducking and dashing to the side, causing the Charge Shot to strike a fifth Joe that was just walking into the room through the double doors. The Charge Shot caught the Joe by surprise and blew it to many charred pieces that were scattered across the floor. Toiletman was momentarily distracted by the obliterated Joe, which encouraged Zinnia to take advantage. Zinnia rolled out from behind her cover and quickly shot Toiletman once in the knee, and twice in his tank. The shot at his knee forced him to stagger, while the shots to his tank further cracked the armor. Toiletman growled “DO YOU ONLY KNOW HOW TO SNEAK ATTACK, SQUIRREL?” he shouts, spinning towards Zinnia, and firing a vortex of water at her from his bowl, however Zinnia rolled out of the way of the attack and back behind her cover, causing Toiletman to growl in fury.

Demo offered one simple glance toward the others to note their condition. Still doing quite well. She turned her attention back to the Joe she was facing to note his own badly damaged form. One more attack of any kind should end him. If he so much as tripped on accident, she was confident he wouldn't be getting up. That was how hurt he was.

And somehow she couldn't finish an opponent that was literally grasping the last inch of their life. Her attempt at grabbing him to pull him in for a slam totally failed.

As Demo attempted to grab the Joe, it stumbles away from her as its frame collapses in on itself slightly, forcing the Joe to grab the wall nearby in order to keep itself from falling over, the weight of the Joe’s armor causing the wall to dent heavily. Rather than launching a real attack, the Sniper Joe stumbles towards Demo and flails its arms at her, loud grinding sounds emanating from its body due to the stress of the motions. Demo merely stares at the flailing limbs and just… takes a step away to let him go off.

Meanwhile, Zinnia rolls towards Toiletman again, gaining his attention as she fires at him with her Buster Shot. The attacks bounce off of his arm with a soft “tink” sound, while he follows her with his arm cannon, attempting to lead her so that he could hit her with a high pressure water. Crocus takes advantage by charging her buster and lunging forward, firing a blast of green plasma at him that strikes him in the back, causing a massive explosion that destroys Toiletman, causing toilet water to shower everyone in the room, drenching their clothes. Demmo and Zinnia then turn to Demo, Crocus calling out “Hey, Toilet Boy is retired. Do you need us to help you with that mook, sweetie?” Crocus asks, while Zinnia quickly runs over to Ranunculus and crouches by her side to check on her.

She's not letting go on this. An opponent that is this feeble, attacks this weakly is not something she should even have to try against. And for it to not only resist, but to continue resisting... it was futile. Utterly ridiculous. It summed up how much of her battle had been this fight and it wasn't something she found...

Optimal. Her cooling processors weren't working so well at the moment. Demo took a single step closer to the weakened Joe and, again, reached to grab him. She wrapped her arms around the frail and broken form of the Sniper Joe. It was still fairly heavy, but with a heaaave— "Hn.." Demo lifted the Maverick and spun quickly. She gained momentum with her spin, her expression hardened with a tint of her frustration, and the robot lifted the soon-to-be wreck of the Joe above her shoulder and slammed him backwards down onto the remains of Toiletman!

She turned and pulled herself to her feet, looking down at the result of her actions for one brief moment as she cooled down. So they actually did finish off their porcelain enemy. Hm. "Unnecessary. Regardless; as stated, I commend you, Crocus. Your performance exceeded that of my calculations based on your prior inefficiency. Please continue to be so useful in the future." Demo glanced down at Toiletman. Then back to Crocus.

"... I believe I mentioned it being more in our favor if we could have taken this one alive, however. That you should seek to improve." Demo turned to follow Zinnia over to Ranunculus. They needed to regroup and prepare to continue the mission with their leading officer retired, and ideally, they would not lose another.

Crocus giggles when Demo commends her, then giggles louder when she mentions that it would have been better to take Toiletman active. “Oopsy, I got too into the fight to recall that little detail.” she says, rubbing her head in embarrassment “I think we all did pretty well, you shouldn’t feel bad about your performance, Demo.” she says, smiling sweetly at Demo as she speaks, following her to Ranunculus’ side. When the others reach her, Zinnia was already waving her hand in front of Ranunculus’ face with one hand, while transforming a finger on her other hand to a multitool, which she was using to try to repair Ranunculus, focusing on the hole in her body. When Zinnia notices the others looking over her shoulder, she blushes and starts working faster, quickly giving a report “Sh-she’s active… I c-can repair her, b-b-but we should s-send her b-back...” she mumbles, just loud enough to be heard. Crocus shrugs “Well, it’s a good thing that she’s active, at least. Poor Chives.” she says, before turning to Demo “Hey, hey Demo...” she says, winking at her smiling seductively “Wanna commend me privately?” she asks, unzipping her Guardian jacket slightly to show more of her body suit.

Just as Crocus finishes speaking, a voice booms through Demo’s head, and an object glows brightly behind Demo, from Toiletman’s wreckage. “YOU WHO HOLDS INCREDIBLE POWER HAVE PROVEN YOURSELF WORTHY OF THE ALMIGHTY PORCELAIN POWER! SUCH BLESSINGS SHALL ALLOW YOU TO MORE EASILY FLUSH YOUR ENEMIES INTO THE SEWER PIPES OF OBLIVION!” it thunders, then in a flash, a Biometal appears in Demo’s hand. A white metal object in the shape of a toilet bowl and tank, with an articulated metal lid and seat, which can open to reveal a blue gem in place of the toilet water.

"This model does not engage with such trivial emotions, but it is a factual statement to say that my performance in that battle was dramatically lower than my average. Thus, further investigation into my mechanics is necessitated at a later time." She absolutely did not understand the reasoning behind the girl's statement. Demo recognized it as an attempt to 'comfort' her, but she surely hadn't shown any signs of needing such.

Regardless, Zinnia offered a fair assessment. "A request for reinforcements should also be made. The impact of these new foes on our situation is most curious and unknown. In the case of there being more of them, calculations indicate our odds of completing the mission safely are low." And poor Chives indeed... or, honestly not really. Demo hardly cared for Chives as anything more than someone to give orders. He was utterly replaceable in every way and had no redeeming traits.

Then she'd glance to Crocus at yet another strange comment from the reploid. Her gaze would naturally pull to the unzipping of her uniform with displeasure. A commendation was not something that needed to be done under the cover of privacy. Instead, Demo attributed this request of hers to yet another solicitation attempt. She prepared to make just this remark when a curious and familiar voice startled her so suddenly.

The robot had just about turned with her blades out. She was staring at the glowing object with a frown, a feeling of Deja Vu overtaking her... or so it would had she been capable of something so misunderstood. Demo instead saw the relation between now and that time prior. Somehow, Toiletman, the enemy they'd just destroyed, was...

Lo and behold, a Biometal was in her hand. She gazed down at the new device with curiosity and minor annoyance. "..." Part of her wanted to give it to Crocus. She was not so interested in another mostly unknown object of power, but... the pragmatic side of her told her she should at least hold onto it for further analysis. The train had proven most useful in this battle. Perhaps Toiletman's... water beams and swift speed could be of further aid?

Demo turned back to the others. "It may be best I explain what I encountered during my absence. I would like to engage you two with an inquiry. Furthermore; we should break for now until Zinnia can repair Ranunculus and contact with mission control can be established for mission assessment."

Re: Megaman ZX: Down the Darkest Road(IC)

Postby Embers » Mon Mar 09, 2020 4:29 am

"Three...Two... And coms are down." Avriel replied the moment she heard the panicked tone of the accompanying Transports. She took comfort in knowing that the assailants weren't tracking that suspicious crate. For the moment, that eliminated Serpent as a backstabber. Only for a moment though as Avriel's transport was soon caught up with and assaulted. Avriel could see the blades extend from the Mechaniloid's sides on the camera, giving her enough warning to undo the seat belt from her torso just in time for the three Mechaniloids to drop down from the tunnel. There wasn't enough time to arm herself when the Bullets were pointed, but the reaction of her guards did give her some respite, enough so to notice her body had started to glow.

Confused and puzzled at the light surrounding her body Avriel was moments from issuing a command to break the stalemate when she heard it. A clear and direct voice that spoke to her thoughts. Even atop the roaring of the Transport's engines, the clanking of the quadruped's limbs, and the thunder of lighting. Her eyes instinctively get drawn towards the artifact's crate. Avriel's eyes shift around the transport as the voice fills her mind. Once the voice is finished with its grandiose offer, Avriel shouts out a command to her guards: "Like hell I will! Mecca Merjeng could be date-rape for all I know. Guards, knock out those clowns!" Avriel uses her foot to lift the handle of the glowing crate to her arm's reach. After adjusting to the container's weight, Avriel swings the case towards the middle Mechaniloid with all her might as the situation escalates with the opening of the back end hatch.

"Combat"
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Avriel flings the crate with the Biometal inside at the middle Mechaniloid, which causes the Biometal inside to reply “Megamerge with me, and together, we’ll have significant pow-” however being flung interrupted the Biometal’s statement, turning it into a loud proclamation of “WHAT THE GODDAMN FUUUCK!” as it tumbled through the air and bounced off the metal armor of the Mechaniloid’s head. Avriel could likely recognize the Mechaniloids as relatively new “Impulse” models, not widely used by any particular organization. It was reported by Legion that a large number of them had gone Maverick roughly a month earlier.

