You should probably read the thread before stating how large a game you are not developing should be. Single developer, with a real life, and other projects going on, statements like that have the potential to make a developer just stop. So I'd recommend getting all the facts first, removing your expectations of what should/should not be done, and be a contributor to the thread instead of a detractor. Something a lot of people seem to forget in these communities is: it's a free game, you aren't entitled to anything, it's far more productive to be patient, help out, and try and make it the best game possible.

Jokes aside, dude, Deathgod, I gotcha. I'm as salty as a LoL player losing a ranked match when it comes to how long it has taken for this game to develop. Hell, I'm probably one of the impatient folk as I'm sure there have been plenty more people waiting for a much longer period of time.
Thing is, however, as Smisenost stated, it's a free game, and unlike other 'free' games out there in the ass&titties community of games, this game hasn't really taken off financially with its Patreon (I don't mean that the game doesn't have many supporters, but rather that YummyTiger's Patreon policy is a lot less greedy than others, based on a 'per chapter' donation cycle rather than the much more usual 'gib me cash every month while I feed you monthly updates of how little Ive worked in the game' donation cycle other game devs use.), and this means that since he's not really making any money while developing the game, he usually will end up having to place other, more productive things in a higher priority than the game.
Just give it time brah. It'll come soon. _{<- haha lol I'm such a skrub}

Day 2 of Chapter 1 was finished on Monday, there are 9 days in Chapter 1, but the YummyTiger must also avoid the pitfalls of frozen pizza, sick children and appease the spouse so as to avoid pits that will slow him down.

Rumors say a mysterious man in black has posted signs around Yummy's workstation, the most notible and irritating of these is the one that states NO VIDEO GAMES! Yummy reports that he has been obeying the signs posted especially the one that reads NO artwork additions or revamps.

All of this was gleened from the Patreon page for Yummy Tiger, and the determined Ace Reporter Nine Horse Hitch who has been monitoring the goings on in Zalran proper.

I think you mean TWO years. I created my Patreon in December of 2014, and will hit the TWO year anniversary next month. Not that it is terribly better.

Also, I've only been working on it for about 6 months part-time. If I end up going full time next month, then we can truly see how productive I can be. I doubt it will be another two years before chapter 2.
