It's a good idea, but I plan on having each outfit be exploited differently. One reason is because I want to have unique outfit graphics and unique attacks, making every new outfit really exciting to explore and see what happens. Beyond that, having every outfit be fully exploitable would make this goal somewhat unrealistic as it would either increase the art load immensely, or I would have to take the generic artwork approach where all outfits use similar or the same graphics (which I don't want to do).

Also, my issue with the tearing clothing mechanic is that I don't like games where torn clothes magically repair after battle. So, if I did torn clothing, I'd want to implement some form of realistic tearing where it stayed until you actually repaired it. That would mean I'd need to address NPC comments for when her clothing is torn, I'd need to address all the CGs to show torn clothing if it was, I'd need to figure out how to event the torn clothing properly. I just could not implement torn clothing half-assed, as it would drive me nuts.

The exploitable outfits was my plan to work around torn clothing. If he dress is pulled down, or her outfit is pushed aside, she could easily fix that after battle--or, if you use the option, she could fix it during battle. It would take an action to readjust her dress, and leave her vulnerable, but it makes sense. Plus, the torn clothing mechanic is pretty common place, whereas I've never seen a game doing what I'm doing. So, there is the innovative aspect as well, which I like.

Still, thanks for the comment. It is a good idea, and one I've thought a lot about.

I thought so too. For fixing torn clothing, I thought of going back to the lady that first gives you the dress so she could repair it (this time, for a price; it would also be unrealistic if she just fixed your shit forever for free), or a 'sewing kit' as an automatic EXPENSIVE alternative to having to talk to the old lady every time you got a scratch.
I guess you're right that the 'torn' mechanics are possibly too huge and messy to work with, and I like your idea of displaced outfits as a workaround.

I say this mostly because I'm concerned about the kind of H-Scenes that we're going to get at the moment. As fappable as it may be, I would prefer it if we had a little more than tit-groping for the 1st Chapter of the game, IF there's only the dress currently available, which brings me to the second question. How many outfits will there be available for the 1st Chapter? Will we be able to actually encounter H-attacks that actually involve the lower part of the character's body for this coming chapter? Would you say some the more 'exploitable' outfits still look decent? I would like to be able to get Aylia into some dickish situations without having to make her look like a slightly less weird version of Miley Cirus.

It won't be this week. If you're a $10 patron, the short beta period (2-3 days) will start either late next week or early the following. After that, they'll be an even shorter beta period for all patrons (1-2 days), then it'll go public. When I release it publicly, I want the bugs ironed out. I'd rather not have 3-4 versions floating around, 75% of which are bugged and give a poor impression of the game itself.

So, you might be suffering a bit longer. On the plus side, now that YT Gaming is chugging along, I can guarantee you won't have to suffer through anything like last year again. Should be 1-3 months windows between releases from here on out.

Could be. I'm telling you that until I've given a specific release date, I wouldn't assume it is going to be released in a day or two.

I'm a single person trying to develop a fairly detailed game. I'm not cutting corners, and I'm doing artwork for items, monsters, sprites, mapping, standing portraits, equipment, sex scenes. I'm also trying not to skimp on any of the above. Scene generally have variations, expressions. I have portraits that change for equipment, pride values, etc. This takes time, A LOT of time. I'm not running a monthly campaign, meaning, until about 3 weeks ago, I was doing this on an extremely limited time schedule (think 4-6 hours a week).

Now, I just ran my first pledged update on Patreon, meaning I just collected the first amount of any money at all for this project. That has allowed me to work on this 3-4 days a week as a job, in addition to whatever time I scrounge up outside of work. So, things are progressing much, much faster, but there is a lot to do.

I had considered releasing it all at once, but upon consideration, a 3-4 day beta period to squash any bugs is a far smarter approach to a public release. When things go public, if it is buggy, I get consumed in answering questions/concerns. It makes the product look worse, and it is impossible to control once it is "out there."

Long story short, yes, it could be a month. In the majority of cases, I'm producing a free game for people to play, so it is what it is.

Thats fine. What your doing makes sense. If your plan goes smoothly if could be done in 2 weeks minimum with all the bugs taken care of... but I doubt that'll happen.
