Aeryn woke with a start. She was on the couch in an unfamiliar room. What happened? She thought back to her time at the hot springs... Ah, right. She had left the hot springs refreshed, but exhausted. She had met Flora somewhere along the way, and then she had dropped dead asleep the moment she got on the couch, after no very much insistence.

She stifled her yawn and headed out the door, intent on getting to the meeting soon.

Glori wiped the sweat off her forehead in exhaustion. It had been a long trip, but one she was eager to take. She normally would have been doing warm ups with her classmates at this time. That is, if her classmates weren't currently having an orgy in the gym thanks to the plague that over-swept her school. She was here to find a cure to save her classmates, and possibly become the strongest out of them on the way.

She can't help but smile at the aftermath of the battle. She loved the thrill of the fight, nothing made her feel more alive. This, in addition to the booming announcement, helped Glori wake up for the morning. She was about to head off to the town square to see what the commotion was about, but let her curiosity get the best of her as she followed the tracks to the cave. Maybe she would meet a new friend. Or even better, a rival.

Last night was certainly a turn of events. Twiggy wasn't expecting to lose on the level he did, but also Hallow as well. October just swept through that game, buying everything she landed on and getting every single property from them. Then again, Twiggy had some terrible rolls, ended up in jail six times, two times were when he got out. All of that money got burnt, and all of it went to the Gourgeist whenever she landed on Free Parking. And just for the icing on the cake, bankrupting on the lower-costing properties was just embarrassing. He was the first to go, leaving him to watch October clean up with Hallow all over the board. It was a fight until the end, but that uphill battle the Pumpkaboo went up against just wasn't enough.

Now it feels like Twiggy has gotten royally butt-fucked after that game... actually, he did. More so from Hallow as he wakes up and finds the sleeping Pumpkaboo next to him, sleeping rather cute as they share a bed in the girl's room. He recalls saying something that with the deal October made, it might be good to get one night in with each other before going along with what the Gourgeist has in mind. And now here's the Chespin waking up to find the cute Pumpkaboo sleeping away, feeling the after-effects of last night's fun time... or it could be his imagination. They could have simply gone to sleep and he's imagining things that could have happened. Whatever did, during the night Twiggy felt something in him, something that could make him stronger and take on the dangers out in the wilderness.

Whatever occurred last night when he slept, he welcomes this new change.

Now that the Chespin is awake, he gives himself a good stretch before rolling out of bed and starting to get his day started. Before he can do anything to get himself ready to tackle the day, there's a shout coming from outside, telling everyone in town about that meeting is happening very shortly. Twiggy lets out a sigh, groaning that he has to go out so soon and not enjoy himself, but he has some business to take care of. There is something important that the two Guild Leaders have to say and he should get what they have to say before heading off to do what he wants to do today. So, he gives Hallow a kiss on her head before heading out of her room and making his way out of the house to head to Town Square and check out the meeting.

Clefine and Fe talked a bit more over dinner (mostly Fe, Clefine was content to listen), and then went back to Clefine's room. "We can figure out if you need paperwork tomorrow," Clefine yawned. "I'm ready to hit the hay." She took care of her nighttime hygiene, and then stripped down to her panties before slipping into bed. Concerns about what the announcement was supposed to be earlier, and now this mission to take care of, made sleep difficult until she cuddled around Fe, and she took comfort from the feeling that she wasn't alone.

Victor just nodded when she handed him the key, glancing at the number before heading off to get some sleep after the eventful day, though he was plagued by thoughts of what ifs, what if he'd caught onto the Glameow's tricks earlier, would he have made a difference in the attack if he'd been earlier?