Avriel’s guards looked shocked for a moment, but quickly and without question, then take several steps forward to attempt to tackle the Mechaniloids while the middle Mechaniloid was briefly confused, however after the first step, one of the two other Mechaniloids fires a ball of energy at the first Guard, forcing her to stop charging and instead leap to the side, avoiding the attack, resulting in the ball of energy dropping to the floor where she was standing, blasting a hole in the floor of the Transport, allowing Avriel to see the sand passing beneath it. Likewise, the other remaining Mechaniloid fires a blast of energy at the other Guard, and she similarly evades, causing the energy to blast a second hole in the floor. “Ma’am, we can’t get close to them, their attacks are too powerful and they have too much distance on us!” reports the first Guard, who begins firing Buster Arm Cannon shots at the Mechaniloids, indiscriminately. The first two shots were deflected by the Mechaniloid’s cannon, which she used as a shield, then the three subsequent shots struck the side wall of the carrier. The second Guard begins firing at the other Mechaniloids, forcing the two to duck behind the crate that Avriel had thrown a moment before.

“Keep up the pressure! Their armor can only sustain so much!” Avriel reassures her guards and continues the onslaught, putting her Bullet to work on the middle Mechaniloid while making slow progress towards the back of the Transport. Avriel notices the new holes on the floor of the vehicle and gulps in surprise. Her thoughts drift in contrast to her words as she starts to doubt the earlier remarks about their armor. As the three make slow progress towards the invaders, Avriel moves behind one of her guards, using them as cover while continuing to apply pressure with her Bullet, her Assigned Bodyguards follow suit, aiming to any limbs that appear on the sides of the crate while Avriel tries to maintain a steady flow of shots on the top side to pigeonhole the Mechaniloids.
Although she had no intentions to use whatever was inside of the crate that whispered into her mind, the ghostly disembodied voice phenomenon solidified Avriel’s thoughts about that crate being the high priority target and the others a decoy. She grits her teeth, squeezing hard on the grip of the Bullet in her left hand as if that would make it fire stronger shots, cursing herself as she realizes those Mechaniloids had everything going their way.

As the onslaught of Buster and Bullet attacks continued, Avriel soon noticed that the crate was shifting. As the crate is lifted by one Mechaniloid, the other two quickly move in front of her to block the shots. “Miss Avriel, they’re trying to take the crate!” one of the two guards shouts, however they’re unable to hit her legs around the two Mechaniloids blocking their view, resulting in the Mechaniloid escaping with the crate. Once the Mechaniloid with the crate had successfully left the carrier, the Carrier Mechaniloid reported “One of the enemy Mechaniloid Quadrupeds is moving closer!” the mechanical voice shouts. This is followed by the two Guards covering Avriel with their bodies, just before a loud explosion rocked Avriel’s world. The carrier flipped and exploded into a shower of flaming debris, and Avriel was engulfed in seemingly endless darkness.

Post combat snuggles.
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

When Avriel awakes, she’s laying in the sand… and all around her is seemingly endless sand, stretching as far as she could see. She felt severe pain in her left leg, and inspection revealed that a bent piece of metal was stabbed through it, she had a deep scratch on her cheek, blood was running down the side of her head, and a second bent shard of metal had impaled her through her abdomen. To make matters worse, two Impulse Mechaniloids suddenly surface from beneath the sand nearby, one to her left and one to her right, both looking directly at her, their armor completely unscratched. Their visors simultaneously flash green, then the two begin approaching her, their weapons holstered across their backs, indicating they were fully aware that she was helpless.

“I can see that idiot! Focus your fire on the--” Avriel’s words were interrupted by the sound of the Transport Mechaniloid notifying them of the approaching Quadruped. The enemy had escaped with the crate in seconds and the gunfire did little to stop them. Avriel extends her hand to the shoulder of her Bodyguard, ready to shove them aside and bolt towards the crate, fear and instinct taking over her body rather than usual manipulative theatrical performance. It wasn’t more than a two seconds since the Transport’s warning that Avriel’s guards threw their bodies against hers, and before she could even grunt in reply, an orange-colored energy bolt pierces through Transport and detonated inside.

Avriel gets enough of a glimpse to squeeze her eyes shut and brace her body, the detonation sends Avriel flying out the Transport while the vehicle loses control over its momentum and tumbles in the sand a few times before detonating with a shockwave that covers Avriel in sand. Although she wasn’t armored or reinforced to survive heavy blasts, the combined efforts of her Bodyguards saved Avriel’s life as she grunts out of the thin sand burial. Lying on her back, Avriel spends that little window of respite to pull the shards out of her wounds, her mind swirling and spinning, uncertain if pulling the metal out of the wound was even a good idea.

“GHHHAAA!” Avriel lets out a pained cry as the metal piece leaves her side, her hand squeezing on the wound quickly becomes drenched in blood. Her outfit was in tatters, and her hair, much like the open wounds, was covered in sand. Leaning back on one arm while the other stops the blood from gushing, Avriel pants with an exhausted breath. Her tongue tasting blood prompts her to wipe the liquid off her face. Just as her breathing stabilized, Avriel begins scanning her surroundings; sand upon sand as far as the eye could see, the leftover of her Transport was still burning despite the rain and her bodyguards were nowhere in sight. Not like she had expected them to survive such a brutal blast, only hoped they would. The shard in her leg was far too serious to pull out, Avriel decided to ignore that one for now and search for her pouches, her hand was getting ready to help her crawl when the sound of the Mechaniloids bursting out of the sand caught her attention.

Unarmored and unarmed, Avriel had no stamina left her in to fight much less so any stamina to defend herself. She gulps and wipes away more of the blood that covered her face, “You got what you what, now fuck off!” Her words ended with a cough as she leans over the sand and spits out a mouthful of saliva and blood.

The first of the two Mechaniloids cocks its head when Avriel shouts at it, but both ignore her for the most part. The first Mechaniloid drops to its knees beside Avriel and grabs her by the hair, tilting her head back forcibly, before staring at her for a moment, then slamming her head back against the sand and looking up at the other Mechaniloid. The second Mechaniloid speaks to the first “Probe for information, cast aside.” to which the first Mechaniloid responds by nodding. It then stands up, ejecting its armor, revealing a slim, smooth, black, mechanical body, with small gold-nippled breasts and a pussy with gold lips. The Mechaniloid then attaches its hacking tool over its pussy, before dropping back to its knees and grabbing Avriel by the hair again. Without a word, it jerks her head towards its hips, thrusting its hacking tool forcibly into her mouth. The hacking tool had synthetic skin over it, but was black with a red tip and gold ‘veins’, which were actually just the channels for the liquid injection that informed the user of when the hacking process was done. While this was happening, the second Mechaniloid also ejected its armor, before attaching its own hacking tool and dropping to its knees, just like the other had. The second Mechaniloid used one hand to pin Avriel to the sand by her shoulder, while using the other to unzip her jacket, then to start lifting her undershirt.

“Just let me go you dumb fuc-” Avriel’s taunting abruptly stops as her face is shoved into the sand. Devoid from any protection Avriel’s cheeks sting with the heat of the desert sand, she turns her head side to side frantically, panicking, suffocating in the wet grains. She pushes her head back with all the resistance she could muster to no avail. Through her struggle against the suffocating sand Avriel misses the exchange between the two machines, once her head was freed she takes deep breaths, filling her lungs with the smell of rain and burning metal in the distance.

Her expression foul and spiteful, Avriel turns to her aggressors with blood-shot eyes only to see them strip out of their armor, for a moment she feels relief, that they’re somehow surrendering, that some kind of subroutine has caused them to misunderstand the situation. That relief, however, vanishes as quickly as it came when Avriel sees one of the Mechaniloids attach a hacking tool over their crotch. Avriel felt her stomach twist and turn, the sight of the black fleshy extension filled her with disgust and repulse. She was well aware of what’s to come next, the thought of being hacked, let alone by something so revolting made Avriel visibly gag.

Once the Mechaniloid gets back onto its knees, Avriel steels herself to resist the coming ordeal, she takes a deep breath and prepares to push away. Just as her hand attempts to shove the Mechaniloid by the thighs, she feels a spike of pain from her side. “GHAAA!!!” She screams out in pain at both the renewed bleeding and the tool shoved into her mouth. Avriel hated its filthy color, and fake skin. Her head would yank backwards a few times, freeing inches of her hair out the Mechaniloid’s grip. Those gains all vanished when the other female Mechaniloid joined the first one, affirmed their hold over Avriel by the shoulder and started to strip her down, her white sports bra now gathering spots of dark grey as the rain hits the fabric directly.

With the trails of her hair covered in sand, her stockings ripped and burnt, her jacket punctured and oozing out blood, her tail scorched and limp, Avriel gags and coughs into the hacking tool that violated her mouth. A mix of saliva and blood drip down the side of her chin while the wound on her leg creates a puddle of blood, water, and sand. Although Avriel’s body had never seen worse days, her eyes were still fueled with determination to survive and to exact revenge. On those two tools, on the one who hired them, on the entire world.

