FYC v1.8.5 is in early access for supporters. (links: Patreon / substar)
it'll go public on NG next week.

New since last update: (v1.8.2)
New champions: Neeko, KDA Akali, Xayah + costumes for Orianna & Kalista.
new eye expression suite (shocked, stunned, ahegao, bloodshot, light power, corruption, etc) w/ hand-picked states on everyone + set orgasm and KO faces. Virginity + short deflowering animations & body effects. a new set of ombre haircolours (look near the rainbow set), switcharoo for quick-swapping certain poses, all-the-way-through for orianna's body, one new huge-size glass partner and some UI clarity fixes (more popup info and hid most of the confusing cheat-locked features)

Fixes:
cum expressions resetting on scene-move, various looping bugs, size prefs working in reverse, reowrked the foot mess button, gang backdoor action goes deeper & loads of graphical glitches -- purple lipstick for oral, nipples taking clothes colours, hooves reappearing on rub, soraka's tattoo with butt sizes, skin colours for hooves and tidied up floating cock mess for certain partners.

this is the final planned version of FYC for now (other than fixes)
we'll get back onto the main project after the public version goes live.

Cum shots do take a chunk of the bar down, but it seems to fill back up faster to compensate... its weird.

I must have fudged a number somewhere and it looks like the rest counter is ticking way faster than it ought to.. should be easy to fix once I track it down.
(god, I wish I left more notes when I first wrote these sections of code..)

as for the size prefs, I guess theres some structuring to be done, because it looks like my defaults are pointing the wrong way
I'll have another tinker.

I liked the random pick dj sona, but yeah.. I guess I could make it cycle after you've made the first pick. easy!

that's been like that since forever, hasnt it?
and theres a reason for it too, kinda. theres a system to deal with different sizes that pulls back the big boys, and moves the little ones forward. it's disabled for oral though, because most of the action needs to happen around the head (and not half way into her stomach with the dragon..)
fixing it could turn into a nightmare though, cuz it'd mean moving him in/out with a whole lotta conditionals and it'll be pretty easy to get some of the vars mixed up

not impossible though, cuz luckily it'll only need to happen for small size, and I'm pretty sure I already removed the 'all the way out' section of the turbo pose randomizer
so, it's just a few catches on the connecting speeds, something when changing partners and a lil bit of fixer for the cum pose where it does the whole lot

I can kinda see what you're getting at there, but the answer there is a little more muddied
the bar you're reading shows the raw input data of how close you are to the 'hot-spot' speed, but theres a whole lot of behind-the-scenes tweaks I did in the last few updates to make things a lot more forgiving / less frustrating
yeah, it probably should have been overhauled with the rest of it to make sure everything lines up, and its all on me for forgetting about it.. buuuuuuuuuut that's something I dont wanna risk breaking while I'm trying to move onto the next project

My inner conspiracy theorist can't help but think the shitty customer support may have something to do with patreon being run by some anti porn douchebags... Wouldn't be surprised if issues with NSFW pages get lower priority than others.

finally got back in and updated the downloads for FYC 1.8.5 fix #2 -- https://www.patreon.com/posts/fuck-your-v1-8-5-29010165

and tried out the mini oral fix as well..
code worked perfectly, but it's the pose that isnt holding up.
he slips out entirely on most of the draws while her lips stay locked around thin air. (and it looks especially weird with how I had them bulging out around the edge of his helmet..)
so that had to get canned.
ought to be fine though. I mean, you're the first one to mention it in ... however long its been now :?

turns out half the woopsie was on me, and lucky thing too, because they didnt show any signs of interest.
as for lower priority, I wouldnt even go that far. theres always been big names kicking off fuss about this that and the other, whilst the team doesnt bat an eyelash at anyone. we're all on the ground floor.

Corta, sorry to lurk around here, but I can't send PMs it seems and this is your most active thread. A couple of years ago I started to make a game on Unity porting your template in the process. We talked a litte about it on the template thread. The thing is, life happened and I had to put my pet project on hold but now I resumed it and just read from your patreon the assets are not open anymore. So, as I wouldn't want to go through you and maybe sometime in the future try to release a demo and take you by surprise, Am I still allowed to work with your assets? Edit: Tried out a little your swf. The UI looks fine. Right now too much is left to the imagination with the rectangles, but I know you can make wonders with Flash. By the way, as I think I said before on the dead thread and looking that you are on the design/prototype phase of your new game or series of games. If you need help either learning the ropes or porting stuff to Unity, just ask. I work with Unity on a daily basis and I already, somewhat successfully, ported the template using Anima2D and right now the 2D animation package of Unity is on par with that and is still in development. I can at least give advice.

so wait, this is the fabled Glorified Gallery Mode? is it finally happening?

from what little we can see in this demo, it's looking good. however, these stats at the top seem to indicate that animations will be of limited, kinda like in the og Zone flashes, where upon reaching climax, you were locked into the climax animation. Is that going to be toggleable?

