Eliza Sharpfang
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The Undead woman begins after a swift look at the other two. "I come from a village south of Mt.Heratolius. It was a quiet little village named Tennan. But it wasn't close to any other settlements or along any trade routes. It was pretty isolated, but it was very peaceful and everyone there were quite happy. Unfortunately there was a big avalanche and a lot of the village was destroyed. A lot of people had to move, me included. I moved to the town of Perrou and settle down as an assistant for an Alchemist until I was taken and branded as a slave a few years later.

"I myself am from Lorea." The woman simply says."I'm from Wyndja." The elven child said. Eliza had to wonder about Wyndja since it wasn't the name of any town she knew of, but she recognized Perrou one of the smaller cities close to Iriko and the name of the capitol being Lorea.

Aelius looked around the room and was displeased by all the magic being used over his head. He tried to keep an eye on the creature and parry any physical attacks headed in his direction. ''Hey Auri, whatever the history between you and that creature is, now is the time for a heartfelt apology.'' He wasn't going to attack it, that would be stupid, defending was the better option, though this short sword wasn't ideal for blocking. He grins, the knight could feel the adrenaline pumping in his veins, he's excited.

Faltering slightly, Auri seethes at the beast. "Bowing to one such as this will not make our deaths any less painful." Auri refused to submit to this monstrosity. Her only chance was to take it down before it could keep casting, flourishing her spear in both hands she dips low before lunging at the beast thrusting her spear at its core. Hoping it would be harder for her to use the spikes in closer quarters.

Auri Von'athem
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

(Auri's attack roll: 9.)
(Unidentified creature's dodge roll: 2.)

Despite the confidence the creature seems to have in it's own abilities, Auri manages to hit it. The enveloping darkness and teeth disappear as the creature flies into the wall, shrinking while leaving a splatter of blood where it hit the wall. As the creature hits the ground, it has already reverted into it's original form, a black cat. It doesn't get up again, blood pooling from it's grave injury. Auri had managed to shear of a big portion of flesh and it's left hind leg with her hit, leaving the cat to die of blood loss.

Maxwell will make a quick examination of the blood elf for injuries, checking the eyes for the hints of madness and bloodlust the race known for. He'll also try to recall why the slavers captured this one. Perhaps as a pit fighter, maybe?

Eliza listened closely to the three telling her where they were from. The undead shared a few additional details of her past as well. From the sounds of it she had been a slave for some time now, but Eliza didn't feel much like prying into that. She did feel particularly curious about the elf who hailed from a village whose name she was not quite familiar with. The others had not returned, so she seemed to have plenty of time for more chatter to pass the time. "I've never heard of Wyndja. Where is that?"

Aelius flinched as the elf speeded and lunched into the creature. He bit his lip, he would never get their in time to safe her from the horrible counter attack that was no doubt coming,.. Then he heard the familiar sound of metal piercing flesh, and the room reverted to normal. He lowered his sword and frowned at the cat. "So it was the witchcat stirring up all this trouble" he patted Auri on the shoulder . "Next time, we should coordinate our fighting, so you don't attack while I try to defend you!" He laughed at the situation, then grabbed the other swords. "At least these will be useful." He looked at the cat again, hoping to find keys on the body

Eliza Sharpfang
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

"It's not surprising." The Undead says. Neither of us know where it's located either, and neither does she. She's too young for that. All we know is that it's apparently a community of more civilized Wild Elves. Or, at the very least it's our guess based on what she has told us." The Undead explained while the small Elf looked at her worryingly. The Human deciding to simply keep quiet.

"In any case, it's impossible for her to return there now. She's already been branded like us." The Undead woman states and the Elf tears up and begins crying. "Dammit Luva! Look what you did." The Human scolded the Undead. "S-sorry. I wasn't thinking." Luva apologized.

Aelius Feralian
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The cat however didn't seem to have anything on itself on person. A few muscles still seemed to be trying to move but the blood loss was already too much for the ody to handle and is quickly stopped moving. Leaving the cat dead.

Vella Antina
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Vella found herself waking up on the cold stone floor. She recognized the corridor as the same one she had been in before when following the other two. She had foolishly lowered her guard and therefore been knocked out far too easy. The question was, what had happened while she was out?

Sitting up from the cold, hard ground, Vella rubbed her temple, groaning. Had she really been bested so easily... what was it by? Something had snuck up on her and beaten her by simply saying the word 'sleep'. This was why she tried not to piss off people with magic. Standing up, she brushed herself down and looked around seeing that she hadn't seemed to be moved. However, there was no sign of her assailant and the door to the storage room was now shut. Had whoever bested her captured the others... surely if that were the case, she would now be in a cell. Glancing around nervously, Vella crept closer to the door and listened in against the door to hear what was going on on the other side.

It was odd to hear that there could be a society people simply didn't know existed. Here there were three people at least two of them somewhat well traveled, and none of them have even heard of the place. Eliza jerks a bit when a thoughtless comment from the undead sends the young elf into a fit.

