Kazim heard Kirin's call and looked up, only to see her overtake him. He smiled. The girl had incredible talent. She grumbled, and sped up even more; hoping there'd be a hatch or something in the roof that would allow her to get in quick.

Kazim was racing through the streets, but the mass of people on it slowed him down, while Kirin now got ahead of him, the advance getting larger. Kazim turned around a corner and saw the workshop right down the street. But he could also see Kirin standing on top of the roof directly opposite of the workshop. Right under the edge of the roof, there was a hay stack, high enough to ensure a safe landing, as the roof only was 7 yards high.

Kirin looked around, standing on the edge of the roof. Nowhere to go; the workshop was too far to jump. She grinned when she saw Kazim coming round the corner. "Hey old man! Guess what? Your trickery didn't help you this time, eh? You're about to lose~!" She laughed, doing a little victory dance. Suddenly, she slipped and with a shocked squeak she fell off the ledge, but landed in the hay stack.
A moment later she crawled out of it, her hair, her clothes and her mouth filled with hay. She spit some out, before laughing. "Oh boy, that was so stupid"
Then she realized they were still having a race, and quickly got up. She patted her clothes quickly, before walking up to the door of the workshop.

Kazim reached the workshop only moments later. "That is an odd, but effective landing technique you have there. But still: Congratulations, you've have won, although you fell for the misguide-your-opponent trick in the beginning. But you made that up pretty well. As I said, your mother would be proud of you." he said, smiling and patting her on the back.

Then he openend the door and went into the workshop, with Kirin following him. He noticed Luis sleeping over his work desk, the three vambraces lying finished in front of him. Deciding to wake his friend up, Kazim slammed the door shut with a loud bang.

Luis as soon as he heard the bang fell on the ground, he took out his short blade, as soon as he noticed who was there he slowly got up and holstered his weapon saying "Ah *yawn* it's you my friend I assume your here for the vambraces" slowly Luis sits back down and grabs the vambraces handing them over to Kazim

Kazim grinned at Luis' reaction. "Careful with that short blade, my friend. You might hurt yourself. And yes, I am here for the vambraces." he said, taking them from Luis and putting one on his right arm. "So, how does it work?" he asked him.

Luis yawns again, and says "Don't worry about that the way I modified that I should in a certain way read you movements and easily know when you need it, and a few souls might also have helped with making them being able to read your movements"

"I see..." said Kazim, but in fact, he didn't and lead the gibberish of his friend back to the lack of sleep. Then he noticed Luis' sketches of the vambraces on the table and took a look at them.




Luis' artistic talent was as magnificient as ever and judging from the plans, activating the blade had to do something with muscle contraction. He held up his arm and moved around his hand in a circular motion.

Luis yawns and gets up saying "Now that I have finished these I better continue my other project" slowly he approaches a safe (not the one where he put the vambraces), opening it he takes out a crossbow but with a big number of modifications, on the top seems to be a scope but it still has no lenses, near the line it has many gears seems that those help the user pull the line back into place, on the side is something which looks like a a retangular shaped piece of wood filled with bolts, approaching his desk he lies it down, then he takes out a paper filled with plans for the cross bow and starts drawing

"That is one mangificient piece of work, my friend." he said to Luis. Then he put on the second vambrace to his other arm and tried them both out at once, with the result being even better than the first time. He stepped over to the workbench as well, to have a look at the schematics of the crossbow as well.

Luis continues drawing and says "Yes, yes this cross bow has been modified for rapid reloading *yawn* all I need now are the lenses for a scope" gets up and approaches a shelf he takes out a piece of glass and looks at it

Well I haven't done many tests with it I know it can withstand firing a few shots but right after that I continue working on it" grabs the crossbow and hands it to Kirin saying "Test out, and don't forget to warn me of any change with the crossbow, any mechanical errors" Luis gets up with the small piece of glass the starts to cut it

Kazim looked at Kirin, smiling. "Yes, you'll get the day off. Since I lost to you, I'll fullfil my part of the bet and go shopping with you." Kazim took the third vambrace and gave it to Luis. "Lock it up in your safe. We'll let Kirin get used to the crossbow first." he said.

Kirin grabbed the crossbow and smirked evilly, before nodding. "Your wish is my command, oh Genius mr. Luis! Lets fire this thing a couple hundred times to see what'll break first!" She laughs, before quickly making her way to his backyard, to avoid getting the crossbow taken from her. Once there, she looks for a suitable target to fire upon.