OR, if this is just a part of something bigger, then disregard everything I said.

there's plans for multiple finishes, instead of just slapping creampies onto every pose.
so, that'll include moving for facials, hand/mouth action, or the ol' withdraw & fire-hose combo.
for the guy, he's gonna be able to cum after you get him to 100, but the stat will (secretly?) go up higher, until it hits bursting point.

call it game-ey, realistic or whatever, but I think part of making good sex is being able to portray 'bad' sex too. so there'll be an element of mastery in getting close enough and finishing how you want to.
..and maybe I'm weird, but I kinda like the idea of 'losing it' if you miss the timing, and either having to build back up with a fap/handjob, or having your partner helplessly (and even unceremoniously) blowing his load inside.
there's gonna be stats for male stamina, and I hope that'll lead to different approaches to each encounter.
pleasing a 'weak' male will be more about managing arousal and keeping him in check, and strong wham-bam sessions will be about keeping up and doing a good job.

so, for the main game, I want to lock it down like that.
but if a multiplayer version ever becomes a reality, then all the stats would be disabled and everything'll be fully player controlled

no problem, and I guess this gets you another step closer to leaving the starter club too ;)

and as for the template inquiry..
it's true that I've pulled support on them. with game after game of abandonware and fake cash-ins, they've got an awful legacy hanging over them. ..one that I'm fully responsible for adding to..
it's been really bad this last year or so, fans from several knockoff games would come to me with their hearts broken and their pitchforks raised, when dev after dev takes the money and runs..
sure, there was that little rule of 'dont sell it', but that was before the age of patreon. I wasnt really around, but Iit's still on me for not making a stand on that before anything got out of hand.

not that the rules really mattered to them anyway. the sheer amount of people who never gave a single shred of credit was amazing.
and I dont say that for any selfish reasons either. they're not just burying my name, but everyone else who helped to make it possible.
so much time and effort has been put into those sprites .. it was once a symbol of hope for this community .. once.

I really tried to make it work though,
I've given my blessing a few times since to certain people, but I've been burned more times than I can even count
I've.. just gotten so tired of it all

so naturally, because I never know when to give up, I wanted to try again.
I'll do it myself.
one last chance to try to treat them right and wipe away that stain.



I hope you'll forgive the monologue, but that's some of what it's been like behind the scenes, and the reason I'd like to hold onto them from now-on.

thanks for the offer. the december 2020 death-clock is drawing near, but the future of flash is still up in the air ..
the current plan is crossing my fingers for someone launching a compatible program (which isnt as unlikely as it sounds, flash will still leave a sizable hole in the market -- also, adobe doesnt -own- vector graphics or anything ..I dont think..)
or there's waiting for a new future-proof local flash player (newgrounds is working on something right now), or even just a vector importer for any game engine would be swell.

and even if all those fall through, I know that actionscript can be converted to C# pretty easily, so building into unity later shouldnt be too rough.
..having said that though, call me back if I'm freaking out around this time next year :?

those are all placeholders, and about half of that stuff wont even be visible later.

I spent about two weeks on that demo, and I wasted the first half on UI designs that were thrown out right away.
y'know, best-laid plans and all that..
so now, I figure I'll just build it all first, then design the hud around everything once it works.

I understand completely. Can at least use it to develop a demo? It's gonna take me a long time anyways and sooner or later I'm going to need an artist to take over, because I need everything else: the male, the items, the not copyrighted equipment, the backgrounds, etc. Currently I'm still designing some parts and I haven't done any animation or imported more art from flash. I just need something to sell it in forums and the like looking for said artist. I just feel like without something visual, is going to be very difficult to get someone interested and I'm definitely no artist to do it myself. I'm asking all this in a public place for the same reason, I don't want to be shady about it or anything, much less going to Patron without art or your bless, if that happens anyways, because I have time now but I don't really know in some months and I work on Unity for my RL job I might get burned out from time to time.

