I know I've tried some Pokemon Roleplays in the past that failed on my end because of my move and all, but that was also due to me making them kind of complicated in their story. This, however shall be a Skyrim style Pokemon roleplay, which is to say, free roam, side quests, free will, marriage and housing options, etc. Maybe even some 'DLC' later?
The Setting:

This takes place in all regions, save Alola because I haven't gone through it. To journey from one region to the next, you'll need to buy a ticket for the Ship, the S.S. Steven, a ship built with the help of the Hoenn champion, Steven Stone.
The story:

Things have changed in the Pokemon world, much for the better. As with no other time in history, there is no team trying to take over or destroy the world. There is, however, a new law, changing tradition and life in the world. Trainers must be at least 18 to obtain their first Pokemon. The world is large, wide, and full of adventure, so why not become a trainer? Or maybe the life of a Contest Star suits you? A celebrity, straight from the movies? Whatever your reason for starting a journey, be sure to make your dreams come true!
The rules:

1) While some NPCs may try, characters cannot rape, sexually assault, or sexually harass others. This WILL result in jail time, which results in Level and Money loss.
2) To capture a Pokemon, you must appeal to it first, however you see fit. If a Pokemon feels no interest toward you, it will not stay in the Pokeball.
3) Stealing is allowed, but being caught will result in Jail time, which is unfair to most.
4) You have not been 'Caught' committing a crime until the police or their Pokemon physically stop and arrest you.
5) You can only catch one Pokemon per route.
6) If a Pokemon faints, you must leave it in the PC until you beat your next Gym/Contest/Movie, ya know, finish the next whatever you do.
7) 3 Trainers per region (To begin with), all starters will be obtainable, but your region determines your options (Obviously).