By the time of the announcement, Victor had been awake for at least an hour beforehand and was in the middle of exercises to clear his mind. He was halfway through a push-up when the voice spoke, breaking his concentration. Climbing to his feet, he got dressed once again and headed out to hear what this special thing the guild leaders had to say was

Fe managed to keep her mouth running throughout most of their time through dinner, sometimes not even stopping to finish eating before saying something. Most were about stories of her growing up in the mountains, although there was a bit of talk about Claw Town as well. At the mention of paperwork, Fe just gives a small nod, not really interested in it at all, before finishing up the rest of her meal and tagging along with Clefine. Unlike Clefine, however, she hardly removes any of her clothing, and is a little bit surprised that Clefine strips down... not that she minds the view at all. She does, however, remove the key strapped to her side and the keys in her hair, admittedly with great hesitation, before climbing into bed. She's out like a light before Clefine can wish her goodnight.

When the sun breaks, Fe shifts slightly in Clefine's grasp, trying to adjust her shut eyes away from the rays of light. "I'm the... princess of metal... you can't tell me... what to do...." Fe mumbles, one of her hands lifting upwards and accidentally grasping one of Clefine's exposed breasts, before immediately snapping awake. She looks over to her hand, then to Clefine, and finally registers what she is doing. She quickly pulls her hand back, and for the first time in awhile, a scarlet blush forms on her face as she tries to back up slightly... only to realize that Clefine had her tightly snuggled up with her. "Ehehehe..." Fe gives a rather nervous chuckle, as she hears the announcement going off. Feeling like it could be important, Fe tries to shake Clefine awake, saying, "Wake up sleepy-head! We need to get moving! Mr. Khan has an announcement to make!"

"Huh?" Clefine mumbled as Fe shook her awake. She's not usually a morning person. She wakes up rather quickly at Fe's words, however. "Oh! The announcement!" she gasps, and quickly gets up and begins getting dressed. Her clothes from yesterday are back from being laundered, so she puts on her sharp blouse and skirt, with her sexier bra and panties from last evening underneath, rather than the more conservative set that had been washed. She also pulls on her lab coat after slipping on her shoes. She has a feeling she may need it, even though it means her wings are now pinned to her back. Fe is already ready to go when she finishes, and they headed outside to wherever the announcement would be given together.

All at Square

Soon, there was a large crowd formed in front of the podium that had been set in the town square. A bunch of Pokemon, were spread all around, chatting and conversing with each other. Everyone was here, from the Belossom secretary, to the Hospital Staff. From the two siblings who handled the hot springs, Tori and Carl. October and Hallow were watching from a bench, a bit away from the main crowd, even Snow and the Aggron were there. The high-ranking members of the Guilds were there too, Flora and Khan sat patiently at the forefront. With Roland and Basil just arriving to get their seats as well, breaking up the tense moment a bit, Khan opened up his arms at the sight of Basil. "You son of a Bidoof! Long time no see, eh, Basil?" Both of them quickly greeted, smacking their hands together and connecting up into a handshake. Meanwhile, Roland walked up to sit next to Flora, who glanced at him with a raised brow. "You're a little bit late...I heard you were...Busy, last night? Poffins, really?" Roland flustered up, grumbling. "H-How the hell did you hear about that so soon?!" Flora giggled. "Oh I heard A LOT of things...Perhaps later we should have a talk about proper conduct while within a medical environment?" Roland slowly dropped his head to the side, letting out a long, tired sigh.

With that out of the way, however, Khan finished up his catch up with Basil and approached the podium, taking on a bit of a somber expression. He cleared up his throat and tapped a small microphone that had been placed in there for his use. "Good morning, citizens of Claw Town. It's been four days since the first case of Aphrodisiakon...Three days since we began gathering up all of you here in this town...And I'm sure you want to know, what is going on? What are we doing? What will we do? I'm here to answer to hopefully answer all of those questions, I'll keep a time after I'm done talking to answer any questions you might have, but first, there are a few...Circumstances, we need to share." He took a deep breath and turned around, pulling up, with the help of the other guild members, a huge white screen, for which Roland quickly set up a small projector. They put it to work and, before long, Khan would have a small device in his hands, which he would use to shift around a bunch of images on that screen they had just set up.

The first image was that of a box, more specifically, a big rectangular red box, which an astute eye would spot to also be in Flora's hands during that presentation. "...Right...So." Khan continued. "We have good news...And...Uhm...Less than good news." He cleared up his throat a bit. "The uhm...Box, you see here. Contains an old artifact which we...Believe, could help us find a cure for Aphrodisiakon."

