[Earthling]

The thugs nodded and after loading everything onto their quite frustrated boss, including a scroll, they plumped down on the ground, and the woman clearly unused to needing to carry anything by herself walked up to Alex "He-Here you go Honored Sir."

[Reaperbones]

Alex was internally relieved that this whole thing was going so well. The girl closed the distance and he spoke. "Alright then, go ahead and sit down for a minute while I read this."
Alex waited until she was seated to take the scroll. He kept his blade pointed at her as incentive to keep the guards where the were. He opened the scroll and read while keeping them inside his vision.

[Earthling]

The document seemed legit... Though, there was something off about it. The duration of the indenture and the conditions were too loose. Whoever owned this contract was basically free to do what they pleased with the girl, for a timespan that was way too long. Either, the girl was a truly terrible negotiator, or she was one of the unfortunate victims of bandits that forged these contracts and sold them illegally.

[Reaperbones]

Alex looked at the document with scrutiny before speaking to the potential victim. "Well time to get your side of the story. Don't worry, you can consider yourself under protective custody, so even if someone is threatening you, you don't have to worry we'll handle them. So did you sign this contract willingly?"
Alex kept his eyes on the lady and bodyguards the whole time he was speaking.

[Earthling]

"N-Not really..." The young woman whimpered as she hid behind the knight, eyeing the three others as she spoke "My family was in debt... and bandits wanted tribute... So I was sold off to them, then they sold me to her via a middle man."

[Reaperbones]

Alex listened to her story and then looked at the lady. He spoke as her held the contract out. "Is that true ma'am? Don't bother trying to lie, you either be honest with me or I take it to the magistrate."

[Earthling]

"I bought it from an acquaintance! She's the one who's lying, and even if she wasn't, how would I know it would be fake?!" The lady spoke up, panic in her voice as she glanced around, as if looking for someone to rescue her from this situation

[Reaperbones]

Alex tapped the woman's chin with the blunt side of his blade to get her to focus on him. He spoke with a deadly calm. "Panic isn't a sign that someone is telling true. Tell you what, how about you dismiss those two thugs and we go discuss this in private. My arm is getting tired and my options are to either incapacitate you all or call for more guards and wait. I'm not very patient right now."

[Earthling]

The lady hurriedly waved the thugs away and they rushed out of the alley "W-Well... I g-got my office in this building over here." She stammered forth as she approached a wooden door, gesturing towards it

Alex gave her a nod and sheathed his blade. He spoke to the scared girl as he reached a hand down to help the lady. "Alright grab those weapons for me. We'll discuss how we're going to handle this inside. Oh and what's your name?"
After he helped the lady to her feet he spoke. "So can I get your name before we begin this discussion?"

[Earthling]

The indentured girl murmured "Aisha, Sire..." whilst the lady in red sighed as she approached and opened the door, and music, giggling and moans flooded out "I'm Salaia Reto, owner of this establishment."
Inside was what could only be a brothel. Unlike the earlier establishment Alex visited with his fellow guardsmen, which seemed to primarily serve as a casino and theatre, this was a bordello at first sight. With men and women engaging in lechery behind silken draperies, and private rooms for those that wanted a bit extra.

Alex took a quick sweep of the room before urging Salaia forward with his hand on her back. He spoke as he followed her with his hand on the hilt of his blade. "So Aisha, what was your job here? She said your ruined merchandise?"

[Earthling]

"A-Ah... I was serving tea to clients... Expensive tea, and sweets... And I dropped it... Spilling it over him." Aisha mumbled ashamed "Tripped on a pillow."
"Damn right she did." Salaia muttered as she led them towards a stairway up, catching curious glances as they walked "My office is on the top floor."
The second floor seemed to be where most of the private rooms, and thus, the bedrooms of the more expensive workers laid, and above that, the stairs led into a luxurious apartment/office "Well, this is where I live and work."

Alex followed her, letting himself take quick glances, finally realizing that his monstrous libido was returning after that lovely play. He wanted to mentally lecture himself for being such a horn dog, but then he remembered that he only got a few days a month to do this. The rest were spent solving crimes and risking his life for the Empress. Once they were in Salaia's office her spoke. "Alright so I'm aiming for a win win here. Aisha do you have anywhere to go if you leave here?"

[Earthling]

"N-Not really..." Aisha murmured, shaking her head "Don't have any money to go home."

[Reaperbones]

Alex found himself a chair and sat down. He nodded and spoke as he turned to Salaia. "So ma'am what's her value to you? You obviously spent money on her, but was she worth it to you? Would you give her up or fight to keep her?"

[Earthling]

"She's already more trouble than she's worth." Salaia scowled as she took a seat by her desk and crossed her long luscious legs "Do what you want with her, just as long as you understand I thought the contract was legit. I'm a victim too you know!"

[Reaperbones]

Alex got up and moved around behind Salaia. He began massaging her shoulders while he spoke. "Actually I was thinking that maybe you should keep her. Maybe as a slave with a better contract or maybe as an official worker. That way you don't really lose anything and you gain her loyalty, and she also gets her freedom and a job so she can live. What do you think ma'am?"

[Earthling]

"Tsk..." He feels how she first Tenses up, but soon relaxes as he touches her "She ain't a slave... That would be way more illegal... But I guess we could... Look into arranging a more legal contract."

[Reaperbones]

Alex indicated for Aisha to come over to him as he continued massaging Salaia's shoulders. He spoke with a smile. "Well maybe you'll also give her something of a promotion. I mean you did nearly punish her wrongly because of a lack of knowledge. Maybe you could use an assistant."
Alex looked at Aisha and spoke. "Aisha why don't you join me in trying to get her to relax. It might be good for you to show any skills you have."
