"Yeah," Clefine replied to Fe. "We've got our team of three already. Though we should check the information about where we're going. We don't want to go off somewhere loaded with types that we can't fight off if we need to. I can use Fairy, Normal, and Psychic attacks, what about you?"

"Well... I've got Steel and Ghost type attacks," Fe responded. "I've got more defensive moves than offensive moves, to be honest... but with those, I can definitely take on just about anything! They aren't gonna knock me down that quickly!" For the first time since getting up today, she has a big smile on her face.

"I've got SIng, Dream Eater, Dazzling Gleam, Doubleslap, and Defense Curl, so I'm 3 and 2 for offence to defence," Clefine replied. "I'll try to make sure that neither of you are in range when I use Sing, but maybe we can devise a signal I can give if we're too close so you can cover your ears." Clefine began looking around for Cotton's distinctively tall ears. "Let's see if we can find Cotton and talk some more about our quest."

Victor listened to all the questions, his own included, being answered and nodded. So they were going to be sending out the Rescue Teams soon? Good, now he just needed to find out who he'd been partnered with if the paperwork he'd signed last night with Bella had been approved. He wouldn't mind being partnered with Clefine, but judging from how she was with the Klefki last night, it seemed she was already taken. The Arcanine had said working with those you knew was beneficial, but he highly doubted Sandy the repairwoman and Bella the receptionist would be allowed to go with him.

Cracking his neck to the sides, the Tyrunt turned and headed towards the Rescue Guild building as soon as possible to find out what he wanted to know

"Mmm, well I have Flash Cannon, Reflect, Light Screen..." Fe began to rally off the moves she knew, but she seemed to pause after a bit, bowing her head in concentration. She was certain she knew 5 moves, but she had only known 3 up until recently... what changed? It was at this moment that she began to notice the new reservoir of power that was now brimming inside of her. "Oh! and Astonish and Metal Sound! Those were the last two! ... I didn't know them up until today, actually..." Fe exclaimed, a slightly puzzled look on her face. "Maybe I leveled up from fighting all those Zoura yesterday, and I didn't feel it until today..."

"Yeah, I'm the same with Doubleslap and Defense Curl," Clefine replied. "Not sure what I did to get the experience, since I missed the fight completely and just dealt with the aftermath, but I've never been an expert in the level system." Getting to a higher vantage point, she saw Victor heading off towards the guild houses. She wouldn't mind working with him, if they couldn't find Cotton before 11, but it was Cotton's mission originally, so she would wait for her first, even though there was still no sign of her.

Ashton

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Registration was...Surprisingly quick. Whether the process was always this quick or they had just sped things up for the sake of the situation, it was hard to know. But one way or another, you quickly found yourself signed up with the Rescue Team. There was some info you had to sign up, but once it was all said and done, you had been given a small card with your information on it and the emblem of the rescue team, proving you to be a part of it. Luckily for you, it seemed like there was already a group forming up and ready to go...Well, sort of. It only had one member, at the moment. A female serperior, a guild veteran, you could only guess, she slithered her way closer to you with a big smile. "Well, hello there. Seems like we'll be teaming up, hmm? My name's Judith." She presented herself, taking your hand and shaking it happily. "We're uh...Still missing a member, but perhaps we can go look for one together, yes? Oh, about this mission." She pulled out a small paper from her pockets and, once unfolded, described the contents for you.

"So, long story short. We're heading for Midnight Sun Gorge, it's a very chilly place up to the north of the Continent. Mostly populated by Ice Pokemon, too. But here's the thing, remember that Zorua pack that showed up yesterday? They're supposedly hiding out in there. We're expecting we can sneak our way in and out before we meet up with that Zoroark pack leader, but they kidnapped a bunch of refugees before we scared them off. No idea how many we'll be able to rescue, if any...So we're assuming the worst, but we gotta head there and try to find them and bring them back, if we can. Can't just leave them there to get their butts done by that bunch of Zoruas again and again, can we?" She stated, then nodding her head. "You know anyone we could bring along?"