You probably can port the math, but there is lot of things where Flash and Unity are different too. The animation systems, the patterns behind the engine, everything works different. You are right that is going to leave a space in the market but most businesses are porting things over either to html5 or some game engine, at least where I am. I hope it works out for you, just pointing it out because you are in the stage where you could change your mind without major consequence.

Ooooh, and with the UI I meant, at least with the tooltips you get what each button does. I know it looks chaotic right now, with the stats crossed out and all that.

I'd say you've got the wrong mindset there. (..and I'm not just saying that because I'd prefer you didnt..)

turns out that I give this little bit of advice pretty often, actually..
so.. if it's a game you're trying to build, then the graphics are nothing but a distraction -- if your project can't stand on it's concept, and someone else's art is the only thing holding things together, then that's a pretty good sign you havent got any real ideas.

I mean, you've just seen me build a game prototype with coloured boxes. don't say you cant manage that..

new models, even if it's just a remake, will always mean animating from scratch. theres nothing new there.
as for webpage, there's swf to html5 converters already. they're a little lacking right now when it comes to games, but it's a real good sign that it's more than possible.

I've taken a look at a few unity animation plugins, but I havent found any that really sit right.
it's gotta.. 1- not be skeleton-rig based (those always look so floaty. frames are so much cleaner), 2- allow for skews, bending & 3d-rotate, 3- can handle variable tween eases & curves, and 4- can handle live sprite updates
I havent asked around that much, but if anyone knows something that fits the bill, that'll be pretty neat :)

anyway, I'll think take my time before throwing the real models into the demo, and yeah, I'll take a proper look around before I fully commit to an engine.

I expressed myself poorly or you got me wrong here. I'm making my GDD, UIs, etc., without involving the art. What I was trying to say, as I'm nobody, if I post a demo or screenshots of a bunch of menus, no action, just numbers changing; no one will stop to take a look. Your case is very different you have people that follows you and your work. So, having some art as placeholder would have been handy for me to increase the number of people that could take a look and get interested in the project, again, looking for an artist that can take over and do everything from scratch. But ok, I got the point on not using them anymore, my offer still stands on the Unity help nonetheless.

If you can concede on 1, Spine is probably the best there is, the downside is that you animate outside of Unity, so afaik you have to go back to Spine to update the animation or sprite and import back. A lot of projects are done with it unless the animations are done solely with sprites.

The two solutions inside Unity right now, again with no 1 are Anima2D(going out, support is given for existing projects) and the replacement, the 2D packages of Unity, right now they have the same features I think, but the later is still being developed trying to get to Spine level. When I started my project the packages were not even released I think, so I kept going with Anima2D. From a try right now: from 2 it can do the 3d-rotation. Skews and bending I hadn't seen until I opened Flash and the template. Unity includes frames and you can use curves between them, so 3 is covered, if I understood what you meant, and 4 too, that's how you equip/change/unequip clothes, change hairs, etc.

use that imagination and creativity, you!

but, my point still stands..
customization on it's own, no-matter how fantastic, doesnt make a game. (for example.. the template itself)

like.. if you took a look at half the junk on patreon, you'd see game after game of elegant 3D models with the same set of extravagant sliders to change every little thing down to armpit wrinkles
..but you'd also see that their last posts were made over a year ago, and they've all got zero backers behind them
it's not new, and it's not-that- impressive .. but most importantly, there isnt a single game idea in there yet.

now, if you've got something amazing up your sleeve and you're looking for a way to convey that, we can probably do some discord or mails about it if you reeeeally wanna (welcome to 10-club, btw)
but if not, I'd probably just end up repeating myself..

You are right, character customization is an element I want in my game, but is not the game per se, I can even wait on that, I was just taken aback when, resuming the project, I went to check your Patreon and read the news on the template, I'm glad I did it now and not after I did the animations :lol:.

As learning, because what I do remains distant from larger game projects, I'm trying to basically "upgrade" Slave Maker/Jack o nine tails/Insert your slave trainer game here, with animations, a hopefully better battle system and some dungeon exploring. I'm not copying anything besides the basic ideas, I'm taking my time with the game design and I programmed some things to not get bored writing, plus I had to check that I could take the template from Flash to Unity so I didn't have surprises down the road. I set on 2D as is cheaper and I can even do some props myself and make decent animations with bones and IK. I don't have deadlines or plans to go to Patreon on a foreseeable future, but that doesn't mean I don't want to make a decent good looking game.

Thank you for your input, I can pm now if you end up using Unity in the future I can help out. The template was great to learn about 2d rigging, animations and other things, I can test things out with the doll I've made but not a sole screenshot will come of it.
