[Ren'Py] Deviant Discoveries v.0.03.1 updated 22.01.17

Hey guys

I'm a first time coder making a game in ren'py using my own artwork and I would like to see if there is any interest in it.
You play a scientist/professor which has invented ways to alter the human body.
He sets out to test it on students at the school he currently works in, corrupting them in the process.

V0.01 features:
teaching is rewarded with money.(so far money does nothing, but will be useful later on.)
Study with chrystal (raises affection)
discipline chrystal (unlocked with affection/raises obedience)
assessment of girl and (some) of her responses changes as affection/obedience gets higher

V0.02 features:
you can now get Chrystal to expose herself if she is obedient enough(2 scenes and both raise sluttiness)
Yeah! Money now serves a purpose. 300$ and sluttiness should be enough to unlock a new scene and clothes for Chrystal.
***Attention*** The other scenes become unavailable after her wardrobe change because i have yet to render the new scenes for her after she changes clothes.
Those scenes will be in the next release.

V0.03.2 (second bugfix)features:
Three new locations:
The gym, deans office and the lab.

New features include:
the phone, which will serve later as an sort of status checker and to have contact with npcs.
Working on setting up the lab will unlock the ability to synthezise the blue serum in the lab.
The blue serum is a sort of mood reset button.

New character:
Kara the dean. She will hinder you from working with chrystal after a certain point. In order to progress with her you will have to find a way to change her mind.
Four new scenes with Chrystal in her new wardrobe. I reworked the code to show requirements for each action with Chrystal and suggestions for other actions as well.

My old system of having actions pop up when they were available didn't really work as people expected something that wasn't there to hopefully pop up.
It's a learning process to see what works for the game as opposed to what works in theory.

It woudl be nice to know what there really is and what isn't. I caught myself thinking it everything but few clicks away it happened that there is still stuff.

if you overdo the study or obedience it takes you back to main menu when checking stats, I'm unsure wheter cash plays any role yet? I haven't been able to do anything other than study + punish, so I guess that's it, unless I'm unaware of something.

As for me game holds some promise but it's too early to really judge

I'm on day 100, still no change in the sluttiness of Crystal. I'm mixing up study and discipline sessions as well as just teaching from time to time. Does assessing the girls change what stats you are trying to modify?

Assessing the girls will give the status of that girls stat and the player will change his comment as the girls status changes.
I thought it would be more organic to have the player say for example "She's not slutty" to "She's a huge slut" rather than she's some percent this or that.
So far Study raises affection and discipline raises obedience. Next I will implement a way to raise sluttiness which will contain some nudity.

I would really be interested in exactly how and what happened there. Because that would be an overlooked bug on my part.

I have rendered most the scenes for version 0.03, but still have some coding left to do.
This will be a good update content wise and will include some sex scenes as well as new locations, such as the lab.

Okay... I have an odd question... I have three complete serums.... but it does not show anywhere in how to use them....

So... what happens after you get at least one of each of the serums?

Fixed! It was a typo causing the bug on my end.
I updated the download link to have the fixed version, check the top post.
If any bugs should come up I will try to fix them as quickly as possible and then upload it both on my patreon page and here.

addling the brain of the dean, making her open to suggestions. which will unlock the rest of chrystals story arc for this version

Okay... I have an odd question... I have three complete serums.... but it does not show anywhere in how to use them....

Wow! I'm really impressed you managed to make those serums. I mean I know the time that goes into making them.
But like I said earlier in this post and in the version changelog. Only the blue one serves a purpose for now. But it's good to know the mechanics for them work.
In the next version of the game I will at least include the green serum to play a part with a character.
For clarification, Blue = mood/mind, Red = Libido/inhibition Green = Body modification.

Found another bug. Ever since Chrystal's sluttiness assessment dialogue changed to "Total whore/cumslut", every time I assess either her obedience or affection the scene where she arrives after getting her slutty schoolgirl outfit from the adult store replays.

No, there is nothing more for now. There are no hidden choices or buttons that will pop up as soon as certain triggers have been met. I have however started planning the next update and we will see how that goes.