Twiggy

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

As his luck would have it, once Twiggy had signed himself up to go on an explorer expedition, he found one particular place that was calling out his attention. Apparently, they wanted someone to head out and scout a location here in the Mist Continent called the "Pumpkaboo Forest" but had been unable to get a team in that place yet because a Pumpkaboo or Gougergeist was necessary for them to actually get in the place...Well, Twiggy definitely had one part of that down...Regardless, even if he did get Hallow or October to help him into the forest, he'd still need to gather up two team mates to go with him...Glancing around the files for the different missions, there was also a small group of other files which contained information on all currently registered Guild Members and where to find him. The Infernape and the Torkoal he had spotted earlier were apparently siblings and did indeed both work at the bath houses...But hey, they did have their names registered here in the Guild's files, so they were definitely available to go out on a mission with. Regardless, unless he went with the two of them, he would still need to find someone else to tag along...

Clefine and Fe

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Your talk was interrupted as the two of you were approached by Khan, the guild leader himself, who handed over a small map to the two of you. "Here. You guys asked for information about Flagstone cave...I got this map of how you can get there...Can't map the place itself since, you know, Mystery Dungeon, but hopefully this is good enough to help you get there. By the way...I opened up a slot for a fourth member to join this expedition of yours...We just received some weird reports from things that happened around that area, so, you know, better safe than sorry." He nodded, crossing his arms. "Speaking of which...Where's Cotton, you guys seen her?" The leader questioned, rubbing his chin.

Victor

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Arriving at the desk, Victor quickly caught on that there was something new in there. They had erected a massive board with a bunch of small notes on it, each of them referring to a mission or assignment, most of them already had a bunch of names filled out on them, but there were plenty with names missing or lacking. While the amount of rescue team members wasn't small, there were apparently A LOT of people that needed rescuing right now...No wonder, all things considered...

Regardless, Victor was presented with three choices. Glancing to the side, he saw a female Serperior and a male Vulpix (Ashton, check his post for the Serperior's appearance) having a chat, having just caught the end of her question about there being anyone else Ashton knew to call along. Alternatively, he could wait, as the Belossom would inform him once he asked around a bit, some people were still being sorted out into missions, his name was among the ones that had not been decided on yet. Or, he could indeed try to get into contact with Clefine, Fe and Cotton, as their little expedition had been added on to the job board as well, though a fourth slot had been allowed for this mission.

Aeryn

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

"Oh, you want to go have a look at the towns?" Flora questioned, seemingly a bit surprised someone would even offer themselves for such a task. "It's nice that you did, actually! Me and Khan were discussing keeping those missions exclusively to those who volunteered...It's...Quite a rough thing to demand of someone." She stated, nodding her head slightly. "Yes, of course, we have somewhere...Another town, by the name of Cloud Town. It's far to the east, high up in the mountains...But we can't just send you on that one alone, Roland, my second in-command, will be accompanying you on your way there." She stated, snapping her fingers to get his attention.

The Drapion got up from his seat and walked up to you, crossing his arms. "Oh...You. So I'll have to babysit you, I guess? All right." He stated, scratching his cheek slightly in thought. Flora glared angrily at Roland for a bit before a big smile appeared on her face. "You'll still be missing a third member though...Roland, why don't you bring your new girlfriend along, too?"

"WHAT?!"

"You heard me, Rikku is her name, yes? She's part of the Explorer Team too, no? I'll get her signed up for this mission. Let me know when the three of you head out."

Glori

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

"Oh please." The female Glameow chuckled, her brother quickly moving to her side as both of them took up battle positions. "Using Double Team to try and trick us? We're the thieves here and that's the oldest trick in the book!" She giggled, before both of them charged at you, baring their claws as they tried to scratch down you and your clone. Each of them went for one, Lloyd wasted his attack as he attacked your close, his attack only causing the clone to fade as he growled in annoyance over having gone for the wrong one...Lina, on the other hand, managed to land a hit on you, her claws ripping through your belly and opening a painful wound.

23 DAMAGE! 12 HP LEFT.

...Oh boy.

Once Khan handed them their assignment, Clefine turned to Fe. "I'm not sure whether to be excited or worried that we can bring a fourth with us. But either way, we could ask Victor. His Dragon moves may only be super-effective against other Dragons, but not much is resistant to that type of damage. And he'll probably be great on defense. Unless you have other ideas?"

