Variation is nice but, to be honest, I don't envision these lizard guys being really different between them. They're hunters/gatherers and their technology level it's equivalent to the Stone Age. They value strength above all else and even a bow is viewed as a 'cheater' weapon, reserved to females only...: true males don't use ranged arms.

Shamanistic magic, on the other hand, is more than accepted but not as a primary offensive weapon. In fact, Jakuul being so extremely well informed is intended as he shares a special bond with the Great Shaman, but other clans don't share his agenda and deep beliefs and although they respect traditions, they'll prefer to exploit the Razorclaw weakness first and only then see what they could do about that 'supposed threat' of that lust demon and that only if they believe the story.

So I don't foresee much diplomacy in the future... :lol:

Surely it wasn't your intention, but I really hope that means that there is a possibility that

Krys can get permanently possessed by the lust demon kitsune. After all, what better way to get the MacGuffin (which I imagine is a shard of the Soul Crystal) than with resources of a military and the body of our heroine? Also, the idea of mind control through lust being given to the player would be too cool. 8-)

I'm more interested in converting the Kitsune to the side of good through Dick Therapy. Lust Demon she might be, but an entire village of horny reptiles running a fairly brutal train on her in rotating shifts should be enough to render her... Pliable. Plus I just love Kitsune.

Building on your idea, perhaps a body-swap Bad End? The Kitsune fucks off (literally) to the stars and Krystal is stuck in an even more sensitive body to pay for her failure on her back (and knees, held in the air, impaled from both ends on reptile javelins like a Dark Elf) for the rest of her life. Bonus points if there's a psychic bond, and whenever one gets it good the other feels it.

About the possession of Krystal from the lust demon, i hope we will be able to still play but sometimes the lust demon will take controll of Krystal without warning us, and force her to do what she want ;)

Hey all, it's been what, YEARS since I poked my face onto this forum? GREAT JOB. I love the dialogue, and that walk cycle is amazing! I remember pushing for something good like that when I was on Area 52 five years (holy crap five years?) ago. I'm still drawing, and if you needed to use any of my old art for ideas, feel free!

How about Krystal becoming a Lust Demon herself, and the two of them become queens or goddesses of sex and lust, or Krystal can defeat Kitsune and takes her place as a Lust Demon. That would be a fun endings.

By action you of course just mean family-friendly combat sequences in which enemy lizards are brutally dismembered, correct? Otherwise this game might not be fit for children.

i have a problem, i can play the game normally but i cant see the backgrounds after leaving the start area look like this http://www64.zippyshare.com/v/xP7kjX8I/file.html
my drivers are updated,how i can fix this? OS win7 32 bits

Your video card is quite old and supports DirectX 9 only. On the other hand, Unity defaults to DirectX 11 when starting a project, so that's the version I'm using at the moment.

However, you're not the only one to have reported this issue and to be honest, I don't think this game needs fancy graphic features. Therefore, I'm going to rebuild the demo at DirectX 9 level and upload it again so you can test it and tell me if that solves your problem. Give me one or two days, so I could check if something goes south, ok?

Ok, here you go...:

LoK Rebirth Demo (e) - Windows DirectX 9

Change log:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Changes:
- Windows version "downgraded" to DirectX 9 for better compatibility.
- Eastern (intro) jungle slightly reduced in size.
- Can't abandon the ship area without talking to its AI first.

Fixes:
- Mouse cursor icons doesn't rapidly blink anymore.
- After a Quit to Main Menu operation, the dialogue panel changes position as appropriate again.

Known issues:
- Moonwalking in some instances.
- Pathfinding is not 100% accurate.
- Player facing is not saved at the moment.
- Music stops in some jungle scenes, after loading a game.
- Double-clicking not always responsive (works better if not too fast).
- In the Jungle, going immediately back the way you've come could (sometimes) break the transition.
- Last save slot always gets tagged as "New save" when shown for saving. Nothing I can do at the moment.

Take a look and see if this solves your problem. DO NOT use a previous savegame, and try the lowest full-screen setting if it fails again.

In any case, I'll use DirectX 9 from now on. I should have done that from the start.

Any chance of having krystal trapped in the pit as an alternative route?
