I personally think I'm going to keep the time element in the game and here is why. I think that it is actually more forgiving than other timed mechanics. In Azkabar, the only way for time to advance is when you decide to go to the next day in the real world. Nothing else, not even death, advances time. So theoretically speaking, you could be able to finish the game on day 2 if your motivated enough. Now system wise...it doesn't really conflict with anything. Nothing is unlocked by X days, only by your physical progress made, so if you run out of days, the game just ends. I don't see how that will conflict, but I will definitely keep that in mind.

Funny you talked about the H scenes, because I was just thinking this the other day. I'll rewrite some of the scenes to flow more naturally.

Alright just did the kayly mission and got the 4th trigger to work. Thanks for specifying. As for the time system, fair enough, you do make a good point about the fact that not even death advances time which makes it easier. When i mentioned that it could conflict with other things, i was specifically thinking about the things unlocked by x days aspect along with what I mentioned earlier where if you dont give enough time(which you have as far as i gather), it makes getting all scenes/doing everything stressful in 1 run but the problem is giving too much time. As development progresses, you might decide to add in more than initially planned and as such you would need to redo the time given, you might put in less, meaning adjustment here there etc.

I get that entirely. So here's the thing about the time mechanic. The game ends when you free your soul in Azkabar. Theoretically you could beat the game by day 2...but that requires many hours of grinding, ignoring everything in the real world, and even then you need luck on your side. The the real world serves 2 purposes

1. Hentai
2. Ways to make trip in Azkabar easier.

For example in a future update, there will be a book in the library where you can learn magic. You can't use magic in the real world, but you can in Azkabar. However it takes 3 readings before you learn the new spell (So one full day). Also to ring the 2 bells above the ruins, you need to go past 2 monsters who are spiritually connected to your mom and sister. They are the toughest enemies in the game, but if you max out your stats with Mom and Sarah (Which will take many days to do) then the monster's health will be reduced by 4000 hp, making it easier to kill.

The game is built in mind that it shouldn't take you all 85ish days to complete the game, but if your bad at time management then you will be punished.

Fair enough. I am assuming that the part about the bells above the ruins will be in a future build because if its in the current build, I have no idea how to access those areas. Anyway here you go my dude. Here is another bug/text fix document which if I am correct in assuming that Old Azkabar Ruins is the end of the current alpha, should be all the issues/bugs in the current build alongside Cs issue 1 that i posted before hand.
Just to give you a run down of my current progress, Gotten all current real life events, have completed the berg, met the old biddy. Then gone to the underground via the south cave. Beaten the golden soldier and am camped at the shrine outside. If there is more to Old Azkabar Ruins past the first screen then read the last segment of the document attached. Also I assume the item you find in the real life library is related to the cheat room?

The Bells aren't implemented yet, and there will be more to the Old Azkabar Ruins. Right now we only have level 1, and I plan to have 3 levels to those ruins.

As for the cheat room. I'll just tell you where you can find it. Right outside the house go to the top cone of the very far left of the screen and press it. After that you'll end up in the secret cheat room. Interact with the paper on the wall, type in any of the cheats I've posted on the site before, and enjoy.

Ladies and Gents (but mostly gents), the first Hentai scene has been created!

I'll admit, I hadn't worked much on the game since the last update, but since brontanius kept messaging the page, it gave me the inspiration to work on the first scene! Beyond that I have done some quick fixes, rewrote and re-structured the mom relationship stats, and am working on getting the first part of Sarah's relationship stats in the game.

Since I don't have any more part's of Azkabar finished, but I am kind of due for an update, I'll finish the stuff I have and release it as a Alpha 2.5. Once I have more of the Old ruins built I'll release that as Alpha 3.