Glori growled in pain as the claws dragged across her stomach, but she stood her ground. This is the moment she's been training for all her life. She tried her best to hold back the tears and instead let out a strained chuckle.

"That all you got, fur ball?"

She dashed forward toward the female Glameow, using her wings as a boost of moment, and *swung her right wing in an uppercut motion* at the cat's face. She hoped it was weak enough to be taken down in one shot by her. Otherwise, she knew she was in serious trouble.

Ashton found the sign up process was rather quick and painless. Granted with the emergency situation there is the chance it's been streamlined to get all the help they could. Soon enough he was handed a card and an emblem marking him as a member of the rescue team. He had to hold back the desire to jump with excitement when it was presented to him. Well more handed than presented as the secretary didn't seem to find it that big a deal, but it certainly was to Ashton. After placing his new possessions in his pocket, he found himself recruited on a mission rather quickly as well. He smiled at the rather busty Superior who greeted him. "Hi Judith, I'm Ashton." He spoke shaking her hand back.

It seemed they would be traveling to Midnight Sun Gorge to chase down the Zorua pack from yesterday. The ice types up there would certainly give him a chance to shine. He was a little concerned about taking a grass type up there, but he supposed the guild would know what it was doing. If they were lucky maybe they'd even find someone who'd managed to avoid infection up til now. He scratched his head thinking about the people he'd met recently. "Yeah I remember the Zorua. I was waiting to get in the gate when they attacked. How are we planning to deal with that Zoroark though? I kinda saw how it handled the Flareon that was watching the gate." He shivered a bit at the memory. He was certainly not looking forward to being handled like that by the mighty herm. "I've met a few people since I got into town. Though I don't know where any of them are right now." He of course had been too focused on his thoughts and the sinuous lady before him to note Victor was easily within sight if he'd just turn around. He started to recount some of the people he'd met in the last day. "There was the Yamask Youssef, Victor a Tyrunt, and the Glameow twins Lloyd and Lina at the gate. I haven't seen the twins since the attack but the rest I saw after. Once I was cleared by the medics I also got to meet a Clafairy named Clefine, Cotton the Lopunny, and Rikku a Meowth. There was also Tori the Torkoal from the hot springs." He tried to hide a slight blush as he mentioned her. He decided not to mention meeting Basil as Ashton was sure he had his own important duties.

Well this has certainly thrown a wrench in Twiggy's plan. Oh he is rather grateful that he knows the name of the two attendees at the bathhouses, even musing over the Infernape being called Carl. It's not a name he would suspect, but he's not one to complain about it. No, what is getting to the Chespin is the fact that it's a four person team and he's pretty much going to be roaming around not only the Guild for team members, but perhaps town with the news about this dangerous forest that needs either a Pumpkaboo or a Gourgeist to get inside. He's simply missing a fourth member and that's it. Now who else he could get to help him out on this... there were those two girls he was with yesterday, the Ralts and Lopunny, but he hasn't got a clue as to where they went off to since he stuck around the motel and got some work done there. Maybe while he's heading to the bathhouse he can look around for them... yeah, he's going to do that. On the plus side this can let him look out for anyone else who want to join him!

As he heads on over to the bathhouse, he thought about the other members to his team, one of who is going to fill up the fourth slot. There are not a whole lot of Pokemon he knows in this town since he arrived here, and he really should fix that, but otherwise the only other Pokemon that comes to mind is Rena. It'll be good to have a Psychic Pokemon, but Twiggy isn't sure about bringing along a regular civilian out into the wild and into a Mystery Dungeon. The same could be said with Hallow and October, yet getting into the Forest requires them, so there is that bit of a conflict. Hopefully it's not that big of an issue, as all they need is one of the sisters to help open the way and it's leaving the rest of them to fend off any aggressors as they explore. Twiggy should be able to defend them all, right?

Oh wait, he was supposed to be looking out for any other potential companions for his team and he made it to the bathhouse without realizing it. Twiggy smacks his face, feeling forgetful about looking out for any other good Pokemon, even seeking out that Ralts from earlier. It's fine, surely there are going to be some Pokemon in the bathhouse along with getting either Tory or Carl to help out on this. Twiggy is hoping to get Carl to come along, as it'll be nice to have the dual typing of Fire/Fighting on the team and someone else has to look after the bathhouse with one of them away on assignment. Hopefully either of them don't mind heading out with the Chespin, as this could be helpful in curing the disease infecting the land. Looking around the bathhouse, Twiggy walks around to see where Carl is at and ask him about joining his team, while being on the lookout for any other Pokemon to help round out some coverage.

