Need help attaching pictures to a post

So I am playing Leaf on Fire and I can not do sex scenes. So I post the problem to the topic, and the creator asks for screenshots. I am happy to oblige if it will help them, but I can not figure how to attach a picture. I press image and I thought it would behave like a word document where you select the file. Instead i get this when image is press , and the description says '"Insert Image: [img]http://image_url[/img}". SO if someone could help that would be appreciated.

P.S. I know is probably simple and I am being dumb about it.

There's two ways to do it here (well, maybe three. Two and a half).

If you have uploaded the image somewhere else (like NewGrounds dump, DeviantArt Stash, Dropbox, etc), you can use common BB code to display the image. This works more like an HTML line than a word document. If you use the real POSTREPLY page instead of the quick response, there will be a button that says "Img" which creates the bb tags.

Just put the URL of the image and you'll see it.

So for example, this:

Alternatively, if you have uploaded the image somewhere, you can simply share the URL and generate a link for it, like this: https://uimg.ngfiles.com/icons/3167/3167862_large.png (that's the half way)



But on LoK, you can also upload your own images with the Upload attachment system. In the real POSTREPLY page, below the text input field there are two tabs, Options and Upload Attachment. Select "Upload Attachment", then "Browse..." to pick the file on your computer, then "Add the file" and wait a bit while it gets attached. Then you can place the file within the document with a BB code, or it will automatically appear at the end of the message.



As a hint, if you choose to Quote a post, you can see what BB code the message is using.

Thanks I did not notice the upload attachment, and that was the type of thing I was looking for. It was helpful that you showed the other ways too. I feel blind now though. So once again thanks for the advice.
