yeah, that's the blush glitch I was talking about that I couldnt make sense of..
there's a clone script to 'catch' the blush as it moves to new frames, only problem is that it spews out.. that.
if I remove semi-clone script, then the blush forces 200% alpha every time the face blinks.

I couldn't get the frames to sit still for the clothing system that was already in-game..
it's basically the same system for perma-mess, so I didn't even try after the first flop.
that's why..
IF I ever end up doing zone's KLK or whatever, I'll be ripping it all and re-building the game parts with my own code.

a lot of it is behind the scenes stuff, mainly trying to get things working properly.
the rest of the work either falls under character re-design or re-animating.

I had to re-key about 60% of the motions, and that's why the finish scenes are a bit wonky.
the end loops in particular went WAY off.
other than that, I had to paint about 4000 sprites of tenacles and fluid effects.
that took a while.
the old method was using hue values, but that boosted the lag by quite a bit.
there's still a few hue'd sprites in there, there's no way I caught them all.