"No Mr. Khan... we haven't seen Cotton at all," Fe addressed the leader with a shake of her head. "We were just wondering about her ourselves. I mean, she couldn't have gone far, right?" She then turned her attention to Clefine and said, "Well, I don't know anyone else in this place that well, so... no, I can't recommend anyone else. Although, that's going to be a problem if we can't find our bunny mon, right? We'd still only have 3 with the addition of Victor... whoever he is, anyways? You said a dragon type, right? I don't know many dragons... they tend to stay away from me, hehe." Fe seems to give a wide grin at this fact, probably having plenty of experience in dealing with those types.

Victor raised an eyebrow as he looked over the board though he soon was scowling, having seen his name on the list of people they weren't sure what to do with yet. Resisting the urge to growl loudly at this, he instead glanced around to see what his options where. The large knockers on the Serperior were a definate magnet though he decided to try and find Clefine and her team to see if they'd left yet. Hell, maybe they hadn't filled that fourth slot in the team just yet, so the Tyrunt could offer his assistance

OOC: oops, didn't even notice Khan's question at the end of that. Sorry boss!

"Yeah, nobody likes to fight something that they can't hurt," Clefine replied to Fe. "Victor's a Tyrunt, so he's Dragon and Rock type. And he's....the guy I was making all of that noise with yesterday..." she finished with a blush.

To her great surprise, Aeryn managed to get into one of the teams to discover the fates of the towns transformed into mystery dungeons. Not quite expecting herself to actually be exploring, she blinked in surprise, twice, before she slid back into her neutral face once more. Then, she immediately swapped to her fearful face, as the rather scary Drapion returned. Eyes watering, she hid behind Flora for a second.

Cautiously, she listened on the exchange, and wondered: Was there another scary one accompanying her?

Clefine, Fe and Victor

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Khan blinked a few times, rubbing the back of his head. "Oh, so that was the two of you, huh?" He chuckled. "Well, it's good to see you're all getting to know each other...I guess...If it can be classified as that." The big Arcanine simply shrugged, before glancing over his shoulder to spot Victor himself approaching the group. "A tyrunt, so you must be this Victor fellow I was just told about. Well, I'll leave the three of you to discuss how you'll be handling this. Just let me know when and with who you'll be heading out, if you do. You can leave before 11:00, if you want to get things done." He stated, nodding slightly and heading back into the guild, unless stopped.

Glori
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Lina let out a loud, confused "Eh?!" as you lunged right at her, your wing arm glowing brightly before you unleashed an attack upwards against her chin!

29 DAMAGE! LINA FAINTED.

Your strike connected, slamming against her chin and sending her flying a short distance up in the air before she toppled over and fell on her back, knocked instantly unconscious with the strike. With that, however, Lloyd got rather irritated! "Hey! That's my sister, bird brain!" He growled, before you suddenly saw him stretch his hand out and focus for a bit, the claws on his hands being enveloped with a dark aura before they grew slightly. "You're gonna pay for that one!" He warned, now brandishing his honed claws.

Ashton

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Judith seemed to rub her chin in thought as you mentioned all of those people. "I see...Well, we still have room for one more person and plenty of time, so which of those do you think we should try to get on our little team? Oh and we're not actually looking to fight the Zoroark, heck, Roland himself, the guy who fought it, warned people that it was a tough opponent. So, this will mostly be a stealthy mission, we'll only fight if we have to. Ideally, if we get into any fights with any of the Zorua, we should retreat and regroup." She explained, a big goofy smile on her face. "Which is why they picked me for this, too. Master of hit and run here, you'll see." She affirmed, nodding slightly. "One way or another, we still have plenty of time before we actually set out...So, why don't we go and meet up with some of these people you mentioned? I remember seeing a Yamask sign up for the rescue team yesterday...Could've been your friend there."