She really wasn't sure if there was anything she could do about it though. Even if she could find a way to take legal ownership of the girl there is still the trouble of actually locating her home. A civilization doesn't go unnoticed unless it wants to be and is very good at staying that way, so it would certainly be a challenge locating such a place.

Pulling her thoughts back into the moment she takes hold of the girl and hugs her. "There there, why don't you tell me a bit about your home."

Maxwell Brewer
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Unfortunately examining the Elf was made hard by her constant struggling and squirming.

(Maxwell's perception roll: 15. Success.)

Maxwell notices how the ropes binding the aggressive Elf are digging into her skin, chafing and irritating it to the extent that some places with much thinner skin have already begun to bleed. The fact that the Elf was still squirming only meant she was aggravating her own injuries. It was however hard to tell wethewer she was purpsely hurting herself or just hadn't noticed the pain in her attempts to get free. The other slaves beginning to cast worried looks at the Elf.

Eliza Sharpfang
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Unfortunately, it seemed to be the wrong thing to say as the Elf simply begins crying harder as the Human winces. "Um, she doesn't remember much about her home and she gets really upset whenever the topic comes up." The human clarified. "Personally, I think we should let her get it out of her system. We'we tried to keep her from crying ever since she got here because we didn't want an trouble with the guards. Now, since they're not here, it would be the best opportunity." Luva reasoned, only to get a stink eye from the Human. "What?" Luva asked.

Maxwell will capture her attention and look directly into her eyes as he speaks. "You have a strong spirit, but you are injured and only hurting yourself in the fight with the bindings. If you wish to be free of those bindings and have your injuries healed then I need you to listen. I swear by my magic I wish you no harm and want to help you. If you can promise me the same then share the magic you have with me. I will heal your wounds and free you from the bindings."

If she shares her magic Maxwell will follow through with his promise. Healing and removing the ropes that bind. If removing a binding is necessary to do before repairing an injury then that is what he'll do.

"Thank you." I say as the door swings open. Stepping out of the cell I watch as he goes in "I doubt I can be of use with what you are doing so I will scout ahead while you tend to the blood elf I will return shortly." if he has no need for her she heads off in seek of her clothes or others who must have escaped at this point.

Eliza's ears lay back as her attempts to console the girl completely backfired on her. She really wasn't sure what to do at the moment, so she simply held the girl tightly and allowed her to get it out of her system giving a slight growl at the other two to stop their bickering.

Maxwell Brewer
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

(Maxwell's perception check. 15. Success.)

The Elf ceases her struggling as she listens to Maxwell but he can tell that she isn't actually taking any of what he's saying in. She simply seems to be contemplating something before she smirks and relaxes. Maxwell realizes that her constant struggling combined with the blood has made the robes unwind slightly around the form and let her slip out of her bindings. Quickly, the Elf gets her right hand free and begins pulling at the ropes to loosen them further, now smirking behind her gag.

"Oh, no. Stop her!" Exclaims the Lesser Demon. The Orc lady gets up from the floor and begins walking towards the Blood Elf.

Eliza Sharpfang
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The Human quickly tires of bickering with Luva and instead begins trying to help with the Elven child. Realizing that trying to calm her down wasn't really working, she eventually settled to just hugging her and offering all the comfort she could. Luva simply decided to walk over to the bars and sitting down while looking for anyone's return.

Edna Claire
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

While leaving, Edna hears Maxwell speaking to the Blood Elf. Continuing to wander the corridors, she stumbles upon a door at the end of a corridor together with an empty cell. The cell containing a cot in contrast to every other cell and the lock seemed to be broken.

Maxwell will attempt a stunning spell on the blood elf. If casting a spell isn't a feasible option then he will attempt to grapple her free arm into a hold like he has seen the slavers use with unruly prisoners.

Though surprised to find out it the beast turned into what looked like the same cat as earlier Auri relaxes her stance, letting the bottom of her spear rest against the floor as she wipes a small bead of sweat from her brow.
"My body just reacted on its own, though I'm curious as to how you planned on defending us from such an attack. Never the less whats done is done, though if it is as what you say and this is indeed a witchcat, then we don't have time to just sit here chatting." She eyes the small cats form suspiciously, though she wasn't sure, it must have died from the injury she inadvertently given it when she had appeared here. Not wanting to test whether the rumors she'd heard are true or not, Auri was all the more eager to leave this place now that such a thing likely had a strong vendetta against her.
"Lets hurry and see if we can find what were looking for elsewhere." She says moving back towards the door.

Maxwell Brewer
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

With not enough magic at his disposal for any kind of spell, Maxwell instead attempts to grab the arm the Elf had managed to free.

(Maxwell's grapple roll: 14. Success.)

Maxwell manages to grab her arm and restrict her movement by holding her arm behind her back. The Half Orc comes over and sits down on top of her, grabbing hold of the Blood Elf's arm herself. "That was a close one." She mutters.
