As for the new content. Old Saves will work
But I advice to start a new game.
If use use old save beware not to mess with Amy and Jade underwear tab. it will crash the game.

I have done a lot in this new release to fix as much of the spelling I could,
but please keep in mind that not all spelling will be fixed only those I noticed.

Hi this is my second game of Alone Amongst Demons.
You start the game out as a man named Jack who encounters.
the main characters body from the first game raping a girl.
you try to stop him this is how your advanture begins.

this game is a gender blender game
it will contain adult content.

I reached the cave, and opened the first chest on the left. Slimes popped out, and it showed the same text you see when Juka summoned the slimes against you.

yeah there are a few minor bugs here and there.

Cool to see another of your games. I would say the game is in desperate need of spellchecking but is otherwise fine so far. Would be super nice if you vastly reduced the number of rats you have to kill. They pose no challenge at all doing 0 damage to you but it takes like 40 seconds to beat the fight just holding down spacebar. Maybe you intend for jack to already be level 3 and win the fight with a sweep attack but it was quite a pain at level 2. The very beginning could use some reworking to be more convenient and less confusing. Like if you get to the water without the bucket have jack say "Oh crap I forgot the bucket back at the camp". Perhaps also have the spot where you make the fire sparkle and if you interact with it before you have enough wood jack mentions how he needs more wood for the fire.

The note book item should probly go back to the story/side quest menu after you finish reading part and only close when you hit cancel (or add a close option) as its kind of annoying to have open up the menu and go to the book all over again when you want to check the other side. You should be able to accomplish this with loops or labels. Only jack's hp is restored when he sleeps overnight at the bar. It would be nice if there were areas in town and in the forest where you could rest to full heal your party (and especially revive dead members). In the forest the Minotaur oneshot Amy so she was dead for the rest of the area requiring me to use up a lot of my potions. If I hadn't already had a lot of potions left it could have put me into an unwinnable state if I had saved with say only 2 potions left and amy dead.

Also seems a little odd to me how all your mains are always so angry about turning into a girl. I figured jack would be happy to be alive at all after what happened and considering body change magic obviously exists in that universe, it really shouldn't be such a big deal since changing back is always an option. I also have to imagine waking up in another body would be a bit surreal and you would probably feel disconnected from it instead of ashamed of it. Maybe thats me though. I look forward to seeing more.

Yeah I know about the spelling. I am trying to clean it up and learn from it.
The rats will be fixed by the next release. I already made them map encounters instead of random. So you don't have to fight them all the time.

As for healing you could use Juka's bed to fully restore
but in the next update I will also make a place where you can restore in town.

As for Jack being angry, it's not as much about being a Girl but begin cursed.
afcourse he is also not happy about being a girl. As where Juka in my first game was more sad about it.
He also tries to hide his embarrassed by being angry all the time.
Its' true what you said about gender changes do happen in that world but most are irreversible
And most alter the mind of the subject. As for Jack his mind is still well how do I say this male.

As for the notebook. It was a new idea, that I had to help players keep track of what needs to be done I could make a loop as you said after reading it to go back to the selection screen.
I will test that out.

Gender Change how to write it how would the Character feel.
how would you feel.
I try to picture my self in that kind of situation.
and think how would I act if it happend to me.
well at first I would be shocked. Confused.
then worried. what changed how did things change around me.
when I calmed down I would most likly look at my own body even sexually pleasure my self.
But then the question is what would you do if you are not alone from the beginning.
like 2 to 3 girls that knew you where male, and they are right there.
I would act tough angry even. to hide my embaresment, and not let them see that I might acctully am curuis about my new body.
Jack is a person with a lot of pride.
and he might be intrested in the female body, but not to the point of being inside one himself
for the rest of his life. a day would be cool tho if he was alone to enjoy it.
He is not into males, so he does not want males to make passes on her.

well that is a bid of the reasons why Jack is angry.
to hide what he is truly feeling.

I have read and seen anime and mange. where guys turn into girls and act like its the most normal thing in the world.
even jump into sex after mere moments after being transformed.
I never liked that kind that much, it does not feel real that way,
but I would love to hear your Comunity's opinion about that.
What would you do if you woke up as a hot girl.
Tell both if you were alone
and when you are with other poeple that knew you where a guy before.

Assuming I had a reason explaining how I turned into a girl and a reason I could give to other people to explain why I am suddenly a girl I imagine very little would change. I imagine I would initially be shocked and worried if I was in danger from whatever transformed me but after that have a little fun exploring the new body and then go about my normal life. If I was in front of people I would if anything play it off like its fine and make jokes and probably just try to get alone to collect my thoughts.

