does the lag still happen when you download and drag the .swf into your browser?

now, I can't replicate any frame-loss on my end, but only having one rig there's not much hardware testing I can do..

anyways, I've got some tests I'll need info on if I'm ever gonna get anywhere with this..
firstly, the day timers use a whole bunch of counters and goto functions.. is the lag as bad when endless mode is on? because that shuts off a whole load o' code.
and second, does the lag happen inside gallery mode?
also, can you guys take a look at your task manager stats (performance tab) when you play? ..I wanna know if you're hitting your cpu or ram limits.

from what I've seen there, it could be the day-screen .. or it could be just about any other line of code.
can you test out what happens if you enter and exit 10 or so days in a row?
if it's still bad, then I'll know where to start looking.
but, if it doesnt give you game-breaking lag, then we're back to ghost-hunting.

## edit: I've done some scouring, and I think I've found the culprit..
when duplicating scenes (game, menus, day-over, etc) it looks like local variables arent resetting properly, leaving them to clog up memory forever.
moving the vars in the end-day screen from local to _root, I can go 100 days before the skipping starts really happening.
now, I've just got to do the same to mnf's old game code and hope I don't break anything..
it'll never be perfect, but that ought to extend max play-time by a fair bit.

New stomach bulging insertions! new partners (now of various sizes) plus a 'duo-queue' selector, a full costume for Syndra, a bit of a UI cleanup and heaps more (less important) fix-y stuff!

for preview two, I wanna have most of the gb scene done and have a few characters drawn. (dj sona (probably) shyv & quinn)
on full 1.8, aiming for a 'pleasure' bar plus a persona system for likes/dislikes and maybe the riding pose too if all that doesnt take too long.
