The last couple of hours were running through her mind over and over again; especially the part of nearly brushing against Kazim. She grumbled, and through her feet out of bed; followed by the rest. She got decent, before sneaking out.
When she reached the street, she looked around to see whereabouts, before nodding. That way. She kept a steady pace, and in no time she found the workshop of that strange man. She knocked on the door, hoping Luis would be awake still.
Rufio was on the lookout that evening, as the assassins always had to fear of being attacked by some of the bandits or rape gangs they had "met" with. The evening had been quiet so far, giving him time to think about today's happenings, particularly about the new novice. That girl had caused quite a stir and the assassins who took part in the attack on Leandros were talking a lot about her. First she had disobeyed an order from the mentor and then she saved the mentor's life only to nearly lose her's afterwards. And furthermore, she had killed her first man on the first day without any combat skills. Of course it was luck, but still that clean strike, that cut off the guards hands had been very impressive. It was so clean, that the guard had died of shock and blood loss within a minute. He wondered, how good she would become, once she had completed her training.
Suddenly, Rufio hears the secret door in the sidestreet opening. He stayed in the dark and watched closely, only to see the girl sneak out and head into the city. Rufio immediately left his post and went inside, knocking at the mentor's door.
Kazim, who had been asleep for only a few minutes, but still deep asleep, was shocked by the sudden knock so heavily, that he sat up and threw the dagger from under his pillow in the direction of the sound. With a loud THUNK the dagger dug itself into the wood of the door. Outside, Rufio had been waiting for just that noise. In his mind he added another number to the score of how many times this had happened. "Mentor, I need to talk to you. It's important."
Kazim recognised his voice and go out of bed mumbling some curses in his mother tongue. He unlocks the door and opens it. "What is it?"
"The girl, she just sneaked out and disappeared into the city, heading east."
Kazim cursed again, then remained silent for a moment, thinking to himself.
"The workshop... I'll go after her. Thank you for telling me Rufio, now please return to the lookout."
"Yes mentor."
Kazim put on his armor and his clothing within a few minutes, then grabbed his weapons and moved out of the secret door on the top of the building. He started to run, jumping from one roof to the other, heading towards the workshop.