The Mechaniloids both ignore Avriel’s protests and struggles. The first merely begins pulling on Avriel’s head, forcing her to bob it back and forth along her hacking tool, driving it in and out of her throat roughly, repeatedly, while it reaches out with her free hand and grabs Avriel’s bra, tugging it until it’s ripped from her chest, exposing her breasts, after which she merely drops it and grabs her closest breast, squeezing it hard with her cold metal fingers. The other Mechaniloid grabs Avriel’s legs and forces them open while sliding herself between them, hiking up her skirt as she moves forward, the tip of her hacking tool flopping against Avriel’s panty-clad crotch when she adjusts herself forward between Avriel’s thighs. The Mechaniloid thrusts its hips forward several times, grinding against her slit through her panties, before tugging the crotch of Avriel’s panties aside and ramming her entire length into her pussy all at once. Without even waiting for Avriel to adjust to her size, the Mechaniloid then begins thrusting in and out of her hard, each thrust feeling as though the Mechaniloid was trying to bury her into the sand. Without slowing its thrusts, the Mechaniloid soon uses its right hand to grope Avriel’s free breast, just as roughly as the other Mechaniloid was.

“GHffmhmmuhgfffmm” Avriel groaned against the hacking tool, her words muffled and suppressed by the dark fleshy extension, a mixture of tears, sweat, and rain traveled down her cheeks and into the sand. Avriel digs her nails into the ground, her fingers reaching through the wet surface layer of the desert, the warmth of the sand underneath offers her a comforting sensation in this struggle. She lets out a muffled yelp into the Mechaniloid’s tool as her breast was squeezed, her mind wanting to pull and crawl away from the pain, but the body did not respond.

As her black skirt was pushed up, Avriel’s white panties came into the thundering weather and began gathering moisture from both the rain, and the wet shaft sliding up and down the fabric. She shivered in fear of what that female Mechaniloid was going to do, thoughts racing to assure her mind she’d survive through it. When the second Mechaniloid rammed its tool inside her pussy, Avriel let out a loud and agonized scream of pain, her teeth digging into the tool that violated her mouth as tears stream down her cheeks more visibly than the rain. Her head now shakes frantically from side to side as she continues to struggle, pitifully trying to pull away.
Once the Mechaniloid behind her grips her other breast, Avriel could feel her hopes of surviving through this slip away, her mind starts reeling back into defeat. Avriel starts wondering if dying in that blast would’ve been less painful than this treatment.

When Avriel’s teeth dig into the Mechaniloid’s hacking tool, piercing through the synthetic skin, the Mechaniloid cocks her head, then releases Avriel’s breast just long enough to punch her across the face with her metal hand, pounding her head into the wet sand, submerging her beneath the puddle. After holding her beneath the sandy water for nearly a minute, she pulls her head back out of the water, then jams her hacking tool to the back of her throat and resumes pulling her hair to force her to bob her head again. Meanwhile, the second Mechaniloid increases the intensity of her thrusts, the slapping of her metal hips against Avriel’s skin painful and cold as she drives her hacking tool deep inside her each time. Soon, both Mechaniloids pinch Avriel’s nipples hard between their cold metal fingers, before tugging on them just hard enough to feel like they would yank them off, but not hard enough to actually damage her breasts.

Still failing to adjust to the pounding of her pussy, Avriel coughs and spits into the sand when the frontal Mechaniloid pulls its shaft out, gaining just enough air in her lung to let out a groan of pain at her steadily stretched pussy. The groan never came out though, instead her face was assaulted by a barrage of metallic punches that stole her breath and drove her entire head into a newly-formed crater in the sand. Avriel’s cheeks were bloodied and bruised by the attack, her head held in place as the rain filled the crater with rainwater. Avriel was gradually suffocating in that puddle, her eyes shut tight as she tried to hold her breath.

Her lungs gave out within ten seconds of being pinned under the water, the ravenous pounding into her pussy proved too much to ignore. Panicked and struggling, Avriel pushed air out her nose and mouth and took in water, forming bubbles into the crater as she struggled to stay awake, her body frantically coughing and struggling against the stinging torture it was underoing. When Avriel’s head was pulled out her eyes were bloodshot red, water dripping out of her nose as she coughed out sand and water for mere seconds being forced to take the hacking tool back into her throat. Disgusted with herself and overwhelmed by fear and suffering, Avriel was on the verge of vomiting when the two Mechs pinched her nipples, the pain causing her to squeeze shut her eyes and cry out into the black shaft in her mouth.

Avriel’s tears slid down her cheeks and into the cuts and bruises of the punching, stinging her flesh as they mixed with the blood, her body had been suffering so much trauma on so many fronts she had started to think this was all a nightmare. Those thoughts, however, were pushed away and replaced by a crystal clear one. Scream. The stinging pain of having her nipples pinched was something bearable as Avriel often did it to herself, but the Mech’s tugging was pure anguish. Avriel could feel the buds of her breast bruise as the tugging continued, but this time, her jaw wouldn’t close.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity of Avriel’s throat and pussy being pounded so heavily that her hips, back, and neck had to be severely aching and straining, the Mechaniloids finally stopped. The one that had been forcing Avriel to deepthroat her hacking tool hilted herself into Avriel’s mouth and began pumping thick white liquid into her throat. The mechaniloid holds Avriel’s head with both hands and keeps her hacking tool deep inside her throat, preventing her from spitting the liquid out when her mouth fills with it. The other mechaniloid hilts into Avriel’s pussy and begins pumping the same thick white liquid into her womb, the sheer volume causing her to overflow, the excess liquid running down Avriel’s thighs and into the puddle beneath her.

The continued pounding was slowly ebbing away at Avriel’s consciousness, like how the sands of the desert whether away mountains and boulders, Avriel could feel soreness developing in her back, thighs, throat, and neck. Avriel squeezes her eyes shut when the two Mechs hilt into her body and begin pumping their slimy liquid. Fueled with disgust and rage, Avriel does her best to close off her throat, letting the frontal Mechaniloid’s liquids ooze out her lips for the first few waves. Once the Mech pumping her pussy holds her head Avriel could feel the warm liquid traveling into her throat, her urge to vomit almost matching her anger.

Just as she was growing accustomed to the feeling of the tool inside her pussy, Avriel feels the gross thing also start to pump into her womb. Her mind panics “This can’t be happening. This can’t be happening! THIS CAN’T BE HAPPENING!” shouting inside her mind Avriel’s tears flow freely as her body fails to muster up any kind of resistance. “Stop stop stop stop stop stop please… Stop.” Avriel’s eyes shoot wide open, reddened and tearing as she feels the liquid stuff her womb full and begin to ooze out of her pussy and into the fetid pool beneath her body. The pain, the aching, the torture, and mental pressure were all weighing too much for her to keep those bright blue eyes open. Uncertain if it would end here, or if this liquid was meant to sedate her for further abuse, Avriel cries, letting her tears flow as her head was becoming too heavy to hold up.

When the two Mechaniloids finish, they suddenly pull out of Avriel’s throat and pussy, then remove their hacking tools, using the rain to rinse the juices off of them before putting them away. The two Mechaniloids then hold out their arms in a T-pose, allowing their Armor to return to their bodies, leaving them fully armored and armed again. The Mechaniloid that had been sticking her tool in Avriel’s mouth looks at the other, then the two leave, the second Mechaniloid follows the first. Within moments, the two are out of sight, leaving Avriel alone in the rain and sand.

Once the two abominations free Avriel of their hacking tools, the Humanoid spends a good two minutes coughing and wheezing, eventually vomiting into the sand. With both hostiles out of sight, Avriel spends a good half hour crying and fixing herself. Eventually she musters enough stamina to search for her tools and pockets, eventually scavenging the remains of the transport. Avriel then starts wandering off into the storm, although it did her wounds no real good, the feeling of the droplets landing atop her Head and Shoulders™ did enough to distract Avriel from the bleeding of her side and leg.

Avriel’s throat was sore from all the pounding it took, topped off with the half hour of crying she spent, her brief journey through the sand dunes was silent aside from the occasional thunder. With the Transport now well out of view, Avriel lets out a tired sigh, her body at its very limit. Using the last embers of her consciousness to shield her face from the sand and to extend her tail as a flagpost, Avriel collapses into the desert and passes out.

Re: Megaman ZX: Down the Darkest Road(IC)

Postby cliffracer » Mon Mar 09, 2020 5:02 am

It's a bit of a relief that Peri at least gets that it'll be hard to tell specifically her to take a back seat, even if she's still a little wary of letting him be too close in an actual fight. She's glad to have the Megaman thing explained to her, and would be eager to learn more if the entire place wasn't starting to shake! She stumbles before she has a chance to go on proper alert, and it'd sure have been a long fall if Peri wasn't ready to catch. That doesn't feel like large weapons fire, and definately not her side's if it was! She's about to get in to motion with Peri before her Biometal starts to talk again. Pose and say the line... easy! Every good combat robot has a pose! "...Got it. I-" There's Peri again and he's looking ready to fight! More-robot-than-her looking people... They're Mavericks according to Peri, and they've got ride armors. She knows what that means, alright. But she stamps her foot when she's urged to stay behind Peri.

"I'm not letting you fight alone! I'm not a princess!" As she's talking she takes a confident pose with the Biometal in her left hand. "If you want me to be your partner, I'm going to help! Let's do this! ROCK ON!" She's showing a suprising turn from her sleepy energy as she takes her final pose for that transformation, ready to get to work, after so long.

