I don't think a seduce option would mesh with the tone and Rythem of the story. Our heroines are trying to STOP the kidnap/rapist cult, somehow the 'seduce' option makes them no better than the enemy xD.

As far as a 'seduction' skill... I haven't really thought of that, though it'd be closer to be part of a 'sex battle' type system that would have to come later, likely due to lack of severe demand. Plus, I can already tell it'll be a pain to put in if it means needing separate H-scenes for each enemy (remember, the Chambers is not only a storyline-related place to give people insight into the Syndicate's inner workings, but also as a cop-out way for me to put additional human enemies without having to make an H-scene for every single one right away!)--and remember, it's practically just me working on this project in terms of using RPGVX. Thanks to my two testers though, as well as everyone who has taken the time to give input, feedback, suggestions and so on!

Oh, I understand you have too much to do already. And I don't ask new scene for each enemy, seducing some of them must be impossible (bandits for example will just capture her), seducing others will give same h-scenes as defeat (slime, abomination and other such monsters) and perhaps few bonus scenes if it has sense. The point is just get xp, decrease purity (works once for each type of enemy of course) and diversify gameplay.

Well, not really. They all are trying to get princess and a lot of heroines even have pretty much selfish reasons.

Heh. I think the 'seduction' option can do well when played in context, but even if I were to implement it mid-battle, I don't think I would do it for every enemy. And of course, a low Purity requirement is mandatory there.

As far as the virgin's blood thing, it does sound tedious to have to keep your character a virgin until that point, but at the same time, game-mechanic wise, it's not a terrible incentive to stay a virgin and then just throw it all down the drain in kind of a neat way, for people who wish to become vampires. Like I said though, I'm focusing on the 0.06 release at the moment, which has one more major non H-scene til completion... G_G Depending on how all of that goes, it'll likely be before the end of the weekend.

The tedium isn't the ONLY thing that militates against requiring virginity to become vampiric, though I'd say it IS the main factor which militates against it.

There's also the "No Vampire Rhiannon" thing, which would be a pity. Only 3 characters would have the choice to do it in the first place, and a new player would have no way of knowing which 3 that was, until he/she ran into the vampire conversation that explained it.

Doesn't bother me in particular, since I'm probably keepin' em human for at least the first playthrough, but anyone who had a hooge vampire fetish might be disappointed.

Actually four characters? Or am I wrong? Sairyn has a 95 purity score but she's still a virgin?

Also, atm, there really AREN'T any incentives to keep your purity score high. So implementing Vampirism as a game mechanic to reward "saving up purity" for a nice buff isn't such a bad idea from a game mechanic stand point. Anyone else search high and low in Morrowind and let a vampire beat the snot out of you until it finally told you that you'd contracted the desiese xD I did!

That being said.... I'm not a huge vampire fan, I'm just for adding some perks for having high purity scores as there are already a few for having them low.

No, it's not the thing. As I said earlier they must be almost defeated before it, closest analogy might be *cough* catching a pokemon.

Okay got a vampire fix... sorta... While i don't have a work around for the virgin thing what if you got bit after failing combat with the vampire.

i think only rhiannon and maybe thyme would have that skill lol

and thats why i said depending on the rules you use you can bypass alot, like if you are going with my "good" vamp idea (just as a example) he would rather drink the blood of a virgin rather then a girl that isn't one (it's like you would rather drink coke then dr. pepper) insted of him only turning the virgin girls (and that is if he "has" to turn her when he bite her) he can chose to turn her or not (altho it would be nice to ask the vamp if he can turn the girl lol) he can feed off them all andcan turn any of the 8 girls (or more if there are more girls comming) to a vamp or not

That or I can simply make Purity the definer and not necessarily the virgin status. Vampirism is just an example--there are other buffs / kinks / mechanics I can use to reward high Purity which doesn't necessarily have to revolve around the virginity mechanic.

And yes, Sairyn is a virgin despite being at 95 Purity. If you screwed enough slimes or got anally reamed by enough gargoyles (though unlikely at the moment, since I don't believe they respawn right now) and so on, you can technically have a low Purity but still be a virgin. That being said, I'm modifying the plants to take virginity next patch--but don't worry, people who have existing save files won't lose their 'virgin status' if they did it with a plant before 0.06 comes out.

So regarding the proposed seduction tactic: the logic is, once they're weak enough... they're more vulnerable to being seduced? After looking at the system more, there IS a way to implement this without using scripts from what I can see, but sad to say it's not currently a priority.

I wasn't actually trying to RESTATE the already stated suggestion there (which is good, because if I had been trying to do that, I would have failed miserably, since what I said was different from what had already been said.) I was making a suggestion of my own - a different one - on the topic.