"Awww shit, I should've charged more for that."

"This box contains an artifact. An artifact to summon a very old and ancient pokemon, who supposedly could heal the worse of illnesses. We think that Pokemon should be able to help us out...Or at least point us in the right direction. But the box is unbreakable, we need a key to open it...And the fragments are scattered, all around the Mist Continent, we'll be setting out expeditions to go and look for those pieces." He stopped for a bit, holding the device controlling the slides tightly in his hand. "That being said...Basil here was off visiting the other continents in search of help." The moment he pressed the button, the atmosphere around the square instantly seemed to darken. The following image was that of a map of the whole Pokemon world, all of the other continents but the Mist Continent marked with a big red "X". "They have refused to assist directly, for they fear their members might infected or bring the disease to their land...Basil wasn't even allowed into some of the continents. We're alone in this." Khan spoke, taking a deep breath. "And now...For the actual bad news." When he pressed the button again, the crowd was sent into nothing short of confusion. Questions instantly popped up? Some just didn't understand the picture.

"This is...An...Attempt at a map, from one of our scouts who went to try and search around Noe Town." A few of the people in the crowd instantly began speaking up. That looks NOTHING like Noe Town! Was this a bad joke? This wasn't the time to try and be funny! "No, it's not a joke. We went to check everywhere else, too...I'm afraid to say that...All of the towns, that were abandoned during the evacuation...Have somehow turned into Mystery Dungeons." There was a heavy, foreboding silence settling on top of the crowd at the square, Khan pressed the button one more time and there were no more slides to show. "...I'll answer your questions now, if there are any."

Following the tracks, you quickly found yourself with two Glameows, a brother and sister, apparently. Sleeping on sleeping bags...But, that wasn't really what called your attention. What did call your attention was that, all around them, there was A BUNCH of money, not only in money, but also in possessions, there were jewels, accessories...There was a wealth of well over a fair thousand of Pokédollars in there. The moment you stepped inside you accidentally bumped on a few rocks, causing them to rumble just enough for the two Glameows to grumble, slowly starting to wake up. "Urrgh...Lloyd, is that you?" The female one questioned, glancing around dazily.

Clefine's first reaction during the announcement was one of relief. Her family was safe from all of this, off on a continent far south of Mist. Her reaction quickly shifted to one of concern at the announcement about Mystery Dungeons. She was familiar with the idea, there were many such areas in the region surrounding her home, but she'd never heard of a TOWN becoming a Mystery Dungeon! As soon as Khan asked if there were questions, her hand shot in the air. Once she was called on, she would ask if there were any clues to where the key fragments could be.

Stood in the crowd, Victor scowled as he heard the news. He'd heard of Mystery Dungeons, but that was what they were supposed to be. Dungeons. How the living hell did an entire TOWN become a dungeon? And the news about the other continents was rather worrying. On the one hand he could see why they were hesitant to help, not wanting to possibly become infected themselves, but it was still utter bullshit they refused to even attempt to help.

Scowling, the Tyrunt took in a deep breath as his eyes locked onto Khan stood up on the podium and raised a hand to ask a question himself. Should he be selected, he'd ask "How many teams are being sent out, who picks the teams and how soon are we going to check out the town?"

Ashton was able to make it to the square just before the announcement got underway. The crowd was already packed, so the vulpix watched from quite a distance in the back. He could just barely make out the figures standing on the podium. Thankfully, the announcements were made loud and clear even from this distance. When Khan was done speaking Ashton gave a sigh of relief; there was at least some good news coming out of this. The fact that they had a lead on a solution was more promise than they had yesterday even if it involved scouring the entire continent for a key that was apparently in pieces. The news about the lack of help from the other continents was upsetting but not at all surprising. The guilds had been setting up quarantine zones; breaking all contact with Mist Continent was simply doing the same on a much larger scale for the other continents. The strange architecture that had overtaken Noe Town was quite disturbing in and of itself. Ashton wondered if there was anything left of Noe Town still recognizable in that mess of stairs.

