Daidrick smiled and looked at the guardsmen, "To those that have never been to Terra, or taken in the Autumn Soldiers Weapons, these Lasguns are powerful and rare, if one of you dies, be sure to take their weapon so that it doesn't fall into the wrong hands." He told them, "The Basilisks are in position, the minute they set foot out of the treeline, all hell will break loose." Then he chuckled, "Mainly because it wouldn't be fun to destroy the forest itself and possibly kill millions." Then Daidrick walked off to inspect the other Guardsmen units positioned along the first trench

Garian looked at Daidrick like he was mind as he walked away and looked at the others, "I didn't just hear him say that we coulda bombarded the treeline at anytime, did I?" He said, "Cause that would be a smart idea." He then chuckled and aimed again, waiting for the attack that would be coming soon now.

Ba'al just continues on with his 'flying ork skeet shooting' as orks flew threw the air from the artillery

Claire woke up from the explosion and rushed out to the front. "What's going on?!" she shouted as she prepared her weapons.

Who was responsible with explosions... Corvus didnt know but his genius was undeniable. Firstly denying first ork wave to get into close combat range, secondly reducing their meatshields. But still Corvus knew that it wasnt over. İf Orks get to close combat, then it would be desperate. So he stopped searching for a specialiased weapon and took aim for weak points in Ork armour. Corvus know that no normal lasgun or variants had strength to penetrate armour except for hotshot lasguns which was only given to imperial stormtroopers. Corvus knew all of this because of him. His mentor really had taught him well.

It was only an Hour before the large footsteps were heard again, this time in larger numbers, but during the hour, the Frontline was re-equipped with LasCannons and solid projectile weapons known as the 'Govnov' (Think AK47, reliable and deadly), though only a select few were given it as well as a note saying to keep it at all times, never abandon, and to pick up the fallen weapons and either strap them to ya, or use them. Daidricks promise for heavier weapons wasn't realized yet and some of the guardsmen began questioning whether his promise was false to keep their morale up, or if it hadn't arrived yet.

Katherine lets out a steadying breath and keeps her lasgun nained at the treeline. She could hear the sound coming closer, and figured it wouldn't be long before the green tide once again burst forth. "Come on you filthy Grox-sons. Show yourselves already..."

Corvus noticed a guardswoman. Lasgun in her hands she was scann,ng the treeline. Corvus grinned. He really didnt know why. He walked next to her.

"Katherine" she replied. She didn't shift her posture, still keeping her lasgun level. "And, if we're good enough, these frelling greenskins won't reach the trench"

Corvus looked at Katherine. While looking at his fellow guardswoman Corvus wondered... İt was one of his basic instincts. A need to learn about his comrades. "What was her story?" Maybe after this Corvus could ask. Still it seemed to him that Katherine was a duty first person. So Corvus was unsure on how to approach her... That and he wasnt normally good with people.