Yeah, as long as it's not something limited to a certain number of the characters then I've no valid objection to make. It's to the VIRGINITY thing in particular that I was objecting.
Tedium is fine if it's specifically a purity requirement thing, so that objection falls by the wayside too.

I wasn't paying close attention to the numbers at all actually, just being all:

I think the seduce tactic would be an excellent implementation to the game in my opinion, as it could potentially be used to gain an H-Scene (or insta-kill if it's used to lower an enemies guard for the ultimate cock block aka) without losing any health compared to using submit and gaining experience as well. It can be a bit annoying that when you choose the submit option you get your scene then having to find a way to get all of your health.

Keep in mind that my RPGVX knowledge is still fairly limited, so while it might be easy to suggest things like 'make this happen after 5 rounds', 'make this not take away any HP', and so on, actually putting that into motion and knowing how are a different matter. So please forgive my lack of know-how in this case; the 'submit' option taking your HP down to 1 was originally mentioned as, and still is, a temporary fix. However, after 0.06, I'll probably take a couple of weeks to try and at least improve the surrender option to where it does NOT leave you with 1 HP.

To seduce the spear guard, your Purity must be low enough; it varies for each character in this case, but you'll want to be around 10-20 Purity points lower from where your character started, which pretty much means losing to the first bandit ONCE (twice is a gameover), sleeping with the maid, and probably getting reamed by 2-3 gargoyles; that should do it.

Also, noted a bug where Lanie's AoE spells are currently set to one target. This is already fixed and ready for the next patch.
EDIT:
In other news, it might honestly be until sometime later next week that 0.06 gets done... I've gotten all the H-scenes I've wanted to add finished for the most part, but this one storyline-relevant scene is taking a lot longer than I thought it would. Don't worry--I actually work on this project at least a couple hours a day, so I'm not slacking off by any means, just that I inadvertently made an area that would seem... a little too 'empty' without adding more H-scenes, I guess, somewhat like the Chambers; unless you guys don't mind me adding them later, but yeah...heh.

oh i wanted to ask, when you beat the game is there going to be a "new game +" or a gallery/scene watching mode? i understand if you want to keep it a secret i am just asking/wondering^,..,^

There will be a 'gallery mode', yes, but as of right now, no estimated time of arrival just yet. Right now I'm actually transferring a good amount of the H-events to common events, so they can at least be accessed on demand, but there are still a few to go.

Hmm, a list of possible events... I'll probably make this more thorough later, but here's what I got off the top of my head:
-Losing to the first bandit once
-Losing to the first bandit a second time (while he's drowsy) / WARNING: Game Over Scene
-Having the maid please you in the second room (Irine needs lower Purity to do this)
-Losing to the gargoyles in the statue room
-Losing to the spear guard in the Bottlery / Seducing him if Purity is low enough
-First time you are sent to the Chambers (by losing to the silent assassins or Kalen, the corrupt captain); unique scene
-Losing to the Slave Trader in the Chambers
-Losing to the Journeyman Bandit in the Chambers
-Sleeping with the twins in the Chambers a 1st time (boys on bed in SW corner)
-Losing to the Slave Supervisor in the Chambers (lady with glasses in NW corner)
-Offering yourself to the 3 sailors in the Syndicate Bar, OR
-Losing to the 3 sailors in the Syndicate Bar
-Losing to the slimes in the Slime Cavern
-Losing to the plant monsters in the Syndicate Grow-Op
-Losing to the plant monster boss at the south end of the Syndicate Grow-Op, after Nebula cutscene / WARNING: Game Over Scene
And that's for every character, with variations (mainly in text / speech) depending on who you chose, so about 120 scenes total, I guess.

And of course, more to be shown in 0.06, including two additions to the supervisor and one to the twins in the Chambers, as well as at least two all-new ones. The first ones mentioned also come as a result of a choice or a win, not a loss. ;3 Of course, similar events that trigger on 'wins' will be added as I go along, but one of the 'side goals' is to add a high variety of 'lose rape' scenes, naturally. I'm also working on consensual love scenes, which will be unlockable only by having higher Purity AND making the right conversational choices with the involved characters.

This is all for the purpose of adding variety to the game as well as H-scene as a 'reward' for good gameplay, but let's face it--some people out there just want to see some new H-scenes, roll over, then go to sleep. I won't take away your right to do that either, for most of them. :P

Did I read it right? There will some kind of "ewww" reaction to low Purity or something else?
This is all for the purpose of adding variety to the game, but let's face it--some people out there just want to see some new H-scenes, roll over, then go to sleep. I won't take away your right to do that either. :P

Actually I like gameplay in some RPG maker games. They remind me old DOS games, which had their charm. Though it's always better when they have some adittional types of gameplay besides standart combat.
