@Nevermindoff: I don't quite understand, what do you mean with 'sprite sex scenes'? Can you give me an example?

In-game animations not in a pop up window. Do you (game creator on "Legend of Krystal" forum) really need an examples?

Technically enginewise, everything's a sprite. So even the Scenes are sprites. I thought so you might mean the represantation for the characters on the map, but I just wanted to be sure we talk about the same thing.

Yeah well I guess everyone has a different oppinion on that. I certainly would like to try that kind of sexscenes as the thought also crossed my mind, but that would be for later. For now, we have to get everything set up and produce a playable version as fast as we can. That's our main goal for now, but of course there is a lot of room to try different things in the progress. So let's wait and see, but i'm really exited about the new possibilities that come with the engine (and not so exited about new bugs that will also come ._.) :D.

So far, a small update on the overall progress:

What we've done so far:
* Building the base structure in unity
* Implemented player movement and combat
* Added several maps (prison and forest) incl. objects
* Implemented enemies (there are actually four enemies in this version) incl. pathfinding and A.I.
* Implemented base resource system: enemies drop loot on death
* Added UI: menu, inventory and resources
* Added NPC dialogue UI

So that is quite a lot in a short amount of time. To get a better impression, here's another video of gameplay footage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmWCwWANyE4
Please keep in mind, that this is still an early version.

So far, I like what I see, but I'd be able to like it more if I could play it, so I'm looking forward to that!

Because we haven't released a build of the new version yet ;) We're working to implement and tweak as much as possible this week so we can give you something in the beginning of the next month. Cheers.

Hey guys,

so here it is: https://mega.nz/#!LoUWDYbZ!zZMKXqC39j4N ... ZL43z_dpHw

A small techdemo of the game made with unity. We tried to give you a general impression on how the game will feel, but of course there is still a lot of work to do. So please keep in mind that most things are still pretty rough, as we wanted to implement the most core features first before finetuning too much.

If you encounter any bugs, please report them to us. Also we appreciate any kind of feedback or *cough*support via patreon*cough*.

Stay tuned, cheers.

The growth of this game is exciting, I played one of the first versions, and have been looking forward to this update.

Keep expanding and growing.

I'll comment more after I've played the new version, but I'm fairly sure I'll like it.

THINK I found everything (what little there is)

pros:
real-time battle is actually easier, plus heal drops occasionally!
Honestly, I like her grunting occasionally as she's swinging the sword!

cons:
It's pretty bare as far as I could tell, just running around clobbering everything in sight (except hot catgirl)
seems to be no reason to do second house at this time
glitch? One of the prison rooms had a picture of her naked except for the cat-hood (which you can't get until AFTER you leave the prison) on the side. The picture on the side she's just there...I thought it was to indicate something special, but catgirl's in a different part of the prison

Overall this looks good, and I know this is just a *here's what we did so you know what to expect* demo!

You said there were animated sex scenes, but I only got the one with the catgirl. Was that the only one -- I wouldn't necessarily call that 'animated' ;P. If there's animates scenes with enemies, I couldn't get them to do it.

You can see how much it's changed. I would suggest a way to modify the keys to move / interact. I personally prefer to use the arrow keys to move if I am going to keyboard move at all, but that's my personal preference. Some people may be fine with moving with w,s,a,d, and interacting with the "e" button.

I died a few times from nothing more than no potions dropped when I was low on health, right now you start back up with no interruption of the game so no big loss, but it wounds my pride to die, even in a video game. :) You might want to consider a way so that if you are at full health you can collect say 3 of the life ups?

Other then that the game looks improved, I did manage to make both houses with a little bit of grinding and find my way to all the treasure chests. (I think).

I'll continue to monitor and look forward to the next update.

Thank You!

My, my... it REALLY has changed a lot!! :D

Congratz on a job well done. I'm also using Unity for starting something and you can only love what you can do with it. And this is a good example. ;)

Oh, and I also loved that Lofur reference to that game that, ejem... well, we all know what game he speaks of...

How DARE Lofur reference a different game! Not to mention that the heroine has no problems fixing his second problem! Do they think we are going to stand for this?! (YES!)

Took a little figuring out how to beat the boss but once I figured out how to avoid the attacks it was fairly easy. One question though: when you get the save/load system set up, will it make losing different? Right now it's just *restart same spot you are in* without much punishment besides that, will you be keeping that?

There no HP bar for the boss? When doing a pick and move battle, really like to know progress. If nothing else to make sure it's HP and kill combat, and not some puzzle style where you do something special on the map to win.
While I could dodge and hit well enough, without knowing progress, I didn't bother finishing the battle after spending about a minute.

Otherwise changes and stuff look good.

Look fantastic, and plays quite nicely too.

Thoughts:
* The asymmetry of enemy combat is a little weird. Much of the time I'm lower on the screen than an opponent I can hit them and they can't get an attack in
* There's a little graphical ambiguity early on as to whether you're allowed to squeeze past any trees.
* What are all the wooden crates doing out in the forest? Thematically they're odd, especially given that you're not allowed to interact with them. Mostly I found myself wondering why I needed to fight jugglers for lumber when there were all these crates.

Finally, a tiny wishlist thing:
It'd be nice if you could provide a copy of the Unity runtime for not-windows. (The data files are shared between all the different builds)