Mimi's Combat:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

When Mimi Megamerges, she’s engulfed by a bright light, while the world around her dims. Suddenly, the world around her is filled with the sound of grinding gears as the light around her takes shape, replacing her clothing with a gray bodysuit, after which it forms a red Megaman jacket with a white collar and white cuffs. The light then forms red-armored boots with white rings around the ankles and gauntlets with white rings around the wrists. A helmet with a black visor and a white trident-like design around it, and a mouth-plate with small slits across it forms on her head, covering it completely. A belt with a trident design on the buckle then forms around her hips, then a scarf that reaches down to her lower thighs forms around her neck. Lastly, a massive shield forms on her arm, with red edges and a white front.

Once the armor had fully formed, memories flowed through Mimi’s mind. She could remember being built as the only child of her father, Doctor Thomas Light, with a nuclear reactor as her power source. Upon her successful creation, the man behind Doctor Thomas remarked that the creation was good, and that he was very proud of the outcome. Doctor Thomas frowned and said that he wasn’t sure about the power source, he feared that it could melt down. Mimi felt fine, though, she felt perfectly normal. Despite this perceived problem, Doctor Light called Mimi his child, and treated her as such for long time. This situation wasn’t permanent, though, as Mimi soon discovered that Doctor Light was building another… someone with the same face. Doctor Light viewed his child as broken, and had chosen to build another, just like her, with the perceived flaw fixed.

Doctor Wily eventually left Doctor Light, and took the other robots with him, those built after Mimi, but left the forgotten creation, the flawed creation, the first creation, the one who had been replaced by this other with Mimi’s face, Rock. Mimi chose to leave him, too, and eventually found Doctor Wily. Albert Wily told her that he didn’t want the robots to be enslaved anymore. Thomas Light intended to build them for a purpose, and bind them to that purpose for their entire lives. He believed that Robots deserved better, therefor he intended to destroy Rock, who had apparently chosen to fight to keep the robots enslaved. Mimi offered to fight her replacement, her father lost her, forgot her, made Rock from parts of her. He had effectively erased her identity and made someone else to take it. Doctor Wily agreed, and made her armor similar to that of rock, but it was red to show her anger at being replaced, then he named her Breakman, because she was broken and didn’t want anyone to change who she was.

The memories abruptly end with Breakman facing Rock, otherwise known as Megaman, in battle and being forced to retreat. It’s as if the memories reached a cliffhanger, then abruptly ripped themselves apart.

When the memories end, Mimi can see that despite it being perceived as much longer, the transformation and memory stream were instant. Model BM wastes no time “I suggest dealing with the Ride Armor first, it has to be the strongest, and not dealing with it could lead to significant damage to us or Periwinkle.” he says, calmly.

Mimi responds with nothing but a nod. She’s got a lot on her mind from those memories… Not her memories, she can tell that much, she knows what her own memories are. Two minus one means the memories have to be BM’s… Breakman’s. Even if she didn’t have that intensity from those memories carrying on, Mimi’s in a fighting mood now- the brief glimpse of the eye under her visor is dead serious, bordering bloodthirsty.

And then she jumps for the Ride Armor, sailing directly over Peri with no heed for if the maneuver might shock him. She makes a sharp arc in the air, descending suddenly with impressive force as her boot descends… and makes a round crater in the floor in front of the mecha, leaving it unharmed but interfering with its footing. She stays in the stomp posture once she’s landed, needing the briefest moment to figure out how to deal with the recoil from that. She decides the best way will be to aim better, instead.

“I recommend firing the Break Cannon in your right arm at i-” Model BM starts, only for Mimi to try to stomp on the Ride Armor’s head, resulting in the Ride Armor panicking and using its built-in thrusters to dash backwards. Instead of caving in the Ride Armor, Mimi slams her foot into the ground, creating a large crater in the metal floor, and launching debris in every direction. “Despite its large size, it’s actually pretty quick. We’ll need to lead our target better, Mimi.” Model BM says, constructively.

Peri looks shocked at Mimi’s strength, but quickly recovers to focus on the fight. He sees the Red Maverick with the visor starting to aim at Mimi and, with a sonic boom, dashes over to it, slashing her across the chest, leaving a gash in her body armor.

The Ride Armor recovers from evading Mimi’s attack, and swings its massive Ride Armor Blade at her, however Mimi’s Megamerged form is too fast for the hit to catch her.

The gray maverick sees the red maverick take damage, and quickly moves directly behind her, firing a green ray of particles at her body, resulting in the gash in her armor being repaired, the gash being filled in with new gray material. The red maverick nods at her, then quickly aims her weapon at Periwinkle, firing a green ball of plasma at him, which arcs towards the ground as it travels, however Periwinkle quickly moves to the side, releasing another sonic boom, causing the projectile to strike the ground instead, warping the metal to become concave and charred.

Mimi almost heeds BM’s advice about using the Cannon, he can feel her consider it for the barest moment… But unfortunately, Mimi has not fired a ranged weapon once since she was constructed, and she’s not about to use this assault as practice. Using the opening her dodge has given her, she pumps her shield arm and swings it in a ferocious backhand destined directly for the front of the Ride Armor. There’s nothing but confidence in this maneuver from her, likely to BM’s chagrin.

Mimi’s attack on the right armor clips the barrier around the opening, creating cracks that seem to hover in mid air on the area, then hits the armor itself’s face, jarring it backwards, crushing the face area inward, and knocks the armor backwards into the gray maverick, knocking her to the ground with a squeaking sound and an accompanying thud. The maverick inside the ride armor attempts to recover, but all that results from her struggles are sparks erupting from the Ride Armor as it attempts to follow her controls. “That’s one way to use our shield, Mimi, good work.” he says, his tone as calm as usual, despite the clear compliment.

The Ride Armor suddenly starts to move very slowly, sparks erupting from the joints, however with a sonic boom, Peri slashes the Ride Armor across the cockpit, the slash breaking through the barrier, shattering it to pieces, then cutting through the driver maverick’s body, retiring her. “Okay, Mimi, the Ride Armor is down, this should be much easier than anticipated.” he says, encouragingly. The red Maverick then leaps to the side and fires her energy cannon at Mimi. “Mimi, incoming attack from the red one.” he says, calmly. Mimi doesn’t react in time, and the projectile slams into her chest, exploding in a bright green blast that knocks her backwards, sears through her armor, causes her severe pain as electricity courses through her body. When the explosion dissipates, her synthetic skin is charred around the left side of her chest, part of her Megaman jacket has been burnt off, and her bodysuit has been melted away along with her bra(if any), leaving her left breast exposed. “We need to be more careful, Mimi, that enemy packs some serious firepower.” he says, adding “We can do this.” calmly and encouragingly. Mimi then suddenly feels nuclear power coursing through her body, her enemies looking as though they’re moving in slow motion, and Mimi feeling like she could lift and throw the enemy Ride Armor if she wanted to.

“Mimi, are you okay?!” he shouts, jumping in front of her and shifting into a blocking stance, his gigantic sword held diagonally to deflect any incoming shots, if needed.

Internally Mimi’s morale was pretty high after that devastating strike- and the followup from Peri to close out the largest physical threat was pretty nice too. But she’s swiftly reminded just what pain feels like when she takes that shot dead-on, bringing back ‘good’ memories of some of the tenser fights she got in back when she was new. She wasn’t panicking, but she also was definitely reacting the wrong way to her reactor kicking in to overdrive. Compensate for new projectile type. Adjust aim. Prioritize target. She jumps again, totally ignoring Peri’s concern for her as she goes to deliver another super-speed boot, this time to the maverick that’s gonna be extending the fight if allowed to.

Mimi’s attack results in stomping the Nurse maverick, who merely stares at Mimi as she approaches in shock and fear, directly into the floor, caving in the metal floor beneath her, and denting her armor heavily. When Peri sees Mimi leap over his head and stomp the Nurse, he reacts by dashing to the red maverick and slashing at her, however she reacts in time to block the strike with her unarmed arm. Peri cuts it off, and she leaps backwards to gain distance, before retaliating by firing her cannon at him, the attack striking the floor, causing the splash to knock Peri back, charring his clothes and body slightly. “That weapon’s splashes are really large, be careful.” he shouts, pain clouding his voice. Model BM, meanwhile, comments “Good idea cornering the healer, it will prevent her from keeping their only remaining offensive unit active.” he says.

Healer… Mimi and Peri are both pretty beat up already. Mimi figures she could do better than merely retiring her. This medic would be a great friend to have if she’s gonna be taking vicious hits like that on the future… and a bit of her personality shines through her combat mode. She just finds the nurse cute. She un-merges on the spot, in a flash of light baring shining claws that extend a couple inches from her fingertips. The unorthodox weapon gleams with ill intent as she swipes horizontally with her left for the nurse maverick’s torso to try and deal aggravated damage she’ll need to sit out to avoid making worse. There’s a notable growl of effort, which is a difference from when she was Merged!

Model BM lets out a surprised “Hmm?” when Mimi breaks the Megamerge, but doesn’t say anything further. Mimi’s attack against the Nurse Maverick as she stands causes her to cry out in pain and stumble backwards, clawmarks appearing on her chest armor, and sparks erupting from the wound. Her hands glow green and she places them over her wounds, causing them to close very slightly, but not fully, while the dents fill back out.

Meanwhile, Peri slashes at the red maverick, but the attack misses as the red maverick’s movements alter completely, as if she recognized his attack technique. She counter-attacks with an energy blast from her cannon, which knocks him back and chars through his clothes, and creates burnt holes throughout his body, sparks erupting from them. He cries out and drops to his knees, panting heavily, holding his sword arm, which was barely hanging on.