Likely I wouldn't really associate this new body with me right off the bat and thus probably wouldn't feel ashamed to be naked in front of other people. It'd be sort of like removing all your armor in an MMO so your character is (nearly) naked. You wouldn't feel personally ashamed of that cause its not really your body despite you being in control of it.

I would also be quickly curious if the transformation magic could be used to stay eternally young and allow me to become effectively immortal by just transforming my body into a healthier younger one every few years.

Granted I'm not that normal of a person to begin with and I imagine most people would be a little more concerned. It wasn't odd to me that any one of your characters reacted negatively to it, just that they all reacted negatively to it and the girls in this one expected him to wake up mad to be a girl instead of mad that they couldn't yet save juka or beat the demon.

From a game perspective I can understand why you would want the characters be reluctant though and I'm fine with that. I remember really enjoying the build up in the first alone amongst demons although I felt like juka got used to sexual things a little too suddenly given how long the build up was. Granted the succubus body sort of made sure of that but from a pacing stand point it felt a little annoying that all that time spent being reluctant and gradually acclimating to the new situation culminated in juka basically going "oh, well that was fun I guess" and then just being cool with it for the most part. It MAY have had something to do with the people milking sidequest being kinda buggy and I may have just seen scenes that weren't intended to be seen until later.

I personally am not a huge fan of succubi and the whole demonic corruption angle in porn games cause it feel it takes away from some of the joy of a normal person being mentally broken down and often results in submissive activities building into high corruption which result in dominant characteristics. Corruption of Champions being a pretty great example where getting fucked increases corruption which allows you to then dominantly rape other creatures so your character ends up making a switch from being submissive to dominant seemingly at random.

Just a status update.
I finished 70% of all the new pictures for the next update.
And am already hard at work on version 3 of the game.
My goal is to try and release it next month.
if no servere problems show up.

Spelling is bad, if English isn't your first language might want to have a proofreader check it. It's not horrendous but there are a lot of small mistakes that add up. A few continuity errors, I was thrashing rats around the temple, then there was a cutscene talking about what I learned from Jade - only I hadn't done that yet. Jack/Jessica sprite is off at times - when it's still Jack, the sprite of Jessica shows up when checking out his old house, and Jack's sprite in an area where there's no reason to go there but Jessica is being played by this time. Also when switching from Jack to Jessica, you lose all your skills, but you can't regain the sweep move, is there a reason for it?

Now the good stuff! It's entertaining, the characters are funny, and it's fun! Despite my whining, I do like the game. Mostly my chief complaint is *spell-check would be a good idea*

Well I think for now the spelling is as good as it's going to get.
I did notice I spelled noting wrong a lot should be nothing so that I am planning to fix by the next update.
But I do believe I reached the limit to how much more I my self can fix in my own spelling.
I know I am not the best and that is why I do use spell checkers in fact I use 2 kinds of spell checking right now
The first one is an online spell checker.

The second one is a plugin for the MV engine.
When I test play new content it will show words up that are spelled wrong so I can fix them.
Now proof readers are nice and all used them before once.
In my other games, but to be honest it's to much work to give them the text they spell check
And it still turns out its full of mistakes. And it easily would take me 2 to 3 days of work to get all the correct spelling back in.
While it's not even correct. So I do not rely on that anymore.
That leaves my grammar I know my sentence build up can be strange with points and commas
I will try to improve that over time.

In short. I will try to improve as I work on the game.
So I ask of all of you for understanding,

I am not angry about the comment but I just wanted to let you guys know
That I am doing my best,

I am glad to hear that you Musical74 did like the game.
And all the rest that liked the game as well.
I will only promise this I will continue to learn and become better.

There is only one thing I ask of you guys.
When playing the game make a note of what kind of words I spell wrong often.
Like noting and notting, should be nothing.
Or when I wrote words in correct English but it spells the wrong word.

Progress Report.
I am about half way done with the new udpate.
all pictures are finished. and am writing the final scenes.
I expect to release this update at begin December for patreons.

That brings me to my next news.
Patreons will get to play from now on a month before anyone else.
Planned public release is in January.

Hey, do you mind adding a save that has all the content in version 2 completed when you release the next patch? Since you broke the saves somewhat and I really don't want to start from the beginning it would be nice to have a save that is up to the beginning of the new patch when you release it. I can try to go through some lines to give you examples of common mistakes you make whenever the next patch is out.
