It is a sad fact of human nature that what the OP describes as "reluctant" is hella arousing for some people to watch. So much so that it was a key element of early porno and remains a potent meme to this day. Just like nobody in porn has to worry about STDs, the orgasm has to involve a cumshot or it didn't happen, and all pool cleaners have the iron body of Hercules.

I think most of the people on this forum- certainly the programmer types- are smart enough and mature enough to recognize this for what it is. It's a conceit of the artform. It's a trope. It does seem that she starts off reluctant, but gets more willing and enjoys it more as it goes on. She seems to legitimately enjoy the Make Out, Sucking the General's Dick, and definitely the drench.

I think there should be a button. Every time you press the button, Krystal's expression changes between disgust, fear, anger, happiness, slutty, or horny. This way the player can decide how she feels about all this. After all, right now she just looks confused.

Although if you are coerced into having sex as the only means of attaining freedom from slavery, that is viewed as a form of rape as well, just more of a rape-by-threat than a rape-by-holding-down type, the subtler kind that does not jump out a people as being as obvious.

Reluctant and rape are not mutually exclusive things, reluctance is what often leads people to withhold or withdraw consent, so if it is done to them in that state, it is rape.

If they begin to participate after enjoying it, it was still rape, and the past act remains rape, but from the point where they begin to enthusiastically consent, the sex from then on is not rape.

Seeing as how the entire theme of the game is that she is enslaved or trapped though, unless there is some ending where she is free of those factors and THEN has sex, I am inclined to technically classify all the sex as rape.

Hmmm. I was wondering how long it would take for this debate to start.

Unfortunately, this is only a game, stories, or artwork in a "fictional world". Bare in mind, many stories like Gone with the Wind and such also have rape implied and such in their stories, but we consider them classic literature. Now I'm not saying I'm pro rape, but I think we should think about really what we take out of it then what it has in it. If we learn nothing from this debate, then let us learn that we are not excluded from being in the rape category.

Secondly, we should know that rape is not a good thing and we should also know rapists will get their dues in the end. No man, woman, or anything living is above the law of death.

Thirdly, I oppose the application of real rape, both the light taken and the down right dark side of it, However it doesn't mean I'm not a person who is willing to oppose it through role play. I find that those who do rape should be punished justly by the law, but if it's something to "Spice up" your love life, what happens behind your bedroom doors is your choice, so long as it's consented.

Now do I think Krystal is being raped in the game, Well depends, you ever see Gorepete's work for LOK vG? you do pick how Krystal reacts. And ever Read Yawgs "Legend of Renamon and Jenny"? But again this a fictional character, who's cannon story-line is also altered in the Starfox games, so if nothing else this is more altered realities that if you have a problem with, just change the slider channel and never come back, it's all up to you.

Most likely it starts off as disgust and reluctancd before moving on to acceptance and tolerance due to her circumstances. Along the way she could end up just enjoying it and not caring that much anymore.

I see it as reluctant acceptance with a few rapes thrown in, but it very much boarders on being all rape depending on your perspective. Coerced sex after a kidnapping doesn't really stop being a rape once the victim gets Stockholm syndrome or the resolve to put up with your sexy "Saw" trap to freedom.