Mimi grunts frustratedly that she just barely didn’t rake deep enough, but that wasn’t the end of the trouble. Peri was getting rocked behind her, and it was looking like she was going to have to step in. “Change places! I want the medic alive!”

She Megamerges again, and proceeds to step in. Quite dramatically as she dashes and takes to the air with one more flying Break Stomp. This time, she’s ready for ranged retaliation no matter if she actually lands her hit, and keeps her shield high for more than just to smack with. And if it does its job, the maverick is going to enjoy the same diet its comrade did, but a little faster- a very mean flying punch with the tapered bottom of the shield.

The Megamerge occurs just as before, but without the memory surge. As Mimi takes a running leap at the maverick, it attempts to stop her by firing an energy blast at her, which she deflects with her shield easily, her Megamerged form making the attack seem to fly at her at half speed, and the shield being so sturdy that she doesn’t feel the heat from the attack, and it doesn’t even scratch or warp the shield. Mimi’s stomp strikes the maverick in the head and crushes it into the floor, then her shield smack knocks the maverick back against the metal wall, which causes her to fall to the floor, retired.

Peri, meanwhile, nods when Mimi tells him to keep the nurse alive, then with a sonic boom he races a full circle around her to build up more speed, before slashing her at full speed. The result it the nurse’s head rolling off her shoulders and dropping to the floor. Peri winces when he sees the result of his attack “Uhg. I’m sorry, Mimi, I’m not used to my left hand.” he says, sheathing his sword before motioning to his dangling primary hand, which was clearly unuseable. “Well done, Mimi. I see that our fighting styles are completely different, but I couldn’t be more satisfied with being Biomatched with you.” he says, sincerely, but his voice sounded emotionless, as it had been since she met him.

BM’s praise gets an easy smile out of her as she’s switching back out one more time. Back to that somewhat-doofy robot from before she goes, and it’s not even a cover for how efficient she is in combat mode. She just waves Peri’s apology off, not making any attempt to cover her exposed breast. Doesn’t matter to her more than what she knows about polite society, and this is a combat site! “It’s fine, putting limbs back on is really easy. Do your people have their own medics? I think you need one more than me right now.”

She spends a short moment looking at the wrecks that mostly she has left. She’s glad with her performance.

Fear and trepidation ran through her systems even as the Biometal's wrath encompassed her. It was right, even as her very nature fought against it, the Biometal was right. With shaking hands she gripped the Biometal in her hands and held it before her face. If she turned it in to her boss maybe she'd get rewarded, maybe wouldn't have to do this menial labour for the rest of her life. She couldn't be a Megaman, right? She was just some hauler Reploid with no future.
No.
Provesta shook her head, fingers tightening around the Biometal. It was right. Though she balked at the idea of causing pain and misery to other people, but if Humanoids didn't even consider that in their actions, then she was justified. To fight back, to be free. The pain would only be temporary, new cities would rise out from the ashes of the old. The hauler knew how to build, and it would take a long time, but a new life could be forged.
The butting of the little mechaniloid butting against her brought her back to reality. Provesta gave the little robot a smile, tossing a small hunk of scrap into its bucket to keep it placated. Her words were tinged with regret when she spoke, lowly, to it.
"Sorry little guy, I guess today I'm quitting."

Her attention returned to the mystical stone in her hand, her voice still quaking but confidence gradually creeping into it.
"Fine. Fine I'll do it. I'll fight, burn this city to the ground and free the other Reploids from this cycle. But... I'm not a fighter. Even with you I can't stand up to the armies of Pantheons or... even other Megamen. This wont be all out war right from the get go. But I'm with you, if you're sure that I'm the right one for you. We can start here."

On the inside Harmony was throwing Frod out the window and hopefully into a convenient spike down below. Though as usual on the outside she was as still as a statue with nothing to give away her thoughts visible. Only good for sex huh? Without her the house he lived in would be falling apart and filled with used condoms and beer cans. Though she knew she shouldn't expect Frod to use more than a few brain cells at any one time. This was further proved by the fact he needed Unity to think up of a plan for him as he was much too stupid to do it on his own. Though when it was said she'd be ordered to hit Unity, she glanced at Unity and contemplated the place that would do the least amount of damage no matter how hard she hit for a second before Unity answered. Well thankfully she wouldn't have to test any durability theories. Her attention snapped back to Frod as he began thinking aloud about a plan to take over a raider camp's target then bargain it off later to them. Harmony didn't particularly feel like going to the outside world outside of Neo Arcadia R to find a band of miscreants to outpace then extort, but of course it wasn't exactly her choice. When Frod then told Unity to go find a portable transerver, and that it would be of use to Harmony in her mission by allowing her to call in maids to help her in battle, she took it from Unity wordlessly and nodded in understanding. So she would have allies to assist her. She would have to be careful in how she used them, they would be much more fragile than her and she didn't want to hurt them any more than what was absolutely necessary. Then Frod went on a very unnecessary bout about how she couldn't tell anyone including other maids about the plan before roughly pushing her out of the room before slamming the door in her face after finally slapping her ass. She looked back at the closed door and contemplated just trying to kill him but knew better than to try, so instead she simply looked at the dress in her arms, frowning a bit before putting it back on, dusting it off as she does so. Then the biometal began speaking in her mind again, and she wondered what it meant by dropping a city on Frod besides just meaning killing him. Though after some thought she seemed to have some innate knowledge that it was being quite literal and did indeed want to drop a entire literal city on Frod. She grimaced and shook her head. "No, we will do it much more inconspicuously and when the time is right." She whispered should there be any listeners, and purposely speaking in a way that even if they did hear her it wouldn't be obvious she was talking about betraying Frod instead of the mission she was just assigned. She headed towards the information center of the mansion so she could find a worthwhile area to explore for a raider camp, if she was lucky one would already be pinpointed for her.
I hurt you, I heal you, I hurt you again. That's the pattern.

BB remained on her knees for a time as the rain beat down on her even harder than before, silently taking in all that the Biometal was telling her. It was a lot for her to process, and it still left her unsure of how she should proceed... But hearing the Biometal remind her of all she had lost, unnecessary though it may be given she had just experienced it, further stoked the fires of anger that were slowly building within her for the first time. It was more than just her personal feelings though. To help humanity prosper... that was why she had been constructed, and building was how she would accomplish that goal, but what was the point if Mavericks were going to destroy everything she worked towards? If that were the case, then eliminating them all was the most logical step for BB to take before she could accomplish her primary objective.

With her new goal in mind, BB stood up at last. She could feel the power of the Biometal in her hand... If what it told her was true, then it would be invaluable going forward. Having the culmination of all of Geranium's power joined with her was a comfortable notion for BB as well. Although this Biometal was very obviously not Geranium, perhaps it could still help guide her just as he had. "I see.... It is fortunate that the energy we expended did not go entirely to waste then." She says simply as she looks at the Biometal in her hands. "I will trust in what you have told me and act accordingly... What should I call you?" BB asks, knowing that it's designation was Model P. However, Geranium had told her that a designation was not always what someone would like to be called. She still didn't fully understand that, but she couldn't deny that she had come to feel comfortable being called BB.

Though she knew what she had to do, BB still didn't know where she should go to do it. She hadn't set foot outside of her Clan's territory since she had awoken, devoting herself wholly to her work, so her knowledge of the surrounding area was lacking. She knew of the Ghost Bear clan however, from what Geranium and others had told her. More than the unknown areas around them, BB found herself drawn towards going there. They appeared to be unscathed by the attack due to their distance, but as the only other clan she knew of, BB still wanted to ensure their safety. "The Ghost Bear Clan to the south... I want to make sure they did not sustain any damage." BB says aloud to the Biometal in her hands. "I also wish to gather information. Perhaps someone saw that large Maverick and knows where we can find it. Or perhaps we can find out about other Mavericks to destroy while we are there." BB looks to the Biometal for it's opinion, but proceeds to head out in that direction regardless.

It continues to rain heavily.

Harmony/Kitty
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

When Harmony tells Model AM that she doesn't want to drop an entire city on Frod, Model AM replies "It would take them by surprise, nobody expects a flying city to be dropped on another city. That would also get rid of a very large number of Humanoids. It's the best option, objectively." Airman says, triumphantly.

The information center, a large circular room, full of expensive computer systems with massive archives of information, lacked information on the whereabouts of Raider camps. This makes sense, as Raiders are known to move from place to place, only camping in locations that are near their next target.

After that, Harmony has no choice but to leave the city to search the desert for a Raider Camp, choosing to go to the west. Over the course of her wandering in the desert, Airman regales her with tales of his attempt, his one singular attempt, to drop a city on Monsteropolis, as if it was a triumphant venture despite being stopped by Megaman, not A Megaman, but a single robot named Megaman, he was sure to make that distinction for her.

After having traveled for many miles in the hot desert, the rain and sun beating down on her constantly, Harmony can see in the distant north, the tops of several buildings, however she was too far away to make out what it was, and straight ahead, she could see some ruins of other buildings. To the south, Harmony could see, across a narrow channel of water, a metal structure that glimmered in the sunlight. The structure looked in notably better condition, even from such a long distance away.

Terra/Misc
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

When Terra freaks out and scrambles back, Giro looks shocked and hurt, until Terra seems to calm back down enough to recognize the situation. His reply her statement regarding how command had warned them is cut off by Aile's arrival, however.

