Summary: You take the role of a man in his late twenties/early thirties, who is head-over-heels in love with Karen. After a blissful eight months together, you are ready to propose to her. One day, however, you stumble upon a secret she had kept hidden from you. Your choices will determine how the secret affects you, your perception of Karen and the state of your relationship from now on.

This is a 70,000 word CYOA written using Twine with the SugarCube format. I would recommend getting the Twine version from MEGA as the story has a better presentation in that format.
There are 7 endings (five of which have two variants each) in total. The story primarily focuses on the relationship between you and Karen and how it finally evolves with your choices - so there is no "right" order of choices for the player to guess.

This was a lovely choose-your-ending story.

The only problem I had was that there was one point (node "JakobArrives4") where I interpreted the choices differently than how the subsequent text turned out. Fortunately, rewinding made that not a problem.

Do you mind expanding on where your interpretation of the choices was different than the text? I'm guessing it's the choices after Sarah says: "It’s very liberating, for us at least." I just want to know if I wasn't clear enough.

I think the things that misled me were

“2. It’s a little difficult to come to terms with it.” and 4. [...] “I just feel odd wanting your feet more than hers”

. For the former, it felt more hesitant than it turned out to mean. For the latter, perhaps I didn't pay enough attention to the first (unquoted) sentence in that choice.

Maybe I've just made up a distinction in my mind between "of course it's ok to enjoy specific other partners people in specific ways" and the fetishes that are endings #s 6 and 7.

Hmm, I see what you mean. Choice 2 is not as descriptive as it could have been and Choice 4's meaning is affected by Sarah's speech beforehand. I'll make a note to rephrase those better. Thanks! I'm still waiting on other suggestions before I edit the story. The last thing I want to do is spam message boards with a new version where all I've done is shift a few words around.
