"Oh, there's another source of information Chris, we must investigate. It seems our scaly friend here is too timid to discuss his past." Azalea continues to prod you. Well, it seems that the distasteful elf woman did not go and spew your secrets to her fellow. These two are noble elves, Loren recalls that much, but the elf woman is a stranger. She worked on resurrecting you, which implies a certain level of life magic mastery, which while favored by the elves, is not their preference. They tended to prefer... what was it, continuous effects and such? Her way of speaking was also very different, callous and curt, rather than the joyful or mischievous aspect you'd expect.
She smiles as you ask about talking to Vicky, but seems to notice something and file it away. Did you say something? "But you must tell us about your adventures!" She says, grabbing you by the bicep and giving it a squeeze, "Oh, my Chris, come feel this!" She says running her hands up and down your arms.
Spoiler (click to show/hide):
I think I'm going to have her push a bit.
Sure, I was planning on various racial biases toward specific magics. I was thinking elves would favor continuous enchantments and altering active effects of magic, ie: where the magic is sent somewhere in a bundle to act the way that Talren's ice shield does and such. They were also going to have better control and senses than humans. Also, there's more than one level of modification, Valkyrization is a 'full body' upgrade that makes Amazons considerably more powerful. Even without magic, an Amazon is an peak athlete that can fight above her weight class. After, she's edging past the limits of what a human can actually do physically, on top of her enhanced magical abilities. There's just a few dozen of them per generation most of the time.
That's what I was thinking, hence why I didn't think he'd want nanotech upgrades.
I'm having her file it away for later dredging.