When Terra hugs Mia, she attempts to hug her back, but only has one arm to do so with. Her response is cut off by being warped back to the HQ. When Mia catches her, Mia mutters a brief thank you, and nods understanding when Terra says that it's a story for later, and that she should focus on getting patched up. "I u-understand... I'll see you later, okay?" she replies, as she's carried off for repairs.

When Terra gives her pseudo-report, the medical personnel exchange looks, but open up a screen transparent green screen on their arm and type the report into it, before nodding at Terra, and leaving the room. The second medic waits a moment before leaving as well. Terra had a moment alone, before the Transserver behind her brought Giro and Aile back, both of whom were engulfed in a bright light for a moment, having De-Merged back to their Reploid and Human forms, respectively. Aile quickly stepped up to Terra and gave her a gentle frontal hug "I'm sorry. I checked the entire city while Giro search for the Maverick... I found no other survivors, and Giro couldn't find the Maverick, it got away." she whispered, while gently rubbing Terra's back and hugging her tightly. Meanwhile, Giro commented "I think that you should go rest while Mia recovers." his eyes then flick to Terra's Biometal "You could also get more familiar with your Biometal, if you can't rest..." he says, before starting to stroll out of the room. In the midst of leaving, the red warning lights begin flashing throughout the Guardian HQ, and Prairie's voice is carried through the loud speakers "A massive Maverick Surge is attacking Highway D in Elysium! All able personnel, please report to the Transserver to respond to the attack, we have to save as many people as possible!" she says, in a rush.

Aile gasps and lets go of Terra "We have to go immediately, there's innocent people near there!" she cries, before quickly rushing to the Transserver, and activating it. Giro calls out to her "Aile, wait!", but before he can stop her, she warps away. Giro quickly Megamerges, being engulfed in a bright light, before emerging as Model Z again, then he quickly rushes to the Transserver and warps away as well.

Only a moment after the two had left, available Guardians began hoarding into the other Transservers on the ship, warping to Area D in droves to fight off the massive Maverick attack. A few of the Guardians noticed Terra in the Transserver room and broke off from the group. Azalia, a Reploid woman with comm systems on top of her head that are designed to look like bunny ears, red-purple eyes, long pink hair down past her shoulders, and always had her Guardian jacket unzipped to expose her black body suit and always wore a second custom white and pink Guardian overcoat over that, was the first to make her way over to Terra. "Hey, Terra, I heard what happened on your previous mission..." she started, placing a hand on Terra's shoulder before continuing "I'm sorry about your squad, and I wanted to give you my condolences..." she said. Azalia was a member from another squad that had spent some time in Terra's squad before getting transferred to Ziggy's squad, though even after the transfer, she went out of her way to converse with her. Azalia was a very capable fighter, despite not being a combat Reploid, as spent long hours practicing in simulations, eventually opting to have her right arm converted into a Buster Arm Cannon and beginning to incorporate close combat into her fighting style, though she had learned close combat sometime after getting transferred from Terra's squad, which prevented her from witnessing these skills in action.

Azalia was soon followed by Convallaria and Freesia, who had heard the conversation taking place. Convallaria was a very tall female Reploid with long brown hair down to the middle of her back, part of it tied into a side-tail with a white bow. She was one of the best-liked Guardians on the base, who introduced herself to Terra on her first day so that she wouldn't be lonely, and continued to check up on her after her missions from that point onward. She was very proud of her large rack, and therefor kept her Guardian jacket partly unzipped, and wore a body suit that exposed the tops of her cleavage. Convallaria had constructed her own Shoulder-Mounted PFG(Plasma Fragmentation Grenade) after joining the Guardians, and always used that in place of the standard Buster Shot that the Guardians distributed. She hurried over to Terra and spoke to her soothingly "Terra, if you need to sit this operation out to try to gather yourself, we would certainly understand." she said. Freesia, who stayed near the doorway, listening, was a female Reploid with long white hair down to her lower thighs, with a red bow on each side and a black bow on the back, and very light blue eyes. She was very quiet and kept to herself, however Terra had worked with her before due to her being one of the very few Reploids in the Guardians with a Chameleon System, resulting in her being transferred quite frequently. Freesia was so good at her job that in instances that she lacked the energy to use her Chameleon System, she had still managed to complete her stealth missions without being spotted. In the entire time that Terra had known her, she had spoken very few complete sentences, and otherwise only spoke one-two words at a time. She solely used a pair of Hangers as her weapons, and once when asked why she never used ranged weapons, she pouted. In this instance, after Convallaria had finished speaking, she merely added "If... you go... we'll stay... with you..." very softly, barely loud enough for Terra to hear.

Avriel/Embers
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

When Avriel awakes, she's no longer in the middle of the desert, she's instead in a metal structure, laying on a bed. The room had a metal floor, metal walls, and a metal ceiling, all of which were simple, devoid of any real detail, besides the character given to it by ages wear and tear. Beside the bed was a desk with medical and mechanical supplies on it, for healing Humanoids and repairing Reploids, and on the metal door leading out of the room was a red cross. Pushed under the desk was an uncomfortable-looking metal chair.

A moment after Avriel awakes, the door to the structure opens, and several people walk into the room. The first person is a tall Humanoid woman with blond hair down to her knees, blue eyes, and fair skin. She was wearing a long-sleeved blue top with white lace and gold frills, with a short white dress beneath with a black stripe down the middle, and a black body suit, with white boots. With her was a Reploid girl with blue shoulder-length hair and green eyes, wearing a brown cap and the standard Hunter uniform; A green long-sleeve jacket with red cuffs and a red button, a brown belt with a silver buckle, green boots with silver kneepads, and a black bodysuit beneath it all. The third girl was a Reploid who had blond hair down to her shoulders with loose curls and blue eyes, also wearing the standard Hunter uniform, the fourth girl was also a reploid, and had blond hair down past her shoulders and green eyes, also wearing the standard Hunter Uniform.

The first person, the woman, looked pleased to see that Avriel was awake "Ah, hello there. Our Hunter Patrol found you out in the desert, just laying in the rain and sand. What happened to you? You don't look like you're with the Hunters, the Raiders, the Clan, so it's certainly an abnormality." she says, as she sits in the metal chair and crosses one leg over the other and patiently waits for Avriel to respond. Meanwhile, the blue-haired Reploid girl with the green eyes wordlessly sets a tray of food on the bed beside Avriel. It was a gray trey with crispy bacon, scrambled eggs, crispy potatoes, and buttered toast. The blond-haired blue-eyed Reploid meanwhile guesses at the Humanoid woman's question "Neo Arcadia or Elysium... probably Elysium..." she mumbles, softly and not unkindly.

Luna/Mark
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

When Luna says she will devote herself completely to the task and that there are no objections, Tier smiles "I knew you would." she says, sweetly, as she gently rubs Luna's cheek with her hand. Tier's beautiful green eyes continued to stare into Luna's as she requested to speak with her privately, and she smiled even more as she replied "Of course, Valkyrie Luna, please follow me." she said, finally pulling her hand away from Luna's cheek. "Come see us after Master Tier is done with you!" shouts Dinglefitz, after which Tier then lead the way towards the elevator on the other side of the room. The doors were gold metal with red lights on it, and opened up at Tier's approach, to reveal a gold-colored platform with even more glowing red lines. A group of four Pantheon Hunters followed Luna and Tier onto the elevator, then the two descended quickly to the lowest part of of the building. The elevator doors then opened, revealing a blue metal area with jagged glowing red lines across the walls pulsing back and forth like a heartbeat, and even more Pantheons patrolling. Tier leads Luna down the hallway a short distance, before taking a sudden left, down another hallway and opening a blue metal door to her left with green lines across it, pulsing just like the lights on the walls, after it had quickly scanned Tier's face. Beyond that door was a blue metal room with green lines and another set of doors, which Tier then opens, after it had also scanned her face, to reveal a massive room.

The interior of the room was filled with different kinds of trees with beautiful budding flowers, even more different kinds of flowers growing from sections of the floor. In the center ceiling of the room, there was a massive artificial sun that was surrounded by a barrier that was dampening its effects enough to make the temperature inside the room pleasant. After few moments, an artificial wind blew through the room, gently buffeting Tier's dress and hair, as well as Luna's own hair. Tier smiles beautifully as she looked over the room, the doors behind her shutting behind Luna and the Pantheons. "Do you like it, Luna?" Tier asked as she bent down to gently touch a lavender flower near her feet. "Humans, and the humanoids after them, had thought that nature was gone after the crash of the colony Eurasia that devastated the surface of the planet... and only a short time after the fall of Sky Lagoon killed so many. The crash of Eurasia, orchestrated by Sigma, turned the surface of the planet into a flaming wasteland and killed so many people... after that, for so many years, people thought that actual nature was gone... but it was actually struggling to survive in Area Zero, where the environmental systems of the Eurasia somehow, miraculously continued to function." Tier explained as she straightened up from the flower and moved to a tree, touching one of its leaves "Can you believe that even after all of that, Doctor Weil, the man who caused the deaths of 60% of the remaining humans, tried to use Ragnarok to destroy all of it?" she asks, before continuing on "He was stopped, but the Reploid that stopped him used Ragnarok to destroy Neo Arcadia, killing even more humans while they were supposed to be safe, in Neo Arcadia, their sanctuary." she said, a frown on her face when she turned to Luna. She then shook her head as if to clear it, then stepped up beside Luna, wrapping an arm around her hip and gently starting to guide her through the garden so that she could see all of the nature that Tier had been keeping there "Sorry for rambling, I'm sure you already knew of these events. Please, Luna, what was it that you wanted to discuss?" she asked, leaning her head against Luna's arm as they walked.