When Khan made time for questions one important one did come to Ashton's mind. Khan mentioned pieces of the key with great certainty, so they must have a decent source on that. Raising his hand the vulpix shouted over the crowd, "Do we have any idea how many fragments this key is in?"

Glori found it strange that those Glameow siblings were keeping all of their wealth out in the open. She had desire to steal any of it though. There's no sport in easy pickings and praying on the weak. She immediately speaks to the female Glameow in kindness as she wakes up. She wanted no sort of trouble from them.

"You're lucky no one mean or mischievous found you hear. You would have been goners."

She waits for the Glameow to further wake up before introducing herself.

"My name is Glori. I just got here. How'd you manage to get all this nice loot? No offense, but you two don't really seem like the rough and tough types."

So far things could have gone a little bit better for the Chespin. Had he gotten to things a bit earlier, he would have gotten himself a good spot. Instead he ends up getting caught up in a wave of Pokemon, anthro and gijnka alike, and somehow he ended up in a spot that's not too terrible but he wouldn't consider it one of the better spots. Whatever, he is here at the meeting and that's important. Whatever occurs here has to be worth it, otherwise waiting a whole day to let the Guild Leaders pork each other isn't going to be pleasant to deal with. Seeing that some of the townsfolk are getting anxious about events happening outside, getting the news out there about something should be enough to calm each Pokemon's nerves. On the plus side Twiggy got situated with a cute Torkoal and Infernape, so that isn't too bad.

And even before the actual conference took place, something magical happen. A surge of testosterone flows throughout the Chespin, coursing through him like he was experiencing an orgasm for the first time. Every part of him feels stronger, as if he is no longer a Chespin but a Chesnaught. His muscles feel slightly bigger, the fur on his torso thickening up and his balls churning up fresh sperm to impregnate anyone in his egg group... no, any lucky girl for that matter. Yes, something about a simple handshake from two friends got this Chespin to feel what it is truly like to be a man. So much raw power, it's too much for this little Pokemon to take! Although it quickly left him as soon as the two leaders let go, making Twiggy come off his high and getting him to look around in confusion, pondering if anyone else experienced the same thing he did or it was just him. It's one thing to feel such a random burst of testosterone from a simple handshake, but being naked in a crowd of people and sporting a hard-on is a whole other situation.

Twiggy should check this out with one of the nurses and see if there's anything they could prescribe.

Anyway, what about the meeting that the Chespin can get out of this? For the most part it's pretty much the same reaction as everyone else, although not all that drastic. Twiggy is a wanderer, seeing stuff like Mystery Dungeons isn't all that out of place for him, but a town turning into one certainly intrigues him. Not to mention that some are overlooking the fact that the leaders are seeking out an ancient Pokemon. Is this a particular Fossil Pokemon? One of the Old Gods? This has Twiggy fascinated with what this Pokemon is and what he can do to help. Granted he isn't all that knowledgeable about these kind of Pokemon, but if it's something he knows then he'll gladly look for these fragments and speed up the process to get this ancient Pokemon's help.

Hearing some of the other Pokemon's questions, Twiggy might as well throw out his. "So you have any idea who this ancient Pokemon is? At least it'll give an idea about what they can do to help us out..."

Fe stuck close to Clefine as the two of them settled into the crowd that had formed to hear the announcement that Khan was going to deliver. It came as no surprise to the Klefki that everyone showed up, and she seemed rather pleased to be in the thick of such a huge crowd. As for the actual conference itself, it started off quite nicely, with a potential cure being withing grasp almost instantly. The prospect of a key hunt almost made the mon giddy, given her species' affinity for keys. It was almost like she was destined to be a part of this key hunt, and she wouldn't miss out on the opportunity handed out to her. She didn't seem to be too bothered by the fact that the other continents were not willing to help in the slightest, although it did make her a bit sad. She had done her best to avoid quarantine, and it turns out now the whole island was pretty much one big quarantine now.