1. 3,000 grammar changes. Thanks to brontanius for grammar checking me
2. Bug fixes.
3. 1 new room in the Berg.
4. Re-did Mom corruption. (I just added one more scene, so what ever step you are on just go back one step and repeat it. That should catch you up.)
5. Added Mom HJ. Just go to bed after dinner scene.
6. New conversations with Palados.
7. SarahCorruption scenes. (This one is slightly harder because it requires you to have access to money, which is hard to come by in the game.) (PM me if you need money cheat)

10. General Clean up of game and added images.

(BTW Some bugs I might not be able to fix. brontanius pointed out a bug where enemies sometimes disappear forever. I was able to reproduce,
the bug but I have no idea on how to fix it.)

EDIT

If you have any ideas for good ways to make money in the real world, let me hear your suggestions. My only requirement is that it has to be a viable way of making
money for a kid in 1996. No current moneymaking tricks or tech. Can be as PG to NC-17 as you like.

Got the new build, i do like what has changed. I like the rebalance of mom's scenes and i do like the sister's corruption route so far. 2 things though:
1. In regards to the cheat function thing. I found the turok cheat but even after entering it into the cheat system, I have no idea what it does. You don't need to tell me out right but if you can, can you give me a hint of where to look to see the cheats effect.
2. In regards to the kid earning cash. Maybe if you get the mother's relationship up high enough, you can ask her to let you outside or if you do go outside without her knowledge, you could find an ad for a paperboy. Hmm, another idea is at the library, the librarian could ask the player to mow the outside of it and make it neater in exchange for payment, other than that, there is the shop but dunno if the shop would pay the kid to stack the shelves or something.

Found the Problem, I misspelled Turok in the cheat menu. I fixed it, but it's such a small thing to try to re-upload the entire game for, so for the time being just write "torak". That should show you what the cheat is supposed to do.

I really like the idea of library help, plus it will allow me to build Jacklin's character more for her appearance in Demon Spawn. (Since it's a clone of UXL I'm guessing you can tell who Jacklin is supposed to be.)

Didn't realize fully it was a UXL clone but thanks for clarifying, with that said, yes I can tell who she is supposed to be. Torak is an interesting cheat, I assume im a stegosaurus or something, still think the library one is the best though. Last q for now, is there only 3 cheats in the game thus far that are findable or do I need to do more splorin.

Well more accurately, the characters featured here will be in the sequel which is a uxl clone.

As for cheats there are more indeed. I think i typed down all the other cheats in a post earlier in the forum. But you can always splore more and find them.

So...What has Cheddared grizzly been up to...I'll admit I hadn't made any progress until today.
I'll admit, the final semester of college as well as my works on another project of mine had taken time out of making the game. Today however I thought "Fuck it, I'm done trying to plan time to work on this, I'll just make some maps today" And lode and behold I have made 5 maps in 1 day as well as a new mechanic. I even got the elevator in the Berg working. Even made a couple of things where you can die simply by not being careful with your surroundings.

I want to make 5 more maps and 2 boss fights before I release Alpha 3. But there has been progress today.

Cool man good to hear that there has been progress. College terms suck when it comes to working on games in your free time so don't worry too much about making too much time to work on this game. While I personally do look forward to it, it isn't worth it to work too much on the game if it interferes with your college degree.

So it literally only took me a day, and I made enough to feel comfortable with releasing Alpha 3

Alpha 3 IS PURELY A AZKABAR UPDATE, that means no new scenes in the real world
So with that said the change list

1. The Underground ruin City is now existent. There are two ways to get in, from the battlefield and from the sewers.
2. Elevator works. You can now go down to the sewer level from the sewer.
3. Sewer door from the first level, that can now be unlocked with the Sewer key you won from the boss in the Berg
4. 14 New Maps
5. You can actually ring the Bell in the City.
6. 3 new Boses
7. Wizard in the Underground city
8. Suicide spots (So on some ledges, if you press in the direction towards the edge, you'll actually fall off and die. Because I want this game to be as frustrating as Dark souls remember :) )
9. I think you can make money in the real world. if I enabled it correctly. You can deliver papers in front of the grocery store, or mow the lawn at the library.

Of course as always, Let me know if there is any bugs, and enjoy the build.
