My typo senses are tingling...

other than that, it looks great! great drawing, good animation and interesting story!

When the game gets more developped though youll have to put a skip button, the intro is amazing but seeing everytime we want to check what has been added to each new update, having to see the intro another time might annoy a few people due to the lenght of it.

I already have one in there.... its just disabled right now... i use it to skip to parts i'm testing... but if you where to click on... (during the preloader), ... i don't know.. it might crash... I'll leave it in next update.

not being a major starfox player, idk if legend of the Twin Orbs and this are related, but i enjoyed similar plot points that you mentioned in the intro. for what is essentially a porn game, too, the music is a bit intense. im fine with intense, dont get me wrong, but that had me looking over my shoulder. just throwin that out there. aside from that, very very good. im looking forward to the next update. and happy almost first year registered, AA.

Updated Today...

Just added a quick opening cut scene for chapter 1 and a preview of the battle system (which is still under heavy development).

The "developer" button will skip to the beginning of chapter 1.

Only Attack Command is active right now.

No damage or such is being dealt or received ATM. So you're stuck in that battle scene.

hmm... that's about it... enjoy.

So for the attack button after i click it i have a target. Well it seems like i have to click on the target anyways so why have the selection thing like it is?

Not bad for progress, I'm like the little intro and how (I'm assuming anyways) there non sex related battles, I like the clothes, has that very 'stranded, trying to survive' look. Turn based combat is a fresh take on things considering the how many spin offs take the RoR approach.

I'm not sure if I'm sold on Krystal's face or not, that's it, the body looks ok, the hair is great, but the face is very 'anime human' looking right now. I wouldn't say it's bad or you can't use it and make it work, I'd revisit Dr. Comet's work as well as the models you were previously editing. Giving her some kinda small muzzle would help, doesn't have to be anything major. Then again she does look a bit more anthromorphic in the face in her sleeping pose, maybe the hair is just obscuring the nose.

Anyways that's my two cents

I hear ya. I've been struggling with trying to come up with a face that reflects Comet's work, but I just can't seem to get it right. I also might just be the angle at which we're looking at her. In her profile shots, I can definitely mimic Comet's Art as I have some good reference material to use as a base. Its just this one angle I can't find a suitable reference image to mimic... so i winged it.

I'm using an ATB-Style Battle System... when your turn is up, you need to select a command, and then (if necessary) select a target. Right now there is only 1 enemy, so the arrow pointing above him might be confusing you to think you are already targeting him, when in fact, my intent was simply to give the player an indicator of when the target is "target-able". hmm... maybe i'll update it and add two enemies to the first encounter.... brb...

I'm pretty disappointed by the body, especially because it doesn't look like Krystal so I edit it a bit:

When I was looking on the face you did gave her I noticed a thing that I have seen before when other people draw muzzles for the first time:

As you can see it kind of looks like you cut the muzzle in half or drew it in side view. When you draw a muzzle you don't use all those lines because that makes it look bad but it is good to have them in mind to get the structure more correct.

I'm torn...
After looking at more of comets other work, i feel just shifting the mouth over and adding another line gives a pretty good illusion of a muzzle (middle face). I made a very quick mock up using your sketch as a base for a muzzle face (right face)... and while it is a quick edit... i don't know. It has potential. i think i would have to rework the eyes to match yours... i'll give it some thought. I'm not to worried if it still borders the "anime human"-ish look. It might actually be easier to animate if it was an anime face.

As for the body... Proportions aren't too far off... I guess I just like my women to be a little slender then normal... :D
I've looked at so many different reference images of Krystal, I don't think Krystal has a standard... um... measurement?... figure?..
...yea...

Anyway, I agree with you, Katsu that she doesn't follow a "traditional Krystal", but It'll be my artistic deviant. :D

All I can say is work the head from the ground up rather than trying quick edits, since as you said yourself if you use katsu's suggestion for the muzzle you'll likely need to redo the eyes as well. sometimes a quick photoshop job works, other times it doesn't. The body proportions don't really bother me, to me it's always the face that sells it on reconizing a character. And like you said your proportions aren't too far off from katsu's. One thing you might want to consider would be adding some more definition to her muscles, most of all around her waist, other than that i wouldn't touch the body up at all.

I have no problem with the half anime styled anthro look either, some of my favorite artists go that route, and i personally think the middle face is the best of of the 3 and is the most like what comet would do. But it's your model, i say play around with the head till you're happy with it.

Great stuff AA! I look forward to watching this develop. I really, really, like the slim body more than the standard version of krystal, but I would definitely go with Katsu's muzzle adjustment.

Tale didn't look right on the first draft. On that new draft, it looks too.. poofy, needs slimming slightly. Fantastic mechanisms though. Very impressive.

In terms of face, either your first draft or the full muzzle. I actually rather like your take on Krystal. She looks great.

As with all games, I believe you should include a mute button.