But the really bad news managed to shake up the little steel fairy. "... All of the towns are...?" Fe murmured to herself. Even if she didn't get the best education in the mountains, she definitely knew what a Mystery Dungeon was, and all the cautionary tales that came with them. Such a wide-sweeping change was not something to be taken lightly, and even Fe's unending optimism was hampered by this fact. As soon as they started asking for questions, Fe shot her hand up, bouncing up and down to try and get some leverage above the crowd. If she does manage to be picked, she says, "I actually have 2 questions! One, what about all the other places that are more like gatherings of people rather than towns? Like, alot of mons living in the mountains or forests, for instance? Are those areas Mystery Dungeons now too? And the key... who's going to be holding onto the pieces and the full key once it's completed? ... Actually, do you even know how easy it will be to put the key back together in the first place? ... Sorry, I thought of another question after asking the second one..."

IT IS NOW 8:00 AM

Town Square

Khan took in all of the questions and then a deep breath, before he began answering them, one by one.

"We're not exactly sure as to where the key fragments could be found...Though, the base fragment and the box currently in our possession were found in Mystery Dungeons, so that's our best lead at the moment."

"We'll be sending people out in teams of 3 Pokemons, four in case we feel the area is particularly dangerous, then a veteran will accompany you on the expedition. Me and Flora have been discussing on how to split the teams up, but if you'd like to team up with anyone in specific, be sure to let us know...Working with those you already know is always the most efficient, after all."

"We have the base for the key...Flora, if you please." With that call, Flora pulled out the base of the key from her massive afro-like hair and handed it over to Khan. It was little more than a literal golden metal stick at the moment, but upon closer inspection, there appeared to be four slots in it. "Based on it, we're guessing we need 4 pieces in total before we open the box."

"As for who the Pokemon is...Well, it's an old tale, so we don't really have a name for them just yet but...According to what we've researched, they appear to be able to travel through time, purify Pokemon and are responsible for protection of the forests...Supposedly they were a lot more common in the past, but their appearances slowly began to dwindle after the first Mystery Dungeons began to emerge. We're not sure how related those things are but..." Khan was silent for a bit. "We don't have a name for them, no. If you want, we can show you the information we've gathered up so far, later."

Finally, he went on to address Fe. "I...I can't say for sure. Our scouts have been going around and trying to confirm this for as many towns and places as possible. Forests, mountains and caves were always prone to being Mystery Dungeons...We admittedly haven't had the time to check that properly yet. Flora will be keeping all the pieces of the key." He stated, holding out the piece in his hand and handing it back to Flora. "As the..." He coughed some. "Strongest out of all of us...We figured she should be the best one to keep it safe."

Khan was silent for a bit but then added. "There's also...Another thing. We haven't been able to get into contact with the Quarantine Zone we had set up for Infected Pokemon in a while. All communications between us and them seemed to have been cut out and we didn't get any further messages from them. Though judging from what happened to the towns..." There was a long moment of silence. "Well, we're still looking into it." He slammed his hands against the table. "At any rate. Me and Flora have been organizing and planning expeditions to a bunch of different dungeons, we need to find those key fragments...Fast. As such, we will be sending out all the registered Rescue and Explorer Team Members off on expeditions by eleven o'clock. If any of you have a preference for team mates, let us know as soon as possible...We'll stick around here for a bit if anyone wants to settle that now or has further questions...But, otherwise...I said all I needed to. This announcement is over."

Ashton listened as Khan answered the questions given. It seemed things were getting quite complicated. One thing was for certain though; he wanted to help, and to do that he needed to join a guild. Now that the announcement was done it seemed some pokes were already clearing out. With only three hours before the assignments were handed out he needed to get signed up quickly if he didn't want to possibly be left waiting in a line.

First though, he needed to decide which team to join. With the current situation he wasn't sure how big of a difference the distinction would make, but it had to make some difference. Thinking it over he didn't really feel that much of a preference either way until he thought upon the happenings at the gate yesterday. It had really bothered him to hear all those people crying out and while weird saving them had been pretty satisfying. Not to mention the fringe benefits afterwards which caused him to blush a bit. The Exploration Team was certainly doing important work, but somehow he felt himself a little more drawn toward the Rescue Team in the end.

