I agree with Kuragari because everytime you go you just get the same old scenes this would mean you get some variety rather than the same constantly please think about it if you already haven't.

Eh, don't worry, I have my own plans for 2nd/3rd visits to the Chambers which will be implemented in later updates to keep it interesting. Thanks for the suggestion though. ;3

Hey, once again, I'm loving the game. Really enjoyed the Gwyn scene (though Nebula is still the one I want to see most of). Just wondering, but would you have an idea of when you'll have the next update done by? Not that I'm trying to rush you or anything! I'm just curious if you had a rough idea, since you gave us a fairly good ETA on the last few updates.

I figured the idea was already there, I simply figured I'd mention it to potentially get it in your head if it wasn't already there, and to incite more discussion :)

So erm, Is there a way to see how much 'purity' you have? I'm barely into the game, and I kinda wanna get an extremely whorish ending, or at least get it so that I can see every sex scene.

A question.

Can the weapons you get from defeating Xanrud be equipped? Cause I got the Widowmaker and Swordbreaker from him when playing as Cesca and can't use them.

Probably a decent estimate would be in about 2 weeks.
Right now, to check Purity, take a look at the mirrors in the Barracks or in the Chambers (so a bit later in the game).
And yeah, Xanrud's weapons will be equippable after the patch, so hang onto em I guess.

Is that when the next patch will be out or is that the time frame for the patch after this next one??

Yeah. I apologize but work has been keeping me pretty busy (or at least, it will this week) and one of my professors passed away the other day, so there are quite a bit of things going on at this time. Like I said, I still don't go by a single day without working on the game at least a little bit though, so it'll certainly get done around the aforementioned timeframe.

Fair heads up: Some sex scenes are actually going to require HIGH purity, but they're going to be pretty much the lovey lovey/more or less exclusive relationship ones, PERHAPS with some minor exceptions.

Pretty sure the majority will require low purity or end up lowering purity, though, specifically SINCE the ones that require high purity are going to be the clingy ones.

I could be wrong

But dem'z the plans as far as I understand them.

So, I'm having a little trouble, and since there are 32 pages I didn't want to search through them to find if this had come up before -
It seems like the game always thinks I'm pressing up, and possibly left as well, sorta similar to what happened on the old game systems if you held the control stick in a direction before turning the console on. Help, please?

What level are you fighting him at? There's several rooms that respawn enemies, so you can kill everything, leave, and come back in and kill everything again.

I don't know if anybody has encountered this issue or if I'm doing something terribly wrong, but I cannot move my character. I've struck just about every character on the keyboard. Tried rebinding with the F1 key menus. My arrow keys will make the character face up or left into the wall, but i can't face away or move. The arrow keys are movement correct? I feel MIGHTY unintelligent. And I really want to see this game everyone is freaking out about...

My level was at 6 and I used Katzbalger and Rondel as my swords.

KITAmaru Wrote:So sadly, this next patch will not really be huge on new areas or storyline, but definitely huge in terms of H-content, particularly for the low-Purity folks.

Awww... Well, I suppose that given that the previous update was pretty much perfect for me, I really shouldn't complain :)

I wasn't particularly worried, but I was glad to read you restating that you won't cut down on word amount: The writing is the best part of the game! Beside, when you can somehow write a "romantic" and "loving" scene with a slime that's double-penetrating you, it means that the text is a joy to read. And while it's not part of something I'll likely experiment, it's nice to know that there's also "low purity variants" for the character writing: I blindly assumed that it would be all "Give me your cocks" thing you see everywhere (blech). It's not making me want to willingly take a trip to the Chambers more, but it's still swell to know that this exist :) (Kind of like the 'Evil' options in the Dragon Age games: I never pick any of the blatantly evil or mean options, but the fact that the evil option actually exist makes my choice more meaningful and the game better overall).

For some reasons, I always remember Gwyn's name as Gwen... hopefully her correct name will stick in my mind eventually!

Edit.
Shadow3121: Do you have a controller plugged in your computer? I once played a game where I had to disconnect my controller since it kept doing exactly what you mentionned that no matter what I did... The problem stopped once I unplugged the controller and plugged it back in.

Ayra-
Hehe, sorry. Actually, you still might be able to have a little scene with Gwyn after you rescue her, at least (provided you meet the right conditions, which I'm sure you did...), depending on how quickly I get these other ones done. So far I've finished writing... technically 8 H-scenes total, if you count the Wolfram low-purity revision, and there's still... maaybe 2 more to go. Then I need to do all the other storyline-related writing and coding, so yeah.
Either way, no new girls in this one, you basically get to get your girl back, and for the low-Purity people, have a fun time in the stalls or seduce the bandit that pisses Wolfram off.

Shadow-
Hmm, for the people that are experiencing problems with their character only going 'up and left' it seems to be an RPGVX thing. Here's a little snippet from the FAQ in VX's wiki;
"At the title screen I can only move my selection cursor down and in game my character automatically moves left and up."
"Tainted Sun says: Has to do with device drivers installed for Saitek Eclipse keyboard (and possibly others). I went into the device manager and disabled the command pad and hotkeys and it works fine now."
"8063 says: Having a Nintendo Wii remote profiled in my bluetooth devices caused this problem for me."
