Roughly half of the pictures that are porn I have are tentacle or bestiality, but if I were to find someone that actually loved bestiality for real, actual sex with animals, I'd be like "uh yeah, that's incredibly bizarre" (and creepy). Same with furry stuff, I like the fantasy of it, but if I were to meet someone that wore something more than cat ears (there's someone local that wears them all the time, I think it's cute) I'd most likely be slowly stepping away from the person. Why? Fantasy suggests I'd love it, but reality, actual reality, suggests that the person is way more into the fantasy than I am and I'm uncomfortable about it. I don't think there's anything wrong at all with you being petrified of furry stuff because the reality disturbs you. The fantasy part is fine, the reality part is not. Am I making sense?
You're making perfect sense to me at least, that is pretty much my opinion on the matter.
For me, I enjoy the things like bestiality, a dash of furry and those kind of things so much precisely because they are so... well, detached from reality? (that sounds really awkward, but in lack of a better word...)
I mean, the realistic, "normal" stuff is something one can experience, so I don't really have too much of an interest in that online.
All the other fun stuff that only looks good in animation or pictures on the other hand.... now that tickles my fancy
So to go back to the real life part:
Meeting someone who shares these interests to chat with in real life would probably be really fun, but meeting someone who takes it a step further and runs around in a fursuit or the likes.... I'd pass on that. It's just... taking it a step too far.
Some things are so much nicer when imagined.
Exaggerated pillow talk one reads in some novels belongs in that category as well now that I think about it, heh.
Anyways, I'm not quite sure what I stumbled upon here, but this thread sure feels like a tavern I used to keep track of.

A sip, anyone?
