He actually said in his post, he gets motion sickness. I do occasionally in Zombie Survival games (if I play them for too long, I would assume due to gore, not so much motion), but I think I get where he's coming from...
EDIT: First thing I'm going to point out is the game could use an Invert Y-Axis , can't even begin to explain how hard it is for me to play games with freelook without it. Second thing is it could use some key rebinding options. Given this is a demo, I'm going to stop there & wait to see if there are going to be further public versions.

You also should really really (if intending to do an RPG) write down and design your mechanics before you spend any time coding them...

To be honest it's really hard to balance this, some people manage to find the chests in 2 minutes, others look around for 30. Most of the players have found them pretty quick though.

But is it still fun, even if you find them?? Is it going to be like Skyrim where doing even basic (and they were) fetch quest missions you'll get sidetracked no end of times meeting other people, bandits, monsters etc.?? Because if not, you have to ask yourself is the task itself fun. If no, then just a time waster to hold the players away from content. It could be find the chests. Press mouse button 100 times, do the QTE game, talk to her until 50 relationship points, or for RPGs kill 50 mobs.
This is one of the main reasons I don't like male protagonist in a male/dominant setting, and it's not because I don't like M/F encounters. But as nothing ever happens to him (except for the M/F scenes), it's just time wasteing filler quests blocking when you inevitably finally get to bang the woman, rinse, repeat with the next one. As Destrocto mention, another fuck the girl game.
Whereas with Female protagonist games, as she's usually the victim (go figure), stuff actually happens when she has to do stuff. So she gets attacked by fairies when looking for chests and loses all her clothes and runs away to hid in a orc den etc..
Also goes for the few Male Sub types games, probably why Monster Girls and reverse rape games are popular, although still in the minority. Instead of having to do non porn stuff to get to the porn, with the reverse rape, the porn is actually in the stuff to get more porn.
In movie terms, there's no antagonist, nothing to fight against, or lose. Just temporary blocking content. In the second case, it's the rest of the world.
Anyway something to think about. And having said that, it's not as if some of those style games aren't successful.

The path to the end is a series of (sexing) combat with Monster girls. So the combat challenge is the porn.
For a side scroller, Iris Action was big. So standard side scrolling combat game, but instead of just regular combat to unlock scenes (which it also does with game over unlocks), the combat itself has porn elements with enemy sexy grappling and clothing removal.

And so many RPG Maker type games are like that.
So the difficulty you had to overcome was part of the porn part of the game. But in both cases they are both always losing in a way (and you see the porn when you lose) which doesn't match up with the 'fuck the girl' type quest. You never lose, you're just delayed by 'stuff'. As the porn stuff is the harder stuff to make it's walled off with busy work to extend playing time. But it has to be good to waste that time getting there, dealing blocking mechanics (find X fruits etc.). Because if both were equally easy to code, why not have your girlfriend be captured by a group of sex starved amazon women that you have to screw to get to her. Then it would be porn all the way through, but no longer a unique reward. If the locked porn is the reward, you make it almost a given the blocking stuff isn't.
As mentioned, not that just good graphics/artist can't work. Like Monster Girl Island, if you can afford the artists, coder etc. Porn can work that way lol. As in most porn movies have zero acting that would never work in a regular movie, but stick big enough tits in there. People will push through that grind.
But be aware if you're doing viking stuff...