Twiggy

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

As you're around the guild's bath house, it doesn't take long to find Carl or Tori. It doesn't help that the bath house is almost devoid of any clients at the moment, probably due to the fact it's pretty early, too. The only other person around is a female Sandshrew who is cleaning up the tubs with a big mop...She's a Guild Member, no doubt, but you get the feeling she's probably not really the fighting type...Well, not as in FIGHTING type, as in, the type who actually fights- You got what I meant. Regardless, Tori and Carl were currently setting apart some bath salts from what it seemed, they were in a small room filled with a big variety of them, which they carried with them when they went into the baths proper to heat them up, no doubt. Seeing you, they turned to greet you, Carl speaking up while Tori simply gave a wave and turned to her salts. "Ah, hello there. I don't think we've met, I'm Carl, me and my sister Tori here handle the bath houses..."

He happily grabbed your hand and shook it vigorously. "It's uh...Nice to meet you. You were at the announcement, yeah? I remember you, one of the few other people around who don't actually wear that much clothing." He stated, taking a moment to look you all the way down up to your face, sticking his tongue out a bit. "Sorry to disappoint, but the bath house ain't open yet...Sunny there is still cleaning stuff up and what not...We'll be open later, if you want to come around though...I'll be happy to warm you up." No implications here, none at all. "Smooth, Carl...Can you stop hitting on people and help me find the damn camomile salts?" Tori called out.

Aeryn

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Roland grumbled, annoyed, rubbing his temples. "Fine...I'll let her know. But let me check it with her, first. I'm not going to...Demand her to come along." He spoke, sounding a bit flustered. Flora rolled her eyes. "She's part of the guild...She's SUPPOSED to go on expeditions, you know." Roland shook his hands. "That's not the point just...Just...-sigh- I'll be right back." The Drapion concluded, heading off to meet up with Rikku and inform her of this mission. Flora sighed some and turned to Aeryn, patting her on the head. "Don't worry, Roland has a big guy act but he's a big softie inside. And he's very dedicated too, I'm sure he'll do his best to keep you and his "girlfriend" safe." She spoke, smiling softly. "But uhm...He's still just one Pokemon...And we're not exactly sure of what to expect from this Mystery Dungeon...Mystery Towns...So, while he watches your backs, I need you to watch his, okay?" The Guild Leader stated, patting your head reassuringly. "Hm...Actually, I'm wondering if we should get a fourth member to come along for that...What do you think yourself, Aeryn? Bigger numbers or would you rather keep it a three poke team? I always say, one's intuition is the second strongest tool they have." She questioned, turning to you. The mere fact that she was asking you this instead of taking the decision herself was...Kind of scary. It just went to show just how little even she knew about these dungeons.

"Oh. Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh..." Fe says in response to Clefine's comment, slowly realizing why she spoke favorably about the Tyrunt in the first place. When Kahn spotted the mon in question, Fe turned to look at him, and tilted her head in curiosity. "... Why does he have such weird hair?" Fe questioned. "Is that a thing that all Tyrunts have, or just him?" Either way, Fe couldn't help but get a feeling of annoyance looking at the Tyrunt, mostly because he got to Clefine before she did, and she was already quite attached to the Clefairy who had treated her so well in such a short amount of time.

"The bitch scratched me first! She could have killed me!"

Glori felt pumped from being able to take out the Glameow in one shot. She felt confident that she could easily take out the other one. She just had to defeat him before he got the chance to use those sharp claws.

"You had your chance to end this peacefully. I'm not going to stop until the two of you dirty thieves are beaten and rotting in a jail cell!"

Glori flew forward again and hit Lloyd in the gut with a *left wing hook*.

Ashton gave a sigh of relief to learn they wouldn't be looking to take on the Zoroark. It seemed they were to get as little of the Zorua pack's attention as possible while making their rescue. He wondered just what made Judith such an expert in hit and run. Well, he guess he'll find out during the mission itself. "Well if you saw Youssef signing up yesterday that'd probably be our best lead, so lets try that first."

Though Judith said she only saw Youssef yesterday, so they'd still have to figure out where to find him. "I guess we can ask the receptionist if she knows where to find him." Walking up to the reception desk, "Hi, sorry to trouble you, but do you know where I could find Youssef? I guess he signed up with the Explorer Team yesterday."
