ULMF Thread was simply locked until I release something. It was degenerating into repetitive bitchfests over and over again. Seemed pointless to keep cluttering up the main forum with another series of people complaining and me complaining back. Unfortunately, they don't have John Collins to bring lighthearted humor and defuse escalating bitchfests before they start.

As for news, been working full time for three weeks now. Had my second child two weeks ago, which ate up my spare time a bit, but not completely. I planned for that, and have my working days set aside even with the new baby. Even so, now that I've had a few weeks, I've settled into a nice routine.

@Randomguy: I won't say it won't it April without a release, since I've been wrong about 100 times so far, but I doubt it. I plan on putting out a proof of progress release very soon, to show people that yes, I really am working on it. Pretty much everything is updated to the new artwork, which took time. Shouldn't have to happen again, since I've been satisfied with my art skills since last Spring.

I had not finalized the shading in that version, but I'd like to think it shows the stark improvement I've made in the past two years. That was why I spent a few months revamping and getting everything up to the same standard.

This remembers me of the time Van Gogh got fucking tired of hearing the high pitched crying of women's children while he was out and about trying to find some inspiration for an urban painting so he cut his ear off in his temporal lunacy.

It's been more than 2 years and I'm still checking at least once a week in here to see if anything changed. If the quality or the quantity of the game is similar to the excuses you brought up - then you might want to start a company or take over EA or something. Because then the game would actually quite insanely good.

For real though:

You ever thought about getting some people to help you so that chapter 2 won't be such a pain in the ass for every single fan of your work? Just let it be writing or drawing, maybe just get some ideas from them - plenty of people would be willing to help you I believe. Getting everything done on his own gives satisfaction when it's done, but pain and suffering as long as its not.