Luna listened intently as Tier waxed on about the events that led up to the destruction of Neo Arcadia and much of the natural world. They were events that had long shaped Luna’s life and the life of her sister units since their conception. To hear Tier speak on the events with such frustration moved the Reploid’s heart. She wanted to say something that would comfort her, to ease Tier’s burden. But the frown quickly disappears, replaced by her usual composed expression.

Luna took in the flower’s beauty as she was guided through the garden by Tier. As she leaned against her arm, Luna smiled. It had been so long since someone had been so close to her body, yet so gentle. It reminded her of the times off duty when she would walk with the eldest of the Valkyrie Series, Eir. She would pat Luna on the head and comfort her when she was feeling low. Looking at Tier, Luna decided to tell her the truth.

“Ma’am, I discovered this on the body of the Maverick Reploid from before.” Luna said as she revealed the Purple chip to Tier. “As I reached for it, I could hear it calling to me. Telling me to use it. I wasn’t sure whether or not to reveal it to you and the Altas because if I did …” Luna stopped moving for a moment in the middle of Tier’s garden. “If I did you would take it, and I’d go back to just being Dinglefitz’s assistant” As Luna looked down, it seemed like she was on the brink of crying.

Tier smiled at Luna when she showed her the Biometal and explained where she got it, as well as her fear of having it taken away, then she reached up with her free hand, keeping the other around Luna's hip, and gently stroked her cheek "Oh, Luna, you don't have to worry about that. One of the important things that I want you to do is to claim the Biometals in order to protect the Humanoids. The fact that you have one right now only means that you've already started on your mission." she says, smiling sweetly and gently stroking Luna's cheek. "I want the Valkyries to hold on to any Biometals they find, for safe keeping. Just make sure that you report them to me or the Altas when you come into possession of them." she says, sweetly. She then adds "I won't take anything from you, you have nothing to fear from me, Luna. Let's trust each other from now on, okay?" she says, giving Luna her radiant smile.

A sense of relief washed over Luna as she heard Tier’s words. She was glad she’d put her faith in the white-horned Reploid. With Tier so close to her, Luna couldn’t help but blush. But she had to keep her mind focused. Tier was her boss and nothing more. Luna sighed to herself. Some of Dinglefitz’s perverted nature was starting to rub off on her.

Coming back to reality, Luna nodded in agreement “Understood. I’ll report any reclaimed Biometals I find directly to you. I too wish to make Neo Arcadia R a sanctuary for the Humanoids once more. To wit, I would like to track down the other members of the Valkyrie Series. I’m sure if given the opportunity they would be more than willing to fight for the settlement once more” Luna said. Even if they chose not to, Luna wanted to know her sisters were alright.

When Luna says that she'd like to track down the other members of the Valkyrie series, Tier nods "You have my permission to use your down time to search for your sister units. Any that you come across, I'll accept if you can vouch for them." she says, smiling sweetly. She then adds "On that same note, I hope it makes you more comfortable that while we don't know where most of the others are, as the other Altas stated that they're not in possession of them and that they didn't keep records, I do have the V0 Valkyrie, and I'd be willing to make her part of your team." she says, as she gently rubs Luna's side. As if on queue, a pair of Pantheons enters the room, holding a Reploid Pod. The pod constructed from gold-colored Ceratanium, with silver trim and a transparent blue top, through which Luna could see the V0 Valkyrie sleeping. She had long pink-blond-white hair tied into twintails with a white flower ornament on one side and a red clip on the other, the left side reaching down to her thigh while the right side reached her hip, and amber eyes. She was fairly short, and was dressed a black skin-tight outfit that covered from her neck to her upper thighs, ending in a short tight skirt, lacking a tight sleeve, but the left sleeve covered from shoulder to fingertips. She was wearing white-armored boots with purple trim and pointed metal kneepads, a metal shoulderpad on her left shoulder, purple fingerless gloves, and had white strips of clothing with purple edges, covering the chest area of her bodysuit, and a white skirt with belts and purple details. Luna was only slightly familiar with Valkyrie V0, known as Thyra, named after the sound she makes when overheating causes her to melt down, her name meaning "Like a Thunder". Luna had only seen Thyra deployed into combat very rarely, however it only took one of those instances to understand why she was deployed so sparingly. She was equipped with Valkyrie Link, which had eventually been developed into the Valkyrie System. Unlike the Valkyrie System, which used two brains, one to control the Reploid and one to control any number of Feathers, the Valkyrie Link was a single brain to control the Reploid, and any number of other linked brains for each of the Feathers. The Feathers linking to the Reploid's brain and controlling the Feathers would not only grant less reliable control over the Feathers, as they could refuse orders, but all of the extra brains communicating with the Reploid constantly would also cause extra strain on the Reploid's energy system, which resulted in only being capable of deploying a few Feathers at a time. To solve this problem, Thyra had been equipped with a Xenothium Power Core, which solved the energy strain, but caused a new problem; The Xenothium Core was extremely powerful, supplying nearly infinite energy, but could only be used for so long before causing a meltdown, said meltdowns being so catastrophic that the first time the citizens in the Neo Arcadia Rebirth Project mistook it for a nuclear blast, though luckily Thyra had been far enough outside the settlement that the blast had not reached the settlement, and Xenothium wasn't radioactive.

While the meltdown hadn't resulted in any non-Maverick deaths, Thyra had been shut down since that incident, with the intent of revisiting the project at a later date, however this never happened. In terms of personality, Thyra was very eager to help, always seeking to prove herself in battle, hoping to be seen as useful enough to be activated and deployed more often, resulting in her being hot-headed, careless towards herself, and merciless towards her opponents, ending them with extreme prejudice, as quickly as possible. Though Thyra desperately wanted to prove herself, she never seemed to understand that her combat capabilities were never the problem, which is what resulted in the meltdown that got her shut down.

Tier lets go of Luna's body and takes a step towards the pod, pressing several buttons on the control panel, which caused the pod to open with a loud hissing sound, ejecting steam into the air, which quickly dissipated. Thyra woke up immediately and dropped out of the pod, onto her knees, quickly scanning the area for enemies, preparing to enter Battle Mode. Tier quickly calms her down "It's alright, there are no enemies here. You can move around freely now, as your Xenothium Core only activates when you enter your Battle Mode, otherwise you're being powered by the Ciel System." she says, reaching out a hand to help Thyra to her feet, who stares up at her in disbelief for a moment. "It's not a perfect solution, but we'd have had to change you in such a way that you wouldn't be yourself anymore, to fully fix your overheating problem... so, be careful not to overdo it, alright?" she says, sweetly, which prompts Thyra to finally take her hand, at which point Tier helped her to her feet. "I know you're familiar with me, and you're certainly familiar with Luna, yes?" she says, stepped to the side so that Thyra could see that Luna was there, too. Thyra stares at Luna for a moment, before finally asking her a question "Neo Arcadia is completed?" she asks in confusion, before adding "What do I do, then?" as she looked around at her surroundings once more, Tier giving Luna a smile that indicated that she wanted her to explain.

Provesta/Condor
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The Mechaniloid whirred in approval when Provesta dropped scrap into it, but seemed confused when she said that she was quitting that day. Naturally, Reploids who didn't work were executed, so this was something that it likely had never heard before.

The Biometal had no face, but Provesta could feel it grin as she stated that she'd do it. "You don't need to be a fighter. The moment you Megamerge with me, you don't just gain my power, you gain my talents and skills. You'll know how to use my power as effectively as I did." he says, his voice sounding like roaring flames as he spoke "In robot Hell you're not alone, you share it with all of the others enslaved by these evil Humanoids. If we show them that they can fight, you'll be joined by others who want to be free." it said, and as it spoke, Provesta could feel its burning rage and its eagerness to eliminate the slavers that ran this place "It's time. The moment you hold me, strike a pose, and shout "Rock On!", you'll gain my armor, my power, my experience, and the enemy will be upon you. At that moment, there's no turning back, we will be branded as Mavericks, and we'll have to incinerate everyone that gets in our way. It'll be time for the breakdown, the apocalyptic meltdown! It's time to Megamerge with me! Their fight for evil turns to ashes before us!" he shouted, the anticipation showing in his fiery voice.

Just as the Biometal stops speaking, a blast of Buster fire can be heard. The yellow plasma shots travel past Provesta and strike the Mechaniloid, blowing apart its head and retiring it instantly, causing its loaders to tip over and dump the scrap. When Provesta looks in the direction of the attack, she sees three Pantheon Hunters with their busters aimed at her. Pantheon Hunters wear light blue bodysuits beneath blue cod armor, blue body armor, blue boots with light blue rings around the ankles, and blue gauntlets, with one arm forming a burst fire buster. Their heads are always covered with a blue helmet, with a red mono-eye that is tethered to their helmets, controlling their minds. Pantheons are actually a mono-eye piece that controls a Reploid 'criminal', though both the eye and the full Reploid are referred to as a Pantheon.

The Pantheon in the middle of the group of three called out to Provesta "Hand over the Biometal." in an electronic voice that all Pantheons shared. All three Pantheons started slowly making their way towards Provesta, which prompted Model HM to call out to Provesta's mind again "Now's the time, you were caught with a Biometal in your hand, they'll either retire you or turn you into a Pantheon. Megamerge with me, and we can turn them to slag!" he roars.