Making up his mind he began briskly marching his way up to the Rescue Team's Guild house. Walking through the front door he deflated a little feeling a bit weird walking in with such gusto. Walking a bit more casually now he approached the front desk clearing his throat to get the attention of the current attendant. "Hi, I'd uh like to sign up with the Rescue Team."

Strange, Twiggy seems to have a faint idea as to what this ancient Pokemon is. The thing is this is going way back ever since he was still a hatchling, barely can remember all that much but he remembers his mother telling tales about these creatures from long ago. They seem to have quite the presence and it's sad to see them all go away with the arrival of these Mystery Dungeons, but if one is still alive then this should be a great opportunity. The thing now is trying to remember what these Pokemon are called so he could ask anyone who might have a clue about these Pokemon and point him in the right direction. But finding the fragments to the key also helps out quite the bit.

A team of three? Four just in case where they're going is particularly dangerous, too? Considering the disease running around out on the continent, things are rather sketchy as it is, so getting all the help they get is more than beneficial to the cause. Plus the more to the team, the easier it'll be to find the pieces, but this could mean being slowed down by others and dealing with their problems. While it'll be one thing to head on in by themselves and go deal with the Dungeon to find the fragment, Twiggy's not that stupid or suicidal to head on in like that. However he does have a bit of issue of finding any crucial members that can easily head on through the Dungeon and deal with its residents. Heading back to the Guild should help out, along with signing up to go find one of the pieces should be good.

Actually, something occurred to him. During all of this he is standing next to two who he believed works at the Guild... at least for one of the bathhouses. Maybe it is his imagination, but when he arrived at the Guild and took a tour, he swear he saw these two working in the bathhouse and tending to the waters. Twiggy shakes his head at the thought, making him feel silly for possibly getting information wrong about the two, but he is weighing his options on having a Fire Pokemon with him. The Infernape is a rather cute individual, and so is the Torkoal, but should he ask them? Whatever happens, all the Chespin needs to do is make his way through the crowd of Pokemon and head on to the Guild to get all registered up for an Explorer team. It's best to get that done now and then get to looking for partners for his little team.

Aeryn grimly noted how bad the situation, but her mood was somewhat elevated by the whine of a familiar voice. She had to smile, just ever so slightly, from the satisfaction of having the good fortune to buy that box back at such a cheap price.

As for getting to business, she had to go see Flora about getting into one of the dispatched teams to discover the fates of the towns that had been converted into dungeons, or more likely, heading into one of the possible dungeons in search of the key fragments. Skirting around the majority of the crowd, Aeryn tried to get close enough to Flora to talk to her about getting into one of those teams. She was an explorer after all, and she was the Guild leader, and hers by extension.

Glori smiled as she saw a perfect opportunity to pick a fight with some criminal scum. She got in to a fighting position and did her best to pull off the timeless technique passed down through generations of her family: Intimidation.

"I'm an honorable fighter, so I'll give you one chance to surrender and return everything you've taken. Otherwise, you and your brother are in for a world of hurt!"

She was confident that she could take on the Glameow gal easily. But just in case the brother joined in, she knew she needed to compensate for being out numbered.

*Glori used Double Team*

She would never resort to that in a friendly skirmish, but decided that stopping those thieves was more important than any sense of honor.

As she stood there with her false clone, she began taunting the Glameow.

"I'll reiterate. Give up now, or you'll be sorry!"

Fe was half wishing that they would pass the key to her, but seeing it in the hands of another Fairy pokemon put her at ease... she was still slightly jealous, though. In any case, they knew a decent amount about the situation that things weren't completely hopeless... but the mention of losing contact with the quarantine zone made Fe rather nervous. Her brother was sent there because he was severely infected, and who knows what could be happening now that the guild could no longer keep tabs on the area... she shook her head, not wanting to think about it for much longer. She tugged on Clefine's blouse gently before asking, "Clefine, we should probably start getting ready to go, right?"
