The final story release of Snow Daze will come out near Christmas time. It will definitely have day 5 and voice acting up to day 4, although it may not have day 5 voice acting until January. That will be the end of the game. Thanks a bunch for everyone from these forums that helped me go over the years.

The Legend of Krystal community has been really nice letting me in and stay. I enjoyed Playshapes games back in the day and I'm glad to see this place has become so big and influential over the years. I hope it stays a great place to be for many more.

Hey all, I wanted to make a comprehensive update post so you all can see everything we're doing! First things first, Snow Daze is going to put out its final story update THIS MONTH for patrons! These are a few previews of the art we're working on now to put into the next release! We're also working on Day 4 and Day 5's voice acting and will try to get a 100% complete release done this month if we can.

This version is a huuuge update! It has over 50 new CG's, the story is around 70k words long before the coding and there is FULL voice acting for the entire game! This includes an expansion with all of day 5, hours of new voice acting and five "good" endings as well as a bunch of enhancements overall!



This is NOT the final release - we'll be doing polish releases to add even more art, polish up any pics that aren't perfect and iron out any bugs over coming months. This is however the release with full story and voice acting for the entire game.



The minimum requirement to play is currently being set at 4gb of RAM.



We will make an android version soon! For now we have PC, Mac, and Linux builds as usual.

I was able to play the previous public version smoothly with just 3 GB (I have a 32-bits Windows 7 system, so it doesn't recognize my 4 GB). Are you sure that a Ren'py game cannot be run with less than 4 GB? It sounds overkill to have to use a more powerful machine to run it. Have you added animations or something like that?

Anyway that it's not the most important thing, but there is still a good number of people with 32-bits systems out there. Just something to keep in mind, in my opinion.

It's overkill. We're still refining some stuff - we're definitely doing things that bog standard VN's don't do in order to improve quality and do different things, though.

Some quick notes: This version should not have the various memory errors, you will need to start a new save. The gallery is still bugged for some people with not all pictures unlocking properly. We're working on it! There is now an android build of the game, so now you can enjoy it anywhere.

Weird thing happened towards the end. I usually prefer playing games with a soundtrack all of my own (usually random songs I like mixed up and played back to back), and at the time I was going through each of the branching paths to get each girl's ending. When it came to Jane's end confrontation, there was all this talk about how that working through that final dialogue tree was like a fight between the PC and Jane. Just as that pretext was out of the way and I had to start making dialogue choices, Persona 5's "Rivers in the Desert" began to play all of a sudden and played so perfectly with things that by the time I successfully worked my way through and "won" the song ended.

It was pure happenstance, but that unexpected soundtrack for the dating-sim equivalent to a final boss made it surprisingly intense and made everything seem way more awesome than a guy talking his brainwashed, twin sister into becoming his eternal sex slave probably should be.

Anyway, it's always nice to see a game spring up and actually "finish." Getting to be there to see its creation from start to finish is an extra layer of satisfaction as well. Hope your next project turns out as well, whatever it may be.

I'm working on Overwhored 2 right now. I actually put up a bunch of previews a while back on the patreon. It's early pre-production stuff for the most part at the moment, but we're working on a really awesome game in the future.

Yes. You need to get every ending first, then you can unlock the harem ending.

Tip: Just create a save before you choose someone, after finishing each ending, just go back to your save and play the others, then you'll unlock the harem ending.

Thanks, I got it. So after playing through the whole game, I like the fetishes, I like the artwork, but I gotta be honest, I really don't like the writing. It's just not engaging (to me), and even in the various endings I was skipping past most of what they were saying. I'd have to go back and replay it to pin down why, but yeah, that's my quick and dirty review.

Edit: I played through and picked all the correct choices somehow, and gotta say I loved it. Though I apparently missed some scenes so would love a walkthrough to find the rest of the scenes to unlock

This is going to be a weird thing to say on a porn game, but Jane had some actually good voice acting. I was impressed. Or maybe she's just more into it than all the others. Either way she's the one I thought did the best VA wise. Also felt the most sorry for her. Kira had the best scene with the thighjob though, but Jane was my favorite overall mostly due to the excellent voice work. A good game overall.

One minor detail I think could help the game, would be a better hint at how to achieve the true ending. It's not a big deal since most people are probably going to find the spilled beans anyway... but if they can figure it out for themselves I
think it would be better. Personally I gave up on trying to find it and it wasn't until I checked up on the thread that I realized all i had to do was reload a save.

Played this early on, and loved it. With the fully-voiced release, this is an incredible piece of work.

The voice acting is really, really good. It covers a wide range of situations and emotions appropriately, helping build context for the character as well as amplifying the H-Scenes. I agree Jane is a standout, which I feel might be due to her relationship. It's a very emotionally nuanced situation, and her voice acting reflects that.

The H-Scenes are very hot.

The fact that this is made available for free is very impressive, and I'm inclined to move some of my XXX spending to your patreon.
