Just going to say this, having gotten the "true ending" after a long break, I forgot how incredibly silly and funny it is Love the FF4 reference when you fight the final time

Anyone know precisely how to get slimy ending 2? I've tried my best but nothing works and I've been following the reddit guide. I tried saving Joe the tentacle monster and did slime ending to get the spray to start with but everytime the game just sends me to Big D. I wonder if this is just a bug?
