Emmerzail: RPG Maker VX Hentai Game (Updated: Nov 21st 2021)

I was so excited - I love this game and have been playing it for years now. However, for some reason saves for me aren't compatible from 0.60 to this version. Man - after all the hours don't really want to restart and try to play all routes (I had a full CG gallery)...Anyone else see this or is it just a hosed download? Tried downloading and unzipping twice...

Adding - the game works fine. It's just imported saves from older versions won't work. It's depressing seeing and empty CG gallery and a washed out Continue icon...

@hoboy: Pretty sure I didn't make the old saves incompatible with the update. Can you post screenshot of what happens when you load old saves? Also, the CG saves is in different file than the Saves folder. (CG.save)

The possibility of saving before the end, just after the last boss, would have been nice.

Because there, we will have to start the fight again at the next update of Sera.

Ah sorry I didn't make it clear but after the final boss battle, you can select no when prompted to credit screen and you can save.

As stated, doesn't matter if I use the old CG.save or the new one, old saves will not work either way - acts like they aren't there...

PS - why are these saves .ris files? It's the only game I have with this type of file type...just wondering...

PPS - could someone share a working (for them) save file for me to test? This really doesn't make sense - it's like my system stopped recognizing this file type...

Put the save files in Saves folder. I used a custom save system so it is different from the usual RPG Maker VX save.

anyone got saves for where the new content starts as i had the last game version but lost all my game saves when i got new computer... i mean i will play it all over again if i have to just wanted to ask first thanks for any replies or help

I'm redrawing my old artworks for Emmerzail prologue and early game scenes which has art that needs to be improved. At least the prologue art will be replaced in the next update!

@Raio, sorry even I don't have saves from where the new content starts because I played it to test new events and I often overwrite saves. I will replace old art in the prologue for the next update though so you might want to play again when it's out.

I just reinstalled VX even though .65 worked just fine, and .70 ran without a hitch.

After coming back to the game I have to say that its as good as I remember
But I have a small question: why the character status is evil in sonjas route ?

Because I didn't reset the alignment during extra routes. If Sonja's alignment is evil, it's because Sera route's alignment is evil.

You know the moment when you forget about something that you followed? You know when it's been just a few years...just a few.

The last version of this game that I played was Emmerzail V.0.15(Incomplete) right after it had come out. Still have it on my ancient hd.
Looking forward to seeing what 0.7(and further) has to offer and I'm glad to see that the game has managed continue despite the massive setbacks.