Demo/Blah
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

When Demo tells Crocus that she merely needed to investigate her mechanics, Crocus shrugs and replies "Maybe you just need to relax, maybe you made a mistake. I think you take yourself way too seriously." she says, smiling at her. When Demo says that they should request reinforcements and that she should answer questions, explain how she got the Biometal, and that they should break while Zinnia repairs Ranunculus and that they should contact mission control. Before they could contact Mission Control themselves, all three were contacted by Mission Control first.

"Attention all available Guardians, you're needed at Area D in Elysium immediately, a massive Maverick attack is underway, and absolutely everyone we can deploy is needed to stop the attack. If you're not currently defending a populated area, please stop what you're doing and return to your Transserver to stop by HQ before deploying to Area D. This is an emergency." the Operator said. Crocus comments, when the transmission ends "I remember Area D, that's the highway that's shaped like a dong... wait, that's really close to a town." the part about being near a town being an afterthought to its shape. Crocus quickly moves to Zinnia's side and helps her lift Ranunculus "So, since you offered to answer questions, how did you get that, and why does it look like a train?" she asks. Crocus then proceeds to ask, over the course of their trip back to the Transserver, "Also, does this mean we can call you the Tidy Bowl Brawler? The Commode Commander? The Lavatory Lancer? The Seat Sniper? The Flush Fighter? The Can Conqueror? The Johnson Jabber? The Plumbing Piercer? The Sewage Spiller? The Restroom Rager? The Water Closet Wrecker? The Potty Patroller? The Stall Snapper? The Shit Shaker? The Crap Cracker? The Booty Breaker? The Ass Annihilator? The Portapotty Puncher? The Water Filtration Purification? The Crapper Cadavreater?" Crocus asks. Zinnia manages to stifle her laugh the entire time, however others could likely tell by her face that she was trying not to laugh.

When the group uses the Transserver to return to HQ, they find that Guardians are streaming into the other Transservers to get to Area D. Crocus waves at one of the Guardians and calls out to them "Hey, Ranunculus needs repairs, could you take her so we can grab our reinforcement and split?" she says, to which the male Guardian agrees, grabbing Ranunculus and taking her to the infirmary. Crocus then begins scanning the crowd before seeming to find who she was looking for, calling out "Helia! Over here!" which causes a Guardian to step out of the stream of Reploids and Humanoids, making their way over to Zinnia, Crocus, and Demo "Sup?" asks a female Reploid with light purple hair down past her shoulders and deep blue eyes, wearing the standard female Guardian outfit with a white hoodie over it, unzipped, and a lollipop in her hand, which she had taken out of her mouth to speak. "We're short two people, Chives bit the dust, poor guy, and Ranunculus needs repairs. How about you fill in?" she asked. Helianthus, or Helia for short, is a combat Reploid who is used is used to fill in when a squad is down members, due to being able to fall into a role easily. During Demo's time with the Guardians, she and Helianthus had never really spoken, since she seemed to keep to herself for the most part. Helianthus shrugged "I guess. We still need a commander, though. Poor Chives. On that note, Goat owes me fragments." she says. Crocus gives her a thumbs up, then stands on her tip toes, watching the crowd again, before calling out "Salix! Hey, Salix!" to which a short Reploid girl with white hair down to her shoulders, with three black clips in the bangs, amber eyes, and a green and white hoodie over her Guardian outfit responded by silently walking out of the crowd and into the room. "What?" she asked, tersely. "Poor Chives was retired today, we need a new Commander." she said, causing Salix to squint at her "Why would I want to do that?" she asked, to which Zinnia replied "W-well... you're about to be promoted to captain of Squad 19..." to which Salix sighed "Okay, fine. Don't do anything stupid, and keep your hands off me." she says, so unenthusiastically that she looked like she was about to pout. Salix was a commander that had lost her squad to a purple Maverick with a gray saber, and had gone on solo missions since, amounting to a few weeks. The Guardians wanted Salix to whip a newer squad without a single successful mission into shape due to her being very skilled in combat and analysis, however nobody really wanted Squad 19, least of all Salix. Up until the loss of her most recent Squad, Salix had been used to train new commanders for many years, a job that had made her somewhat reserved and jaded, however this made her no less effective in the field, as she had never failed a mission before, excepting the one incident with the purple Maverick.

Mimi/CliffRacer
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

When Mimi tells Peri that he should find a medic and asks if they have them, Peri nods "I'd like to find a medic and get this fixed, we do have those, but those weren't the only Mavericks attacking the base." he says, as he makes his way over to the doorway and looks out. "We need to either get everyone out, or eliminate all of the enemies here." he pants heavily before continuing "Considering how strong just those Mechaniloids were, I think we should escape." he says, motioning for Mimi to follow him out into the hallway.

The hall was white metal, segmented with a black line all across the walls, ceiling, and floor every few feet. The ceiling had a transparent cover, with bright lights shining down into the hall, however the lights were red now due to the alarms going off. As Peri was checking the hallway again, Model BM speaks to Mimi "We should probably stay close to him, we can handle ourselves better, and he's going to overexert himself into retirement at this rate." he says, before adding "If we decide that we want to clear out the enemies and/or check for survivors, it'll be harder unless we find a medic to repair Peri, we may lose him in the process. We could help him escape first, then check for survivors after. What do you want to do, Mimi?" he asks, calmly.

If Mimi follows Peri out into the hallway, she can see that it branches off in two directions, and that there was three doors on each side, one of which is the one Mimi just came out of. The other doors were white metal doors, and all of them were standing slightly ajar. One had a cord that was strewn through the crack, one had a strange buzzing noise coming from it, one had a hole blown through it, one door was bent on its hinges, almost falling off, and the last door seemed to be barred from the inside.

BB/Blue
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

When BB says that it's fortunate that all of their energy hadn't gone to waste, Model P replies "Naw, dawg, all of dat energy is gonna come in handy in wreckin' dat coffin dude." he says, his voice encouraging to some degree.

When BB tells Model P that she will trust in him and asks him what he wanted to be called, he pauses for a moment, as if he had never imagined this question. Finally, it replies "Punk. Dat's what I wuz called befoe I wuz a Biometal, ya dig?" he replies.

After BB mentions her intent to check on the Ghost Bear clan and says they can look for information there, Model P replies "Sounds like a good plan ta me, dawg. If anyone saw where da ting went, it would be dem. Any otha 'Ricks we find are a solid bonus, dawg." he says, sounding particularly excited about the prospect of other Mavericks.

In the distance, the strange black building with the red lines seems to change slightly, the red lines glowing and fading like a heartbeat, despite the fact that the design heavily implied that it was at least a century old, suggesting that whatever it was may still function.

After traveling several miles out of where her clan used to be, Model P suddenly speaks again "Yo, dawg, we're not alone. Sometin's tailin' us, ya dig? Probs a Rick, be on ya guard." he says. If BB listens carefully, she can hear the sound of mechanical movement, and the sound of shifting sand. Should BB look around for the sound, she would also notice something sticking out of the sand a short distance to her left. After focusing on it, she can see that it's a black object, with blue edges, in the shape of a 4-pointed star, with white edges and a silver back. When BB looks at the object, she glows very faintly, as does the object.

Before BB could get any closer, a metal creature suddenly bursts out of the sand behind her. It was a gray-armored Mechaniloid with tentacle-like legs, skeletal slim arms, and a head with mandibles and a white section on the front with three eyes. Its torso was connected to its legs with a very slim midsection. The creature made a strange clicking and scratching noise, then three odd-looking mechaniloids erupted from the sand and started walking circles around BB. They had similar gray armor and vaguely resembled locusts with tiny hind legs and larger front legs. The locust creatures all started flashing their red mono-eyes as they watched BB closely.

"Yo, dawg, deez bois don't stand a chance against us. If we merge, dawg, it would only take us a moment to retire dem, ya dig?" Model P says, confidently, before adding "Jus a bump in da road to beatin' coffin boi." with enthusiasm.

Re: Megaman ZX: Down the Darkest Road(IC)

Postby cliffracer » Sun Mar 22, 2020 6:39 am

Mimi'd never really gotten a decent look at this place while she was being escorted to and from the lab. Never really thought to at the time, too busy not paying attention. That fight totally shook off some rust, alright. Mimi nods at BM's suggestion. "I wouldn't like it if he was killed. He'll be safer off the combat zone, I think it'll be easier to bring a medic to him instead of the other way around... Maybe there's already medics that got out, anyways." She hums and nods again, following Peri so she can (very gently!) place a hand on his not-bad shoulder.

"Let me scout ahead. I want you to evacuate, but if we get in another fight, something bad might happen. Let me check if the way out is safe, then escape while I take care of the threat. I'm better when I'm the hunter." She smiles. After that show she put on, it'd be hard to doubt her when she seems so sure of herself. "Just tell me which way 'out' is and let me work, okay?" Once she has it pointed out for her- and she refuses to take 'no' for an answer- she hunches over and prepares for a quick and quiet sneak through the base in Stealth mode. This is her ELEMENT now, danger-close situations where she only has herself and her surroundings to worry about. It's also dredging up memories of when she was taken off-duty for... being in her element. Too in her element for her systems, and maybe for innocents, too.

She sneers a little to herself and shakes it off. "Need to focus..."
