If only. :P

Val is doing good work but the process has been slow, even non-existence at times, due to hurdles he's had to overcome. Slowly but surely we're getting there.

Hi. Why don't you create a Trello? With this anyone here can see how's going the development.

No need to post a lot of images. You can just post things like "We are coding X", "We are beginning to code Y", "We finished Z"

Just do let everyone knowing the pace of the development.

(Sorry if anything sounded confuse. English is not my language. I can understand it pretty well, writing it is not the same thing for me.)

For we already have a discord .... for the few patreons we have that have trust in us.

As far as pacing, about the same as most big games here, slow
I might not create games, but I will test them, Then I will give advice on what I think needs to be added, removed, or improved.

I truly hope that this project doesn't get abandoned or something. Out of all of the alternatives, this one seems to be one that has a proper story and doesn't really focus purely on sex. That makes it my favorite really. Plot with porn mixed in is ideal for my tastes.

I once read a post by someone (or perhaps it was their signature) that said "If you want to make a good porn game, don't make a porn game. Make an actual game with porn in it." I kept that saying close to home as I feel the same as you: plot with porn mixed in.

But the players will never have to worry about this being abandoned. Progress will be slow at times, in some instances it will even be unmoving due to any number of reasons. But the Pokemorph won't be abandoned.

Speaking of sayings... Reminds me of a saying I heard before too.
"Be not afraid of moving slowly. Be afraid only of standing still."

As long as progress is made at least a little bit and it doesn't stall out completely. By the way, just out of curiosity, any idea roughly how high of levels this game is going to end up at for 'endgame'? I know the final evolution/move learn is at level 22 unless you've changed that. And I suppose theoretically if you abuse certain things it is possible for your pokemon to go up an infinite amount of levels off of letting a wild pokemon farm yours in a fight and reviving them etc.

All that will be in the past, this will be more close to actual pokemon games. With pokemorphs will evolve and learn moves at their correct times. Wild pokemon should not be getting exp. any more. That was one of the main reasons we swapped engines for we could no go into Humbird0's engine are selves and try and fix it.

As for end game levels. I am not sure yet, we will all find out when the game finishes.

Also I'm a little confused. Which is the latest version of this anyway? one of the things say latest is 1.62, your patreon says 2.0, and the thread topic says 1.63

Level 100 is likely the goal, to reflect the actual games.

Latest one is 1.63, which is in the main post.

In humbird's version, the level cap is actually 20. All evolutions and all moves come before that. My plans for the new engine include a level cap of 50, which you should be approaching by the time you reach end game, but as in the original games, you won't be required to actually be at level cap to finish it. And as deadman said, pokemorphs will have moves they can learn at different levels but will have more moves to learn than they can use at any one time, so you'll have to choose a move set from what's available. I don't know if we'll be using the full contingent of 1st-to-3rd-gen moves, but we'll have enough to give you the same kind of flavor.
I'm not mad. I'm only forty and eighty percent crazy, and that's split between two personalities, which makes me almost half sane.

Don't really know, my guess will be a half a year or so after we got the engine finished and release the first part. But I am not sure, we do believe we can move faster with this engine when finished, but building the engine takes take, we currently have two people working on it of whom include Val, while two more will be jumping back in mid may when collage wraps up for the spring semester.

I personally do say sorry that it has been a very long time from when we last released things but the wait will be worth it in the end.

Sorry for the delay in response, that is the end of the game at the moment. There has been a huge gap between updates do to use moving to a new game engine do to re-occuring bugs that we can't fix, We are getting closer and closer to releasing a demo of the new engine before the end of this summer.

Sorry to ask this, but did you remove some scene? Because I can't find the scene after saving the Spearow in the cave. After the Pokemon Virus thing. I might've thought that you deleted it for some reasons. So, is it true, or is it just me lost?

Remember me? Maybe you don't but that doesn't matter. I once made a willow fanart and to remind you guys there is still community supporting this project, I made another quick one with my poor mouse skills ;)
