If Chapter 1 is not fully polished before my Patreon's two year anniversary, I'll release it no matter what at that point. December 26th. You have my word that you'll get Chapter 1 in December. Then, we'll see how fast I can get chapter 2 done. There are a number of reasons why I believe it will be significantly faster.

Hah, you're right. I did say the 26th in this thread. Not sure what I was thinking, as my Patreon started on the 28th and I've had that as my two year anniversary deadline for awhile now. Sorry about that.

I've been back and forth on the public release/beta release multiple times. Hell, at one point, I was planning just chapter 1 for public and no other releases until the full game. Now, I plan to do all releases public after a short beta period. I will be releasing this update to patrons only for a least a short period to make sure nothing falls apart. I'll post when I release the public update. I'll add that the game is and will always remain free, so I may be one slow ass developer, but you can ultimately play the game without pledging anything.

As for your earlier post about nothing in almost two years. I've actually had THREE releases in two years, the first on December 28th, 2014. The second on March 19th, 2015 and the third on August 24th, 2015. So, it's not quite as bad as you indicate. Anyways, Merry Christmas, I hope your weekend goes well!

@Smisenost: It's not that bad. I've gotten a lot of great feedback and support here. I've gotten programming help, editing help, and excellent suggestions. LoK is a pretty awesome place.

Now, I don't know about the other active members of this forum, but I personally have been going back and forth between this forum and Yummy's patreon for updates and information, and I know for a fact that he was very clear about using his patreon cumsluts as beta testers for his game so that us free-folk would get a - relatively - bug-free game to play.

Look, most people in this chat have been supportive of YummyTiger, even if we did at times express our disapproval and sometimes even stage interventions to confront him about his strange obsessive fetish for inaccurate release dates and blue-balling followers.

You contradicted yourself harder than a fucking bible, right there. Yummy's charging method is not per-month basis but per-chapter basis, so you'd very strictly be getting a good batch of fap material for the bucks you shove.

I didn't see it as an attack, just frustration. You're fine. I wish when I had started all this, I would have had a better understanding of what I was getting into. Then, I wouldn't have promised those early release dates and warped everyone's expectations. For example, you say that your impressed I've kept going after two years, but the reality is that 2+ years is not uncommon at all. Indie games take 2, 3, 4 and more years of work all the time, and that is with teams of people. That first year, work was sporadic and based mostly on when I was motivated. That is how hobbyist development works, but that means weeks, hell even months, may pass without much progress because the motivation wasn't there.

Last May, I went part time, because I knew hobbyist development would not get the job done. I worked 1 or 2 days a week, every week on the game... or at least that was the plan. I have to sheepishly admit, I may have spent a few days playing games. Oops! The Patreon plan I use is a bit of a double-edged blade. It's awesome that people only pay when they get something, but it also means I can justify any missed releases or justify goofing off a few days because it is not hurting anyone. And, I did that more than once.

I've submitted my notice at work earlier this month, I will be trying full time development in January. For that to work, I have to start releasing content and running pledged updates. I can't justify hobbyist development, so that will be the test of whether YT Gaming can take the next step and start churning out quality game content. We'll see. I do pretty darn well at my normal job of getting shit done and hitting deadlines, so I know I can do it. I just need to stop treating this as a hobby and start treating as one of the most amazing jobs ever!

Given that this has mostly remained a hobbyist games over the past two years, the fault really lies with my naive predictions. I set the tone that it would be done in a few months, when that was not even remotely possible given the time I was working on it and the scope of the game. What's done is done, all I can do now is try to get it released before HL3. I give it 50/50...

Yummy, I hate to be the one prying at release dates, but I'm blue balled as fuck, I've squeezed just about every single drop of hentai game porn that I could out of this site (or the internet in general) that was both good and complete.
Since we're hitting the beta testing period (which I presume won't last for long unless the feedback brings a fuckton of bugs that are hard to fix), I thought maaaaybe I could just ask and soothe my raging boner.
