FMC Wrote:Took a quick look at the Concubine game you mentioned. It's... okay where it's at right now.
But perhaps you could make it a more voluntary slavery, or perhaps a slavery to an institution rather than a single person. That'd make it more like the Whore job, but you don't get a say in what people do to you, and it's usually degrading, leading to more Willpower (or wahtever you called it now, I forgot. xD) loss the longer you stay in the 'Slave' fashion. You could maybe mix in a little of the stay-at-home-whore concepts of having the right items for options during sex and / or giving bonuses for them. These could be outfits rather than furniture, though, and / or maybe you could make it so the place, using the money they make from you, can build itself up. Sorta like the stay-at-home-whore building your rooms, it'd be building off of funds only the 'owner' has, but you can still choose what the 'owner' buys or, if you want it completely hands-free, from your choices before (where you act like you're resisting, bondage, calling people 'master,' etc), they might buy the clothes that fit your personality and build things accordingly -- like a 'bdsm whore' might get a dungeon, with those that seem to 'resist' getting a more hardcore dungeon, etc.
I dunno, just tossing ideas out to see if they ring with you.

I assume it shouldn't be loading as long as it is & trying to load the BAT as admin literally closes the command prompt as soon as it starts. Am I missing something that should be allowing it to run?
AngMyDee Wrote:I am afraid the game is taking a very long time to load on your computer :/ Could you try letting it loading for a long moment? If it crashes or does not respond could you send me the general.log file located at the root directory of the game?
I am working on speeding up the loading process as it is just too slow to be playable and I am considering switching to an embedded database.

I doubt this loading time is normal, I let it sit for a few while I did something in the other room & it never gets past the loading screen; the loading time would be obscenely long for an Intel Core i7-3820 Quad-Core (hyper-threading has it at 8 cores) 3.6 GHz system ($2000 rebuild about 2 years ago). I'll throw my process monitor on it while it's attempting to load, see if it's throwing internal errors (missing files) while it's trying to load; I pinpointed an issue with the Unreal 3 engine on a fairly new Steam game once doing this, which apparently had to be fixed in the engine itself (the developer of the game taking my report & presenting it to the developers of the Unreal engine), not just the game it was effecting (was likely effecting other games as well).
AngMyDee Wrote:Could you copy/past and pm me the content of the general.log file located at the root directory of the game (when you start the game with naohr.nat, not directly with the jar file) after letting it load for a moment? It should give me useful information about the issue.

This is what I got last time I attempted to run it (5/17):Spoiler (click to show/hide):

That might be possible... Looked at my installed programs in Windows (using search term java), I had the following listed:This probably would have been easier by just uploading a screenshot...
- Name: Java 8 Update 25
Publisher: Oracle Corporations
Installed On: 10/31/2014
Size: 73.3 MB
Version: 8.0.250- Name: Java(TM) 7
Publisher: Oracle
Installed On: 2/15/2015
Size: 98.9 MB
Version: 7.0.0
Notice the installation dates, not sure why I would have installed an older version past a newer version unless it was a matter of incompatibility issues with one of the Java games I have; I suppose it's possible one of my Steam games that use Java may have installed it...
I don't update Java very often, so I'll wipe both versions & install the latest version, although I'm more inclined to believe that having JAR files associated with WinRar could also be a problem...
EDIT: After uninstalling both versions, rebooting & installing the latest version (Java 8 Update 131), game seems to be running (although Java apparently won't run in Firefox v53.0.2, so we'll see where this goes), I'll give you a heads up if I run into any problems. I'm beginning to think the old version might have been installed for use in Steam (seeing as they stopped development for non-standard browsers some time ago, although I might be thinking of the Flash Player), so I might have to reinstall that old version regardless, then I'll probably have the same problem again...
