Re: [New Poll 7/6] Pokemon: Pink Version (Update 12/18/15)

Okay I'm not even sure how to answer this, because there is no hierarchy of anything that is within my control other than the basic one of layers on the map. So you're saying that holding the key doesn't move you, and letting go of it does? Or do you mean the teleport square isn't working properly?

I had that bug happen. I don't know if you've tried it or not, but the way I fixed it was sleeping in the bed. It seems to trigger "unlocking" the upper floor.

For this bug if you keep trying to go up the stairs based on the stairs appearance you won't be able to ascend. I had this problem and I tried climbing the stairs at different angles and at some point it worked. It's a bug for sure but you aren't stuck in there until a new release.

I think thats not a bug, it's just super sensitive: if you are upstairs in that specific pokemon-center and you hit a, you'll go down again (happend to me too)

some other feedback (dunno if posted already):

to many random pokemon spawn (it gets annoying, especially if you are level 6 and the wild ones are level 3...)
in the fight after the moon mountain maze Team Rocket is too weak (they are level 3 and i am level 6)

and then that happen:

nothing can be done about the random number generator for the spawn time, and Team Rocket is a joke when it comes to strength anyway.

Yeah...wild pokemon are set to an 8% chance of spawning, for each field that you enter (it is slightly higher in the Viridian Forest, I believe 10%). No that value does not stack, but the game appears to register BOTH fields if you walk through two at once, which means on rare occasions you can get two battles back to back. In addition I think there is something wrong with the RNG used by humbird's engine because, once it starts registering in the low numbers, it stays there and you can get battles two fields apart. Or fury attacks that hit once, six times in a row, only to hit eight times when the last singular hit would wipe out the enemy. Unfortunately this is beyond our capability to change it. All I can do is set pokemon battle rates down, and from my earlier testing I believe this would mean a good chance of walking through the grass all the way along route 1 without a single pokemon battle.

As for a website, you could just set up a blogger blog for status updates. I am pretty sure a blogger blog is free to use and is already hosted. The only requirement is that you mark the blog and all its posts as adult content and obviously have a google account so you can set up the blogger blog. Sure it is a bit limited in its capabilities but for small status updates and/or version updates with a download link and info about the version, it should suffice as a website.

I know this game has some pretty erratic update times but is there a rough estimate of when the new version might come out? My guess is late September? I don't mean to rush you though, take your time.

Don't know if I should be announcing this without consulting DG but the tentative release date is at the end of this month. Depending on if we can actually get done what needs done. We're still really short on art, as all our artists appear to be having real-life problems getting to the project, and some of the maps (let alone the events that go on them) to finish chapter 2 are really hard for me to figure out.

I really like this game but i ran into a problem with my save in that if I try to paste it into the load screen so I can reload my progress I just get a black screen. Is it something I am doing or is it just a glitch in the game currently?

This date is tentative but we may release the chapter without the scene art...again. I've been pumping out 60-70 hour weeks at work and have had practically no down time lately. I've been told the slow season starts soon and I'll be able to having my regular schedule again. Meaning I'll be able to start dedicating more time to art.

I believe this is a known error. However, Val should be able to answer that.

There was a problem for the original maps up to pewter city that caused it so that the text save to not work properly, when loaded would lead only to a black screen, we have fixed it as far as I can tell.
But if there is a problem that will cause that in the next update in some areas, I will just warn you guys here so that you don't lose save files any more.

I can answer these two questions togrther. Technically we do have a patron account set up. We'really just waiting until we either have a steady amount of updates rolling out or when reach chapter 5. The former isn't likely to happen anytime soon due to White Vine and I being kept busy due to work and Val diverting time to create a new engine for us to use. So updates are sporadic at best which is why we haven't really tried to put up a news outlet.

Adding Charmeleon, Charizard, Kadabra, Rhyhorn and Rhydon to the list.

Took the poll down. I decided to use the serpent body for the main Dragonair and make the humanoid one a special morph that comes along later down the road.

Here's a sneak peek at some of the remaining morphs I have left to do. Of the ones I have left I do not have a base yet for Pidgeotto, Pidgeot or the redone Mewtwo.

Only 9 more morphs left, including the ones that need to be redone, until the 'dex is complete!

IT. IS. DONE!

Ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to announce that the Pokemorph Pokedex is complete! We finally have all concepts done. All 151 original pokemon.

Added in Alazakam, Dragonair, Moltres, Pidgeotto, Pidgeot, Seadra and Zapdos. They were the last.

Added trainers, Super Nerd, Super Nerdette and Swimmer M.

Updated Magnemite, Scyther and Slowbro.

Time to get caught up on the scenes!

I started a poll to see which pokemorphs people would like to see redone when I get to doing the horny and back poses. If you'd like to see any concepts updated or overhauled please let us know!

On a barely related note, once you've caught up the scenes and finished the horny and back poses, one thing I did like from Humbird0's game is that some trainers had horny forms. Just an idea.

Is Nidoran's head (both M and F) a placeholder? Because that's what it looks like. Bulbasaur's head is weirdly big too. I'll probably go through the full pokedex later to give you my opinion on all of them, but those just really bothered me.
