Hello one and all! My name is Jiktaq and I am a rookie editor for a project that has been in the making for quite a few years. I am in no way a professional, I'm just someone who volunteered to help out the creator make the work he does more readible and easier to navigate for the benefit of others who find an interest in his project. And what is this project your might ask? Good question!
Welcome, to Horizon! An erotic sci-fi tabletop game developed by Paper_Ace_Chase (or Ashton Grey if you know him). I also help him with getting the word out there about the game and try to bring as much attention to it as possible. Don't worry about me going against his wishes as he has given me full confidence to work how I deem it necessary. He even was cool with me making a CHYOA.com story for it to let other people who were interested in it to make some fanfiction if they desired. Now, onto what the game is about.
He pretty much made the game himself based on most sci-fi mediums (Star Wars, Mass Effect, Warhammer 40k, Star Craft, etc.) and made it on the d20 system and operates on a hexagon grid. There isn't so much as a plot to the game, as it's really just a sci-fi adventure RPG with lots of erotic elements (including sex combat mechanics). Every race has their own story with really only one universal bad guy that everyone is fighting against. And that, is the Kryslin! The Kryslin are a race of beastly insectoid, tentacles monstrocities that burns planets, feasts on the resources, and turn women from all species into breeding vats via body horror modification. There are also Warp Daemons that can be a threat to the galaxy at large. However, the most common enemy you will find is the other races as they play their games of intergalactic politics. The game is also very mission-based thus far. There is no levels, more gaining skills and stat points as rewards for beating missions. You fail a mission? You get nothing for it.
There is always stuff being added to the game. But below are the currently semi-finished documents containing rules and information needed to play the game.
Horizon: RPG manual
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1oN2 ... sp=sharing
Here you will find the main meat of the entire game. The story of how us Humans become a part of galactic affairs, the most noteworthy faction and the races that make it up (The Alliance), the different classes you can be, how the mechanics work, character sheets, base weapons and upgrades, veteran classes of the base races and classes, and so on! This is your guide to playing the game and understanding how it all works. For the most part, this one is all done and in order. The only things missing to it are the veteran classes for the Assault classes (which are classes that were just recently added to the game not too long ago).
The Fringe: Expansion of Horizon
https://docs.google.com/document/d/14GC ... sp=sharing
Guess what was missing from the main doc? MORE RACES! MORE UPGRADES AND ITEMS UNIQUE TO MORE RACES! That is right! Here you have "The Fringe", a space outside of Alliance territory that is made up of even more races! Now, this isn't all of the races that are out there in Horizon, oh no no. For one, there are two (and possibly more) other playable races not introduced into it. And even then, there are more unplayable races to contend with. Also, for the races that are here, there are some that don't have all their lore fleshed out, so that's even more work that needs to be done. But for the most part this is the remaining playable races for the game. This also has their race specific technology, items, and veteran classes. Just even more choices for you to enjoy that are still being updated.
Warp Compendium
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1L1l ... sp=sharing
And here we have all things you'll ever want to know about the Warp. What is the Warp exactly? Why, it's the place where Psionics get their powers from, how some races travel from one part of the galaxy to the other, and also acts as a spirit realm that the dead go to as well as harbor Warp Daemons of various types. In this document you get lore tidbits about the Warp and the things that reside in it. You also get stats, mechanics, and guides on how to properly introduce Warp Daemons into a game. And lastly you also get more veteran classes for Psionics as well as variants on their psionic abilities (not to mention just more psionic abilities). Just more customization options for your characters as well as new things to have in the game.
Now here are a list of things to expect to see in the game in the future. After all, this game is nowhere near done, there's so much to do!
1) More stuff overall in the docs provided. There's still vet classes needed for the Assault classes, more lore for established races not having any, and a few more races with their own vet classes and tech.
2) Art work. The creator has said he is saving up to get someone, not sure what artist quite yet, to get artwork for all the different races that are in the game. I don't know if he'll have maps too, I just know he plans on getting race portraits.
3) Prefab content. He also plans on putting somewhere, I don't know where, some already made stuff for people to snap up and use for their own liking. This ranges from character sheets to mission types. Just to make it easier for new players and DMs to slide into things.
4) DM Guide document. Yes, he plans on making a guide to help people become adjusted to DMing the game. He hasn't talked much about it to me, so I don't know all of what's going to be in it. But I'm wadgering there might be some information of non-playable races in there.
5) Faction Index document. Out in the Fringe with all the races, playable and non-playable, alliances have been formed. It is here you get to now more lore about all the different factions that are within the Horizon universe. You get to know what races make them up, what roles they play within it, their economy, their way of diplomacy, their military strategy, how they are in relation to other factions, as well as any sort of tech unique to them...such as ship and drone designs.
6) Martial Handbook document. Much like the Warp Compendium, this will be a document pertaining to martial-based classes. It is here one will find lore of different martial combat syles, variants and more options for martial classes, and all sorts of other things that a person who loves doing things with their own hands and some elbow grease can enjoy.
7) Special Assembly Tech document. Much like the Warp Compendium, this will be a document pertaining to technology-based classes. You can find all the different means of using technology to customize your high-tech load out. This will include different styles of designs for gear, variants and more options for technology classes, and anything and everything a person who loves playing with toys and gadgets will enjoy.
And that is all that I know of thus far that is planned to be worked on. But thus far, I think it has a pretty solid base. We beta-tested the games for many years (though they never get far becuase we get our players from Darknest and they have the tendency to just stop showing up and forces us to cancel the game for a time) and it is really fun and interesting. I wish more people can dedicatly enjoy the game.
For more information on other races, here is the creator's hentai-foundary account to find them:

I hope to hear people's opinions about the game. Feel free to ask any questions about the game whether it be about the game itself or the production of it. And yes, it is okay to DM the game yourself if you want, there are some people doing their own games.
